We stood in silence
words were not being uttered
each one understood.

Crystal Pools
As I gazed into large
glowing eyes
clear as crystal
shining like diamonds.
I was caught off guard
my protective shield
was down
for a time I was lost
in their beauty
swallowed up in the
moment.
Opaque pools of water
inticed me
I wanted to wade in
feel splashing
around my ankles.
Get wet, be taught to
swim in those waters
know all of their
mysteries
become familiar with
them.
We stood in silence
not a word was uttered
I understood, they
understood.
I had been caught in
their clutch
my guard is up now
my shield has been
repaired.
crystal pools only
happen
once in a life time.

Let Them There Stood
Let them there stood
Even not understood
Let your words untold
Ban them harming other's world
Let them ebbed with the innocence of childhood
May they behold
The grace of my lord
But when they'll cause
Hearts to be destroied
Let them there stood
Embrace your anger within
May it'll stay jailed in
Let your words unsaid
Untold
Silent
There at the peace let them silenced
Those words were worsened when they were melted with anger
They're now like poisoning animal's hunger
Whose reason never will be understood
Even after braking hearts
Those your heart loves the most
So let them inside your heart silently stood.
Untold
Silent......

Silence
Silence in the language
Is the absence of speech
Silence in the conversation
Can be so remarkable and rich.
Silence is an atmosphere you make
And it's the situation you break.
Sometimes it tells you more
Than thousand words told before.
Silence is a feeling
Which is very intensive
Poorly created
It can be very offensive.
Silence can be so different
It has a lot of meanings
It's an expression of yourself
It shows your feelings.
There is a silence
That brings you peace
And you feel yourself
Being at your ease.
There is a silence of mystery
Like being in a dark wood.
There is a silence of happiness
When you are loved and understood.
There is a silence that frightens
There is a silence of anniversary dates
This silence reminds you
Of those lost fates.
There is a silence in music
When you listen to it and dream
But...suddenly...it stops.
Then...the sounds come to their extreme.
The prayer in silence
Is your inner world
When you dream in silence
You are just not heard.
Silence is golden
Or so I've heard
But it sometimes hurts more
Than a single told word.
Silence is golden
Or so goes a lie.
This silence of fraud
Do not need a reply.
Silence when you are in love
You do not need words.
Silence when you are fooled
You don't know what to say afterwards.
But...the best moment of silence
When you take my hand
I know you do not pretend
You just look at my eyes and I realize:
It's love, it's happiness.

The Hands Of A Teacher
Optimism,
Optimism perished from the face of my earth
And then you came along, came along and swept me away,
She kissed me, as we stood on the edge,
The night made the day as we made for the bridge
It started raining hard, and I saw we may live to regret
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
Pessimism,
Pessimism perished from the face of my earth,
And then you came along, came along and swept me away,
Did you miss me? did you miss me as we walked
Through the pain, attached the chain so you could
See me again
I started asking myself, did I teach you right?
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
Understood why...
You came to me, you broke the bonds,
You set me free
And then the love that you promised me
Came a tumblin tumblin tumblin down
Into my hands...
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
So teacher teach me...

From Distance: The Moon
I am not looking for words
to talk on my behalf;
instead,
I choose silence.
If I can express my silence in words
I would stop at this line.
Silence
is a remedy
for ill words
until
words become a sea of silence
and the sea waves migrate to the surface
of the moon.

The whole problem with news on television comes down to this: all the words uttered in an hour of news coverage could be printed on page of a newspaper. And the world cannot be understood in one page.

To My Silent Sufferer....
to make me love you more
i strain this evolving relationship with
actually unnecessary
separations, ... remember my trips alone in the big city?
how i dislike a big empty bed that makes me feel in in a highway
riding in a small car,
i bleed of course like a cactus,
but soon the noonday sun knows how to dry the juicy cut
and comfort me with a tiny scar
hidden by my thorns,
i heard nothing from you, you keep secrets to yourself,
and you have become so beautiful to myself,
how i wish that i can be back in the place of my youth where i will miss
no one, when i can dive in the river naked, and without any malice to
anyone who sees me
i have uttered so many words, and written this experience in a journal,
and you continue with that silence,
that silence in suffering wanting nothing in return for the love that
you have always given
like clouds making rain, like seas faithfully making waves
like words always there to the picking of the tongue
my silent sufferer, i love you more,
i suffer in the countless words that i am saying
in such way, that i begin to doubt everything,
this silence that i surrender, this loss that i have trusted to the
company of words,
at night, i wish upon a meteor that all my thorns be gone.

Silence 1.
Most times when I'm hurt,
My silence speaks for me.
She speaks very loud;
Even louder than a megaphone.
I choose to be silent, -
When most things happen,
Not because I cannot speak;
Nor that my words have evaded me,
But because in my silence-
There's a challenging power.
Sometimes in my fears,
When my heart is filled with love,
And my eyes with tears;
I learn to love, just like a dove.
My mouth moves to speak,
But is suddenly cut short by silence,
Silence in love, silence in fear.
Silence in tears, silence in joy;
And when I'm in this mood,
My silence stands so tall-
Even taller than a giant;
She makes her way; -
Even more than spoken words.
Spoken words of loud emotions,
They meet my silence-
And they tremble in awe.
I could hear those words;
They say to themselves,
'How art silence so mighty? '.

Silence Came After Days Of Struggle With Words
SILENCE CAME AFTER DAYS OF STRUGGLE WITH WORDS
Silence came after days of struggle with words
After many awkward failures
Out of the understanding
That nothing more could be done.
Silence came of exhaustion and emptiness and defeat
Not the beautiful silence we love
But the silence of desperation.
Silence came and made me look at my lines
With discomfort and dissatisfaction.
I break the silence now
Without any assurance whatsoever
That I should.

A watching her go
I stood motionless watching her go
She knocked me off with word no
The words were not hers as it flew
The wind stopped for a while and I knew
It may flow from now on in different direction
We may go far off and have no reaction
It was not at all parting gift as her eyes glittered
I stood there but completely shattered
She wanted to exchange words but only murmured
I could not guess what she uttered
Her stand was clear and not altered
At no stage she had ever faltered
I could guess some raging struggle in her mind
It was very difficult to guess and find
She was by heart very good and decent
I thought she was for me and heavenly sent
She had called me to see in person
I guessed she had lot many reasons
The wind was not flowing in her favor
She had grasped it as an edge of razor
She was far more resolute than weak
She was firm but could not speak
She was forced upon to desert
She could never agree to any words or insert
It all happened in friction of seconds
She stood the as calm water of ponds
No sound of any kind whatsoever
She had dreamed of owning me forever
Can you imagine I was struck dumbfounded?
As if some culprits were searched and rounded
I was to be handcuffed and sent to cell
Nothing seemed to be gong nice and well
She had last words for me to remember
She was no more going to be part or member
I had to leave her for common good
She wanted me to know where I stood
“Life would be hell without you”
“This is written on wall and very true”
I pleaded her not to think much on those lines
They were making me insane without taking wines
I shall be sunk and go to nuts
There may be many questions with ifs and buts
Where will I stand in public eye?
Why you want to say permanent bye?
My silence broke with her steps going away
She had chosen her best way
I will not blame her for anything she did
I had certainly failed to find the lid
“Come what may” I may not obstruct
I decided not to meet her or instruct
The destiny is not in our hands as called fate
It is better to have come early than very late

Savoring The Silence Of Privacy
actually we learn more
from ourselves by not talking much
words are assuming
the sounds of rain
sometimes unnecessary thunder
everything still
like quite quiet
words become to crowded
on such a limited space
words that are meant not
to be uttered
because they are too precious
in our privacy
not to be shared
and we learn more from this
respect for stillness
for the poplar state
no wonder how God has not
put mouths to this earth
which when it speaks
shows its tongue in tsunamis
its screams in volcanic eruptions
its fears in quakes
i am studying in my lifetime
the art of silence
the beauty of words unspoken
on my lips
are embroidered tendrils
of climbing
morning glories
on the trellis of my mind

God Loves Silence
I paint a picture in my thoughts
My thinking is my canvas
My easle is made of words
I choose the words in silence
Silence is my companion
It never lets me down
Silence is the my safe haven
Helps me to value my inner self
Hear the footsteps of wisdom
When silence controls my mind
I understand his supreme commands
As God loves silence

My Name Is Silence
when i introduced
my name to you
i know i have violated
the code of my
ancestors
i know i have disobeyed
the command of my
father
because silence
cannot be uttered
and uttering it
simply negates its
essence
when you write about
silence
the word begins to
shout
and silence runs away
losing itself
like light blending
with light and then
what you see
is nothing
but itself in invisibility
hiding in its own body

The Poet’s Hat
The rain had fallen, the Poet arose,
He passed through the doorway into the street,
A strong wind lifted his hat from his head,
And he uttered some words that were far from sweet.
And then he started to follow the chase,
And put on a spurt that was wild and fleet,
It made the people pause in a crowd,
And lay odds as to which would beat.
The street cad scoffed as he hunted the hat,
The errand-boy shouted hooray!
The scavenger stood with his broom in his hand,
And smiled in a very rude way;
And the clergyman thought, 'I have heard many words,
But never, until to-day,
Did I hear any words that were quite so bad
As I heard that young man say.'

The Sounds Of Birds
It's in the chirps-the sounds of birds,
As though repeating your oft uttered words:
Seen everywhere I could gather thought-
To truly love, without bound, you have taught!
The words come to me in dream and whilst awake,
Each time I do hear, away again my breath it does take-
My purpose in my life, defined by feelings mutual-
Ne'er has there been more need for sentiment perpetual! !
Words still are only just that, meaning naught without more,
Actions in keeping with pathos do bespeak amity's core!
Alas, not able are we to belie-
Nor, to fully answer the query-why? !
Every bird's song you shall hear, from now, uttered,
Be sure can you that my heart again has fluttered!

The Human Mouth
The human mouth is great,
When sacred be the words,
That issue forth from heart,
To change a man’s sad fate!
But, none really know,
What uncouth words come out;
Unpredictable’s the mouth,
Of evil men/ women.
The scene determines words!
And words can do magic;
The face may lag behind,
The uttered words, sometimes.
Yet, words may do damage,
That ne’er can be undone;
Then, seal your lips and see,
Much harm can elude us!

The language of love
The dialogues that love broke the silence with
Like the roses that grew on mountains
With the salt from the winter sky
The unabashed soliloquy, even in monologues
They grew noisy like bees,
The string of words tied to my tongue
They mutter an odd dialect of love,
The grammar of silence was hideous
How could you bear something like that?
the language of silence I understood not
It wrote in whispers and spoke in empty pages
Lulled to sleep by the barrage of lyrics
Even the poems looked liked slangs
Just then, at that very second
I remembered silence is just a figure of speech,
And dear when of love we speak
With tongues savoring every move
The eyes measuring, the ears leaning
The eternal night singing
The language of love is after all
The silence
That meanders within…………….

Silence Echos
Silence
makes my heart break
Silence
Love, does not make
Silence
Was it all just a terrible mistake?
Silence
Was love just a game, just fake?
Silence
Leaves me heartbroken
Silence
Kills he feeling behind words unspoken
Silence
has is a shield you hide behind
Silence
Guards what's on your mind
Silence
Chills your heart's sound
Silence
Love cannot silently be found
Silence
has turned your dreams blind
Silence
is darkness in which you cannot find
Silence
Crushes the hopeful feelings that were kind
Silence
Of emptiness it did remind
Silence
Silence took all I sought to find
Silence
Silence was hurtful and unkind
Silence
Will kill love before it ripens on the vine
Love will go silently
But it's lonely hurt will echo for all time

Silence...
I wanted to talk,
but don't know what to say
Silence...
I got nervous,
and looked away.
Silence...
I read what you wrote,
but can't put my reaction into words
Silence...
My inability to speak,
sometimes it hurts
Silence...
I didn't want you
to misunderstand what I said
Silence...
So I kept quiet,
lest our faces turn red
Silence...
