The Stars Twinkle

I was on guard to defend the border
In any war time it is done by an order
I was happy with only one bright hope
Felt no pain at all while exercising on rope

She was to deliver third child
The news itself got me wild
I was to be dad again
She was at home and awaited labor pain

I was at home to witness the delivery
It was conditional leave given in hurry
I was to report back if was sent with any intimation
I was not at all worried about any situation

Oh, God what is this happening
Wife is hale and hearty and no sign of labor pain
I was worried about her final stage
All family members were excited and ready to manage

I departed home with no good news
The delivery date was near and due
Upon reaching post, I got message
Wife had delivered a son in good health

I was in sky again with lots of excitement
It was one of the happiest moment
But alas! The happiness lived for short time
The child was no more and buried in short time

The child had developed some breathing problem
No doctor could provide help in time
He breathed his last and left deep scar
I was weeping in tent and world seemed very far

'The rose flower is no more' brother wrote in his letter
'It is beyond our reach' we can do no more
I cried and hit head on wall in disbelief
Cadets offered me some water to provide relief

I often go past by that memory
Pain is caused at heart and makes me sorry
I am helpless human being and can do nothing
Almighty is there to look after and take care for something

The stars twinkle in sky
I see his reflection and try to identify
Think often where he would have been placed!
A position carved in my mind can never be replaced

Child in our home

It hurts most when dear one is lost
Mentally shaken, bodily broken and paying heavy cost
Lovely child has occupied beautiful mind
What a pain and agony when not to find

"We have rose like child in our home" wrote brother
You are father now and so is nice health of mother
He was third child after marriage and I was thrilled
My heart was full of joy and completely filled

I was to be her bed side when the date was given
I impatiently waited for that day to be driven
I was divinely shine on her face with satisfaction
She was damn happy with our growing relation

I was back from frontier posting and had left her home
We are expecting new born and awaited welcome
Nothing happened in those days of my leave period
She carried on with no result and left me annoyed

After resumption of my duty I received good news
I was unlucky to be her side and clearly view
Still I was happy that it was over with no more difficulty
I prayed earnestly and bowed head silently

"God has taken over your child" brother lamented loss
New born was dead after few days with many questions to pose
He was not afforded good treatment as doctors were on leave
It was vacation period and they were in hurry to leave

I rushed home and took the stock of situation
She was in deep shock and out of normal continuation
I felt helplessness at sudden departure of child
But alas! If that was the destiny we should not act as blind

Accept the fate and come to the terms
We all have to go one by one in turn
But sometime it derails out thoughts
We go blank and unnecessary advice is sought

I’m Proud Of Having A NORMAL Delivery

Child birth,
Which one is healthier;
And happier?

Is it natural delivery
or Ceasarian delivery?

One is (self) delivered,
another is (surgeon's help) to be delivered;

One is delivery by individual and self,
Another is a procedure carried out by surgeon
through Caesarian section;

A mother once said, I heard,
This is my child
I delivered this child;

I felt the pain,
enjoyed the pain,
with trembling of my thighs;

I am proud of having a NORMAL delivery,
It is a pleasant experience for everybody.

With full awareness

A light went off but simple thought entered
All the life she took enough of care and catered
Not single moment we missed and lived together
She has now afforded me an opportunity to be called father

Her belly was slowly coming up in defiance
I was dreaming of it and had completer reliance
The baby may come out and find the new world
What does baby may know whether it is hot or cold?

She may come near and whisper in my ear
“Baby will be in belly for three fourth of an year”
We should be careful not to hurt any injury
We must live in happiness and be merry

I was in full agreement with her and gave nod
It was not in our hand now and awaited final call from God
The rest of the time may pass of easily and we shall be normal
The baby will finally make presence on countdown with arrival

We were dreaming day and night with full awareness
It was all the more anxiety and natural keenness
Baby was assuming shape and awaited divine blessings
We were careful and eager to make not any messing

She would catch my hand in disbelief
Though she used to remain in pain and pray for relief
I was helpless in not helping her out
The course was open before us and it was thus all about

It was natural result coming out from willing act
The baby was coming out as result of it
We were ready to accept it as real fact
As it was filling us with joy with no option to react

She will move her hand often on womb
It was surfacing with uneven surface like tomb
May be it was shaping like some monument
We had all the way happy moments

She feared some pain at last moment
I too was cautious about her movement
She was not allowed to move with some load
She was forbidden to travel even in vehicle on road

Finally a day arrived and she complained of labor
We rushed her to maternity home as was advised for
She was taken immediately to the room
We could notice all around babies’ boom

We all eagerly waited at the exit door
Any time doctor was expected to come near
And announce the good news we long awaited
It was to come soon as I feared to be fainted

Baby’s cry brought me to immediate sense
There was good news to relieve us from being tense
It was going to be a reality as we had wished
The long wait was finally over and finished

Curious Delivery Indeed

Average duration of
Human pregnancy is 273 days
We heard of a delivery
Just a day's back
And delivery took place
After 255 days
Though seemingly premature
It was not at all
But a perfect delivery
As expected
All safe and fine
Normally a child has one mother only
But a lot of mothers delivered this
And it was delivered not at home,
Hospital, operation theatre,
Why it was not delivered on earth
It was delivered at a place
Which can be reached
Only after 255 days of travel
And at times speeding at
Twenty thousand kilometers per hour
No doctor, nurse why for that matter
No one attended the delivery
All were remotely controlled
Yet the delivery was safe
The child landed smooth
Descending gently
On the land
And believe the child is already
On the move
Taking photographs
Collecting samples
Doing anything which its mothers
Ask it to do remotely controlling
Its each movement
Let us congratulate the mothers
Who conceived the child
And let us complement them
For safely delivering it
Let us wish they conceive similar children
And deliver them at farther destinations
Let us pray that the child
Named curiosity
Stay there healthily and longer
And keep performing assigned tasks
On the surface of mars, the planet
Curious delivery indeed

A Crying Child

Inside my heart there's a crying child
Still remains the pain of the past
Still is there aline in pain
O, Child don't you know that?
There are truths in life won't be ever changed
All the time they stay the same
All the time they remain the pain
Over and over they revive the ache
O, Child those lost childhood days
O, Child and who can bring back the past
They are unknown inside of your heart
The longing to the unknown
Unlived
Deprived
Strange
O, Lost childhood days
O, Child Cry Cry
May your innocent tears brings back the time
O, Child may a magic take you over there
May the time stops once again right there
May the time washes away your pain
O, Child still there are tears uncried
O, Child still the happiness is lost inside your eyes.

One more rose

One more rose in our family
We all remained awake wearily
It was expected at any time
The child’s cry made clock to tick that time

We all noted arrival from heaven
The prophesy from elders was proven
It is good omen and sign in the family
Everybody must rejoice and accept it happily

Many people die childless with so much to their regret
It is blessing from heaven so not to be taken as bad luck or fate
Not all people may be that much lucky or have it with choice
So early morning cry from child was heard like cuckoo’s voice

“I will be called grandpa” how much joy it generated
Gave enough of joy and occasion was certainly to be celebrated
My feet were taking unusual steps to spread news
Though it was known to family members and to others very few

Family is like garden with all the members as beautiful flowers
Everybody takes you very seriously with respect as followers
So it becomes duty of family head to celebrate arrival as grand occasion
Throw gorgeous party and make it known to all about addition

It is unique as well routine too for all of us
Life is built and enjoyed around with trust
One life is leaving behind for other to enter
The mother earth is heavenly place or center

Life is never ending mission
To stay permanently or leave behind is not our decision
We all know about the temporary refuge here
Leave without any notice take heavenly flight to reach there

I know that it will be moment of little happiness
But it gives moment of joy amidst lots of stress
Everybody forgets pain and sorrow for few seconds
As it is graceful occasion and certainly demands (celebration)

For Every Child

For every child who cries at night
Alone with shame in pain and fright

For every child who wants so much
To only feel a gentle touch

For the beaten child, who cries in pain
Whose tears run silent, like the rain

For the child used to satisfy lust
Who never learns to love or trust

For the child taken from her home
And made to feel so all alone

For the child whose home is just a shell
Where life becomes a living hell

For the child who smiles but cannot feel
Because of scars too deep to heal

For every child who yearns for love
I hope and pray to God above

To hear your cries and heal your pain
And give you back your life again

Sacred relation

"What on earth can be called sacred relation"?
One friend parried a direct question
"Why the query all of sudden"?
I was not prepared to answer even

He had lost mother recently
He was keeping quiet but asked gently
I understood pain from his eyes
Even though the death of his mother was long gone by

Right from the conception she is aligned with child
Her nature undergoes change and remains mild
Everybody takes special care of her
First happy moment is shared by sister

The family is heavily loaded with movement
The child is expected at any moment
Everybody at home is right on toe
Only the word is awaited with the signal "go"

Mother has no more reason to worry
Whole world is on her steps to carry
She has complete time to spend after child
Even after child troubles her or goes wild

Such beautiful mother is heavenly gift on earth
Attachment is such that we don't forget even after her death
The sadness on part of friend was easily understood
I decided to console him and firmly stood by

I knew by folk tales that mother was no less than goddess
You can see entire world in her or on face
If world has to owe anything to any one
Then mother stands the only chance and none else

I too became sentimental along with him and cried
I put maximum words to console him and earnestly tried
He was quiet reasonable but carried away by memory
He felt so sad and had certain reasons to worry

I feel irritated at the news of mother's death
If that really happens to me then what aftermath!
I found no answer and winked at the blue sky
The birds were returning home for next day to fly

Give This Child What She Needs

Give this child what she needs
Love
Give this child what she needs
Shelter
Give this child what she needs
Prayers
Give this child what she needs
Some food and water
Give this child what she needs
Good parents
Give this child what she needs
Good manors
Give this child what she needs
A smoke free home
Give this child what she needs
Peace and happiness
Give this child what she needs
To know God
Give this child what she needs
Your guidance
Give this child what she needs
Clothes
Give this child what she needs
Your support
Give this child what she needs
Some family time
Give this child what she needs
A nice bath every day
Give this child what she needs
Some discipline
Give this child what she needs
A warm bed to sleep on

Pain shifts at birth.

A mother’s delivery ends with pain.
A child’s birth begins with pain.
Her cry is over when she delivered.
Its cry begins when it is delivered.

Pain is not a pain
When it brings joy.

Cancer

he went to the doctor because of
a pain in his chest.
they gave him a physical and ran every test.
the doctor told him:
the results will come back within one week
then we'll sit and we'll speak.
the results came back, just like he said
and with it bad news, of which he had dread.

CANCER! how can that be, i am only thirty three.
what will happen, what can i do.
i have a family just like you.
what will happen to my children
and my lovely wife, how will she
survive in this uncertain life?

two kids to raise and her husband not there.
what is GOD thinking, does'nt he care.
i'll accept death, be it as may.
but i always dreamt with my children i'd play.

now with the bad news he had to face the family.
should he tell them the truth, or tell them a lie.
but sooner or later he would die.
that night with tears in his eyes
he told his family he was going to die.
the time i have left on this earth only GOD can tell.
and if i'll go to heaven, or if i'll go to hell.

so while i am here, i want to share my entire life
with my family, because with you is where i want to be.
we're going to do all the things that we've
never done before, like take a trip to the shore.

all the sports that we wanted to do
fishing, boating, hunting, hiking
and just some quality time all alone.
for i don't know when i'll be coming home.

i want you all to remember this:
this is not words of good-bye
for we'll see each other on the other side.

CANCER: THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU TAKE THAT DRAG
FOR IT MAY BE YOUR VERY LAST.

The Car Problem

I

My mother, to shop went,
With me she went.
For my brother we bought
Many toy cars.
Then we left,
To our Home Sweet Home.
There gave cars to him,
Then played with cars he.

II

Now one night:
That was at the past.
Went we like usual
To granny’s Sweet Home.
Me bro. showed there
A child, a toy car,
Then The Car Problem began,
And the child cried high for it.

3

All was tired
From the child’s cry.
His parents were
Like not there at all.
Then my bro. gave him his toy car,
And the child stopped,
And my bro. cried high.
The Car Problem, a calamity,
Then ended later on
After many good days of this beautiful world.

Blessed With Charm

I wished her to be blessed with charm
As she had chosen me forever with warmth
There was no other happiness than this occasion
I was moved with great attachment and compassion

As life moves on with great speed
We are blinded by lust and greed
We forget to take into account and don't heed
As if it is unnecessary and without any need

Where is the time to think about all this at any stage?
When life moves on with the speed of jet age
Relation, attachment, joy and everything is left behind
One little break in life and they are required to be found

'I am dying of a wish' and it must be fulfilled
Wife told with deep anguish and pain but smiled
I got the pulse of thought and looked at her face
How could she be feeling in this worldly race?

I was suddenly brought to live world
Everything was pushed to as if to cold
I got worried for the moment and thought
She is right in her assertion and timely sought

Now I was my turn to cry loud and worry
As I had discharged my obligation but still felt sorry
Was it not the little displeasure from almighty?
To keep me childless and later on feel pity

I am still religious person and believe
In all good deeds and honestly strive
For whatever I can have in running the life
She has too stayed with me as wonderful life

I brushed aside certain ideas and again got back to normal
Left to fate and waited for news with soft dismissal
'Luck may smile any time' I consoled self and prayed
I felt bad and dejected but not at all dismayed

'You may soon be dad' she whispered
Came close to heart and murmured
You have been blessed with news
Think of bright morning and don't forget to look dews

Endless offing..

Leaving the newly married wife at home,
going for the green pasture all alone,
after a month he hears the pregnancy,
happy at heart, but no urgency,
return home to share the joy,
birth of the child arrives,
through the cell and internet,
happy father still at work,
shares the news with his friends,
connect with home every night,
to see the baby and the wife.
She looks like a moon, far away,
lonely man drools away.

lonely woman has lost the luster,
lonely nights have made her a pitcher,
dried tears hardened the pillow,
burden in the mind so sorrow,
Time flies and the baby is five,
return home to be alive,
as a man and a wife on the bed,
an over worked man and
an over stressed out woman,
made the next baby in a day.
As the man has to provide,
and the woman has to protect,
millions live life in pretext.

The Years That Are No More

Fall and fall and fall the rain,
I know that life is such a pain.....
Some memory about my past, gone days,
Brings tears that fall and fall in pain.....
The days are gone and gone for good
Then why my heart still feels the pain?
The good happy time and sad, sad things,
The sharing of life and those bonds of pain
I see those thoughts, those feelings no more
Some time has passed and left the pain.....
The years are gone and are there no more
But there is that pain and pain and pain.....

A no to blow

Though I did not believe in blow
the inner thoughts started to flow
t restrained my stupid action
I had violently offered my reaction

He was my real elder brother
His behavior always made us to bother
he was trying to destabilize
the father had taken enough care to mobilize

we were knitted together and stayed as joint family
lived under one roof and spent the life happily
as is with joint family, we simply followed
All had complete freedom and in fact were allowed

The elders look up on others to cooperate
sometimes they get together and openly narrate
Their continued struggle and pain to occupy the dignified space
how it was do or die struggle for them in the race?

We never meant to be impolite to the elders
They carried all burden on their solders
we were never brought in picture at any stage
They labored hard to keep us safe and well managed

The peaceful life sometimes is violently disturbed
No one thinks or takes pain to go into cause and probe
There is deep feeling for things to let off or pass
the situation is thus saved to keep peace

All members really desire to stay intact
this realized by them and understood in fact
No one dares to go out of the set establishment
it is strong bond that stops them from such movement

When situation comes to the exchange of blows
the things do not remain with natural flow
everything is disturbed and peace is pushed away
the need to patch up is there but does not find the way

Elders are worried and try to maintain good rapport
it has been built up with lots of pain and efforts
it is as good as undoing of their life time labor
rest of the family members bear ill will and harbor

I witnessed such incidence one day
every member was crossing the limit to come in the way
it was going out of hand and creating suffocation
this was not good for us and showed clear indication

No right thinking man may want uncertainty
He may try to maintain it with dignity
Any word of dishonor may upset his integrity
He might have not expected such eventuality

Some one has to enter into fray and stave off the situation
There can not be peace with its continuation
it has to be brought down with strict hand
You can never live with such negative trend

Being eldest I had no patience to wait
it was disturbing and threatening to seal our fate
There was none who could bring it under control
the result was clearly seen as writing on the wall

The garden

I couldn’t take my eyes off the scene
As it was unusual for me to have seen
The death of son who was born some hours back
Everybody in home were stunned and in shock

The garden comes to life when season comes up with flowers
It was evident from the fact that earth had enough of rain showers
My garden too was blessed with arrival of beautiful baby
We all had prayed for it so song and became so much happy

The happiness was short lived as child breathed little
We all tried hard but he breathed for a while and failed to settle
This was totally unexpected and sent us in shock waves
He brought the hopes for short while and caved in

I was given no room to think about the sad departure
The child was our great hope for the future
Even though I had daughter and son in family
The child was welcome and we missed him sadly

If all the flowers in garden boom freely and survive
No one may have faith in god and believe
Some flowers fade early and some stay for longer
It is philosophy of life that we all are stage actor

I consoled self and left it to the best counsel
Even though it was difficult to come out and feel well
I gave final look at the dead son and dropped few tears
The grief was proving difficult and taking me over

I know it is very difficult to bear and act
It is not in our control also to deny the facts
Life is temporary stage and one will have to leave
There is no other option and we got to believe

Love Vigilantes

Oh Ive just come
From the land of the sun
From a war that must be won
In the name of truth
With our soldiers so brave
Your freedom we will save
With our rifles and grenades
And some help from god
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
Ive got to go home
Ive been so alone, you see
You just cant believe
The joy I did recieve
When I finally got my leave
And I was going home
Oh I flew through the sky
My convictions could not lie
For my country I would die
And I will see it soon
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
Ive got to go home
Ive been so alone, you see
When I walked through the door
My wife she lay upon the floor
And with tears her eyes were sore
I did not know why
Then I looked into her hand
And I saw the telegram
That said that I was a brave, brave man
But that I was dead
I want to see my family
My wife and child waiting for me
Ive got to go home
Ive been so alone, you see

I Would Do For You

The Mother looks into the eyes of her child,
With the love that is so deep and true
Then she hugs her child and loves her child,
And says, “ there is nothing that I would not do for you”.
She loves her child more than she does herself
She’ll places her child above all others
For the child she would die, And not even ask why,
As the child is hers, and she is the mother.
She knows she’ll will always be there for her child
No matter the pain or a reason why,
Just to see it smile or hear it laugh
It is the greatest joy that a mother wont hide.
She will follow her child throughout her life
That being the reason why she says she lives
The love is so great for a mother and her child,
That there is nothing that she would not do or give.
She thinks of her child constantly when she is alone
She knows no pain or discomfort when the child is near,
She is only here to make her child happy and wise
While hoping never to bring her child a tear.
I now look into the eyes of my wife,
The woman who I love with a love so deep and true,
As a mother loves her child, a man he loves his wife
And with her in mind I say, “ there is nothing that I wouldn't do for you”.
