A watching her go

I stood motionless watching her go
She knocked me off with word no
The words were not hers as it flew
The wind stopped for a while and I knew

It may flow from now on in different direction
We may go far off and have no reaction
It was not at all parting gift as her eyes glittered
I stood there but completely shattered

She wanted to exchange words but only murmured
I could not guess what she uttered
Her stand was clear and not altered
At no stage she had ever faltered

I could guess some raging struggle in her mind
It was very difficult to guess and find
She was by heart very good and decent
I thought she was for me and heavenly sent

She had called me to see in person
I guessed she had lot many reasons
The wind was not flowing in her favor
She had grasped it as an edge of razor

She was far more resolute than weak
She was firm but could not speak
She was forced upon to desert
She could never agree to any words or insert

It all happened in friction of seconds
She stood the as calm water of ponds
No sound of any kind whatsoever
She had dreamed of owning me forever

Can you imagine I was struck dumbfounded?
As if some culprits were searched and rounded
I was to be handcuffed and sent to cell
Nothing seemed to be gong nice and well

She had last words for me to remember
She was no more going to be part or member
I had to leave her for common good
She wanted me to know where I stood

“Life would be hell without you”
“This is written on wall and very true”
I pleaded her not to think much on those lines
They were making me insane without taking wines

I shall be sunk and go to nuts
There may be many questions with ifs and buts
Where will I stand in public eye?
Why you want to say permanent bye?

My silence broke with her steps going away
She had chosen her best way
I will not blame her for anything she did
I had certainly failed to find the lid

“Come what may” I may not obstruct
I decided not to meet her or instruct
The destiny is not in our hands as called fate
It is better to have come early than very late

Am unable to understand

Unseen should be seen
I am eager and keen
So far where have you been?
You are symbol of queen

I have adored and admired
I feel exhausted and tired
An end of road seems difficult
Despite earnest efforts still no result

I tried o probe your mind
I failed to understand and find
You were there symbol of love and very kind
You were unsure yourself and did rescind

You loved to be seen around
The joy and happiness always found
It perfectly matched and looked sound
It was gaining momentum and held the ground

All of sudden you preferred to disappear
Left me alone to live with agony and to bear
I wished some sweet words from her to hear
She stood all the times to me very dear

That did not happen as miracle
It was difficult moment or cycle
I couldn’t guess or believe
It added to tension but not relieved

It gave me little insight to guess
She appeared very beautiful in dress
She stood as symbol of love and peace
I had no control over feelings to release

It is saddest ever unforgettable moment
I was not in position to comment
The air too stopped its cool movement
I stood motionless to offer any vent

Love is inseparable part of life and must stay
It must rule over heart and have clear say
No one can or must break it for any reason
It is sign of good human and as nice person

I was for sure that it may find suitable answer
Not all may be lucky to enjoy it however
I had no reservation to seek few favor
It was her choice to show discomfort and disfavor

She had preference and own reason to remain in oblivion
It was my turn now to go back seek place in pavilion
The race was over and result was openly known
It was well judged move and decision of her own

The love birds fly together to find new nests to seek refuge
They may lay eggs and allow no one to come near by or refuse
It is strong zeal to stay together for any times to come
Life is to be spent in happiness when they come back home

I don’t want to think about the mystery that how it did take place
I had unbearable pain that no body could take it away or replace
I may have to suffer it whole life with not a single word to utter
I will have to keep it in strong heart wall and the shutter

Magic in different style

She is on screen and just few inches away
Spelling magic in different style al the way
I sink with all happiness in a day
She is simply wonderful and standing at bay

I might have not taken note of her
If she was just normal and had nothing to offer
But here she stood exceptionally in unique position
All smiles in one direction to raise lot many questions

I slipped into past history of ancient era
Where even saint had lost concentration
I thought of my being as poor human being
She was there for all praise from me as king

I am aware of natural beauty in person
Some are looked nice with many reasons
But here she stood as marvelous art
All body parts engraved from marble parts

She laughed at when I praised with words
This was just excuse for looking forward
I failed to grasp her mood in time
Shivered within and crumbled sometimes

"Will you be my perfect man" she uttered
The situation was now fully altered
The whole scene was slipping away from my grip
I thought I may fall down on earth for early sleep

It happens sometimes when unusual things happen
Your minds runs faster and sometimes sharpen
So many things shape up there after even
As such things are taking place all of sudden

I am elated at the words spoken
I thought about them as token
But no, she was serious enough to accept
Me as her dream man in mind and to be kept

I am lucky person to find a beauty with brain
Even though to find a beautiful lady is not my aim
She must be as natural as possible
To stay for ever without crating any troubles

I Stood At The Edge Of A New World With My Words

I STOOD AT THE EDGE OF A NEW WORLD WITH MY WORDS

I stood at the edge of a new world with my words
And I set out into the distance of saying
The promised land called me
And I knew I would touch it somehow
But years went by
And all the lights in the distance receded
And I remained dreaming and dreaming and dreaming
And too old just to dream.

Will I fight my way out?
Will I find my will again?
Will I be a person once more?

The new day opens
Let's see what I can do with it.

Guess (should i ever give the girl i love this., ,)

Guess....
Just guess.. they're 3 words thats it, not too hard
really just 3 words my dear
you have to figure them out right here
allow me to get close....close...
closer to you before i am taken by comatose,
let me lean in and whisper my 3 words to you
the 3 words i hope you know them too
one guess and one guess only, as i
tickle and tease you, galvanize your imagination so far as to fly
can you share my joy?
maybe you will share my joy after you guess, this isn't a decoy
I'm not running, I'm honest allow me to caress
you and fondle with your hair but guess
just 3 words,3 magic ones, last hint...closer..magic... heres the spell
it changes you and me to us, now you should know quite well
guess those magic words as i lean in close.... just three...magic..three...
as you stand here right next to me
come I'll whisper them to you
but first just guess and I will guess your next words too
3 magic words, , , , closer just three to change my story
this will fill those lines and change my life as i tickle you
and tease you, , ,3 words guess i ask you answer in four
let me caress you let me be close.... guess the words

It's just a pen.

In battle zone I met a man, all rags and face of pain
I stopped awhile and spoke his tongue, he never gave his name,
'What ails you sir i spoke with zest how does life treat you so?
Your face unshaven clothes all torn and nowhere left to go, '

He spoke in softest tone on life, surprised at what I'd said,
'I have but words to tell my tale a writer born and bred,
I dared to speak of right and wrong and stood for all that's right,
I spoke of men and guns and wars and warned all those who'd fight'.

'Then lines of soldiers past my way and threw me to the floor
They tore my clothes and spat at me and cursed my writing more,
I was chained and maniculed, imprisoned for such views,
By men who yearn to kill and maim, we few who spread such news'.

'So there i sat in prison cell, words came to my salvation,
My mind still active full of thoughts on how to save this nation,
Then time passed onwards, shooting stopped outside the silence came,
A key then heard in cell door lock saw freedom once again'.

The writer glanced from where he lay one eye cocked to the sun
The warmth engulfed his tired limbs, from beatings he was numb,
'The truth i chant in verse and rhyme for all to choke and eat,
Such words not welcome hereabouts thrown down at general's feet '.

'I stood alone and faced the crowds with words my only gun
Above the cries of blood and hate their hearts i thought i'd won
But little did i guess you see how ignorance can spread,
And that my words were such a threat that they should want me dead'.

I helped the writer to his feet his frame so weak and frail
A consequence of standing firm whilst locked away in jail
'One thing' said i 'before you leave, pray tell what drives you then? '
Without a second thought he smiled and whispered '.. it's my pen'

The Marvelous Toy

When I was just a wee little lad, full of health and joy
My father homeward came one night and gave to me a toy.
A wonder to behold it was with many colors bright
And the moment I laid eyes on it, it became my hearts delight.
It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped whirrrrr when it stood
Still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.
The first time that I picked it up I had a big surprise.
For right on its bottom were two big buttons that looked like big green eyes.
I first pushed one and then the other, then I twisted its lid.
And when I set it down again, this is what it did.
It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped whirrrrr when it stood still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.
It first marched left and then marched right, then marched under a chair
And when I looked where it had gone it wasnt even there.
I started to cry but my daddy laughed cause he knew that I would find.
When I turned around my marvelous toy would be chugging from behind.
It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped and whirrrrr when it stood
Still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.
The years have gone by too quickly it seems, I have my own little boy.
And yesterday I gave to him my marvelous little toy
His eyes nearly popped right out of his head and he gave a squeal of glee...
Neither one of us knows just what it is but he loves it just like me.
It still goes zip when it moves and bop when it stops, whirrrrr when it
Stands still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.

Over The Falls

They broke out in laughter again,
His lip beaded with sweat as they strapped him in,
And he stood by and waited to be called.
The talk was of times that had gone by
And the quantity and quality of women they lie.
His eyes welled with wet and his mouth had gone dry.
As he stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited like the others before
For his turn to go over the falls.
He got up and tried it again.
For lack of persistence is surely a sin.
As he stood by and waited to be called,
He looked to the lightning with glee
And admired his vessel for its symmetry,
Feeling twelve units shy of a bachelors degree.
As he stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited like the others before
For his turn to go over the falls.

Cowardice Stand

It is not good to have cowardice stand
Not all foes can be called future friend
They must be shown their right place
As life is just open for all to win the race

No one decides our destiny
It may be claimed by many
But keep them at arm’s length
Show them your resolve and real strength

How can they be right?
When you have will power to fight
You can sail through any storm
When wind is in favor and sun very warm

Age may play its role and so the nature
We have the key and have to make it sure
What can be fate tomorrow is anybody’s guess
Get prepared for it and express readiness in any case

The idea must be conceived from the very start
This is one of the beautiful gift or art
Every individual is gifted with it by almighty
Only it must be shown with confidence and ability

There has to be no letting in at any stage
New words are to be written on every page
Each page must speak of its own story
There is no scope to feel later on sorry

Confirm that you are individual
Your approach may be casual
But you are not lost soul
You might have committed fowl

Sorry To A Friend

Sittin on the edge
Looking for songs in a bottle
Talking with strangers who dont know my pain
Blurry eyed and burned out
Choking on more than I can swallow
Crack in a little voice called out my name
She said ~ whatever happened to you,
Its been two years where have you been.
And I guess all my fears were true
The words were all gone the times been too long.
But I deserve to know what happened to my friend
Staring in her face, I see a past that still haunts me
The road where we split up is paved with the things I didnt say
We had wonderful times, but terrible timing
Now just leave her alone, Ill just be in the way
She said whatever happened to you
You took the cowards way out again
And I guess all my fears were true
The words are all gone, the times been too long
But its not too late to say Im sorry to a friend
Im sorry to a friend. sorry to a friend
Like a stone in a stream
Life smoothes all our edges
til we barely make a ripple any more
But those times in my life will live with me forever
But were not the same people that we were before
And Im sorry for the smiles we missed and the times that I blew it
Ive got so much to tell you I dont know where to start
Maybe Ill find a way maybe youll help me do it
cause friends like us should not be apart
And Im sorry to a friend
Well now Im sorry

Misconception

Hmm I just called to hear your voice
Can’t hear what you’re saying (because) you’re drowned by the background noise
What? Huh? I can’t hear you speak up a little louder
Damn! Can you hear me now? Is that better?
I called to confess feelings of love for you
But as time goes by our words became few
Now you ain’t saying nothing
Got me here wondering if I’m annoying
Hey I’m out so I guess this is good-bye
No baby way u going or why…
Hmmm all you said was ‘Alright’
I mean what am I suppose to do
Afterwards, then send me a text ‘love you’
I guess that makes everything crystal blue
‘Lost in time, time in you’
We all need our spaces
Trying to figure out all these phases
It’s too much my memory can’t take this
Sitting here trying to erase shit
Misconception is what I’m speaking about
Can’t say what I think can’t think what I’ll do
I’m here clustered with doubts
I mean ‘love you’ that’s all you can say beau
Now my thoughts are going in a different direction
Making sentence from these words compilation
Hoping for no misinterpretations
Looking for misconceptions so I can make my corrections
I called to have a good time
Enjoy the feeling that you are mine
It didn’t happen so I’ll take my leave I hope I wasn’t annoying you
I left because I wasn’t getting what I wanted out of you
Enjoy your day … and oh yeah I love you to.

Drifter

It's hard to believe
You could be such a disease
I cannot longer seperate
What is real hope that fate will find me safe
All my reflections laugh at me
You made me hide my name
It jsut feels bad to say
That there will be another day
What you wanted was impossible to define
The words I hear are of scrambled letters
Guess it's been there for years
Never let me know, I was alright
What you wanted is a mystery to me
The words I hear are of scrambled letters
Guess it's been there for years
Never let me know, I was alright
Building a room without doors
Is this the last of me?
Wring the rag for the last few drops
Falling into infinity
What you wanted was impossible to define
The words I hear are of scrambled letters
Guess it's been there for years
Never let me know, I was alright
What you wanted is a mystery to me
The words I hear are of scrambled letters
Guess it's been there for years
Never let me know, I was alright

Not Afraid

I am not afraid of being judged
I am not scared even if misjudged
What makes me little vulnerable?
My misconduct and future troubles

Why my actions should be noted?
When moral is completely shaken and floated
I am as good as any ordinary fly
Who has nothing at stake to try?

What else I did not attempt at?
All follies committed and yet
Prayed and portrayed as nice and humble
Why did not I fell down and crumble?

I did what others might have done hiding
Yet I made it known it without kidding
I would not be successful if not fall in line
People will throw me out and side line

I kept praying for better deal
I was weeping inside for soul to heal
As it was making me bleed more
What more pain I had in store?

I would love to narrate my helplessness
How can I trust anyone on the face?
How I blame others when am not doing well?
Life has turned up side down and proved as hell

Only sadness in eyes for revelation
It has stood heavily against odd in relation
I might have erred every time to prove innocence
I shall take refuge in isolation to prove my presence

I leave it to others for treating me fairly
If possible pardon me leave alone sparingly
I have stood my ground well but failed
In all moral standards and trailed

“Remember me in your critical time” words sounded in ears
“I shall stand by you sometimes” I had waited for years
“Leave all worries to me” I was coming out of fears
“Act alone and set your course” I was ready to bear

I visualized him taking far away
I thought this may only be the way
Why to bother about all holy books?
When nice food is going to be spoiled by many cooks

Descry

I stood in a grand wood alone
whispering to God upon his throne:
' Is it truly true
nothing is more powerful
than magnificent You? '
Then, I stood by the great ocean
and whispered to God:
'Can You hear me above the roar?
How will You find me,
my footprints have washed away all along the shore? '
Finally, I stood upon the highest mountain top
and whispered to God:
'Can you see me now,
the mere speck that I am,
even just a glimpse, somehow? '
No reply came.
Not in words
I could hear.
No powerful voice
loud and clear.
I waited
'til the end
of day.
Then quietly, alone,
I simply walked away.

On my way home
travelling into the dusk,
a desert I did pass through
with a quiet and lonely
darkened view.
Nothing moved,
not a sound.
Except, for the slightest breeze
whisper wonders my way,
through the tops of a few scraggly trees.
I stoped
I looked
I stood.
Amazed at this wind
passing by through the twisted and bent woods.
It was at that moment
in the darkness,
at the edge of desolation, among the lowly trees,
that I became fully aware,
God is everywhere, even right here next to me.

Volcanic eruption

I knew about volcano eruption
I also knew there might be serious disruption
I wanted peace and no more interruptions
Yet it was inevitable but needed some caution

I knew morning will prove hell
Nothing may it to be very well
She will come rushing to the home
I will only smile and welcome

I was secretly composing poem about her
She was keenly watching me here
She may not let me know about her intention
But she had some misgivings and lived amidst tension

I wanted to give her surprise
It was fulfillment of all promises
I had promised to give her a memorable gift
I was wanted her to move visibly with some shift

She was obedient and very through a gentle lady
Her father was very good friend of my daddy
Both wanted to retain the permanent hold and friendship
We were made to fall with their lines for companionship

I was lucky enough to find her without any attempt
Even though our parents were active and very prompt
We knew little about their undisclosed plan and design
So long we remained very close and looked fine

She would air with her cuckoo voice
I would listen to her without making any noise
She will choose words deliberately to please
I will try to look normal and respond at ease

I gave her no present since our marriage
We spent the life nicely through out the age
I planned some surprise and prayed for its success
I did not want to give her any hint or access

We had never felt any excitement
As everything had come to us with no bad moments
We had enough fortune and even good standing
I had not uttered a word in her praise even with good understanding

I wrote everything about her frankly
I thought she may read it happily
I also wrote that I was simply quarrelling
It was to keep her under control and for level playing

Somehow she got wind of everything
She had searched all over for something
She could lay finally hand on much sought for letter
I was prepared to receive blows for better

Life On Your Own

Winter is approaching
Theres snow upon the ground
Its good of you to visit me
Im glad you came around
I dont know how you found me
I didnt let you know
I only moved to this address
I guess you think I ran out
But thats not true
Other people settle down
I never do
I always have to move on
Just have to go
Ive often wondered why that is
Id like to say but I just dont know
I guess you always wanted
Life on your own
I guess you always wanted
Life on your own
Up here the summers shorter
And winters very cold
Im looking forward to the peace
My lonely life will hold
Im really glad you came here
Thank you for the talk
Its funny how my problem stopped
When we went for a walk
Standing here together
Means so much
I wont forget your confidence
I wont forget your touch
You know Ill come to see you
Passing through
Well always be a world apart
Ill travel on but I will be true
I guess you always wanted
Life on your own
I guess you always wanted
Life on your own
I guess you always wanted
Life on your own

Not Regular Visitor

I am not regular visitor
To shrines, churches or mosques
Yet I believe firmly in creator
But I find long wait and queues

I am blessed with his kind eye
That sees whole universe with smile
I find no tense moments when stat to write
As the wind carries in sky my little kite

We are held firmly by his wishes
How many may be daily waiting to perish?
Some may be parting with so much pleasure!
And some may be unfulfilled with discomfort and unsure

I did the work with difference
Projected all views through sentences
Might have gone here and there without precision
Yet that was perfect moment with clear decision

I knew no meaning of good poetry
I thought it may fine putting of words like good oratory
It proved little difficult when put into practice
It seemed all the more difficult to fulfill promises

It remained very in tense at heart
Some one rightly said” it is prayer with art”
Not all can sing a praises in his songs
As we are selfish and prove all the time wrong

My heart aches when hear some bitter words
I don’t take it to heart and believe in lord
I close eyes and pray for next good moment
Never bear a grudge in mind or lament

This makes me less vulnerable
I am more confident and capable
Poetic words flow from innocent heart
I think life can make with it a good start

What else can I do to project it properly?
But I have found the way to feel it happily
I think it is pure grace that poems flow directly
Those words create some harmony in mind divinely

Sure those words may be cutting across
People may be finding it boring or clear loss
I take it simple way of reaching to kind people
If little can be done to relieve their problems and troubles

Say The Words

Every light shines on you tonight
Making a fool out of me
Why wont this love leave me alone
All of the people in this smoky room
Crowded with faces I know
I feel them watching me watch you
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over
Your eyes are deeper
They are worthy of many words
But none I can conjure up will do for you
I shouldnt see you
cause I know my own motivation
Its taking too long for this love
To leave me alone
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over
Bridge
Oh love you worry me
When you say youll wait forever
I have another life
We just cannot be together
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words say them for me
I need to hear you say its over
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over

i teach my child by G. Abad

I.
I teach my child
To survive.
I begin with our words,
The simple words first
And last.
They are hardest to learn.
Words like home,
Or friend, or to forgive.
These words are relations.
They are difficult to bear;
Their fruits are unseen.
Or words that promise
Or dream.
Words like honor, or certainty,
Or cheer.
Rarest of sound,
Their roots run deep;
These are words that aspire,
They cast no shade.
These are not words
To speak.
These are the words
Of which we consist,
Indefinite,
Without other ground.

II.
My child
Is without syllables
To utter him,
Captive yet to his origin
In silence.
By every word
To rule his space,
He is released;
He is shaped by his speech.
Every act, too,
Is first without words.
There's no rehearsal
To adjust your deed
From direction of its words.
The words are given,

But there's no script.
Their play is hidden,
We are their stage.
These are the words
That offer to our care
Both sky and earth,
These same words
That may elude our acts.
If we speak them
But cannot meet their sound,
They strand us still
In our void,
Blank like the child
With the uphill silence
Of his words' climb.
And so,
I teach my child
To survive.
I begin with our words,
The simple words first
And last.
