Hold Hands

lovers have forgotten
how to hold hands...
and children have forgotten
the wonder of being outside.

workers have forgotten
how it feels to be appreciated.
old people have forgotten
how it feels to be needed.

everyday people have forgotten
how it feels to grow their own food.
students have forgotten
the joy of learning...

the American people have forgotten
how it feels to believe...
in equality, dignity, and hope...
how it feels to hold hands!

Forgotten, But Not Gone

(johnny macrae/buzz carson)
Her birthday came and went without a card, or a single I love you
On their anniversary she sat all alone at a table set for two
She tries her best to please him, but she never hears one single word of praise
She feels just like a stranger, in a home where love has seen its better days
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
Somehow he cant remember, when hes late to even take the time to call
And even on the nights hes there she gets the feeling hes not there at all
Shes become a prisoner in that big old house where sweet love used to be
Well, its not even over but lord she feels just like a memory
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone

I Haven't Forgotten

I haven't forgotten when I meet you first!
I haven't forgotten when I greet you last!
I haven't forgotten your pretty face!
I haven't forgotten your smile and grace!

I haven't forgotten how we started chatting!
I haven't forgotten when we started dating!
I haven't forgotten our last walk together!
I haven't forgotten how I became a loser!

I haven't forgotten how it became too late!
I haven't forgotten when I understood fate!
I haven't forgotten that summer's northwester!
I haven't forgotten and won't forget ever!

Youve Forgotten

Youve been passed around from hand to hand
Cast upon the darkest sands
Now youre so confused that you can hardly stand
Forgotten, youve forgotten now youre on the run
Forgotten, youve forgotten
How to live beneath the sun
How to live beneath the sun
Before you left I thought I knew
That you would always need me too
I never thought someday, that Id be telling you
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
The things you used to feel
Forgotten, youve forgotten
How to smile for real
How to smile for real
And for the changes you have made
Your beauty was the price you paid
All your dreams rose up and then you watched them fade.
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
Youve forgotten, youve forgotten
The best is always yet to come
The best is always yet to come
The best is always yet to come
And how to live beneath the sun

Let it be Forgotten

Let it be forgotten, as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold.
Let it be forgotten forever and ever,
Time is a kind friend, he will make us old.

If anyone asks, say it was forgotten
Long and long ago,
As a flower, as a fire, as a hushed footfall
In a long-forgotten snow.

My Forgotten Angel I'm Without You

The eyes bleed form the insides
The head collapses on impact
How am I suppose to react
The sweat pours from my forehead
You were thought to be dead
With so much left unsaid

Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel

I'm so sorry
You lied in a comma
Three years pasted
The doctor said you'd never wake
Oh how the heart breaks

Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel

You've missed so much since you supposedly died
I got married
And it wasn't you
Now I feel so blue
Sad
Twisted
Torn
Ripped into a thousand pieces
Let me choke till my breathing ceases
I got a couple nieces
Baby twins
I wonder if I can ever be forgiven

Forgotten angel
Forgotten angel

Oh the mistake I made
But I now got to be brave
I won't allow myself to be torn in two
A get well card will never due

My forgotten angel
Being so brave
My forgotten angel
Learning to talk again
My forgotten angel
Learning to walk again

I will stay away once your okay
So I don't wonder what could have been
I feel like your next of kin
I will pretend we were never together at all
I will always want to answer that phone call

My forgotten angel
I'm sorry
I can't
I moved on without you
Without you

Maybe I'm crazy

I am not Emo
I’m not a Goth
I’m perfectly normal
But I know what it feels to be lost
Stuck in the crowd
Can’t hear a sound
Feels like I’m pushed back in the distance
Can’t come out
Do people see?
Do they believe?
Or am I just crazy from being lonely?

The words burst from my lips as I scream
But the people around me don’t seem to hear a thing
Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?
The world is acting like they don’t know about me
Am I forgotten? Am I just crazy?
Am I just lost? Am I just lonely?
Somebody hear me
Somebody save me

I check my phone, nobody calls
I can’t help, but feeling so forgot
I put on a show, nobody knows
Where did all the people I used to love, go?
I see a face, forgot its name
But they don’t seem to recognize me, anyway
All of my friends are with somebody else
And now I’m sitting here all by myself
(All by myself)

The words burst from my lips as I scream
(From my lips, as I scream)
But the people around me don’t seem to hear a thing
(But the people, don’t hear a thing)
Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?
(Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?)
The world is acting like they don’t know about me
(Acting like, don’t know about me)
Am I forgotten? Am I going crazy?
(Am I forgotten? Am I going crazy?)
Am I just lost? Am I just lonely?
(Am I just lost, maybe I’m lonely)
Somebody hear me
(Somebody near me)
Somebody save me
(Somebody save me)
Or am I just crazy?
Or am I just crazy?
(Maybe, oh maybe)

I took a chance, got sick of the burn
There’s no need of me, to feel so undeserved
People walk by, I try to say hi
But they even try to talk to me, why?
Is it my face? Is it my name?
Or am I just overreacting, and going insane?
I know they see me, I know they see me
So why are they leaving?
Why did they leave me?

The words burst from my lips as I scream
(From my lips, as I scream)
But the people around me don’t seem to hear a thing
(People around me, don’t hear a thing)
Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?
(Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?)
The world is acting like they don’t know about me
(Acting like, don’t know about me)
Am I forgotten? Am I going crazy?
(Am I forgotten? Am I going crazy?)
Am I just lost? Am I just lonely?
(Am I? , maybe I’m lonely)
Somebody hear me
(Somebody near me)
Somebody save me
(Somebody please save me)
Or am I just crazy?
Or am I just crazy?
(Maybe, oh just maybe)

Live life they say, it’s the only you’ve got
But how can you live? How can you give?
If there’s nothing you’ve got
Well I’ve got myself, and I’ve got my dreams
But I guess I’ll just have to live them separately
Stuck in the shadow, I need someone else
How can I get them to notice me, so I won’t be by myself?
Do you hear?
Do you see?
Or am I just another nobody, who has nothing? (nothing)

The words burst from my lips as I scream
(From my lips, as I scream)
But the people around me don’t seem to hear a thing
(People around me, don’t hear a thing)
Am I invisible? Am I going crazy?

Am I forgotten? Am I going crazy?

Somebody hear me
(Somebody near me)
Somebody save me
(Somebody save me)
Or am I just crazy?
Or am I just crazy?
(Maybe, oh maybe just maybe)

When I cry, I only cry to myself
I’m alone; I wish I had somebody else
Oh
When I cry, I only cry to myself
I’m alone; I wish I had somebody else
Oh
When I cry, I only cry to myself
I’m alone; I wish I had somebody else

The words burst from my lips as I scream

Or am I just crazy?
(Am I crazy?)
Or am I just crazy?
(Maybe, oh maybe)
Just maybe

Maybe I’m crazy
(Save me)
Maybe I’m crazy
(Don’t forget me)
Maybe I’m crazy
(Don’t go baby no)
Maybe I’m crazy
Just maybe
Maybe

Feels So Good

Feels good
Im stranded on a spaceship hideaway
And something makes me think Im here to stay
Im so happy where I am
Feels good
Ive journeyed to the other atmospheres
And every breath I take just makes it clear
Im holding heaven in my hands
Its automatic baby and it feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
These extra-sensory sensations
Are causing me some complications
Electrostatic information
Feels good
Im playing with a pleasure trafficker
Arriving soon intergalactica
Im holding heaven in my hands
Its automatic baby and it feels good
Feels good
Feels good
Feels good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels good
Im stranded on a spaceship hideaway
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good

Forgotten Future

The forgotten future of what should have been.
It's crumbled at our feet,
gone and most certainly dead.
The mournful times I now must face.
Companionship and love without a trace.

A forgotten future that filled me with endless hope.
Now so barren and fruitless it makes me choke.
Forgotten furture where did it go?
A nuclear winter with in my black soul.

Broken hearted soul bereft.
I face this forgotten future now with death.
No other way to kill the pain.
In a forgotten future it matters not here anyway.

The forgotten future that was held so dear.
I grabed and fed for many a year.
It was my life, it was my hope.
Now it hangs me with short rope.

The end is nigh.
I need not fear,
the relief I seek is very near.
Forgotten future now grows dark.
As the memory of me will soon be marked.

Hast Thou Forgotten Me?

HAST thou forgotten me? the days are dark—
Light ebbs from heaven, and songless soars the lark—
Vexed like my heart, loud moans the unquiet sea—
Hast thou forgotten me?

Hast thou forgotten me? O dead delight
Whose dreams and memories torture me to-night—
O love—my life! O sweet—so fair to see—
Hast thou forgotten me?

Hast thou forgotten? Lo, if one should say—
Noontide were night, or night were flaming day—
Grief blinds mine eyes, I know not which it be!
Hast thou forgotten me?

Hast thou forgotten? Ah, if Death should come,
Close my sad eyes, and charm my song-bird dumb—
Tired of strange woes—my fate were hailed with glee—
Hast thou forgotten me?

Hast thou forgotten me? What joy have I?
A dim blown bird beneath an alien sky,—
O that on mighty pinions I could flee—
Hast thou forgotten me?

Hast thou forgotten? Yea, Love’s horoscope
Is blurred with tears and suffering beyond Hope—
Ah, like dead leaves forsaken of the tree,
Thou hast forgotten me.

St. Louis Villa

Citronella, Star Anise, Clove and Fennel;
Spice up my food for others to eat like,
'St. Louis Villa' at 'Nii Boi Town'.
Of the forgotten land,
Of the forgotten people,
Of the forgotten folks,
And of my forgotten friends;
Like the way of the life we have to think about,
But be very successful and healthy all year round.

The way of Cain is in you,
The error of Balaam is with you,
The rebellion of Korah is on your steps,
And to put me into remembrance is like the early bird.
Micahyah is the Malak Gadol,
And she contended with the Devil in a dispute;
But come to 'St. Louis Villa' for the feast of love.

The Forgotten i

i know how it feels to be second and not
Knowing what to do about it; and the first
one refuses to care about it.

i know how it feels being depressed inside
That small capsule with capricious un-
Happiness and hopelessness prison guards

i know how i felt riding greyhound buses unoticed
by those seated comfortably up front, white-curtains
to obscure Negroes instead of light.

i know more saints who kneel and pray
Hoping for something magica in the distance and
finding out Later or never that reality is just being.

i know how it feels to be forgotten and alone
On a stinky garbage bin eating from a can
As passer-bys cosign to oblivion.

i know how it feels being mother with
a fully matured, broken-winged bird
yet can't leave the nest.

i feel the pain of the crying womb
that month after month flower go to
Seed, die, and never to blossom.

i know how it feels remembering the
The child I 'got' but did'nt 'get'
and the deprived one could have gotten.

i know how it feels being the ignored flower growing
through the cracked sidewalk unnoticed, like
children slipping through cracked welfare system

I know about beauty, fears, joy, and loneliness;
I know about stories held, not told as signs of me;
I know that poems are evident of the obscure being…

Forgotten

Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah
I'm giving up on everything
Because you messed me up
Dont know how much you screwed it up
You never listened
Thats just to bad
Because Im movin on
I wont forget
You were the one that was wrong
I know I need to
Step up and be strong
Dont patronize me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah
Gotta get away
There's no point in thinking about yesterday
It's too late now
It wont ever be the same
We're so different now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I know I wanna run away
I know I wanna run away
Run away
If only I could run away
If only I could run away
run away
I told you what I wanted
I told you what I wanted
what I wanted
But I was forgotten
I wont be forgotten
Never again
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Do you get it now
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Have you forgotten
do you get it now
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah

The Forgotten Son(Name Revised Hopefully Viewable)

Oh exiled angel,
oh the forgotten son,
please say your not the only one.
Its a sad life of loneliness we live in.
Have you given it your all?
Sacrifice after sacrifice.
Everyone has disappeared.

Oh exiled angel,
oh forgotten son,
please say your not the only one.
Dreams are broken.
Dreams are stolen.
Still you are standing here.
Holding on.
You are only so strong.
Baring your soul time after time,
just to see it fade,
lying in the wake of all those horrible mistakes.
Only true heart break is everlasting.

Oh exiled angel,
oh forgotten son,
please say your not the only one.
Not the only one.
How can this be?
A denied destiny.
Was it too much gluttony?
Was it all those stories you told were unfounded?
A lier in dire straights.
Everything is so complicated.

Oh exiled angel,
oh forgotten son,
please say your not the only one.
Your life has just begun.
Yet its already half over.
Were picking a four leaf clover.
One by one.
The leaves are gone.
Until theirs absolutely nothingness.
The black sun is what you've become.

Oh exiled angel,
oh forgotten son,
please say your not the only one.
Are you burning on the inside?
Is fire what ignites your desire?
Burn it all,
burn it all.
These thoughts run through your head.
Sometimes you feel better off dead.
Some words are best left unsaid.
Ignorance is bliss, till you reach the end of your existence.
Then you forever wonder what you missed.
It feels like another outer body experience.

Oh exiled angel,
oh forgotten son,
please say your not the only one,
not the only one.

The Agony Of An Okada Rider

You have taken away my
means of livelihood.
My means of living confortable.

What is your gain
in my pain?
What is your fame
in my shame?

You say i take lives,
but you have forgotten how
many lifes i have saved.

You say it is a sign of poverty,
but were is the job opportunity?

You say i destroy roads,
but i can't remember seeing any
bike weighing more than a tipper.

You have forgotten how
i eradicate latenessless,
how i pass through traffic
jams without delay.

You have forgotten places
where your public transport
won't take.
Distance where human leg
would trek and ache.

You have forgotten the
helmet you gave.
You have forgotten.

Our little hope,
you have crushed,
leaving this memories
to linger on.

Now i to have to start all
over again.
From grace to grass.

Loss of Time

A forgotten time
A forgotten society
A forgotten land
A forgotten people
A time of peace
A time of war
A time of grieving
A time of celebration
A time of loss
A loss of knowledge
A loss of dignity
A loss of loved ones
A loss of sanity
A loss of peace
A beginning of a new time
A beginning of new life
A beginning of new knowledge
A beginning of new peace
A beginning of new war
Its all a cycle
From a new beginning
To loss
To a time of difference
Till it is all forgotten
And a new beginning is forged.

When Sorrow Is Forgotten

When sorrow is forgotten
the sun can finally be seen in the dusk sky of warm hues
your mind feels light and open
and your body that was once locked up in chains is free as a young eagle

When sorrow is forgotten
life presents you with the gift of love and happiness
your wings can dry from the tears that dampened them
you can finally let go and soar

The higher you fly, the lighter you feel
the weight that once kept you confined, starts to fall from your shoulders
your lungs can finally envelop the cool air
of Earth

When sorrow is forgotten
you mind can think clearly again
your body is your temple again
and your heart can finally feel again

The Low Down

Mother; remember I am small
a little over two feet tall
My view from here is limited
the shopping mall a place of dread.

Boots and shoes are all I see
as people rush impatiently.
You have forgotten how it feels
to see only toes and heels.

You hold me firmly by the hand
but I don’t think you understand
Just how it feels to be so small
and dragged around a shopping Mall.

If you ere small and couldn’t see
then you would know what frightens me.

There’s what we remember we remember
and there’s what we forget;
then there’s what we remember
that we’ve forgotten;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we used to remember;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we’ve forgotten.

There’s a poem there somewhere
now I’ve got that far.

Dammit, I’ll go for a walk
now the daffodils are out.

The Forgotten Soldier

The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Scarred for all eternity. Searching for divinity. Prayer yet to be answered. Smoking has just brought cancer. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Looking for forgiveness in all the wrong places. So many name and so many faces. An anecdotal pun he has become. A history lesson has been undone. Wars never can be won. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. In his eyes lies the blood of many. Sleepless nights of sacrifice and murder. And in the end their is no one to comfort him. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Times have changed. Now he can only wish he was flying a jet plane. Treated like dirt. Crippled and weak. And the man just turns the other cheek. The forgotten soldier. Hes getting older. Hes getting colder. Today is his birthday and he spends it in a nursing home all alone. To all he is forgotten dead and gone. But i remember, i remember all the forgotten soldiers.
