One Wished. One Had. One Glad It's Gone
When I think of you and trust,
I am thinking of us and no one else.
But Lately I am cautiously near you,
With suspicion...
I wish would go away.
What did you do when you did it?
I've been so blindly romancing you.
I stumble over my own fantasies!
When I think of you and Lust!
I...
Whew! !
Would you like that graphic?
And detailed?
I...do...not...hear...you.
'Why should I respond?
What's going on in your head and mine,
Are on two separate journeys.'
Where was I when 'that' happened?
'Not listening. Thoughtless. Uncaring and distant.'
And where did 'you' go?
The 'you' I thought I knew.
'I'm not going to waste a 'trip' on you.
We've been through that.
And...
Where do I go?
When did you start caring about that? '
So..
What was done you did,
Had to have been recent.
You have lost desire, passion...
And,
Don't say 'committment'!
'I will whisper it!
And maybe 'then' it will connect,
In your head.'
When I think of you,
I stumble over my own fantasies.
I am thinking of us and no one else.
I've been so blindly romancing you.
I stumble over my own fantasies!
When I think of you...
Now.
And what was done you did...
Whatever you did do...
I could not desire you without passion.
And well...
What 'is' committment?
'One wished. One had. One glad it's gone.'
