What Have We All Forgotten?
WHAT have we all forgotten, at the break of the seventh year?
With a nation born to the ages and a Bad Time borne on its bier!
Public robbing, and lying that death cannot erase—
“Private” strife and deception—Cover the bad dead face!
Drinking, gambling and madness—Cover and bear it away—
But what have we all forgotten at the dawn of the seventh day?
These are the years of plenty—years when the “tanks” are full—
Stacked by the lonely sidings mountains of wheat and wool.
Country crowds to the city, healthy, shaven and dressed,
Clothes to wear with the gayest, money to spend with the best.
Grand are the lights of the cities, carnival kings in power—
But what have we all forgotten, in this, the eleventh hour?
“We” have brought the states together, a land to the lands new born.
We have worked in the glorious weather, we have garnered and reaped and shorn.
We have come from the grass-waves flowing under Heaven’s electric lamps
(Making of sordid cities, boyish and jovial camps).
“We” have cleansed the cities and townships: we rest and frolic and gain,
But what have we all forgotten? Did we send the peace and the rain?
What have we all forgotten, here in our glorious home?
(I the greater the sinner because I was greater than some.)
What have we all forgotten so widely from east to west?
(I—and the most ungrateful because I was doubly blessed.)
Sinners to self and to country! and saviours though misunderstood!
Let us all kneel for one moment and thank the Great Spirits for Good.

Forgotten Future
The forgotten future of what should have been.
It's crumbled at our feet,
gone and most certainly dead.
The mournful times I now must face.
Companionship and love without a trace.
A forgotten future that filled me with endless hope.
Now so barren and fruitless it makes me choke.
Forgotten furture where did it go?
A nuclear winter with in my black soul.
Broken hearted soul bereft.
I face this forgotten future now with death.
No other way to kill the pain.
In a forgotten future it matters not here anyway.
The forgotten future that was held so dear.
I grabed and fed for many a year.
It was my life, it was my hope.
Now it hangs me with short rope.
The end is nigh.
I need not fear,
the relief I seek is very near.
Forgotten future now grows dark.
As the memory of me will soon be marked.

Forgotten Lyrics
your making
your turning
my own song
into
what's it's not supposed
to be
i'm lying
lying to your face
i'v forgotten these lyrics
to this song
oh what you gonna do
about it
about what now
i'm running away
i want to (do something)
wont to
be forgotten
i'm lying
lying to your face
i'v forgotten these lyrics
to this song
oh what you gonna do
about it
about what now
i'm falling down
i wont let you help me
words can not describe
the hatedred i feel
so should i
oh will i
let you bring me back
ha
i dont think so
i'm lying
lying to your face
i'v forgotten these lyrics
to this song
oh what you gonna do
about it
about what now
i'm lying
lying to your face
i'v forgotten these lyrics
to this song
oh what you gonna do
about it
about what now
i'v forgotten these lyrics
to this song
oh what you gonna do
about it
about what now

Hast Thou Forgotten Me?
HAST thou forgotten me? the days are dark—
Light ebbs from heaven, and songless soars the lark—
Vexed like my heart, loud moans the unquiet sea—
Hast thou forgotten me?
Hast thou forgotten me? O dead delight
Whose dreams and memories torture me to-night—
O love—my life! O sweet—so fair to see—
Hast thou forgotten me?
Hast thou forgotten? Lo, if one should say—
Noontide were night, or night were flaming day—
Grief blinds mine eyes, I know not which it be!
Hast thou forgotten me?
Hast thou forgotten? Ah, if Death should come,
Close my sad eyes, and charm my song-bird dumb—
Tired of strange woes—my fate were hailed with glee—
Hast thou forgotten me?
Hast thou forgotten me? What joy have I?
A dim blown bird beneath an alien sky,—
O that on mighty pinions I could flee—
Hast thou forgotten me?
Hast thou forgotten? Yea, Love’s horoscope
Is blurred with tears and suffering beyond Hope—
Ah, like dead leaves forsaken of the tree,
Thou hast forgotten me.

The Agony Of An Okada Rider
You have taken away my
means of livelihood.
My means of living confortable.
What is your gain
in my pain?
What is your fame
in my shame?
You say i take lives,
but you have forgotten how
many lifes i have saved.
You say it is a sign of poverty,
but were is the job opportunity?
You say i destroy roads,
but i can't remember seeing any
bike weighing more than a tipper.
You have forgotten how
i eradicate latenessless,
how i pass through traffic
jams without delay.
You have forgotten places
where your public transport
won't take.
Distance where human leg
would trek and ache.
You have forgotten the
helmet you gave.
You have forgotten.
Our little hope,
you have crushed,
leaving this memories
to linger on.
Now i to have to start all
over again.
From grace to grass.

Forgetting Something So Important
why am i here?
must i have forgotten
the reason why
am i
here? am i destined
for something
greater
than my mind?
or my heart?
have i forgotten that
i have a soul?
a spirit engraved
within the
shiny metal of
my body,
a name, a brand,
a status
why am i here?
have i forgotten You
who have placed
me here?
have i forgotten
that love is always the
reason for my
being here
in this misery
shall love continue to be
my guide and cure?
how can i ever forget
the floor of
my existence
the love without
a ceiling?
the house of love
that never falls
the beams that never
break
the Host that knows
everything

Forgotten, But Not Gone
(johnny macrae/buzz carson)
Her birthday came and went without a card, or a single I love you
On their anniversary she sat all alone at a table set for two
She tries her best to please him, but she never hears one single word of praise
She feels just like a stranger, in a home where love has seen its better days
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
Somehow he cant remember, when hes late to even take the time to call
And even on the nights hes there she gets the feeling hes not there at all
Shes become a prisoner in that big old house where sweet love used to be
Well, its not even over but lord she feels just like a memory
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone

Youve Forgotten
Youve been passed around from hand to hand
Cast upon the darkest sands
Now youre so confused that you can hardly stand
Forgotten, youve forgotten now youre on the run
Forgotten, youve forgotten
How to live beneath the sun
How to live beneath the sun
Before you left I thought I knew
That you would always need me too
I never thought someday, that Id be telling you
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
The things you used to feel
Forgotten, youve forgotten
How to smile for real
How to smile for real
And for the changes you have made
Your beauty was the price you paid
All your dreams rose up and then you watched them fade.
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
The best is always yet to come
The best is always yet to come
The best is always yet to come
And how to live beneath the sun

Let it be Forgotten
Let it be forgotten, as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold.
Let it be forgotten forever and ever,
Time is a kind friend, he will make us old.
If anyone asks, say it was forgotten
Long and long ago,
As a flower, as a fire, as a hushed footfall
In a long-forgotten snow.

My Forgotten Angel I'm Without You
The eyes bleed form the insides
The head collapses on impact
How am I suppose to react
The sweat pours from my forehead
You were thought to be dead
With so much left unsaid
Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel
I'm so sorry
You lied in a comma
Three years pasted
The doctor said you'd never wake
Oh how the heart breaks
Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel
You've missed so much since you supposedly died
I got married
And it wasn't you
Now I feel so blue
Sad
Twisted
Torn
Ripped into a thousand pieces
Let me choke till my breathing ceases
I got a couple nieces
Baby twins
I wonder if I can ever be forgiven
Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel
Oh the mistake I made
But I now got to be brave
I won't allow myself to be torn in two
A get well card will never due
My forgotten angel
Being so brave
My forgotten angel
Learning to talk again
My forgotten angel
Learning to walk again
I will stay away once your okay
So I don't wonder what could have been
I feel like your next of kin
I will pretend we were never together at all
I will always want to answer that phone call
My forgotten angel
I'm sorry
I can't
I moved on without you
Without you

The Chronicles of A New Day part 1 5 years from now
5 years from now forgotten
maybe after so much time
out of the cage out of the pen
no longer trapped by word and rhyme
childish infatuations all but forgotten all gone away
no more saying this day how fey!
only today
here we... w...
at this time i ask how
could i get to this here and now where memories fade
where debts are paid
love songs forgotten away with the wind
now blowing blowing forgotten feeling blowing farther
is this my future?

Hold Hands
lovers have forgotten
how to hold hands...
and children have forgotten
the wonder of being outside.
workers have forgotten
how it feels to be appreciated.
old people have forgotten
how it feels to be needed.
everyday people have forgotten
how it feels to grow their own food.
students have forgotten
the joy of learning...
the American people have forgotten
how it feels to believe...
in equality, dignity, and hope...
how it feels to hold hands!

The Forgotten Soldier
The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Scarred for all eternity. Searching for divinity. Prayer yet to be answered. Smoking has just brought cancer. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Looking for forgiveness in all the wrong places. So many name and so many faces. An anecdotal pun he has become. A history lesson has been undone. Wars never can be won. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. In his eyes lies the blood of many. Sleepless nights of sacrifice and murder. And in the end their is no one to comfort him. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Times have changed. Now he can only wish he was flying a jet plane. Treated like dirt. Crippled and weak. And the man just turns the other cheek. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Today is his birthday and he spends it in a nursing home all alone. To all he is forgotten dead and gone. But i remember, i remember all the forgotten soldiers.

St. Louis Villa
Citronella, Star Anise, Clove and Fennel;
Spice up my food for others to eat like,
'St. Louis Villa' at 'Nii Boi Town'.
Of the forgotten land,
Of the forgotten people,
Of the forgotten folks,
And of my forgotten friends;
Like the way of the life we have to think about,
But be very successful and healthy all year round.
The way of Cain is in you,
The error of Balaam is with you,
The rebellion of Korah is on your steps,
And to put me into remembrance is like the early bird.
Micahyah is the Malak Gadol,
And she contended with the Devil in a dispute;
But come to 'St. Louis Villa' for the feast of love.

My Little Is Gone (But Not Forgotten)
I walked the line of self-destruction,
and self-mutilation,
my insanity was legendary,
and my madness took over my body and soul,
and than you walked into my life,
with a bright little smile,
and so curious,
you loved every minute of your life,
your friends,
your school,
and your teachers,
but know I look at the empty chair,
and I wonder what could have been,
what kind of life that you could of had,
if you hadn't felt the way that you did,
Chorus: My Little Girl IS Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten
Me you and your mother,
spent each day living life to the fullest,
unaware of the demons in your pretty little skull,
unaware of the hate that you had for this world,
the hate that you had for yourself,
that was destroying your mind,
body spirit and soul,
and destroying the love that you had for us,
I couldn't imagine,
life without you with us here,
in this life,
But what are we to do,
It’s so hard and so sad,
its like we can't move on,
Daddy has grown insane,
and Mommy's not far behind him,
Chorus: My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
The pain will never go away,
and I'll never dry my tears,
that rolls down my cheeks when I think of you,
that void in my heart and soul will always be there,
where you used to rest,
the part of me that can never be repaired,
I'll always have you in my heart,
in my body,
and in my soul.,
Life Fades,
but that doesn’t mean love has to,
Little Girl,
you'll always be in my heart,
my body and my soul,
but mostly you will always have a safe home,
in my heart,
I'd never think I'd feel like this,
strange to be like this,
strange to feel this alone,
but you know,
we will cross paths once more,
in the great beyond,
Chorus: My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
She’s always going to be our little girl,
she’s always going to be our little angel,
she’s always going to be our little Sarah,
she’s always going to rest in our hearts,
Mommy and me will get by,
Well be looking for you up in heaven,
when we finally get there,
were going to be looking for you, Babygirl,
We'll be looking for our little angel..
Chorus: My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
My Little Girl Is Gone,
But Not Forgotten,
Little girl,
you'll never be forgotten,
mommy and daddy still love you,
and will always love you,

Forgotten Time
bumming around
the country...
sleeping under bridges,
or just under...
the night sky...
working when i
could find it.
selling blood
when i couldnt!
gather a little change,
stop in a diner
for a cup of
black coffee...
writing poems
on napkins
with pencils...
leaving them for
my tip...
unsigned, forgotten
prayers, a forgotten
man, a forgotten
time!

Loss of Time
A forgotten time
A forgotten society
A forgotten land
A forgotten people
A time of peace
A time of war
A time of grieving
A time of celebration
A time of loss
A loss of knowledge
A loss of dignity
A loss of loved ones
A loss of sanity
A loss of peace
A beginning of a new time
A beginning of new life
A beginning of new knowledge
A beginning of new peace
A beginning of new war
Its all a cycle
From a new beginning
To loss
To a time of difference
Till it is all forgotten
And a new beginning is forged.

Forgotten But Not Gone
Shes been good to me
Shes been as kind as a girl can be
But I get the feeling
She thinks that certain something is gone
Its the little things
Like the words to the songs she sings
Are a little different
And I can tell that Im not the one
Its just a matter of time
Forgotten but not gone
Im the invisible guy
Forgotten but not gone
It was my mistake
cause I gave less than I could take
And I never noticed
She wanted something I didnt have
And my roving eye
Drove her off to another guy
Now she doesnt see that
To keep from crying Ive got to laugh
And its so hard to believe
When I call her she turns away
Like she dont see me at all
And its so hard to believe
All that water under the bridge
Dont count for nothing at all
Its the same old line
Out of sight and youre out of mind
But I never thought that
Id see the day when she didnt care
But the jokes on me
I came home yesterday to see
Them in bed together
And making love like I wasnt there
It was a matter of time
Forgotten but not gone
I could have rolled up an died
Forgotten but not gone
Im the invisible guy
Forgotten but not gone

If You Forget Me
If you forget me
Who ever you are?
It will mean nothing to me
Who will go on living
Having forgotten the purpose
To a life
That drags heavy footed
Through grey streets
If you forget me
Just remember,
I have already forgotten
You,
And if you remember this,
Please remind me,
So that I will stop posting you
A christmas card
Whoever you are,
We who are strangers
Who go on living
Because we have forgotten
The pointlessness to our lives
Or why we wear sensible shoes
At a certain age
Or why some eat cereal
While others go empty into the morning
Why where how?
If you forget me
Remember to remind me that,
I have already forgotten you
Then I promise to stop sending you a christmas card
Or wishing you a happy new year
And if I have forgotten that you who are living
Have died and are now dead,
Then forgive me for sending you all those post cards
Without a return to sender
I may have simply forgotten to read the small print
On the invite card
Or maybe it rained
or I had a cold
Or was too busy forgetting the day of the week
And the pointlessness to my existence
Which when forgotten
Along with you, my friend,
Is less bleak
Infact it is quite pleasant
Okay
So let's just forget the whole miserable affair, okay?

Search & Destroy
(pop/williamson)
Im a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm
Im a runaway son of the nuclear a-bomb
I am a worlds forgotten boy
The one who searches and destroys
Honey gotta help me please
Somebody gotta save my soul
Baby detonate for me
Look out honey, cause Im using technology
Aint got time to make no apology
Soul radiation in the dead of night
Love in the middle of a fire fight
Honey gotta strike me blind
Somebody gotta save my soul
Baby penerate my mind
And Im the worlds forgotten boy
The one whos searchin, searchin to destroy
And honey Im the worlds forgotten boyt
The one whos searchin, searchin to destroy
Forgotten boy, forgotten boy
Forgotten boy said hey forgotten boy
