Under constant fear
We are living under constant fear
The crowded market places has brunt to bear
It is easy target for terrorists to strike
It is scene of the day and much to our dislike
Some of the disgruntled forces think otherwise
Their ideology is based on weapons to improvise
They think people can be subdued by violence
There terror has to be spread on large scale hence
There have no religion to follow
Some of outdated customs forcefully to allow
No voice against their action to be tolerated
Cut the throats and leave the body mutilated
Some of the provisions made for spread of the terror
The arms, ammunition and training provided to minors
The brain wash and untruth spread in the minds
Where can one survive and only terror to find?
It is not the religion alone behind the game
The age old custom and monopoly to blame
They have no hesitation to kill a person
What will they offer in His audience any valid reason?
It is alright to go in and praise martyrdom
It is essential and necessary for any freedom
It requires sacrifice if not to be called zero
The nation pays homage to such brave heroes
No nation can be cowed down by suicide attacks
It speaks of cowardice act and generally lacks
The strong resolve to attain the desired aim
How can they seriously come forward to claim?
Some futile steps here and there can not weaken
The nationalist sprit can not be shaken
It will strengthen the opinion against them on the contrary
These steps are unwarranted and totally unnecessary
We have witnessed enough of bloodshed
Now there is no scope for counting the dead
How many lives can you take by surprise?
There is no more gain left to summarize
No one may buy the arguments
This is real freedom fighter’s movement
The independence can not be won by wanton killing
It will add to woes and only grief filling
The world at large has realized the point
Some of the nations have yet to join
To offer meaningful solutions to the fight
The honorable place has to be given to the right
We may leave behind troubled land
Burning with fire and no one is to be trusted as friends
History will never pardon us for such a fluid and dangerous situation
How much blood might have been shed till then for such continuation?

Cowardice Act
“To leave the field and run for life”
Leaving the children behind and wife
To hide the face and not face the challenge
To deceive somebody and retract the steps or renege
These are called cowardice acts
Everybody may come forward and sharply react
You will find no place to hide
Its implications are more and wide
Life may be sharp but not edge of the knife
You got to act when situation is rife
Kill or get to be killed is suddenly forgotten,
Thousands of thoughts invade and come often,
Who stands alone amidst ruins,
Bury the dead for honor and not coins,
Worries for dead to offer descent burial
Not to offer any excuses or denial
Not all becomes commanders in field,
Sacrifice life but never submit or yield,
Stick to position and ground very well hold,
Recover more and bring glory to their fold,
With sudden burst of fire shells,
Coward sees it as raining hell,
Think not of holy land but ready to sell,
Let country suffer but I must do or fare well,
It is not confined to war zones alone,
Every field is engulfed and very prone,
the question is where to start and where to end?
All mixed signals received but where to bend?
Material gain can be even compensated,
Loss of lives can still be tolerated,
Food sometimes, we find, may be adulterated,
but how the cowardice can be equated?
Russians lost the war not because they were not brave,
fought valiantly but fallen with honor to graves
It were human waves after waves that stood ground,
New elements in history where honors was found,
To witness the injustice and not to act,
Tolerate the tyranny and not to react,
Shut the eyes to reality or fact,
It is cowardice act in matter of fact,
World cares for brave and pays the homage,
Cowards finds no favor and name only damage,
History remembers them for their brave acts,
Not a word to their dishonor as a matter of fact
Why country or nation has to face the shame?
Why to go after damage control blame game?
Why have we to go for remedial acts?
Only for their action country has to sign humiliating pacts
What can be done with land already parted?
How national pride is revived and started?
How can any nation stand with lost face?
Have we to try sincerely for steps to retrace?

Sonnet-No Nation Is Free
When no one knows the where and when and how
Of Terrorist's strike anywhere on earth,
Their 'modus operandi' you can't know,
Neither the problem's nature or its girth!
When war is on an enemy unknown,
Who operates in ways you can't predict;
Who makes a Super-nation too a clown!
And nations all don't fully interdict.
When nation lives in fear of more attacks,
From militants and terrorists some way;
And lasting solutions also, it lacks,
How can you celebrate 'REPUBLIC-DAY'?
Alas! No nation is really free,
Till terrorists are wiped out totally!

Terror-struck?
When terror strikes your very doors,
Unleashing deaths like ‘bolts from blue’,
And taking all by surprise too,
Just ask yourself why this happens?
When terror struck your neighbor’s doors,
And you defended militants,
Not bringing them to justice fast –
God measures you in like measure?
No sane of hearts will terrorize!
No human beings good will kill;
No hate-less souls can kill by scores;
All those on earth must love brethren.
Death is the same that comes to all;
Death is tragic when premature;
Death of children is heinous crime;
Just evil minds car-bomb brothers!
Terrorists cause panic, chaos;
Terrorists spread fear through bullets;
Terrorists gain, when we divide;
No God will support evil-minds!
Let world unite to fight terror!
Let none protect a terrorist;
Let lives of citizens be safe;
Let’s value lives across the globe!

Indomitable Spirit
INDOMITABLE SPIRIT
Melvin Banggollay
N-inoy is jailed yet never conquered
His body has been put in a dungeon
Sealed with much pains so unheard
But still His spirit soared out of oblivion.
I got no army with powers truly feared
Nor with flickering gold of the nation
I got only an indomitable spirit unaltered
With hope and faith to die for freedom
N-inoy died fighting for our freedom
Not with goons and power of guns
But with his indomitable faith as a man
Willing to die to restore our freedom.
O-ut of his enjoyable life in Boston’s land
He journeyed back for our freedom
Even the hiss of death is really at hand
he fighted his fear to die for our freedom.
Y-ou and I and the whole eyes of nations
Witnessed the lamb of our dear freedom
Calmly faced his death without hesitation
With a bullet from fool soldiers’ arms.
They killed this young honorable man
But they can never kill the spirit of freedom
Within this man that always lives beyond
Inspiring us to fight and die for freedom.
He was the lamb of the Filipino’s freedom
Who offered his life to wake up everyone
That no one man can decide the fate of a land
For a nation’s fate lives in everybody’s hand.

Never slaves this before
We were never slaves this before
Kept under heels and crushed therefore
No statue was there to remind us about “freedom of liberty”
The kings were kind, fearful and blessed by almighty
We are prisoners in our own country
Poor are dying of starvation due to liberal economy
We are in real terms world’s largest democracy
The justice is denied due to delayed diplomacy
I am product of new generation and has witnessed
The emergence of new era where new goals are to be chased
New ideas and world at large are to be understood
Enough of attention for progress along with enough stock of food
Whole of ice berg is earmarked for distribution
But reduced to tiny cube when reaches to destination
The corruption has become order of the day
We can’t think of living in honorable way
Whole of country is divided into small pieces
Cast, creed, religion and region sway national politics
Some of the regions are starved because of no strong voice
Help is rendered but they are left with no choice
Our ancessastors built strong base and gave one nation
Harmony, peace, and prosperity synchronized with good relation
Alas! We fell victims to the jealousy and divisive tendency
Whole of country fell to invader’s greed and lost supremacy
We are slaves from that period till today
We boycotted foreign good, burnt and pushed them away
It was fight for independence and had noble aim
Everybody sacrificed something in a way to claim
Whom to complain about our own plight?
What to do with such kind of liberty and offer to fight?
Where country is divided on ethic norms?
Only cheating and treachery is in full swing on the name of reforms
We had irritation towards foreigners for their white skin
Their role is taken over by this so called people with kith and keens
Forces are killed in day light but no political will power to fight
We may vanish in our own land for doing wrong or right
Not a hundred, thousand or million fills their belly
Their hunger rises day by day even if that seems silly
They have no remorse when farmers and laymen commit suicide
Where can we go and cry or find the place to hide?

Speechless And Dumb
I remained speechless and dumb
As if the noise was heard from bomb
Many bodies lay scattered all over the places
There was cry for help and frantic chase
It was heavy and loud explosion
People were standing in queue for quick disposition
They were at the counters in many numbers
Just it was to turn in tragic events for members
Many were to be dead for no reason
The mission was to be handiwork of mindless persons
The separatists and terrorists are raising heads again
Worries and agony all over for people to bear with pain
What can be the goal in specific for carrying out carnage?
How could they carry out plan in crowded place and manage?
Do they not fear for their life and community at large?
How long they can evade law and remain at large?
Whole of world is shivering under constant threat
Lots of fund is earmarked and created to counter and meet
The challenges posed by enemy is to keep people at ransom
How can one think of these acts as any value of brilliance or wisdom?
We are to be blamed for our inability to counter
How can they come at will and choose place to enter?
How can we show slackness despite given enough of warning?
Cry for help later on with lots of difficulties and yearning
It may be little dramatic to explain such incidences
It hardly needs mention with long references
Yet it merits attention as precious lives are at stake
We may be loosing many more if remain not awake
I might have lost no dear ones or relative
Still matter is important and very much subjective
It indicates lots of things and requires action with stern hand
Foes are to be picked up and saved the life of friends
They have no religion or particular ideology to follow
They will wait for opportunity to strike and meanwhile lay low
How can one think of killing innocent persons?
When we all are human beings and God’s sons

Terrorist Strikes!
Why fell the trees laden with fruits?
Why cut the saplings ‘fore they grow?
Why mow down fields ‘fore harvest-time?
Why bull-doze crowds in market-squares?
Why hold to ransom by-standers?
Why spray bullets on school-children?
Why slit the throats with arms, legs tied?
Why bomb worshipping places rife?
Why make widows and orphan souls?
Why kill yourselves and others too?
The world cannot remain mute spectator;
The world will go on;
The world must go on;
The world will go on, no matter
How terrorists strike.
A bunch of hoodlums,
A group of fanatics,
A ring of hard-core terrorists
And human beings with evil designs
Can’t be allowed to spread fear,
In Mankind’s Heart for long.
With cause unknown,
Methods unjust,
Ev’n God won’t help,
Nor rest of world
Ever give in!
No matter what they do,
All world affairs will continue;
With newer anti-terrorist resolve
And iron-fisted measures,
Steps will be taken to combat them.
The weed of terrorism
Will be unearthed by its roots entire
When the world’s nations unite-
By People’s Will.
How canst a few criminals
Meant for the Fire-pit,
Destroy the peace on earth?
Ev’n God does not love them,
For their hands and hearts are stained
By blood of innocent lives!
And what do terrorists seek?
- The blood and lives of the common man and the meek!
By acts of cowardice much,
They want ‘justice, love and human touch! ’
Oh, won’t their ruthlessness ever abate?
They maim the unarmed; slit the human throats like sheep!
Their murders most foul, unjustified,
And heinous crimes,
The world can’t forgive, forget.
Let ‘lions’ challenge other Lions
And not sheep!
The Good Shepherd is omnipresent
And watches ov’r his belov’d sheep,
With His staff!
Terrorists,
Your tribes will cease too soon;
The menace will forev’r be rid;
The world will be turned safe again!
The world will find a solution
That’s permanent.
Written in loving memory of all those killed
And wounded by terrorist attacks.

On Mumbai Serial Blast
Who are these harbingers of terror?
Who are these enemies of humanity?
Who are these vampires of destruction?
Whose hearts don't melt at the screams of innocent people,
Whose eyes don't shed tears at mutilated corpse,
Whose sentiments have turned indifferent to weal and woe,
Don't they have parents?
Don't they have children?
Don't they have brothers and sisters
Wives and relatives?
Then why they play the game of terror?
No one can justify this dreadful act,
No religion on the earth supports terror,
It is a deliberate attempt to endanger the unity and integrity of the country,
But our unity is not strained,
It runs in our veins in the form of blood,
Howsoever hard they may hit,
Their mal intentions will crumble away after colliding with our resolve,
And ultimately we shall emerge as winners,
And they will definitely come to grief.

Long Live Africa
O great people of Africa, you rise
Wait for no sweet and hollow promises
Prefer to plough your own field
There will definitely be very good yield
Motherland wants more sacrifice
Not happy with unnecessary bloodshed and demises
Let them commit cruelty and spray bullets
Answer them with your own hands and ballots
Key and success is in your hand
Extend hand of friendship to them as friends
If no result comes out of it then also go forward
Now there is no scope of looking backward
Why African blood has turned yellow?
Why do they bear pain and allow
Why there is no positive result so far?
Because you have stretched too far
Let your children not suffer
Even if you may have divergent views to differ
Stand united and offer resistance
Peace is he only way out and bright chance
We shall extend cooperation
We can maintain relation
Yet it may be you who only will have to fight
Means may be wrong or right
See that no innocent is killed
See that unnecessary blood is not spilled
Freedom must be realized at any cost
Your will power and tough stand is must
Leave no stone unturned
Let peace chance not die and returned
Pick the threads from where you lost
Human misery must be avoided at any cost
Dream about peaceful nation
You may be able to establish good relation
Peace may not be far away
Stand firm; keep freedom torch burn on and stay

Pledge Allegiance
I pledge allegiance to this land
Where heroes protect every woman and man
The flag that represents freedom and choice
The flag that gives us all a free voice
And on September 11th, when our nation was attacked
We all came together and we fought back
In the midst of terror, many heroes died
They fought to save others and in the end sacrificed their lives
They didn't think twice as they ran toward the fallen cries
All they could think about was to save those victims' lives
Though they have fallen we can still hear freedom ringing in their voice
From the battlefields to the white house we all had to learn to survive
The tragedies on September 11th left a whole nation to mourn and cry
Now we live on to protect our flag's integrity
From the people who just don't seem to see what our nation sees
Though they attack us, never will we fall
I give a salute to the firefighters and soldiers lost on that day
Together we mourn for the victims who had to lose their lives that way
But in their deaths, our nation finally saw
That no matter how much they try, together we cannot fall
So, I pledge allegiance to this land
Where heroes protect every woman and man

Remember Nine Eleven
they came like thieves in the night
Hijacked the planes while in flight
2974 people died that day
And for their souls we still pray.
Ground zero will live in the minds of man
And the world is taking a stand.
These terrorist acts must come to an end
And more troops the nations will send.
The young minds that they enslaved
Will come out of their caves
They will see the treachery
And will long to be free.
Why is it that you fear freedom so?
Is it because in your hearts you know
That you and your followers
Will have no place to go.
Communism and dictatorships
Are falling to the ground
Every where you look there’s love to be found.
Mothers are not giving up their children
To commit suicide, freedom is
The key on which they rely.
9/11 was the breaking point
For all the world to see
This is the reason it’s now world history.
“ to freedom” the world is now
Opening up their eyes, this we can not deny.
The world is getting smaller, and there’s
No place to hide.
No matter where you go, you know we will find.
People are closing in on all your terrorist acts.
Look around you, you know that’s a fact.
So to al- Qaeda and all the other terrorists factions
The world is now counter acting.
The bell of freedom will ring through out each nation
We will stop all your devastation.

Good will
How dear is mother and motherland?
Is it simple flash piece or piece of land?
One gives birth and another gives means to live
Both are precious and holy if one takes on to believe
No one on this earth may tolerate any insult?
The sentiments are interwoven and carefully built
Millions may die for the holy cause and honor
The land has turned red many times in color
It is called supreme sacrifice if offered for defense
How many people might have laid down their lives to halt offense?
History is witness that offenders have fled away to save lives
Constant efforts have been made and all are keen or to thrive
The wanton killings and bloodshed is averted
The danger is for time being halted or diverted
The clouds do hover over the sky for causing destruction
At any moment world can be at war with little mischief or instructions
We have witness many changes in recent days
Mighty dictators have fled the land and paved the way
Yet there is human rights violations and suppression
Citizens are killed in their own land under oppression
Democratic countries too are not exception
They have cornered national wealth from the inception
There is no final check over them and have free hand
The people suffer under oppression in their own land
If it is foreign power then it is question of occupation
The dispute can not be confined to local in relation
It has dangerous consequences to engulf all and follow
The indefinite subjugation is not the solution and be allowed
We have seen ruthless purging
There has been no impact on appeal or urging
The blood is constantly shed leading to loss of lives
The situation has not improved and has made nose dive
The liberty and freedom movement has become farce
It has become ridiculous with the command of opportunist forces
We hear no talk on peace initiatives or cessation of hostile move
The danger still looms large with reign of terror and fear yet to be removed
We saw mass slaughters and ethnic cleansing with mass exodus
Many countries faced starvation with the increase of unmanageable influx
We could over come with the great plight and stopped complete annihilation
Yet the world is not assured of full liberty and equal participation
Let us pray almighty for to prevailing common sense and good will
At least there is full stop for border skirmished and unnecessary killings
Oppressors are given no chance to rule and shown the wall
Enough has been flown in red blood and now time is to recall

All ills
We had heard about racial discrimination and abuses
We were claiming tall but had to admit and could not refuse
The world is fast coming out of ethnic cleansing
How much more time we may need for real cleaning?
It ails society and countries on large scale
We have not come in terms and really failed
Our eyes still refuses to accept green
Before this such scenario never had been
Black and whites have fought for centuries and cursed
They wounds have been aggravated further and still not nurtured
Dark skin has some what not been hated most but the nations
Have remained at war for decades and strained the relations
What did the apartheid literally do other than to create hatred?
Where were the real feelings for country to stand united and lead?
Centuries of old relation evaporated in faction of seconds
Blood hungry rivals fought over for nothing but only diamonds
We have heard the poor being subjected to harassment and negligence
We too have come across the atrocities and rights violations
It has been tackled to large extent but this Oh God, terrorism
Really a dastardly act aimed at nothing but to malign the humanism
We have fought guerilla war and come across deadly organizations
Years of turmoil and blood bath have ruined us culture and institutions
We have nothing else left except to lick and nurture the wounds
Still that remains buried in mind and some traces are found
We are strongly divided over the issue of strong nationalism
It can have nothing to do with any kind of terrorism
The honorable ways are there open to wage the struggle
The innocent people can not taken as hostage and killed in jungles
It is possible strong armies may fail to curb such menace
The countries involved may stop the in flow of finance
The moral support is welcome in any form and appreciated
The terror and barbaric attacks for gaining freedom can not be equated
The world has witnessed the holocaust of atomic destruction
The world leaders are worried about capture of such weapons
What will be fate of entire world if that becomes tragedy?
Such elements must be rooted out as first steps of the remedy
Apartheid, color, cast and religion has not done much damage
Countries at war were persuaded and won over to manage
The next war may be deadly and even worst than ever expected
Why not we consider small part for all human lives to be respected?

Eye for An Eye
Eye for an eye and blood for blood”
Revenge must be sought even if having no food
it reminds us of primitive days of stone and wood
Many civilizations have swept away or buried after flood,
They are in places where fanatics rule the world,
Day time daily murders with cold blood
Forcible imposition of will to bring them into fold,
To create the formidable cartels for banned drugs and gold,
their main aim is to export violence and terrorism,
Selecting the easy and show the barbarism
Still world sleep and offer limited or no criticism,
there is no sign of iron will to contain fascism,
Only handful of people hold the world to ransom
Sources are know where do they come from?
Still powerful politicians lack will and reel under gloom
when the real spring will come and flowers blossom
Is it right path to be pursued for attainment of goal?
Minting money by extracting diamonds from coal,
All come under one platform with aim to rule,
Preparing for war under new name of terror school,
It is said” if sword is to be drawn”
Then it should never be withdrawn?
Let all heads roll down on the ground
But the noble cause must be very much known,
So much destruction.loss of lives and bloodshed,
Innocents lay killed under the sun without any shed
thousand become homeless and many flee the scene
complete land becomes red and visibly seen
I may not preach violence but see the need to curb,
If countries needed to be told then must be snubbed
It should not be for self interest, national interest
Not to surrender to any pressure or yield to unrest
They will not understand the language of peace
Life may remain paralyzed and not at ease
It will be reign of terror with no where to go
How people can feel safe and try to forgo
Humanity will be at loss and continue to suffer
People may try to impose though others may differ
It is political hegemony which is at stake
They will remain under turmoil but not alert or awake
World may not heave a sigh of relief
If eye for an eye is their ideology and belief
They may call it martyrdom for freedom
They get hold or recognition seldom
World has to wake up to the reality
Must address the problem with sincerity
It may be solved to benefit of all
Peace should be ultimate goal and call

Progressively Worse
Said to have a progressive mind, as they leave all morals behind,
Going on with a new code of life, while immorality all about is rife,
Progressing with a liberal cause, with no thought or even a pause,
To what the Lord God has said, and bring upon us fear and dread.
A nation is blessed abundantly, if they follow The God of Eternity,
All men prosper, to His praise, as they seek to follow in His Ways.
But, this nation, many cherish, less God’s vision soon shall perish,
While blessed will be any nation, following not man but Revelation.
This is God’s Word revealed to us, who in God have put their trust,
For His Word pervades the life, of all men who follow Jesus Christ.
As we’re to be for all, His light, pointing men to the way that’s right,
The way found in The Word of God, as we’re lead by staff and rod.
Of the Truth that we come to know, when we in Christ’s Body grow,
His Truth to all, we must spread, to turn a land from fear and dread,
To the Righteousness from above, as we spread our Savior’s Love,
Along with God’s plan of Salvation, to the hearts across this nation.
Progress, which many wish to seek, will only make this nation weak,
For the only strength that will endure, is that which is from The Lord,
The Lord God reigning over all, judging nations which from Him fall,
But exalting nations and all within, who stand against iniquity of sin.

War + Lives - add Love = Freedom
A nation born from war, for the “purpose” of establishing freedom
A nation divided in war, in an “attempt” to fulfill the goal of freedom
A nation engaged in world wars, in the task of “preserving” freedom
A nation policing the world, in the “pursuit” of freedom
So many young lives have been lost, for the “cause” of freedom
Let us remember those who paid the “ultimate price, ” for freedom
And dear God, please tell us! - “What! ” - is freedom?
“Life is to be lived, not controlled, and humanity is won by continuing
To play in face of certain defeat.” Ralph Ellison
'We need not war'
We need not war, to show us how freedom is made
What we need is love to show us how freedom is played.
For freedom is not - but to “do as we please”
But rather to “please others” - because of what we achieve
“To serve requires love, only with love to we attain freedom”

Bones and Blood
My body may be made of bones and blood
But I shall be needing nutrition as food
That shall be coming from holy land
Popularly and dearly known as mother land
If there is to be something precious
Than it has to be only mother and mother land
We need to take pledge that all brethrens will be friend
We shall protect them till we have life to the end
I can not remain unconcerned for what is happening around
New ideas must be infused in the people's mind and gain ground
Now self has asserted more and put before everything
The nationality, religion and cast has taken over for something
It is good to feel strongly about the nation
It is good to build the harmony and relation
It is equally good to profess the faith any religion
But it is certainly not encouraged to export terrorism in other regions
Let them have their own way of living
It is not our duty to force smaller nations in believing
Create supremacy and hegemony by force
Reduce the status of independence and guide through remote
We shall unearth all the attempts that is against our sovereignty
Side with no such activities that is aimed at sabotaging integrity
We may be poor nation but certainly protect national frontier
Compromise with no principles and create no barriers
Let each individual take an oath of secrecy
To the mother land and assure of adequacy
In the form of food grains and education
That is main burning problem and question
I shall remain vigilant against corruption
That has lead to stoppage of work with interruption
The poor are suffering and farmers are resorting to suicide
Let each one of us take the struggle ahead and spread it wide
Nation needs survival bid with resolution
Power is to shared by people with devolution
It should not be concentrated in few hands
This has given birth to autocratic trend

My Fight For Irish Freedom
'My fight for Irish freedom' the autobiography of Dan Breen
But perhaps he should have called his book 'When young blood stained the green'
For human blood for freedom too huge a price to pay
And liberty or freedom define it anyway.
The freedom of expression whatever that might be
To speak our minds on certain things we are not truly free
Look at poor Salman Rushdie his book you may have read
For his satanic verses some people want him dead.
From the point I am about to make you may think I tend to stray
And what has Rushdie got to do with Irish freedom you might say
But for freedom of expression there has been a World-wide
fight
And yet fear is a deterrent to a basic human right.
The fight for Irish freedom whatever that might mean
For there is more to freedom than the 'wearing of the green'
In Ireland like all Nations there is inequality
Of prejudice and class distinction the World is yet not free.
The ill fated Easter Rising in Dublin of the year nineteen sixteen
And my fight for Irish freedom the story of Dan Breen
Is living on in history yet do we understand
That there is more to freedom than owning a piece of land.

Written In Red!
Pages of history of man kind
Are written red,
Those who thought their blood,
As blue as sky or as blue as deep ocean,
Wrote the pages in Red and every page is full of bloodshed!
Hungry people weep for even glass of water,
And even for that they had blood to shed,
Innocent plants or innocent grass die,
When two elephants fight for supremacy!
They never care how many innocent may die!
Great heroes are made on the number of men they despatch to hell,
Saying patriots have heaven in their fight!
They are heroes like matadors at the cost of blood of an innocent bull!
Otherwise they are as you and me except that cruelty,
Men the made several men to shed blood, in the name of woman,
May it be sita, may it be Padmini
Or may be Helen of Troy,
All men were treated like toys
By a that a few mad boys,
To have their woman back,
Or defend their action,
All religions have their history written in red,
May it be books that are from God,
Stained with red, God signed it with blood,
Put the rubber stamp of quality with bone and flesh,
Every nation is having its own fountain of blood shed!
power hungry need only to shed crocodile tears,
Or just present awards and reward,
Those who safeguard
and died to save them!
May it be Ashoka, may it be Idi Ameen
or may be Churchil, or may be Gandhi,
Or may Lincoln or Changez Khan
Only they were famous due blood shed!
May it be history of continent or that sub continent
Only a story written in blood, On human skin and with bones as pens!
May it be any ' -ism ' or may
Politics in spain or Britain,
Equally dangerous are these..
Power or woman,
Ambition or nation,
Whether terrorist or counter terrorist venture
Police or politician,
Every history of massive wealth,
Or a piece of land
Religion or culture, blood is That red ink with pages of history is written only in red!

True Liberty
The day in which one celebrates, Independence of a union of states,
Independence from powers outside; freedom that was once denied,
The freest nation in this world, a point that others sometimes herald,
Causing many who are weary in heart, to come here for a fresh start.
A day of real joyous celebration, all across this now powerful nation,
As our voices together are raised, with full hearts a nation is praised,
Festive fireworks are always planned, in many cities across this land,
Celebrating what many of us see, as the greatest nation in all history.
Liberty we celebrate by proclamation, extends to all within this nation,
However that liberty extends only, to the borders of this dear country,
Beyond the borders and the sea, the nation’s people may not be free,
When many travel to other lands, freedoms turn into other’s demands.
Demands which turn into bondage, leaving this land of great privilege,
Privileges that others only dream of, as they look to this land we love,
A land that is so blessed by God, many agree, on this day with a nod,
But, forgetting Him most of the year; living so privileged, without fear.
There’s a freedom many don’t know, as their freedoms for them grow,
Liberty, from the bondage of sin, that captivates our land from within,
That freedom which we celebrate, doesn’t free men from Satan’s hate,
As the Devil leads a war against God, all across this land that we trod.
Freedom from such an evil foe, comes only when the Savior we know,
Who left all the Glory of Eternity, coming to earth to set captives free,
The only true freedom on this earth, comes to man, by a spiritual birth,
Through the Liberty in Jesus Christ, when in Him they receive New Life.
