The Winds of Time

And as the
weeping
willow
stands so
gracefully.

Looking
out over
the
waters.

Appearing
to
be
calm and
reserved.

The winds
of
time
approaching.

Begins
to play
on her
heart-strings.

yet
inside
she
weeps..

The Willow Weeps

A weeping willow stands
looking out over the
waters.

gracefully bends as the
trade-winds whip through
her hair.

winter is quickly
approaching.

Icicles are forming
the days turn cold
nights are lonely.

but soon spring will
return
the weather begins to
warm.

ice starts to melt
she begins to cry
the waters flow again.

Girl Under The Weeping Willow Tree (Oasis)

Almost
Softly
touching the ground.
The weeping willow branch
gracefully bends,
calm
and peaceful.
A cascading
oasis
for the girl
nestled beneath
her branches.

Strong is the trunk
on which she leans.
Solid
and
faithful,
on that
she can
depend.

She gazes out
at the beautiful waters
of the lake
surrounding her
and a hue of orange
from the setting sun
on the waters
captures her eye.

Peace.
Strength.
Calm serenity.
Joy.
She desires
these good gifts
from the Lord.
And she knows
He is faithful.
And she smiles.

The Lonely Willow Tree

THAT LONELY WILLOW TREE

God made this Earth,
The Sun... The Air.
He placed it all
Into Man's care.

On it He placed
Flowers and trees
In beautiful colors,
Man's eyes to please.

But when He thought
His work was done,
He added this....
A tree.....Just one.

He planted here
A Willow Tree,
Where Man could pray
On bended knee.

But now when Man
Neglects to come,
He named this tree
The weeping one.

Near a stream
Where no one will be
There stands a lonely
Weeping Willow Tree.

And when you see
It's branches weep,
You know that from
God's eyes....
....................Tears do Seep.

Willow Tree

Let me be your weeping willow tree
Surround you with my long limbs
My dear, let me grow in the shade
In the sands by the bank of your river
Let I drink from your streams
The cool breeze fill my leaves
We will sing together
Water over the pebbles
And Ill be by your side forever
I wish I was a weeping willow tree
I wish I was a weeping willow tree
I wish I was a weeping willow tree
Sweet river caress how softly
Stir my searching roots
Shading the sun in the summers heat
Let I cool you
We have been dancing so long
In the winters freeze and the summers drought
We survive
We belong
Let us sing together
Water over the pebbles
And Ill be by your side forever
I wish I was your weeping willow tree
I wish I was a weeping willow tree
I wish I was a weeping willow tree
Let us sing together
Water over the pebbles
And Ill be by your side forever
Let us sing together
Water over the pebbles
And Ill be by your side forever
We can sing together
Water over the pebbles
And Ill be by your side forever
Let me be
Your willow tree
Your willow tree

The Guitar-La Guitarra

The weeping of the guitar
begins.
The goblets of dawn
are smashed.
The weeping of the guitar
begins.
Useless
to silence it.
Impossible
to silence it.
It weeps monotonously
as water weeps
as the wind weeps
over snowfields.
Impossible
to silence it.
It weeps for distant
things.
Hot southern sands
yearning for white camellias.
Weeps arrow without target
evening without morning
and the first dead bird
on the branch.
Oh, guitar!
Heart mortally wounded
by five swords.

---------------------------------- -------------

Empieza el llanto
de la guitarra.
Se rompen las copas
de la madrugada.
Empieza el llanto
de la guitarra.
Es inútil
callarla.
Es imposible
callarla.
Llora monótona
como llora el agua,
como llora el viento
sobre la nevada.
Es imposible
callarla.
Llora por cosas
lejanas.
Arena del Sur caliente
que pide camelias blancas.
Llora flecha sin blanco,
la tarde sin mañana,
y el primer pájaro muerto
sobre la rama.
¡Oh guitarra!
Corazón malherido
por cinco espadas.

This Old Heart Of Mine

Sylvia moy, brian holland, edward holland, jr. and lamont dozier
Oh, this old heart of mine
Been broke a thousand times
Each time you break away
I feel you're gonna stay
Lonely nights that come
Memories that flow
Bringing you back again
Hurting me more and more
Maybe it's my mistake to show this love i feel inside
Cause each day that passes by
You got me never knowing if i'm coming or going, but i
I love you
This old heart darling (darling) weeps for you
I love you, yes i do (yes i do)
These old arms of mine
Miss having you around
Makes these tears inside
Start falling down, well
Always with half a kiss
You remind me of what i miss
So i try to control myself
Like i'm gonna start fainting cause my heart stops beating, cause i
I love you
This old heart darling weeps for you (weeps for you)
I love you, yes i do (yes i do)
Oh i try to hide my hurt inside
This old heart of mine always makes me cry
The way you trat me leaves me incomplete
You're in for the day, gone for the week, now
But if you leave me a hundred times
A hundred times i'll take you back
I'm yours whenever you want me
I'm not too proud to shout it
To tell the world about it, cause i
I love you
This old heart darling (darling) weeps for you
I love you
This old heart darling weeps for you (weeps for you)
I love you
This old heart darling (darling) weeps for you
I love you, yes i do (yes i do)

Inside Beauty

It's not in the mirror
Or on the outside
For you to see
It's in the inside and
It's visible for all to see
It doesn't matter,
How pretty you are
Because inside beauty
Is only skin deep
It's beneath layers
Of skin muscle and bone
It stands alone
It's all you need
Not name brand clothes
The inside makes you
Yeah it's true
The heart, lungs, and brain
Are all inside of you
There are other important parts too
When the body begins to age
It isn't just
Looks that fade
A body begins to wrinkle
It looks different to people
Inside beauty never fades
If it changes with age
It gets better with time
Like a fine wine or like
A valuable painting's worth
There's nothing like it
On the planet earth

While My Guitar Gently Weeps...

It's hard to tell how many regrets my heart keeps,

After the scars of my heart I see.

Eyes fall short of tears to cry,

While my guitar gently weeps...

When my present turns back and into the past it peeps,

Delightful memories flood in with a sweet pain.

All the anguish comes out through the strings,

While my guitar gently weeps...

As the nostalgia
on my broken heart creeps,

I curse myself for my blunders.

Nobody can ever hear my heart sob,

While my guitar gently weeps...

It is so unfair that the whole world peacefully sleeps,

And has faithful people to care.

But I have nobody to console me,

While my guitar gently weeps...

With Dignity, In Stillness...

if the time has come,
then let it be done,
with dignity, in stillness.
that rare moment
when the bird flies from the cage,
is not the time for weeping.
does the river mourn
when it breaks through the dam?
does the storm apologize for passion?
then who are we to cling to dust,
to darkness as dawn approaches?

the leaf turns
in a fury of color..
for just a moment,
then brown, and falls.
the tree stands still in respect,
and begins the time of waiting.
the first snow comes,
the winds howl, never grieving...
for there comes a time,
when the womb is split,
a time of new life, and beginning!

Willow Weep For Me

(1932) ann ronell
Willow weep for me, willow weep for me,
Bend your branches green along the stream that runs to sea,
Listen to my plea, listen willow weep for me,
Gone my lovers dream, lovely summer dream,
Gone and left me here to weep my tears into the stream,
Sad as I can be - hear me willow and weep for me.
Whisper to the wind to say that love has sinned
To leave my heart aching and making this moan,
Murmur to the night to hide her starry light,
So none will find me sighing and crying all alone,
Weeping willow tree, weep in sympathy,
Bend your branches down along the ground and cover me,
When the shadows fall, bend oh willow and weep for me.
To leave my heart aching and making this moan,
So none will find me sighing and crying all alone,
Weeping willow tree, weep in sympathy,
Bend your branches down along the ground and cover me,
When the shadows fall, bend oh willow,
Bend oh willow and weep for me.

The Cool Living Waters

the cool living waters of spring
plunge in like a hot rod wanting pacification
flames of fire
cinders of desire
let us be calm and swim in the cool living waters
of divinity

nude we realize there is shame and we stand
and take the clothes of morality
then we rest under the cool shades of green trees
beside the brook
the winds from the mountains refresh what dimples we have
and we reflect upon the words of God

time moves and stays a while and this evil of boredom comes
idle moments craving for more
and then we stand and play under the sun
we run, we play, we sweat and those that watch us
begin to think
that we are sinners on the loose

cool living waters i ask
bathe and wash all their dirty minds

Meet Me In The Indian Summer

(Van Morrison)
Well don't you know
How much I love you
Don't you know
How much I care
It's beyond my comprehension
'Cos I love you on the square
It's not bound by any definition
It isn't written in the stars
It's not limited like Saturn
Isn't ruled by Mercury or Mars
Oh won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
Where we'll go walking
Down by the weeping willow tree
Won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
We'll go walking to eternity
It's not modelled by convention
It isn't worshipped like the sun
It's not likened unto any other
And it will never come undone
Well don't you know
That my world is so lonely
Just like a freight train in the dawn
That's why I need to
Have and hold you
Just to keep me from going wrong
Oh won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
We'll go walking
By the weeping willow tree
Won't you meet me Lord
In the Indian summer
We'll go walking to eternity
Won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
Well before
Those chilly winds do blow
Won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
Take me way back
To what I know
Oh won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
We'll go walking
By the weeping willow tree
Oh won't you meet me
In the Indian summer
We'll go walking to eternity

Little Willow

Bend, little willow
Winds gonna blow you
Hard and cold tonight
Life, as it happens
Nobody warns you
Willow, hold on tight.
Nothings gonna shake your love
Take your love away
No ones out to break your heart
It only seems that way...hey
Sleep little willow
Peace gonna follow
Times gonna heal your wounds
Grow to the heavens
Now and forever
Always came too soon.
Little willow
Nothings gonna shake your love
Take your love away
No ones out to break your heart
It only seems that way...hey
Bend, little willow
Winds gonna blow you
Hard and cold tonight
Life, as it happens
Nobody warns you
Willow, hold on tight.
Ahhh, little willow
Little willow

As It Goes For The Willow

As it goes for the willow,
Stretching to bend as the wind begins...
To stop and end briefly,
The humidity and heat.
And moss on scattered trees,
Seen in savannahs tropical and green...
Seem so picturesque as if painted.

As it goes for those swamped in bills to pay...
In need of a lilting breeze to come their way.
A nature walk through the forest,
Will take a mind away to untaint...
From needless trappings of concrete beliefs,
Stuck in the mire of an attracted grief,
One uses to declare...
A normal way of life to live!

As it goes for the willow,
Flowing freely yet attached to all that is...
Without appearing to have needs to be,
Something it was not intended.

Willow, Willow, Willow

A poore soule sat sighing under a sicamore tree;
O willow, willow, willow!
With his hand on his bosom, his head on his knee:
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland.

He sigh'd in his singing, and after each grone,
Come willow, willow, willow!
Come willow, willow, willow!
'I am dead to all pleasure, my true-love is gone.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be may garland.

'My love she is turned; untrue she doth prove;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
She renders me nothing but hate for my love.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the grene willow, &c.

'O pitty me' (cried he), 'ye lovers each one;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Her heart's hard as marble; she rues not my mone.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.'

The cold streams ran by him, his eyes wept apace;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
The salt tears fell from him, which drowned his face.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

The mute birds sate by him, made tame by his mones;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
The salt tears fell from him, which softened the stones.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland!

'Let nobody blame me, her scornes I do prove;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
She was borne to be faire; I, to die for her love.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'O that beauty should harbour a heart that's so hard!
Sing willow, willow, willow!
Sing willow, willow, willow!
My true love rejecting without all regard.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'Let love no more boast him in palace or bower;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
For women are trothles, and flote in an houre.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'But what helps complaining? In vaine I complaine:
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
I must patiently suffer her scorne and disdaine.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'Come, all you forsaken, and sit down by me,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
He that 'plaines of his false love, mine's falser than she.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'The willow wreath weare I, since my love did fleet;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
A garland for lovers forsaken most meete.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland!'

Part the Second

'Lowe lay'd by my sorrow, begot by disdaine,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Against her too cruell, still, still I complaine.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland!

'O love too injurious, to wound my poore heart,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
To suffer the triumph, and joy in my smart!
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'O willow, willow, willow! the willow garland,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
A sign of her falsenesse before me doth stand.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland.

'As here it doth bid to despair and to dye,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
So hang it, friends, ore me in grave where I lye.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'In grave where I rest mee, hang this to the view,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Of all that doe knowe her, to blaze her untrue.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'With these words engraven, as epitaph meet,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
'Here lyes one, drank poyson for potion most sweet.'
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'Though she thus unkindly hath scorned my love,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
And carelessly smiles at the sorrowes I prove;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'I cannot against her unkindly exclaim,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Cause once well I loved her, and honoured her name.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland.

'The name of her sounded so sweete in mine eare,
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
It rays'd my heart lightly, the name of my deare;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'As then 'twas my comfort, it now is my griefe;
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
It now brings me anguish; then brought me reliefe.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow, &c.

'Farewell, faire false-hearted, plaints end with my breath!
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Thou dost loath me, I love thee, though cause of my death.
O willow, willow, willow!
O willow, willow, willow!
Sing, O the greene willow shall be my garland.'

Weeping Willow

When morning breaks
When morning breaks
We hide our eyes and our loves aching
We hide our eyes and our loves aching
Nothings strange
Nothings strange
It was in our hands from 6 to 10
It slipped right out again
It was in our hands from 6 to 10
It slipped right out again
Therell be no better time
Therell be no better way
Therell be no better day to save me
Therell be no better time
Save me
Therell be no better way
Yeah, save me
Therell be no better day to save me
Save me
I hope you see like I see
Yeah, save me
I hope you see what I see
I hope you feel like I feel
I hope you see like I see
And the world dont stop
I hope you see what I see
There is no time for cracking up
I hope you feel like I feel
Believe me friend
cause when freedom comes
Ill be long gone
And the world dont stop
You know it has to end
There is no time for cracking up
Believe me friend
Therell be no better time
cause when freedom comes
Therell be no better way
Ill be long gone
Therell be no better day to save me
You know it has to end
Save me
Yeah, save me
Yeah, save me
Therell be no better time
I hope you see what I see
Therell be no better way
I hope you feel like I feel
Therell be no better day to save me
Someone to stand beside me
Save me
Beside me
Yeah, save me
Beside me
Yeah, save me
Beside me
I hope you see what I see
Beside me
I hope you feel like I feel
Someone to stand beside me
Weeping willow
Beside me
The pills under my pillow
Beside me
Weeping willow
Beside me
Pills under my pillow
Beside me
Weeping willow
The gun under your pillow
Weeping willow
Weeping willow
Beside me
The pills under my pillow
Beside me
Weeping willow
Beside me
Pills under my pillow
Beside me
Weeping willow
The gun under your pillow
Weeping willow

The willow

How beautiful is the willow in April gown
Delicate and gleaming under the sun
Never minding the seasons and years gone
It stands, long flowery drippings and soft wind sigh

Spring does not call me as it use to
With sprouts in vast meadows and balmy flowers of variety hues
No more shall I renew myself with the world every spring
With heavy leafy boughs crowded with birds in sing

Willow, Willow sway, twinkle, lull in the sun
Your leaves, same leaves of my past days gone
Welcome me as the spring use to in wild laugh and fun
Oh let me answer the spring again for my days are still undone

Weeping Willow

Weeping willow why do you cry
Why don't your branches touch the sky
They touch the ground
And without a sound
A tear escapes your eye
The sky grows dark as the storm clouds near
But do not worry have no fear
The storm will pass
This will not last
And I will still be here
So weeping willow do not cry
Let your barnches touch the sky
Don't let them sag
Don't let them drag
And release a silky sigh

The Willow Tree

Around the willow tree
Sounds of life rang through the air
It felt like home to me.

Home, where I was not.
But this willow tree comforted me,
And so I forgot.

This tree was part of me.
It's limbs swaying so gracefully
A lovely thing to see.

But now I am back home.
And I think about the willow tree
Standing all alone.

Home, where I'm glad to be.
But often I still find myself
Longing for that tree.
