Puddles
Puddles
are everywhere
the rain continues
to flood the green
valleys.

Somewhere In Fantasyland
Yesterday, we strolled
together in fantasyland.
I was taken back to
another time of our youth.
A handsome young boy, a
sweet naive girl, holding
hands, loong at each other
with stars in their eyes.
Anticipating tomorrow.
The grassy meadows were
lush and green. Valleys
ablaze of color. Baby
buds yawned, waking up
from their long winters
nap. Began to open their
eyes, as the warmth of
the season penetrated
them.
Petals opened dislaying
a panamara.
You gently touched my
lips, asking me, I agreed.
That day so long ago, I
found my hearts delight.
Knowing this love would
last forever, and it has.

One Rainy Night
One night
the sky began
to darken
thunder crashed
lightening
flashed
the wind blew
violently
disturbing the
calm.
Within a heart
was being
twisted
tearing apart
too many clouds
too much rain
had fallen
a connection
was breaking up
not to be
repaired again.
When the sun
finally appeared
it was late
the damage had
already taken
place
No, nothing would
ever be the same.

Until You Were Gone
On this journey
of lifes' secrets
a stain-glass window
cracked.
Dreams were shattered.
I grasped for
your hand, but
it kept slipping away
The winds of
life kept howling
jerking at you until
you were gone.

Clouds are gathering
Rain splashing on my window
Releasing moisture
It continues to blow ill
The streets of life are flooded.

Our Baby
A young bud yawns,
opens her eyes, wakes up
from her long nap, looks around
to greet the world in awe.
She must be nourished
daily for her petals to
unfold and share her beauty, glow
in the heart of her gardner

Looking Away
Suddenly looking away,
Trying to hide sorrow,
Always looking past today,
Looking for tomorrow.
Tears trickle down a face,
Catch the falling rain,
Breezes gently stirring,
Drying on her window
pane.
Rain falling on the ground,
Filling all the meadows,
Teardrops lying all around,
Creating lots of puddles.

Come!

The Secret of the Rose
Rose, a
symbol of
beauty, purity,
power, excellence.
An emblem
of silence,
a tear dropped
brought
her into
existence
Becoming
a lovely lady
remaining closed
around the
heart, preventing
distress
a rare flower.

Can I Forget You?
When I can no longer
depend on my muse
to guide heart and hand.
Pen and paper lying
beside me, not a word
forth coming.
Paper turning yellow
with age, my eyes close
for the last time, I
breathe my final breath
can I forget you?

In The Puddles
Rain bashing, rain crashing,
In the puddles, children splashing,
Mother's tongue has started lashing,
Everyone is wet!
Rain slopping, rain stopping,
In the puddles, children hopping,
Mother's hands have started mopping,
Everyone, I bet!
Sun waking, sun breaking,
In the puddles, children quaking,
Mother's arms have started shaking,
Everyone, she'll net!
Sun applying, sun drying,
In the puddles, children crying,
Mother's breath is now a sighing,
Everyone's upset!
Sun gleaming, sun scheming,
In the puddles, children steaming!
Mother's smile, now is beaming,
Everyone's her pet!

Life's Wilderness
LIFES' WILDERNESS
Traveling
through
lifes'
wilderness.
Many
thorns
along
the
journey.
Leaving
behind
a veil
of tears.
Tangled
after
thoughts
of you.
Leaves
cover
the
pathway.
Causing
me to
lose
my way.

As I

Believing

Loving You
When we met
my world
began
to explode,
inflamed with
your love.
Your mouth
whispered
heavenly
on my lips.
Your arms
provided
warmth
Lying close
to you
I was made
complete.
Threads of
gold and
silver tied
themselves
around my
heart,
holding me
captive.
Loving you
my hearts
delight
Knowing you
an awesome
adventure.

Knowing You
As the soft
breezes blow
touch ny face
gently parting
away the past.
You seek me.
In the sighing
of the leaves
songs so sweetly
sang
the angels listen
in envy.
You soothe me.
As the clouds
drift away
the sun parts
the sky
heats up the
day
You warm me.
When the moon
comes out
lights up the
night sky
You touch me.

Our Bond Of Love
Traveling
through
life's
wilderness.
Branches
and thorns
appear
along the
journey.
Leaves
cover
the
pathway.
Tangled in
after
thoughts
of you.
Leaving
behind
a veil
of tears.
Finally I
come upon
a clearing.
The sun
is shining
flowers in
bloom.
An amazing
search has
ended.
I touch
your face
clasp your
hands.
Our bond
of love
is still
strong.
