Inspired by Issa - Distant sight
distant sight -
a light in the rhythm
of my heart
distant sight
a light begs me to come near
in the rhythm of my heart
distant sight
a light flickering to
the rhythm of my heart
inspired by
distant sight-
in withered fields
a little house's lamp

Distant Light
Distant light flickers an invitation of hope.
In reaching it, there will be sanctification.
Dimness that surrounds the eyes
will be forgotten.
Black holes that open the heart
will be discarded.
Let the distant light come closer.
Let the distant light be a friend.
Shallow water cannot drown soul.
It can only hinder the passage.
Dampening the spirit as it frolics
like a moonbeam across the mind.
Distance lends unhappiness.
Let the distant light shine bright.
Let the distant light be a guide.
In closets of blackness the hands
seek an opening in the shadows.
They find nothing, but the eyes
focus on a distant light that
calls like a radio in the night.
Let the distant light embrace.
Let the distant light be closer.
In an emptiness of broken glass
there is a pattern to salvation.
Frame the light like fire in the glance,
walk towards it. Find escape.
Let the distant light be strong.
Let the distant light shine forever.
What is the distant light that shines?
What is its meaning in a journey?
This is an answer not easily explained.
This is a hope not readily known.
Let the distant light continue.
Let the distant light always shine.

A Rhythm of a Heart That Loves
I hear the beating of a heart
A heart that beats with a rhythm
A rhythm I can understand
A rhythm I can sing unto
A rhythm of a heart that loves
It is this rhythm that makes me do things
Things I would otherwise not do
It is this rhythm that makes me say things
Things I would otherwise not say
It is this rhythm that makes me have thoughts
Thoughts I would otherwise not have
A rhythm of a heart that loves
It’s a rhythm of a heart that excessively loves
It’s a rhythm of a heart that disproportionately, intensively, severely and extremely loves
It’s a rhythm of a heart that loves

Deleted Memory
when they die
at places distant lie
whom we love
as dearly as a dove
whose voice too
we never hear
whose smiles too
we never bear
only in distant memory
like a fading Spring
or a vanishing rainbow
we remember them
brilliantly etched
in the colourful memory stretched
do they really die to us
whom we love so dearly
cherish so preciously
out of sight
yet beautifully imprinted
in the memory in sight

Just The Same
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
One man was happy
One lived in sorrow
Overseer said theyll meet tomorrow
One man was wealthy
One had to borrow
Overseer said theyll meet tomorrow
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
Its just the same
Moons silver face
Dark shadows on the wall
Light playing games as evening falls
And when the sunshine
Cant warm your heart again
Soar with the starlight on the evening wind
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
Theres a way
Even though your heart is broken
Now by the close
Of one door
Another opens
Leave your heat wide open
The door will open
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt matter where you are
Its just the same
Its just the same
Its just the same
Its just the same

Memories In The Old Brain
-the smell of water
a scent hanging in the air
a trail through parched, barren land
now greened by rain
in a time of plenty.
the taste of marrow
fresh from the cracked bone,
touched by a fire
that lights the way
to a time of plenty
the sight of a day
over savanna grass,
sight without mystery
without awe
or the art to feel the dawn
and see the light with a new eye
in a time of plenty
the sound of a wild call,
a beast
stirring the heart,
a heart yet to be gripped
by the savage's siren call
to a time of plenty.
Memories deep in my core
of scent, taste, sight, sound
water, fire, light, howl
-memories from a time undefined
-before memory shaped
light and dark into day and night
-before memory became
slave and master of time.
I am a child of these memories,
before and after.
Dancing to the rhythm of time
I am old
in a time of plenty.

i do beleive in God
there may be doubts
like pebbles along the path towards a house
there may be darkness
at the end of day
but there is still a candle to light
a gas lamp by the side
of the door
outside the house covered by a glass
you see how even during the storm
through the window
transparent on the curtains
there is still this flickering light
despite the wind
even in my sleep my nightmares
faith still glistens
like a distant star
amen.

Beyond The Distant Hills
The sun is shining for me,
beyond the distant hills.
Where my love is waiting,
for my return.
The water is sweet to drink,
beyond the distant hills,
where a warm fire is waiting,
for my return.
The grass bends in the breeze,
beyond the distant hills.
Where my love’s heart yearns
for my return.
A candle lights a window,
beyond the distant hills.
Where someone keeps a watchful eye,
for my return.
Beyond the distant hills,
where no clouds gather,
and no storms darken the sky.
Beyond the distant hills,
bright eyes wait for my return.
Beyond the distant hills,
my dreams will come true,
and I promised myself one day I will get there.

The insight
Without light, sight is no use.
Without sight, light is no use.
Eyes give sight and sight, insight.
Without insight, sight is blind.

An Old Man's Vision
The light, the light, the light!
The energetic photons
so necessary for our sight
and everything we do.
The stars of night, the sun so bright
the gossamer moon's reflected light
they will be there
as long as we can be aware
as long as sight maintains itself.
Of course no power, pelf or might
can guarantee our right to sight.

Here She Comes
Here she comes the ghost of venus de milo
A touch of madness streaks through her hair
Shell tear your heart with a poisonous arrow
Shell rob your soul if you look at her square
.......... do I dare?
Here she comes ..... such a beautiful sight
Here she comes ..... oh I wish that I might
Hear she comes the wildest cat in the jungle
A beast of beauty beyond compare
I watch the stalkers stalk but they stumble
The fools rush into vanity fair
............ but shes not there
Here she comes ..... such a beautiful sight
Here she comes ..... oh I wish that I might
And all the green eyed women
Swaying to the rhythm
Here she comes ..... such a beautiful sight
Here she comes ..... oh I wish that I might
Here she comes
Here she comes

In bed, throw the covers on your head
You pretend like you are dead

Rhythm is gonna getcha

Rhythm is gonna get you
The rhythm is gonna get you tonight
No way, you can fight it every day
But no matter what you say

No clue, of whats happening to you
And before this night is through
Ooh baby
The rhythm is gonna getcha
Rhythm is gonna getcha

Has His Measure
Sister Cecilia fingers the beads.
The wood hard between finger
And thumb. The Christ has been
Rubbed smooth by years of prayer.
Shines like a new coin. Her feet ache
With cold. The fingers work their magic.
Her lips move to the rhythm of words
Carried on breath. She carries her
Christ in her breast close to her heart
His picture in the black and red book
In a pocket of her habit of black cloth.
She knows He follows her and listens
To her words and thoughts and watches
Her deeds done in darkness and light
In coldness and heat in cloister and chapel.
For weeks on end she feels His absence
Like a lover gone from sight on some
Distant voyage over rough sea or far off
Lands in search of some other treasure.
But she loves Him still her constant lover
And knows His worth and has His measure.

Slave To The Rhythm
Work all day, as men who know,
Wheels must turn to keep, to keep the flow,
Build on up, dont break the chain,
Sparks will fly, when the whistle blows,
Never stop the action,
Keep it up, keep it up,
Work to the rhythm,
Live to the rhythm,
Love to the rhythm,
Slave to the rhythm,
Axe to wood, in ancient time,
Man machine, power line,
Fires burn, heart beats strong,
Sing out loud, the chain gang song,
Never stop the action,
Keep it up, keep it up,
Breath to the rhythm,
Dance to the rhythm,
Work to the rhythm,
Live to the rhythm,
Love to the rhythm,
Slave to the rhythm.

Education Light
Education Light
Is there a light brighter than sunlight
which can lead brain and heart out from twilight
and heal blinders from the disability
to reborn them to be the priority
Is there a light more beautiful than starlight
which can change your sight
from flat to round
from anxious to bold
Yes, that is education light
bright and so bright
who can ignore it
when penetrates in your sight

Distant object.
You are becoming
A distant object.
Your light and influence,
Strong right now.
I can only bear for it to fade.
Object of my desire.
You`ve chosen
A different road.
Who knows where.
To patch a broken stick.
To relove an old half-sealed wound?
You`re becoming a distant object.
Light dimming by the hour.
I wait for that infernal
Tone.
To bring some
Partial temporary relief.
That i have
Love of some kind,
In my life.
I need to feel my own joy.
Not rely on outside influences.
Distant object
I`m almost saying goodbye.
I loved you
For a while there!

Dreaming From The Dark
Amid the drumbeats and chants of hymns,
Burned bright the gaily cruel festive light,
It pounced on her like the darkest of dreams,
The blazing illumination blinded her sight.
She knew as soon as sense dawned on her
That she belonged to an endless darkness
From where would torment like a distant star
The glittering world she could never embrace.
Yet a craving burrowed her child's heart
To dance to drumbeats and chanting hymns,
Mingle with the light and become a part
Of the illumined world and forbidden dreams!

Fright
I scream your name at night. My eyes full of tears and fright. From the sight of the lonely night. I’m losing sight. Cause I’m so full of fright. I cry at the sight of the ever lonely night. Cause she is in sight when I look at the night. I'll cry all night with that sight. Because without the light to my night. I’m full of terror and fright. Like a baby born without sight. I will always scream your name in fright. Because she is the light to my darkest of nights. Because I’m full of fight on that night. My heart is losing the fight.

A Distant Hope
A distant hope
Miles beyond reach,
But nothing that two hearts
Can't easily breach.
A distant hope
May seem out of control,
But love has a way
Of fulfilling it's goal.
A distant hope
May seem like a dream,
But dreams can come true
With two hearts as a team.
A distant hope
May be distant now,
But time and patience
Will close distance somehow.

I'm Everlast born to be a caucassion but it makes no difference what persuasion you are
As long as you know how to get up on the floor and start workin' a sweat
To a musical measure that makes you move as soon as the needle drops into the groove
So get up and dance to the gift I'm giving, forget about your troubles get into the rhythm

Listen to the tracks that rolls, watch the mic as it glows
The lethal weapon got you trapped in this dance mode
Ice-T's throwin' words at you like dodge ball y'all
You gotta move get hit, if you get hit, you fall, no jokin', no boastin' and no bragging
Grip the mic like a .44 magnum, dust you off if you suck 'cause I ain't
You want me to write soft rhyme's, sorry, I write the rhythm

Depths Of Night
In dazzling depths of night,
I live with light and darkness
As the lamp is fixed in the air.
A perched jewel supposes its worth
With echoes of beautiful waves.
They carry on into the depths,
I hear cascades of sound and water,
The whole canyon is smiling towards me.
What excellent sight is this!
How fruits like water have an abode!
This mountaintop is at a distant scene,
Inner work has been beyond this realm.
