My Precious One
He passed this
way
sweet, gentle,
caring
yet so briefly.
leaving behind
a missing
link.
A silver cord
stretched
to the limit
and beyond.
snapped
my precious
one
thrown into
eternity.

Early Works - Caring
Caring is about the little things
tears on a sunny day
for friends who may have gone away.
Caring, a word with such expression
when times are hard
the out stretched willing helping hand.
Caring a thing, we cannot always see,
but it’s nice to know
that there is always someone there.
Caring something, we always need
a cherished thought
by someone, anyone who cares.

Missing
Missing…
A hug
A kiss:
Two things
That I miss
A wink
A smile
A gentle touch
Once in a while
A little innocence
A little lust
A little caring
A little trust
Understanding…
Pat on the shoulder
Good memories
As I grow older
More love
More kissing
More happiness
Less missing

Plus and minus is more than zero.
You sapped my soul and snapped the cord
When you left, forever, my company
Because it is you who gave me sap and cord
When you were with me in love harmony.
Maybe no sorrow, had I not courted you.
Maybe no sorrow had you not drifted off.
Pleasure of reminiscence is the end product.

Skies The Limit
Written by christine mcvie
If Ive been acting just a little strange
And you have noticed it too
Its cos my life has been rearranged
With the presence of you
The sky is the limit now
We can hit it on the nail
And when we do
Ill think about you
How can we fail
Can you give me one reason why
Youd ever let me down
I wont believe it baby, but Ill try
The truths goin to come around
The sky is the limit now
We can hit it on the nail
And when we do
Ill think about you
How can we fail
The sky is the limit
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
Sooner or later
Ill keep the promise
I made to you
Sooner or later
It will be greater
Then we ever knew
The sky is the limit now
We can hit it on the nail
And when we do
Ill think about you
The sky is the limit now
We can hit it on the nail
And when we do
Ill think about you
How can we fail
The sky is the limit
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
The sky is the limit
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
The sky is the limit
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
The sky is the limit
Oh the sky is the limit
How can we fail
The sky is the limit

Oh Dusten
Oh Dusten
my shining star
your light still
luminates the
darkness
guiding me toward
a brighter
tomorrow.
In reflections
a sweet, gentle,
kind boy
caring so much
for others.
A shinging star
on the earth plane.
Oh you precious
boy
how you must be
lighting up the
heavenlys
with your smile.

You Stepped Through
Suddenly it
happened
a journey
ended
abruptly.
An earthly
encounter
was shortened
destiny
unfulfilled.
A silver cord
stretched
beyond the
point of no
return.
An invisible
door opened
ypu stepped
through
another rehlm
Just out of
sight
out of reach
still in my
heart you
remain.

You Lost Me
You lost me
Like fermented palm wine
What sweetness there was
Now all tartness.
You lost me
Between the impatience of your fuss
And the fuss of your impatience
You lost me
At the fated fork
Where destiny must separate mentor and protege
When the silver cord that binds us
Snapped from your pace
And mine too
The one the cheetah
The other, the snail.
You lost me
When the frown on your face
Wilted the tender shoot of my esteem.
You lost me
When gold and silver tipped the scale
Against professed goodwill.
You lost me
Like congealed milk
Curdled for want of cuddle.
Hey, you lost me!
A million times today
In a million ways.

The Silver Orb
I stretched out my arm and grasped the beautiful new moon,
but it slipped through my fingers like sand from the dune.
Shooting stars appeared like flaming arrows in the sky
which left sparkling trails, as they passed by.
The silver orb became hidden by a huge passing cloud;
moments later its brightness was shouting out loud.
The cloud moved aside leaving the moon in all its glory,
oh, how beautiful it is, this observer of history.

And as it's Going
And as it's going often at love's breaking,
The ghost of first days came again to us,
The silver willow through window then stretched in,
The silver beauty of her gentle branches.
The bird began to sing the song of light and pleasure
To us, who fears to lift looks from the earth,
Who are so lofty, bitter and intense,
About days when we were saved together.

Next Plane To London
Im on the next plane to london
Leaving on runway number five
Next plane to london and Im missing her
That baby of mine
Told her I was gonna be a star
But to do it I would have to go far away
But Ill come back someday
And take her away
Im on the next plane to london
Leaving on runway number five
Next plane to london and Im missing her
That baby of mine
Said that over here I wasnt in
Down in hollywood I couldnt find a friend
Who would help me get in
Or listen to me
Im on the next plane to london
Leaving on runway number five
Next plane to london and Im missing her
That baby of mine
Maybe over there Ill get a start
Only hope by leaving I dont break her heart
The more important part
Than any record on the chart
Next plane to london
Leaving on runway number five
Next plane to london and Im missing her
That baby of mine
Next plane to london
Leaving on runway number five
Next plane to london and Im missing her

Missing You
always i am missing you
every moment when i begin
to compare the now and the
what had been there.
always i am missing your
sweet-nothings when i touch
the rough edges of my own
walls and doors, these that
enclose me
always will i miss you
when i feel that i am thrown
to a dungeon of lions when
i hear the sounds of my
yesterdays with you
always will i remember you
when the rain begins to fall
when a woman opens an
umbrella when i stood tall
beside you.
it will always be a sweet remembering
when another bus leaves this town
when another man waves his hands goodbye
when the dusts settle on the locks
of his hair and skin.

This is Me
This is Me
By: Adam M. Snow
Caring heart;
a gentle smile;
love from the start;
no voice of guile;
this is who I am;
this is me.
I am gentle like a lamb;
this is who I choose to be.
Caring eyes;
a gentle touch;
no more cries;
for you mean so much.
This is me;
why cant you see?
My words are calm;
my love's your balm.
This is me;
whom you not know;
I show you mercy;
for you, my love I bestow.
I'm your guardian angel;
no need to be fearful.
Can't you see;
that this is me?

Before The Goodbye
Laying here in your arms
And you hold me tight, tight
Trying not to watch the clock
Tick, tickin as the time goes by
And I know that you best be on your way
But I'm wishin I could make you stay
Stay with me for a while
Though your near
Still I want to make it clear
Love, I will always be around
CHORUS:
Your leaving, I'm waiting
Forgive me
I'm always missing you
Before The Goodbye
I feel it, already
Forgive me
I'm always missing you
Before The Goodbye
Kind of hard for me to let you know
Cause I dont let my feelings show
How much I'll be missing you
All the little things that make me weak
Your eyes and the way you speak
Without you baby I'm not me
Though your near
Still I want to make it clear
Love, I will always be around
CHORUS
Your leaving, I'm waiting
Forgive me
I'm always missing you
Before The Goodbye
I feel it, already
Forgive me
I'm always missing you
Before The Goodbye
CHORUS
Your leaving
I'm waiting, forgive me
I'm always missing you
Before The Goodbye

She's A Rebel
She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous
She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction
From Chicago to Toronto
She's the one that they
Call old whatsername
She's the symbol
of resistance
and she's holding on my
heart like a hand grenade
Is she dreaming
what I'm thinking
Is she the mother of all bombs
gonna detonate
Is she trouble
like I'm trouble
make it a double
twist of fate
or a melody that
She sings the revolution
the dawning of our lives
she brings this liberation
that I just can't define
nothing comes to mind
[x2]
She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous
She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction
She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous
She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction
She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's dangerous
[x2]

My Name Is Reckless
My name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
I ignore all the honking horns
as I weave through the traffic
in the sports car I bought last week.
I’m the greatest driver
you ever want to meet.
You see my name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
No one can beat me
as I race down roads everywhere.
The speed limit
mean nothing to me,
that for only learners
Because my name is reckless,
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
I took my mate out
for a spin to show him all I new.
We raced around the roads.
I’d driven down them before
so I knew them like the back of my hand.
My name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
As we raced along
an articulated lorry
was stretched across the road.
I knew I could go under it
so I told my mate to duck.
My name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
My mate didn’t hear me
as the music was so high
so when the roof came off so did my mate as well.
I escaped with minor injuries,
but my mate died at the scene.
They told me they were charging me
with careless driving,
but I soon told then a thing or two.
My name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.
Unfortunately, my statement
didn’t wash with them.
The judge sent me down
for a three-year stretch.
He took away my licence
and threw it in the bin.
I protested saying.
My name is reckless;
I’ve passed my test
so I know how to drive.

I'm Me
I do what I want and how I do.
I do it all for me and not for you.
What do you care if it's crude?
I'm not that lude.
You're just a prude.
Judging all like you're so shrewd.
I couldn't care what others think.
When I do my soul just sinks.
Your pleasing manner really stinks.
You'll never find the missing link.
Always on the miserable brink.
Caring too much for what others think.
I'll do my thing. While you do yours.
To those who don't like it close the door.
They make my life a wretched bore.
I'm not here to be their whore.
I'll go forever with wit so clever.
Doing what I want in each endeavor.
That's all I need to feel quite pleased.
I do it all because I'm me.

We've All Been Greedy
Those peaceful nights for some have passed.
Those feeling safe...
In sheltered communities behind closed gates.
Are awakening.
But not to Robins singing.
To peer from behind French customed made doors.
Swinging out onto the patio.
Overlooking acres upon acres upon more acres,
Of freshly cut grass.
These awareness days have come upon us fast.
Who would believe such a quick erasing,
Of a way of life....
Would come to pass.
And leave those embittered with much grief,
With streaks of torment on twisted faces.
Disgraced and now nervously pacing.
In wait.
But for what?
When the 'why' of it has arrived too late!
We've been greedy.
See what gluttony does when it can't be overcomed.
We've been greedy,
And feeding on our selfishness.
While ripping the hearts out of those to sustain it.
Doing everything to gain more and maintain it.
We've been greedy!
And..
The stinging of the realness,
Persists.
And can not be contained.
Acts of civil madness...
Spreads fast!
Thousands go out of their minds.
Many more are trapped!
Something in their minds have snapped.
Only those exposed to fantasies,
Are observed doing that.
And a waste of explanation can not bring them back!
Their self delusions have attacked.
Leaving us all affected by that 'fat'!
Yes fat!
Undisciplined rascists...
Tearing each other apart,
While laying lazily on our backs...
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Yes...
Greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger,
But never better than the rest.
Greedy!
Yes...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger
But never better than the rest.
Just so greedy!
Yes...
And bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Yes...
And,
Greedy!
Yes!
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
A sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've
ALL
Been
Greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
Yes...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
Sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
Yes...
Feeding on our selfishness.

Infidelity
I love you all
not the way you think
I still love my wife
my missing link
a link that binds time and pain
a friend to share tears
this will always remain
the deepest feelings that come from within
even though fooling around with you
is a mortal sin
