Mirror (Depression)

I stare in to the miror.
A figure stares back at me.
The person I hardly regonise,
but I know that its me.

I think of how happy I once used to be.
It all seems so long ago now.
As if it were a life time ago.

Looking back I think why and how?
Where did it all go so wrong?
How the hell did it come to this?
To me wanting and attempting to die?

Staring at the mirror, starring into space.
I wonder what will become of me?
A corpse or a walking zombie?

Now I cant remember a time when I felt happy.
I never knew of a time when I felt so bright.

The old mirror

I look in the mirror tainted and old
What do i see? ?
I see this woman staring back at me
She does'nt speak, she does'nt smile
She looks lost with a frown

I look in the mirror is it something from the 50's?
What do i see? ?
I see this man staring back at me
He does'nt wave he does'nt nod
He stands and stares with a glare

I look in the mirror the frame varnished dark
What do i see? ?
I see this girl staring back at me
She does'nt laugh or d a cheeky face
She turns away and begins to cry

I look in the mirror round and smoke stained
What do i see? ?

Glasses and combed over hair

I wonder who they are

When You Want Something You Can't Have

I can still remember all the pain that I felt, I can't believe that back then the thought of you, or sound of your voice could make me melt

I can still remember all the pain that you caused and how in the end my heart was the one shattered in pieces on the floor, but what I can't believe is that after all that I just wanted you more

It was like I was the stupid moth to your flame, and in the end I got burned and have only myself to blame, I knew I couldn't have you but that didn't stop me from wanting you, I guess I hoped maybe deep down inside you wanted me too

I knew from the start liking you was pointless, but that didn't stop me and in the end I was the one cleaning up my big mess

To make matters worse you knew how I felt all along, I pegged you for a kind, sweet guy but in the end I guess I was wrong

Back then it felt like the worse kind of pain and it felt like i couldn't go on, but looking back on it now, I realized it made me smarter and it made me strong

So in the end even though I was the that was one hurting oh so bad, I must admit as I look back on it I'm kind of glad, because you taught me a valuable lesson in what happens when you want something you can't have

That The Rain Rains On

I stand by the grave the old-time grave

In the drift of the falling rain ;
My heart goes back to an afternoon

In the spring of life again,
When mother was carried the churchyard thro',

When April was dead and gone ;
And a voice said ' Happy, happy, happy,

Happy the corpse that the rain rains on.'

My heart went back much further yet,

To a time when mother and I

She plucked a lilac all drooping wet

Swimming The Past Time

Disappear between the space of dust
In a smoke, within the light
Time moves in any speed
Continuously without tired no rest
In a chime of turbulence
Swimming back to the past
For the broad river back to early creek
Unfold the memories of past ages
In the album of experience, our old life
Reversing tears back to enter the eyes
Revisiting old smiles back on lips one more time
Wandering all before just before now
Still, we moving forward heading toward the future

We heading to estuary to be as a part of wise ocean

Time And Tears

I didn't cry all of these tears just to have you show up here again
I didn't lie awake all these nights to have you come walking back in
I didn't change my whole life around, not to mention my dreams and my plans
To have you come back with your same ol' act thinking that i'll understand
Time and tears have mended the pain
Healed all the hurt and changed everything

Pains of Divorce

His entire life was in his pocket
Starting from his daughters hair locket.
A few pictures of him and his family
Reminding him of how things used to be.

A crumbled up note saying:
Daddy ! I love you - I want you home.
This is where you belong.
The divorce had not gone too well
He had put his family through a living hell.

He felt the pressures getting to him
Of things he did and places he’d been
Of a life that he had been ashamed
He turned to alcohol to ease the pain.

They say with friends he had been
Who Turned to crime and to sin.
they convinced him that
This business was easy prey
And with this they could get away.

He got caught and served some time
Got out of jail and was doing fine.
Then he ran across the same old crowd
Drinking in a bar and getting loud.

Since he had met them his life had changed
He left the bar in a fit of rage.
This rage soon opened up his mind
And he fell to the floor and began to cry.

He asked himself: how is it! that we lose our way
We leave our families and go astray.
How is it! That love is like wine
It gets you drunk and leaves you blind.

How is it! That we fall under loves spell
It makes us happy- or it puts us thru hell.
How is it! That we see faults in others
But not in ourselves.
Do we think that we could hide it
And no one can tell.

He was putting the blame on him falling in love
And wanting to give his family so much more
That he lost himself and forgot the score.

He recalled: I once felt like a king on his throne
And now I’m left all alone.
I knew what it was like to make love
Under the stars above.
I would feel your heart beating on top of mine
And thought that we’d be together till the end of time.
Those beautiful nights and those fantastic days
Where I would make love to you in every way.

Like a fool I let this all slip away.

He found religion on that night
Turned his life around, and began his plight
He would fight to get his family back
He would not give up the slack.

The pains of divorce changed his way
And he knew he would never stray.
His wife saw the change in him
And decided to take him back in.
His daughter now happy as can be
Because once again she had her family.

Cluttered

I've been thinking in circles and triangles
trying to help you figure out the feelings
mine were already figurative to you, but
added yourself, subtracted him and divided by me
equation would've been balanced for the time being

Oh! But to you, my love was just, an aura
never seen before, a touch never felt in the heart.
it was there even before the time itself existed
nothing to change about it, turn around,
crawl back or change myself in that case

More of that or lesser self-respect
then enter the heroine, not the drug
but in a way you were, I was addicted
I wasn't the villain, not the hero either
not in your eyes at least, sigh! Smiles

I watched it all burn upon my inner eye
triangles and squares, feets and acres,
whole books and empty sheets of memories
thinking in circles again
thinking is circled now

Love is deviant in ways that seem impossible
beautiful and unequivocal than the most
but no one gives a rat's arse, do they?
Consumer zombie minds, Hah! Dead walking!
Welcome to the future bro! My friend told me

Time do changes most people
so do feelings that slay the time
nothing stays the same for that long
but I wasn't the most, you knew it all along
thus the dilemma, I figured, I understood.
