Round shining ball

I see it as round shining ball
Just emerging from distant horizon’s wall
Scaling the height with lots off light
I can’t bear it with my open sight

It was dark and pathetic lull
Not a sound or movement in full
It remained in control as if for long
I was not sure of being right or wrong

Everybody said “nothing is permanent”
I thought and decided to go along for a moment
May be all phases are of short duration
This should not evade the main question

How frightening was deadly night?
Eyes could not see more even with powerful sight
Why there is no life in entire universe?
Why it is looked with so much gloom and curse?

I could think no further in absence of light
People might have thought enough of it to write
How could it be explained without real exposure?
I was about to get the answer for sure

Slowly and silently some foot steps were heart
Night was stepping in to pack up and depart
I could see wearily a worry on her face
She was certainly going to be a gone phase

Why some one beat a bell in the morning
I had heard it in the late evening
It had same intensity as that of setting dark
Even dog had acknowledged it with loud bark

This is different type of awakening
The pace is prepared and quickening
What is this in distance a ray with dampening hope?
Night is trying to balance along with her black rope

The bells are increasing intensity and some prayers are heard
Birds too are making sound with lots of hope and not to be feared
Yes, it reminds me of yesterday when I was not prepared to think
Today it is emerging with lots of light and forces eyes to wink

My hopes are coming to life with lots of expectations
Even though it had received in advance some indication
I believed in natural cycle to be repeated at some interval
This has been proved amply on the scene by son’s arrival

The tree branches, birds zoom and make some sound
As the rise up with slowly assuming the bright shape of round
Dews, earth and even wind acknowledge its powerful sway
I surely pushed the pessimistic views not to stay but go away

Let passing of each day is marked with glory
Everyone to remain delighted with no more gloom and sorry
It is how the life is to be shaped along with nature
It is assured with outcome as bright future

Graced by almighty

It was unique night for me to spend with anxiety
It was first time that I was graced by almighty
I was long time that I was expecting arrival of baby
I did experience it today as it might have been felt by man

I could feel uncontrollable eagerness and so much joy within
She had gained extra weight in body even though she was lean and thin
She never regretted carrying it over for quite number of months
She counted each day and prayed God not to offer unpleasant death

As the pregnancy carry risk of so many things hence feared
It is God’s blessings and do pay off even after so much labored
If He is wishing to grace the arrival nothing can happen
But hardly there are any chances of occurring it even

I was pacing feet with lots of prayers
It was the only way to act as conveyers
It is belief that God listens to the earnest desire
I did the same with heart felt prayers and hoped happily to retire

I had no time to observe the nature outside
Even though the night was dark and covered very wide
I could not pick the signal of quite and calmness
She too was eager to witness the new face

The sound of air was gently heard
The nest too was quite with no noise of birds
I silently heart the increasing pain from wife
As if she was going to be operated upon with surgical knife

I missed number of beats in sequence
It was puzzling me about her inside presence
She was undergoing tremendous pain
Even though she was offered comfortable space to lie in

Life was never to be same again for us as couple
One more entry will be marked by ending the status of double
We may be now added with crying baby
We won’t now afford to remain inactive or lazy

The pain was felt by me outside as some movement was heard
I had worry about her and something bad was almost feared
All of sudden cry broke all my thought chain for a while
I had gone extra miles in my dreamy world in different style

I heard a calm and quite call
There was only little cry and quietness overall
The little one had arrived by giving signal on scene
The face lines let loose the tension and go away never to be seen

A moon and stars

Oh, little little shining stars
you all stay very far
The sky get lit up with silver rays
we enjoy dark night with nothing to pay

What a lovely scene to be enjoyed by an eye
all narrow thoughts disappear but want to fly
there is now question of 'ifs', 'buts' and 'why'
you twinkle all the times as if feeling very shy

Galaxy with starts function as family
widely spread but as an single entity
beautiful place created by an almighty
hang in balance in a place called very empty

No wind observed with little life on surface
still there is invasion on sanctity with mad race
what a beautiful reflection when struck by light
never seen such glow in deadly night

An open object with beautiful imagination
poets and writers raise many questions
how you look so beautiful yet with black patches
very far from land but eyes to catch

Who has read real reflections?
how can it be termed as dead action?
millions watch over with silent reaction
eyes do not close even for fraction

There may not be single life to be seen
yet beautifully depicted with lively scene
lots of praise and admiration from laymen
only lover's heart can feel pulse in human

You have remained there for centuries
with so many questions and queries
you were never a source of worry
many hearts have wept by expressing sorry

Hand in hand to last forever
many doubts in mind however
yet very cool and pleasant feeling
submission to come very late but almost willing

O moon, o stars, you are close to chest
hearts beat fast when yo move to west
you remain there with never ending show
the sky should illuminate with fine glow

Not a single ray can cause harm
cool in nature yet creation of charm
pulses beat in isolation and feel very warm
birds may soon go up to reach and swarm

Where is fear of feeling lonely?
the nature has manged it solely
they hang in balance but does not loose the height
we crumble on ground with our own weight

We are beautifully gifted with insight
though there may be sweet memory to fight
it may make us sad when see the emergence of moon
all sadness to disappear immediately or very soon

Though mild object with limited role
it has ever fascinated and stole
our mind and heart at regular interval
it has been great moment to watch your arrival

Sun-Woman

Let the sun show
over the hills, I love it so
Life is the sun,
the sun is life
let life rise, brightly, slowly, funly
let life never set.

But it does.

light turns to night, the
darkness comes
my eyes close slowly
sun, please don’t go.
please don’t go.

but wait-in the light of the setting sun
I see some hope
a slender shape
walks over the hills in the distance
the sun halls to a stop, seems
to look at the figure
seems to stare, decide if it’s worthy
then the sun starts flying,
back up into the sky.
the figure keeps walking, closer,
closer.
the sun keeps moving, as fast as light itself,
into the middle of the sky above me.

the shape is hope, hope itself
she is light, and for me, the only
way to avoid darkness.

She is not far now, I see her face.
she says, “Are you all right? ”
“Don’t worry, ” I tell her, “the sun is not
my enemy anymore. He is my ally.”
She smiles at my healing face, and then I say,
“You were my hope, you are my hope. You
are my only hope of avoiding the darkness.”
“And you are the same to me, my love, ”
She says.

I jump up and I take her hands,
and I sing, “My love, my hope,
when you go the darkness comes,
but as long as you come back
light will shed on my weary face.
I owe my life to you, Sun-Woman.
I owe my life to you, my love.
I owe my life to you.
I owe my life to you.”

Aura

The air was dark
The moon was dark
The night was dark
The cloud was dark
The heat was dark
The stars were black
The birds were black
The eyes were black
The shadows were black
The planes were black
A sound of night
The hearts of night
A chase at night
A fall at night
No help at night
The night is night
Where is my sight
I have no sight
Your light was sight
No light no sight
No one in sight
The dark in sight
Don't call my name
What's my name
They call my name
That's not my name
Who said its my name
I have no name
You took my same
It was our same
She was our same
She's now your same
Its all the same
I'm not the same
Judas and my hand
You took my hand
'I do' my hand
You kissed my hand
You broke my hand
You fell my hand
A tear in sand
A heart in sand
A body in sand
Alone in sand
A dust in sand
At home in sand.

A way of living

The life can't be taken easily
It must be lived and led happily
It is full of enterprises and adventure
We can make it fully secure

We can mould it in many ways
For longer period it will not stay
We have to take precaution and care
Otherwise it will lead us no where

The black clouds will not remain for long
It may prove us sometimes wrong
We are not alone In this universe
We should not lament or shed the tears

The problems may not be of permanent nature
We must fight it out and make everything sure
The way must be cleared before it goes out of hand
The approach should be positive along with trend

As the dark shadow gets longer in the evening
The next day may witness bright morning
The pain and agony in due course may disappear
You need not worry or live under fear

We have nothing permanent at stake
On some of our methods, we need to apply brake
Life is not simple cake walk
Our Acton must speak louder than the talk

It may turn tide in seconds
The water may dry up in ponds
You may be watching it helplessly
So make it worth while and don't spend it aimlessly

One has to act sensible and wise
It must be full of enthusiasm and promise
There has to be made some cut on the ice
Then life will be worthwhile and look very nice

Everybody may desert you at the end
Even friends may not remain as friend
You will wondering with lots of confusion
You may come out of with your wisdom and vision

Do something worthwhile and meaningful
We have come here not to act as fool
Then there won't be any difference between us and animal
You will face lots of humiliation and dismissals

The sand can't retain foot prints for long
The short term planning may prove wrong
You will get no more hints or warning
You only have to have good beginning

There may be no use crying over split milk
You should differentiate between cotton and silk
You aptness in handling may prove blessings In disguise
You should see the ship is at mid sea and cruise

Life still remains adventurous and full of charm
There is absolutely smooth sailing with no harm
It is to be lived with spirit and full of enthusiasm
There is no scope for withdrawal or any type of passim

Try to Love and live with all moments
It needs no arguments or comments
One has to make it worth while and beautiful
It is powerful medium or tool

For the first time

I wept for the first time in open
No one could see my wounds reopened
They had started to get little healing touch
Big tragedy in life to have occurred as such

It traveled towards sky and came back without echo
There were no takers for my grief as she had left ago
So much vastness and big horizons but of no avail
My throat soared and voice tried hard but failed

Under same open sky we had spent hours in dark nights
Only stars twinkled to witness as if to consider it right
No foot steps heard in silence and nothing could be sighted
Joy was over coming as we were overwhelmed and delighted

Birds are peacefully housed in nest with occasional sound
Not even hunters are in search of pry and seen around
We two are under the big tree shed as leafy crown
Too much involved in silence as if purchased with leisure to own

She won’t let me know what trouble is brewing her inside
She will stare at blue sky and keep eyes open and wide
As if to suggest me what I will do in her absence!
There dropped some star tail and again silence

I failed to catch her message
She was to leave early from this cage
She got wind of her demise
She held my hand to repeat the promise

I shall remain with you forever
Either of us may have to last long however
This is life cycle and we must adhere to
Love is precious thing and very true

I remembered her with each word
She was very much careful afterward
Neither did she utter not made lips to sink
She was making bid not to allow me to think

I pressed her hand to feel warmth
She was sinking fast with the closing teeth
Someone was calling her from the distance
She opened her eyes and looked at me once

I saw one last long flash of light
She made desperate attempt to fight
I reassured her not to worry too much
She heaved a sigh with my gentle touch

I dropped her at door step and waited
Her arrival at home was nearly stated
No one bothered about her late arrival
I took deep breathe for small interval

In morning she did not open her window
I made forceful entry to enter and know
What was actually taking place inside?
She was there motionless with eyes open wide

Distant Light

Distant light flickers an invitation of hope.
In reaching it, there will be sanctification.
Dimness that surrounds the eyes
will be forgotten.
Black holes that open the heart
will be discarded.
Let the distant light come closer.
Let the distant light be a friend.

Shallow water cannot drown soul.
It can only hinder the passage.
Dampening the spirit as it frolics
like a moonbeam across the mind.
Distance lends unhappiness.
Let the distant light shine bright.
Let the distant light be a guide.

In closets of blackness the hands
seek an opening in the shadows.
They find nothing, but the eyes
focus on a distant light that
calls like a radio in the night.
Let the distant light embrace.
Let the distant light be closer.

In an emptiness of broken glass
there is a pattern to salvation.
Frame the light like fire in the glance,
walk towards it. Find escape.
Let the distant light be strong.
Let the distant light shine forever.

What is the distant light that shines?
What is its meaning in a journey?
This is an answer not easily explained.
This is a hope not readily known.
Let the distant light continue.
Let the distant light always shine.

No reason to feel sad

I have no reason to feel sad and look gloomy
Even though the day is dark and cloudy
It may rain any time to bring some respite
The night may look an the absence of light

The nature has interlinked with our nature too
We too grow energetic and turn pale when go through
All seasons affect our thinking with climatic change
Our fate too with some hopes remain in balance and hang

Though the natural disasters create panic and fear
It brings havoc and turmoil for us to heavily bear
It may leave us in state of great shock with lots of tears
We have no where to go and tell someone to hear

It is good to be associated with climatic condition
It may inspire us to drive with powerful ignition
It is time for us to rise and match the event
It will be made memorable with resolute movement

Even though they are inseparable part
We adjust accordingly from the very start
We plan it in such way that it looks natural
There is no clash or apparently any quarrel

We may fear from nature but do not adopt exactly
Even though it may be in our disfavor heavily
Dark clouds do not inspire us to hold pessimistic views
At the same time we will not go mild with morning dews

As the sun opens its arm to spread over vast area
The land may claim it as its right and make strong plea
We do not leave it to heavenly bodies to decide
We may plan it forcefully to go over very wide

The weather has limited role to play
It may have time bound sway
Everybody may try to extract maximum
No one likes to share at the level of minimum

Even trees shed their difference to wear new out look
How pages look when they are compiled in nice book?
The trees may have new branches along with green leaves
This will definitely inspire and lead you to believe

Our heart can bear greenery all the time to come
As nature encourages non living organs to welcome
We human being empower to adapt certain new things
It will be liked by all and be appreciative of something

Even blind may notice change through ears
Same wind and change has taken place for years
It is human mind to feel and changes to make
Complete surrender to nature means nothing at stake

My Eyes Remained Wide Open

I wondered
What made
The dark black night
Shine
With so much light
I heard a sound
Moved my eyes
All around
To find her standing
Her body
Draped in a black veil
Her moon like face
Emitting dazzling light
That made the dark night
Bright
Her mesmerizing beauty
Left me gaping
My eyes
Remained wide open
Could not believe
Beauty
Can be so captivating

As an artist

As an artist, I have developed some liking
Think about natural objects and surroundings
It is gift from nature with divine feelings
Anybody would exclaim and start praising

Right from the early breeze to down of the day
It is Almighty’s world seen exclusively from different way
There is so much mystery around all the objects
It is quite natural to arouse interest with subjects

The sweet melody is heard in the morning
It has become almost casual with warning
One has to rise early in order to witness nature
This is right occasion to observe in proper manner

The wind blow slowly with cool breeze
One may feel fresh but will not freeze
The feet may experience dews presence
No noise or pollution and complete peace hence

Slowly darkness escapes from the clutch
The bright ray has to descend with light to switch on
Only red shine in the extreme end of sky
As if the earth is awaiting and feel very shy

The advent of light completely change the scene
Everybody is gearing up and activity is clearly seen
It has brought new message of challenge
Everybody may try to solve it with different range

I have noticed from morning to evening
A complete change from time to time with swing
The mood change on each and every moment
You have golden opportunity to observe the movement

I see the rays coming out from dark clouds
They silently move without making any sound
It is not their finest hour to go around
They may move in isolation and sometimes not even found

I compare it with autumn in life
Life may not be easy but torn with strife
I choose the color and try to depict
The nature is very kind and not that strict

It may sweep away many lives
The old people may depart as dry leaves
The new born may make it sweet with their cry
The atmosphere may be filled with enough of joy
I take less interest in autumn
I long for peace and solomony affirm
I stick to nature law and confirm
Complete allegiance with it and remain infirm

I wait for spring to come with message
A union in offing with very good passage
My brush move with different colors
To form beautiful rainbow indoors

I may not be able to supplement natural spirit
It will deem as if lantern is dimly lit
The sun may blind our eyes to look beyond
The artist may paint it by looking refection in pond

A dark clouds

Soon dark clouds may disappear
I may have no more fatigue to wear
It is time to wipe out the tears
High hopes with good wishes to hear

Hope and despair always go together
Storm my lash out but to wither
What else you can expect with rising of sun?
Life can’t be shaped at the point of gun

It has its natural process to follow
With time and passage it may grow
Nothing takes place before time
Even if you make it secondary or prime

Bright rays may reflect on the ground
New life may emerge and it is clearly found
Sun moves all over and makes round
It looks systematic and very sound

Light and darkness can’t remain together
One has to depart from the scene altogether
Light to lead to the sunny side of the hill
Dark always to discourage and weakening of will

Many may prefer dark side to remain in oblivion
They prefer to avoid field and sit in pavilion
No one may know the exact nature of their logic
There is clear thinking and pure magic

Why to expose in public and invite wrath?
No one is immortal and there is certain death
Why to run after a thing which is not sure?
Why not sit at home and doubly assure?

It is still a sign of pasism
Not all think of optisism
It is way of life to mould
On must try possibly whatever he could

It is not right for us to think about dark or light
Everything must be left to Him and his might
He is there to support in possible way
We must sincerely follow our conscience and pray

Dark may not remain longer than expected
Both the sides may equally be respected
In their absence how could we come to know?
We must surrender and gracefully bow

On should not get carried away with little success
It may soon eclipse and have its recess
It will be very difficult to absorb sudden shock
You won’t be able to hide your face and talk

There has to be clear instinct to follow current trend
Forget and forgive tendency and willingness to mend
It may certainly lead to the satisfaction of all
We must observe it with priority as day’s call

Rise and fall is inseparable part of human being
On e day you be poor and next day as king
It is cycle that repeats at definite interval
We must rejoice and feel happy at its arrival

A change to adapt

Life is awakened to new wishes
As the sun rays rushes
New things with new concept
I am ready to change and adopt

As the day may start to rise slowly
The mind will be occupied wholly
The powerful thrust made in the direction
The result is awaited with full throttle action

Not to worry about result or action there
The another drive is prepared to rush somewhere
All hectic activities for not losing the precious time
The mission is kept before eyes with full aim

The body is tiring out and wants some rest
As the legs are stretched and mind thinks for the best
Not a moment is wasted but given a little respite
More areas to open with strong urge and appetite

As the evening may be setting in few hours
The next plan may be prepared for long tours
What areas to be brought under control and supervision
The analytical study with far sight and long vision

The seeds are sown and now wait for rain drops
Next strategy or plan if any problem crops
Emergency or contingency plan for bale out and rescue
Enough of concentration on subjects if it is due

It is time to pack and preparation for departure
All worries locked in safe and no worry for future
Whole energy is focused for making it sure
The family to be surprised for making it doubly assured

The evening has to be made pleasant
Nothing should be missing or felt as absent
It has to be cheerful as was the start of the day
The struggle has been made to find the way

Nice dinner with little evening walk
Full relaxation and no more talk
Some gossips with playing children
Day to end nicely in silence zone

Mind may not rest that easily
As day was passed very happily
Nothing impeded the very good start
It was handled well with tact and art

Still mind is devil’s workshop
It is full of high rise and hopes
It will not end with little success
Finding out option for full access

Nothing is stored of previous day
Absolutely clear state of mind to find new way
Toiling whole day for new hope
Try to reach new height even with slope

Plus minus game in the night
Complete rest without any fight
Just to surrender Him and rest
Hope to rise again to deliver the best

No Dark

Why do we prefer dark more?
Some truths can’t be revealed better
If days are lovely and bright
We may feel shy and choose not to fight

So something can be hidden in night
As it won’t be reflected by light
It will not be observed by human trial
You have enough time later to offer denial

Some of the happiest moments are shared in night
Where you get lost in emotions in deem light
Nothing is seen by you in near vicinity
You want it to go unnoticed even if involves infidelity

Though dark its better
It had to happen sooner or later
Yet a fine and divine act
Not to shed a doubt or react

In dark, you have pulse
To beat and repulse
A feeling that keeps you together
Away from world and worries to bother

Not a gentle foot step is heard
It is dead silence and not even slight movement of bird
All in complete refuge of nature
Dreaming of bright day for future

We live in dark and believed in dark
As a wrong presume that it may hide the dog’s bark
Not a word may go out even if you whisper
But four walls have ears that may silently utter

Come out of shadow and dram for light
Truth may never be hidden if you are right
It may come little late but will not elude
You may be respected high even if known as rude

Two bright eyes

Bare eyes shine in night,
look so powerful and bright
Keep staring but not made known,
Seem they are made for my own

Say not words but also not hide,
just smile broad with eyes wide,
convey deep feelings with no regret,
bright and shining eyes speak not yet,

why close eyes alone?
and face not covered,
So eyes when shut,
face may reveal,

You close the eyes,
life come to an end,
glitter and shine,
smile peters out,

find me so close even not near,
distance more but mind fear,
eyes shut but separation bear,
Near to come is idea to cheer,

You may say you are around, ,
even go round but not found
with steps so gentle on ground,
little it heard with no sound,

Oh, two eyes,
just face unveil,
lower it down to neck,
Find me there just to check,

Eyes may shine,
face may reveal,
wounds may heal,
love may look real,

A beautiful start

Morning is poised for beautiful start
Dews are still on ground but ready to depart
Strill the birds are in nest but making little move
The nature is at its supreme and nothing to prove

The melodious voice starts emerging
The early morning is filled wih nice singing
The cuckoo is at her best with beautiful echo
We are just preparing with words to go

The darkness is slowly fading a way fine
The horizon is slowly illuminated with red shine
The night peace will be a forgone conclusion
No one may rememeber who made the intrusion

Ya it is not rememebred for the good
We need to go out in search of food
The wood may be looking so lovely and nice
We got to fulfill the comitment or promise

What is it to us with bright light
Nature is awakened with beautiful sight
We got to choos whether to go left or right
It is definitely not easy to find and fight

But the morning delight can’t be missed
Beautiful flowers are not to be plucked before being kissed
What a fragrance and lovely scented rose?
How elegantly they emerge and pose?

Everything can be missed but not early morning
We can’t wait for it to come after sad evening
The night as usual may bring restless peace
Hold the breath till you feel at ease

Just few steps out side the gate
Watch itout without being very late
Nature is there for you not to hate
You just breath heavily and clearly state

The Window

All night long, by a distant bell,
The passing hours were notched
On the dark, while her breathing rose and fell,
And the spark of life I watched
In her face was glowing or fading, -- who could tell? --
And the open window of the room,
With a flare of yellow light,
Was peering out into the gloom,
Like an eye that searched the night.

Oh, what do you see in the dark, little window, and why do you fear?
"I see that the garden is crowded with creeping forms of fear:
Little white ghosts in the locust-tree, that wave in the night-wind's breath,
And low in the leafy laurels the larking shadow of death."

Sweet, clear notes of a waking bird
Told of the passing away
Of the dark, -- and my darling may have heard;
For she smiled in her sleep, while the ray
Of the rising dawn spoke joy without a word,
Till the splendor born in the east outburned
The yellow lamplight, pale and thin,
And the open window slowly turned
To the eye of the morning, looking in.

Oh, what do you see in the room, little window, that makes you so bright?
"I see that a child is asleep on her pillow, soft and white,
With the rose of life on her tips, and the breath of life in her breast,
And the arms of God around her as she quietly takes her rest."

Music: An Ode

WAS it light that spake from the darkness,
or music that shone from the word,
When the night was enkindled with sound
of the sun or the first-born bird?
Souls enthralled and entrammelled in bondage
of seasons that fall and rise,
Bound fast round with the fetters of flesh,
and blinded with light that dies,
Lived not surely till music spake,
and the spirit of life was heard.

Music, sister of sunrise, and herald of life to be,
Smiled as dawn on the spirit of man,
and the thrall was free.
Slave of nature and serf of time,
the bondman of life and death,
Dumb with passionless patience that breathed
but forlorn and reluctant breath,
Heard, beheld, and his soul made answer,
and communed aloud with the sea.

Morning spake, and he heard:
and the passionate silent noon
Kept for him not silence:
and soft from the mounting moon
Fell the sound of her splendour,
heard as dawn's in the breathless night,
Not of men but of birds whose note
bade man's soul quicken and leap to light:
And the song of it spake, and the light and the darkness
of earth were as chords in tune.

The Rope

(stephanie davis)
In waters calm I sailed from shore
To see what I might see
And having never sailed before
I drifted aimlessly
A warm breeze rocked my boat until
In slumber I fell sound
But woke to find the light grown dim
And dark clouds gathering round
In haste I worked at turning back
But now the wind blew wrong
And when the night came cold and black
My strength was almost gone
But with one last small thread of hope
I bowed my head to pray
Then through the dark I saw a rope
And heard a calm voice say
Grab the rope
Hold it tight
In the distance
Shines a light
Neither fear
Nor feel alone
There is one
Wholl lead you home
I heard my heart beat loud and fast
But did as I was told
And with the rosey dawn at last
Dry land I did behold
I kissed the sandy banks and swore
My sailing days were through
But should I ever stray from shore
I know now what to do
Grab the rope
Hold it tight
In the distance
Shines a light
Neither fear
Nor feel alone
There is one
Wholl lead you home
Grab the rope
Hold it tight
In the distance
Shines a light
Neither fear
Nor feel alone
There is one
Wholl lead you home

STAR:
'FOLLOW THE SAME STAR'
The truth we see;
How small a part
Of that lovely light
Ever reaches our heart?
If you're looking for the light,
There is a star shining bright,
A dawn to this dark night,
A candle burning bright.

Long ago, a star
Sent forth its light from afar.
And now, no matter how far,
We will follow the same star.
Lost sailors used stars
To calculate their course
Whenever the wind and waves took
Them with their force.

Let truth transform you;
It will make your heart and mind new.
If you're not faithful, your heart's in denial;
Take it from me - it's worth your while.
So forget this world with all its cares,
For troubled dreams turn into nightmares.
You have to leave this world behind
If you want to keep what you find.

The stars haven't always been there,
But the love of our Lord is everywhere.
The devil appears as an angel of light;
He does his best work in the night.
One day you'll leave this world of ours,
Taking your place among the stars.
Shine bright with light, my star;
Show the world who you are.

'SHARE THE SAME STAR'
I'm looking at this star tonight,
But will my wish come true?
I can't help wondering,
If you can see the same star too?
Do you see what I see,
As we stand in its light?
Does darkness overwhelm you,
When you look up there tonight?

I am dreaming in the darkness,
About this star that shines above.
I hope that you'll find me,
Looking for true love.
I've wished upon this special star
For my whole life, it seems.
I close my eyes and make a wish
For all my hopes and dreams.

One day, I got my wish;
I finally met you.
You're that special someone,
Who made my dreams come true.
They say you should never tell
What you wish for, it's true,
But I want the whole world to know
That my wish was for you.

Though there are miles between us,
I know our hearts will meet.
At the point this star begins,
The two will have one beat.
Whenever we are apart,
I find that same bright star.
It makes me feel close to your heart,
No matter where you are.

'WISH ON A STAR'
As I wait here, wondering where you are,
I lie in loneliness and look up at the stars.
Soaring on through space like a shooting star,
Still searching - wondering who you are.

As far as you can see into eternity,
Each one is a wish that with you I'll be.
Stare at the sky, on a silent night;
Count the crystal sea of stars, blazing bright.

Staying by your side wherever you may go,
I have to tell you now - I just want you to know
That even as the stars keep shining in the sky,
My love for you will burn forever and never die.

There's just something beautiful about when angels pray;
A star shines brighter in the night than the light of day.
You can't lift a candle to show lost souls the way
Without feeling the warmth of that radiant ray.

'SHINE BRIGHT WITH LIGHT'
Up in heaven, the angels cry;
Another star falls from the sky.
A falling star - a fading light,
And soon it shall pass from our sight.

When the world starts falling apart,
The hope of heaven is hidden in my heart.
I'll make the world a brighter place,
Like the light of a star in space.

Someday, we'll be just like the angels are;
Like the steady light of a distant star.
Someday soon, we'll shine like them,
Radiant as the rarest, glowing gem.

Sing to the stars - sing to the sea;
Let your song echo for eternity.
Truth our hearts alone can see,
A reflection of reality.

'EACH NIGHT I PRAY'
Walking outside, I lift my eyes
To a symphony in the skies.
You are my star - you shine so bright;
When it is dark, you are my light.

Everyday, I'm so grateful
For your warm and glowing light.
Thank you for being so faithful;
You make my whole world bright.

Just like a star, you're so far away.
I think of you - each night I pray,
But I know there's no way
For you to hear the words I say.

I see you in the sky at night,
But I can't touch the star in sight.
I guess I will always be
A friend you will never see.

'WISH YOU WERE HERE'
One night I was out wandering,
Feeling lost and alone.
I looked up into the heavens,
And there a bright star shone.

I picked one to wish on
From every star above.
I closed my eyes and made a wish
To send you all my love.

So look up in the sky tonight
And find that star;
It will shine bright with light,
However near or far.

And when you see our star,
My wish will come to you;
Stars were made to wish upon;
Sometimes wishes come true.

'I SAW THE LIGHT'
I saw a bright ray today
That led me out of darkness.
A little light so far away
In an endless sea of emptiness.

It burned like a shooting star,
In the distance, so very far.
I think it’s getting clearer;
Now it's coming nearer.

A light just as bright as the sun
And almost as distant;
It wasn’t the only one;
You couldn't have missed it.

When I'm lost in the dark and I can't see,0
I just look for the light.
I have hope when it shines on me,
Everything will be bright.

'YOU ARE MY LIGHT'
I looked up at the stars last night,
Just thinking about you,
And wondering what I could do
To make our dreams come true.

Together, we’ll shine like the sun;
Two candles burn brighter than one.
We'll dance just like the stars in space,
Together forever in an endless embrace.

Wherever you go, I will follow;
And it doesn't matter how far.
Without you, my heart feels hollow;
I just want to be where you are.

You shine just like a star so bright;
I'd be lost without your light.
Hand in hand, we'll stand together;
I promise to be there forever.

'A STAR IS BORN'
Every star is destined by fate
To live and then to die.
It glows with light - it just can't wait,
Shooting across the sky.

For a moment, it is there,
Burning bright up in the air.
It falls gently onto the ground,
Without making a sound.

Like a falling star,
Glowing bright with glory,
I'm just another ending
To someone else's story.

Just a dropp of rain in the desert,
Just a grain of sand in the sea;
What have I done that won’t be forgotten?
Will anyone remember me?

'SHINE LIKE A STAR'
I look up at the sky;
It hurts so much saying goodbye.
Every time I think of you,
It makes me want to cry.

Hope is not hope if you can see;
Is there a star that shines for me?
Like a star, you showed me the way;
You led me with your light each day.

I'll say a prayer for you;
I'll make a wish and I hope it comes true.
Put your faith in what you can't see;
I wish you could be here with me.

Sometimes I wish I could be
A star to shine for all to see.
I know the light is not my own;
I could never do it alone.

'YOU ARE MY STAR'
You are my star,
So bright up above;
I can't forget it;
It's you I love.

My star will shine
So bright and true.
It's a light in the night
Made just for you.

When you are lost,
Wherever you may be,
Look for the light,
For it will set you free.

Don't hide your light,
Wherever you are;
Let it burn bright,
Just like a star.

'A SEA OF STARS'
A life is lost;
What can we say?
A bright light burns,
Then it fades away.

And at the sight,
They stop and stare
On this dark night,
But they don't care.

It came and went;
I'm not sure what it meant.
A star fell from the sky,
And I want to know why.

Just for you,
This star fell;
You have one wish,
So use it well.

The Two Spirits: An Allegory

FIRST SPIRIT
O thou, who plum'd with strong desire
Wouldst float above the earth, beware!
A Shadow tracks thy flight of fire--
Night is coming!
Bright are the regions of the air,
And among the winds and beams
It were delight to wander there--
Night is coming!SECOND SPIRIT
The deathless stars are bright above;
If I would cross the shade of night,
Within my heart is the lamp of love,
And that is day!
And the moon will smile with gentle light
On my golden plumes where'er they move;
The meteors will linger round my flight,
And make night day.FIRST SPIRIT

But if the whirlwinds of darkness waken
Hail, and lightning, and stormy rain;
See, the bounds of the air are shaken--
Night is coming!
The red swift clouds of the hurricane
Yon declining sun have overtaken,
The clash of the hail sweeps over the plain--
Night is coming!SECOND SPIRIT

I see the light, and I hear the sound;
I'll sail on the flood of the tempest dark,
With the calm within and the light around
Which makes night day:
And thou, when the gloom is deep and stark,
Look from thy dull earth, slumber-bound,
My moon-like flight thou then mayst mark
On high, far away.----

Some say there is a precipice
Where one vast pine is frozen to ruin
O'er piles of snow and chasms of ice
Mid Alpine mountains;
And that the languid storm pursuing
That winged shape, for ever flies
Round those hoar branches, aye renewing
Its aëry fountains.

Some say when nights are dry and dear,
And the death-dews sleep on the morass,
Sweet whispers are heard by the traveller,
Which make night day:
And a silver shape like his early love doth pass
Upborne by her wild and glittering hair,
And when he awakes on the fragrant grass,
He finds night day.
