Papa's doll

I could not dream of being along in this world
All past events and memory passed with shiver and cold
How much safe I was in his strong fold?
How much I was injected with ideas to be brave and bold?

It may be true with all girls under parenthood
Not immediately but later on it is clearly understood
It was not to be just blood relation and small entity?
What difference had it made on our fine quality?

Every child may mushroom with protective custody?
Parents may have all the options open with remedy
To grow the child under care and make steady
To stand on own feet and keep all the time ready

I was papa’s girl and loved by all
Everything was made available at little call
All preventive care to remove the possible fall
Developing the skill to scale the wall

He was towering strength and cared well
No on dared to bother us or create hell
Luck would not have it all to tell
I am in tears and compelled not to dwell

I fared well to stand first in all the competitions
Though we did not believe in any superstitions
Father was himself big institutions
And we were brought up in critical situation

I do not remember exactly what went wrong
He was no more and did not remain among
We were reduced to some sort of helplessness
There was no one in family for energy to harness

We crossed the shore and returned to safety
We had vast horizon with different variety
It was all before us just in grabbing distance
We were all prepared for it at once

Though father did not take me further
He did not leave behind any responsibility to shoulder
He knew the catastrophically prevalent situation of future
He had made it full proof and doubly assured

What bothered me most was the way he offered?
He never scolded me, thrashed or differed
He was so thorough affectionate and loving
Even today my eyes become wet and not believing

Complete picture moves with so much happening around
I had totally surrendered when I had found him
What a way of taking refuge in somebody’s arm?
With so much affection and lovely unforgettable charm

Not all may be lucky but I do consider
So much water has flown since under
The lightening may strike and clouds thunder
I sit under the sky and definitely wonder

Tears dropp

Tears dropped from my eyes
As the days passed by
It was painful yet so dear
I had to undergo it and bear

I remembered exactly when father was no more
It had jolted me and tore apart
The mother was still there to console
I heaved a sigh of relief with strong pole

As mother proved to be strong lady
There was felt no vacuum for the daddy
He had left no fortune but placed us in strong hand
Mother took the control and treated us like friends

We owed the body and soul to parents
It was true and very much apparent
We had learnt lessons of self sufficiency
Mother worked hard for us not to feel any deficiency

I remember and count critical moments
Mother stood firm and gave no vents
It was her heroic effort to keep us under fold
She taught us to be brave and bold

Today when I look back and open the memory
It all moves like movie with all impressions to carry
I move with all the scenes as if it has happened yesterday
It has ended with the nightmare in a day

We were hand to mouth for many days
We could find no respectful way
It required great struggle to survive
We too were determined for powerful drive

It did not break us from within
It was situation like no loss no wins
We had learnt a lot to stand fast
The situation was not to remain same till last

I have vivid memory and painful past
Even though it made us tough to stand fast
It had made us to forget and leave behind
There was to be left no trace to find

Though mother is not with me today
I have not forgotten those days
She was by all means an alert guard
To take us in strength and look forward

I have raised great empire with all means
She is there in all the corners and seen
It was her resolute stand that took us out of storm

She was as dedicated as before and fully informed
I shed tears not for being left alone
But her action to take us out from cyclone
Had she lost her courage and presence of mind
We would have been no where to find

Though God is great to take us to shore
We pray all those dear ones and adore
We can do nothing for their brave front
Only last glorious moments make us to confront

Miss You Badly

I was selfish and erring human
She was exception and lovely woman
I call her my mother and best in world
How safe I was when went to her fold!

I cry to full extent and miss badly
I have no memory and spent day very sadly
O mom! Show me your face at least once
I have tried but have no more chance

I vividly remember being at orphanage
Somebody had wrapped me and dropped near drainage
I was taken to child home and brought up with care
World was so small for me to go somewhere

I understand you may be threatened by dark clouds
It may be puzzling you with lightening sound
How terrible it might have been to make night round!
dropp the child at wild place and never to be found

I can imagine about the inner cruse for life
You might have tried to be ideal and good wife
Alas! I could have been your beautiful baby
Just little blessing from almighty might have kept you steady

I have breathed safely in their hands
They all are like me and behave as friends
I look at stars and try to find you out
To know the meaning of 'mother' and think about

You may surely be innocent like moon
You may try to find me out soon
Mom, how will you find me from so many children?
You may have no faintest ideas even

I miss you today and feel shy to look at sun
Why had all divine forces made you to run?
What was the compelling situation for you to desert?
Does the situation not change it to revert?

Mom, wherever you are and whatever you are
You are my favorite and shining star
I see no fading light in you but twinkling shine
You always come in my dream and look fine

I will not cry as an orphan
I am daughter of pretty woman
I miss you in heart and silently weep
You remember me sometimes but happily sleep

I know how hard it may be to leave behind
A crying child to somebody's trust and never to find
You might have dashed your head against walls
With heavy heart you might have obeyed to calls

Today is the day to remember mothers all over
Let them find in comfortable position with shield or cover
Many more may be abandoned in coming days
Let god suggest and instill beautiful ways

I curse the luck and miss you
But not pass the blame as you have passed through
All agony and pain not suffered by any one
You are for me so special and sacred woman

A father's day

It is lovely day to enjoy
Father’s day is to be celebrated with joy
We rejoice at home but he is never annoyed
His discomfort is never conveyed

We use to tease papa but he offered sweet smile
He will never object our activities even for a while
He used stand high in our eyes with great stature
He never compromised with our future

I still continue to think over the matter and wonder
He will occupy main positioning home and thunder
We are safe and protected under his refuge
He is always there to stand by us with new ideas to infuse

If myth was reality and ready to explode,
Dark clouds were at horizons ready to invade,
Time has come when spade is to be called spade,
Memory remains very short and ready to fade,

Father has so much dominating personality
He is always there and knows for his humility
This is one of the for most favored quality
He too is known for his simplicity

We look towards him for such solutions
He may guide us with firm resolutions
It is his great experience that may be useful
It may serves us better as useful

We may be moving in garden
The mind may be occupied and worries may be laden
He may still be there for us to guide
He may always want us to confide

Papa may remain kind and calm
He may serve us better with no more harm
He may remain neutral and very kind
In him all the qualities we may find

I held long breath and wept for while,
Papa at home always used to smile,
we may have to loose in times to come
If he recovers from illness that will be welcome

Papa used to suffer from long illness
He always comforted us with his greatness
I used to realize it very late
I had some misgivings about him and tried to hate

Today when I sit at restless condition
It provides me with some ammunition
I have no explanation to offer
It is state of mind that I may suffer

It has come to my mind very late
It was certainly not our fate
He continued to enjoy and fought with fate
He can’t be lowered and down rated

I still do relish and find you papa dear,
you may have been feeling bitter by long many years
You were towering strength and source of inspiration
It has got direct bearing and fine relation
I
It may be unfair if we fail to pay grand tribute
He has definitely played role and contributed
What we are today is due to his firmness?
We were relying heavily on his alertness

Taken as curse

Being a girl in house, it is taken as curse
Even though it is misconception of course
The house wears deserted look as decadence of gloom
There is different story to tell with hiding of face in room

Parents may be worried more
There life may be later on very sore
How much in future they will have to bear?
The life may be burdened more with fears

The son is taken as future life line
He may look after well and feel them fine
He may be by the side when they dine
They will have no idea when will be sidelined?

Real maltreatment to girl child
Members look hostile and not remain mild
Male member cleared favored
Girl child scolded and bored

The facts remain entirely different
This fact is seen and very apparent
Girls do care more about family
The sons discard them very easily

Today girls have come off very strongly
They are praiseworthy and lead very happily
Today girls are no more curses
They stand for future with very good promises

No need to scream or make false alarm
Girls are equally conscious and very warm
They do and perform what is really expected
They must find place and positively responded

You should feel very proud
This can be reiterated or spoken very loud
Girls are heritage and spinning wheel
World can move on with strong will

They are strong pillars of society
No one should feel shame or pity
They are equally competent and responsive
Only they should not be harassed or made submissive

A state of her mind

Tears were rolling from her eyes
Time had come to say me good bye
I was resting on her crossed leg
She starred at me as if was trying to beg

I don’t know what made her to think
She was down with the thoughts and sunk
I knew nothing about her status of mind
She remained calm and always kind

I was on short vacation from my service
I was called at home on some relative’s demise
I tried to spend good time with her
She always thought too much and bothered

All mothers of world may be same
God has specially chosen them o come
She under goes pain but always welcome
New arrival from her womb is dear some

What a sacrifice from living mother?
She has nothing except her child to bother
She has only one top most priority
Child should always remain in vicinity

It is deep love and affection
She is not affected by any tension
Her dream is fulfilled with simple cry from child
She looses no patience and gets slightly wild

I was woken up by small drops
They were falling non stop
I just raised my eyes to see
I found my self under the tree

“Why mom, do you cry” I parried question
“No, nothing” she didn’t make any mention
I could guess she was unhappy about my departure
She had seen many dreams in my future

I was in service of the motherland
I was motivated by her and nearly trained
She wanted her one of the child to be dedicated
On many occasion she had her wishes made known or indicated

It came as complete surprise with shock
I was now in sense and fully awoke
It was weakening my spirit
I saw in her eyes bright light

They were beaming with confidence
This was not the first incidence
Many a times she was in such state
The tears were rushing very late

I could understand her position
She had no more question
It was only an emotional cry
I couldn’t ask her further why

She had offered what others couldn’t do?
With the entire mother’s it is equally true
I was fortunate enough to find her caring
Her spirit and strength was definitely daring

I touched her feet but could say nothing
She wanted to say something
I kept her smiling all the way
She found in me bright ray

Childhood

I was unable to read and understand
What were papa up to and his stand?
When he will be angry or loose temper?
When he will embrace me or pamper?

I was feeling secure and happy as child
Mother was always very kind and mild
She looked to me as ocean of love
Ready with delicious food and serve

In her warmth I could feel bright day
She was almost there to show the way
She may forgo her comfort of sleep and say
I must be good boy and attention must pay

Her words are stored as unforgettable memory
When she is not seen around I feel so sorry
I search her here and there with utmost concern
So many things I had yet to follow and learn

Papa sometimes come heavily on me and scolds
Mother at the same time come and warmly holds
What a greatness to shower love with difference?
One must understand and draw lesson with inference

Papa seemed to me very harsh as head of family
He used to hold my hand firmly for mistakes silly
Mother may not interfere and make father angry
She may feed me with love when I felt hungry

Still I felt immense love for father
He was determined to take me further
He made me to look different from others
So I should be of my own and needn’t bother

As parent they taught me lesson with high morality
They did all they could do as per their ability
How to express why I hold then in high esteem? |
May be their intense love which to me possibly seem

Many children may not find situation like this
They might have lost parents and surely miss
Childhood is most important thing to cherish
Their sweet memories remain and don’t vanish

Where Is She

Not a single day has passed without you in mind
Lots of excuses come across as thought to find
You were never away in the past for a single minute
You were uncontrollable at home and never remained mute

Whole day passed off amidst your little noise
You were always ready for something to poise
You may venture for something and make my blood pulses up
I had no option but to remain silent and shut up

Today she is not in this lovely home
I look at door steps for her welcome
I know she may come any time and knock
I puffed more from cigars and left thick smoke

You have nice art to make me smile
You will not allow gloom to descent even for while
You may keep me engaged in lovely conversation
Remind me all the time about commitment and healthy relation

Her absence has made me totally blank
From the sun rise I have taken nothing or drank
I must admit her presence as some source of strength
Without her I am unable to adjust or take comfortable breath

I can do nothing without her being on my side
She will lean on my solder and confide
Whisper lovely and sweet words in my ears
She had made me fully dependent on her for years

Today I realize her importance when she is not here
I used to neglect everything when she was with me or near
She won’t bother me for even small things
Life at home without her is dreaded for something

Lovely home is zero without her sweet smile
I am on bed and thinking for it meanwhile
How come females have strong will power to control?
When nothing can be made available without shout call?

Pulled from

I was pulled from deep sleep
Made to stand on feet and instructed not to weep
Father was laid on the ground with dead silence
The family was in deep shock with his absence

I was in my teens and very dear to him
He will make me to run and take to swim
We may float on water for number of hours
We were commented upon many times by the goers

I had known little about the outside world
I always remained under his influence and fold
He may endlessly talk on various subjects
As if he was known as brave man for his acts

It puzzled me for the all of sudden development
Her body lay there without any movement
At was put straight on the ground
And no active movement was found

I was yet to learn about his demise
Day before he ad made a great promises
He was to take me for long tour
Even though he looked ordinary and poor

I was him fully tired and speechless
He was there but not looking at my face
I tried to call him with tearful voice
It died out in air amidst much noise

“Take care, be bold and brave”
These words echoed in ears as if he just now gave
“No one can stay here for so long”
He used to teach us when stayed among

In a family one old man is must
We can take his words for sure trust
He may enrich us with his long association
He may stop us from any wrong move or deviation

I may miss his company for days to come
I might even be thrashed and never be welcomed
All family members may want me to be disciplined
No one may come to rescue or aid if someone complained

Honor to teachers

Tribute to teachers

What we would have been otherwise?
Only fools in this world and not wise
At least we can think reasonable due to knowledge
Even we remember contribution in old age

We had rebirth in this lovely land
Teacher taught us to be good and lovely friend
We were fighting at home and in school
Some ties were made to stand on stool

It was firm foundation laying
We were almost in school and most of the time staying
Teacher was all the time there and completely paying
Whole attention on our study, sports and with lovely saying

Parents were leaving us at the gate
We were scared when getting little late
It was strict discipline and imposed
We were to live up to the standards and supposed

We knew nothing what the world and its people were
He was almost with us to work hard and fare
There was no let up in our preparation
We were in perfectly aligned with relation

Even though sometimes we were scared but exactly not beaten
Warned of dire consequences in exams if not properly written
It was his unstinted support that drove us to conclusion
There was no room left at all for confusion

We were tuned into fine metal of gold
It was put into furnace and made solid and bold
It was complete purity that was to be put before world
There was not going to be any doubt when put for sale or sold

We were made such a fine blend
What were we as raw when made to bend?
Absolutely nothing of any worth or value
Why not today pay as respect which is really due?

We will miss his/her capacity in whole of the life
As life was made worth to walk on edge of the knife
If we were today known as great statesman or celebrity
The same was injected by him in us as great quality

Let us pray the due respect by making it remarkable
That it is his efforts that we are made capable
We should not remain ungrateful for according honor
It is never expected anytime nor asked for

Pack of cards

'Come to me, I will take care'
Lord Krishna told and warned to be beware
Act as per conscience and in conformity
There won't be any cause to feel later on pity

Some of the answers lie with nature
They are to be preserved for very sure
Nothing is done against its structure
We as human being will have to assure

Now a day’s desert is experiencing snow
Ice winds cut across and blow
Seasons are changing and play havoc
The nature may have something bad in stock

Rivers are causing damage and always in spate
The damage and losses are difficult to state
We have played enough against and now must be ended
Nature is totally neglected and seems visibly offended

This can be termed man made tragedy
We must be prepared and get ready
Still it is not too late to remedy
Enough can yet be done to make it steady

Rising flames will engulf all
Radiation hazard may rebound like ball
Whole atmosphere may be polluted
Who knows what future for them may be committed?

No object can stand onslaught of nature
Nothing can be made full proof and secured
They wall fall like pack of cards
It will turn complete area into graveyard

Shelter From The Rain

Today I’m in the country on one of my walks
the clouds are gathering whilst the thunder talks.
I had better seek shelter from the incoming storm,
that barn looks okay although battered and worn.

Made it inside thankfully just in the nick of time
I’m a little bit wet, but never mind.
It’s now pouring down and difficult to see.
Oh my God! What’s that standing next to me.

“Hello there mister may I share your shelter?
I’ve been spinning around like a helter-skelter.”
“You startled me; I’ve never seen your kind before.”
“I know, I am sorry, I’ll be gone soon for sure.”

“There is no urgency, but how did you get here?
You can stop trembling you’ve nothing to fear.”
“I came in with the thunder and the pouring rain
and with luck that’s how I’ll be going out again.”

“So you slipped out of your world and into mine? ”
“Yes, to escape the Catchers and their evil kind.
The Catchers have been our murderous enemy
since the beginning of time and living memory.

They killed my father, mother, sister and brother,
and they won’t rest until they have killed one other.
I should be quite safe here whilst it’s damp and wet,
but when it ceases they’ll hunt me down without regret.

Don’t be frightened you’re not in danger while I’m here
there’s no need to be nervous or full of fear.
The Catchers won’t make their play in front of you
the sacred law’s of our land forbids them to.

It looks as though the rain is beginning to cease
I’d better get ready to go and give you some peace.
It’s the lightening that bring the Catchers to Earth
they consider their visit here as a time of rebirth.

Oh good I’m safe for a while it’s raining hard again,
but I don’t know where to go next for the pouring rain.
Perhaps it would be better for all if I let them catch me
then at least I would find peace and they would be happy.

Did you see that bolt of lightening strike near by?
It’s getting near to the time for me to say goodbye.
Can you smell that stench? The Catchers are in the air
with their piercing red eyes they’re searching everywhere.”

“I feel that I should try and do something to help you somehow.”
“I’m sorry that is forbidden and something I cannot allow,
even if you tried and failed to help me escape my situation
they would remove your tongue and eyes without hesitation.

If on this occasion they have sent three Catchers or more
the odds on me surviving are at most very poor.
Goodbye human I had better go before the end of the storm.”
“Well, goodbye to you and I wish you well, brave unicorn.”

I Shall Regret

I shall regret for being straight forward
People call me, in fact, escapist and coward
I believe in my capacity to handle the situation
Otherwise it can definitely lead to unsolvable questions

I may be called even emotional fool
As I care too much for being helpful
I act like child to make them happy
Rush to the help and always stand ready

My personal life is in doldrums
I had happy moments and sweet dreams
But things didn’t turn up well to my expectation
Leading to break up with severance in relation

I spend restless nights with thoughts in mind as what to do?
How to handle it when they come up and are nearly true?
May be the situation not favor with my luck
Where ever I try but get bogged down or struck

I feel helpless and unsecured
No help is forthcoming or assured
I am man of hard resolve and dedication
So remain unperturbed without suffocation

I feel sometimes very weak from inside
The area of disagreement becomes very wide
Not all angles can be taken care off
Some where we have to start or stop

I am be impracticable in dealing
But it is aimed at to help for healing
Not money or material help is needed at that time
Few words of affection can create miracles sometimes

I may still be looked as undesirable
But I know my limit and feel capable
Can come out from blue and demonstrate will
But people may have to realize it still

I will not mind at all if they blame
The situation will still remain same
I may not change way of living and style
As I think it may certainly help me to walk for a mile

I shall frankly pray to almighty for causing pain
Knowingly or unknowing in their mind for my action
I think it may go off from their mind as time may pass
World may realize my endeavor in earnest with class

I am no philosopher but understand the normal values
People must get full attention or whatever has been due
In this troubled world who has the time to care for sentiments?
Life has taught them to be uncared for and pass adverse comments

Entering new day

As usual I am entering new day in life
Everybody is wishing me but first was wife
She held my hand in gratitude
As I had remained with her with great magnitude

Today candles are lighted
Many achievements are highlighted
Some of my hay days and nice moments
Lovely chance to hear and read comments

Child days are sweet and memorable
Taken care of by parents and made capable
This was all needed for strong foundation
As every child needs care with lovely relation

As the days pass by you know about the people around
Your aspirations and upcoming days to look sound
All efforts to come out as successful man
And of course to need a wife as beautiful woman

I remember standing before mirror for several hours
Dreaming about girl to play part in coming years
To pass off the life as shining example
As so many reminded me of life as only a bubble

Life has flowed like water in river
Rushing towards goal but not sure or never
Sometimes disappearing in between without trace
Some of that kind feared to occur and to be faced

As always seen, God is always kind to all
Responds to your prayers and attends the call
Everything is given liberally without judging your acts
Only we fail to recognize it as divine gift in fact

In fact we must be grieving for past year
In many cases we have refused unpleasant things to hear
We have forgotten those old days which were made to bear
Otherwise life was so cruel on us to force eyes with tears

It is reminder to us not to shed tears but to stand fast
Thank God earnestly that he made us forget it at last
Now today we are better off and enjoying the fruit
The path is open with happiness and powerful delight

Many more birthdays may approach
We may be celebrating them as such
What do we remember specially on that day?
Keep me among my brethrens and not push away

William House and Family

Come all kind friends, both far and near,
Come listen to me and you shall hear --
It's of a family and their fate,
All about them I will relate.

They once did live at Edgerton,
They once did live at Muskegon,
From there they went to Chicago,
Which proved their fatal overthrow.

It was William House's family,
As fine a family as you see --
His family was eleven in all,
I do not think it was very small.

Two children died some years ago,
Before they went to Chicago,
Five children there he had with him,
When death his home there enters in.

The small-pox then was raging there,
And Oh! it would not their house spare,
For all but one was sick of them,
A dreadful house it must have been.

The eldest girl was married then,
The eldest boy was in Michigan,
The second boy he was at home,
And took care of them all alone.

His father and his mother dear,
And dear sister, too, I hear,
Were very sick and in his care,
And no kind friends to help him there:

Two little brothers, and a baby too,
Made six in all -- what could he do,
He had to take care of them all,
The baby, too, was very small.

As he would go to his father's bed,
And try to soothe his aching head,
"My son, I pray you leave me, do
Go take care of poor mother, too."

"Your mother and sister need your care,
And your little infant brother there;
Oh! Charlie, Charlie, take care of them,
My son, do all for them you can."

It seemed as though he did not know
That his poor soul so soon must go,
And leave his little ones he loved,
To go to that bright world above.

But God he called his soul away,
It had to leave, it could not stay --
He never more on earth will be,
His soul is from sin and sorrow free.

Charles helped the sexton, I am told,
To lay his form in the coffin cold --
How sad, how sad, poor soul was he,
When last his father's form did see.

Minnie May House she had to go,
And leave her friends that loved her so --
She was a girl in her teens,
A lovely flower as e'er was seen.

Minnie and her mother lay on one bed,
And when Charles said, "our Minnie is dead,"
His mother then she did grow wild,
And early after knew her child.

They buried Minnie by her father's side,
And left them there where they had died --
Charles took his mother and brothers then
And brought them back to Michigan.

For the mother and the baby too,
Kind friends did all that they could do,
But those poor souls they could not save,
For now they're sleeping in their grave.

Oh! what a noble son was he,
His age was then only sixteen --
Charles House's name I have told before
God bless his soul forever more.

She's Alive

A boy to raise at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
To be made strong but all alone
Must be a pain but she's alive
Dre:
The year was 1975
That night crickets cried
They knew what was going down
Three girls travel a long country road
And one said she thinks it's time
This baby wants to come right now
A boy to raise at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
To be made strong but all alone
Must be a pain but she's alive
Ms. B:
I was scufflin' going to school
I was scufflin' and working at night
And you know what?
I truly believe and that's why
I tell a lot of parents,
single parents
Don't tell me what God can't do!
I made sure you had...
I never felt like you should be
deprived of anything...
If a man didn't want to take care
of his child you move on,
and that's what I did, I moved on
A boy to raise at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
To be made strong but all alone
Must be a pain but she's alive
A boy to raise at...at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
Ms. B:
He always wanted to be a father but
he never took care of you...
He had no money, he had nothing...
How could you care about somebody
and you never did the welfare of them?
A boy to raise at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
To be made strong but all alone
Must be a drag but she's alive
A boy to raise at her young age
No help from him but she's alive
To be made strong but all alone
Must -
And I knew I had to go down that
road by myself
She's alive

Create Hope

Seasons do change and create hope
Where show is certain to flop
With it’s down pour and in abundance
Hope may revive and grow at once

How many hearts may rejoice?
As it is only their choice
To create and build hope for future
And build the lovely empire for sure

I would not miss a dropp of water
I won’t care even for shelter
My brethrens live under the open sky
I have nothing to bother or feel shy

Time to sow the seeds
It is our urgent need
We may smile only when it grows
We knell down with head and bow

Even if rain clouds do come and disappear
We remain worried for agony to bear
How long will it play with our sentiments?
As we watch clouds thunder with movements

I go with nature and agree
We are dependent and not free
All our glory and pride hang in balance
We get delighted even with small black cloud’s presence

I want complete package
Even if that costs severance of bondage
Send all the curses on us one by one
But take care also not to belie the expectation of any one

We are here to stay in any situation
We can live happily with its continuation
Only we may hope for better tomorrow
Bestow us with happiness and allow

Being small child

I was not afraid of being small child
As father was so gentle and mild
Mother too had full quota of affection
Everything was laughed out as my childish action

Sometimes I used to feel embarrassed
I was not bitten but always kissed
Taken in arms and rounded at all places
I knew little why they all had smile on faces?

Everybody was ready to take me out
I had no chance to talk or think about
I was pleasure girl and liked by all
They will be courteous and give me fine call

If the days had wings I would have preferred
To remain as child and waited to be conferred
All precious gifts and great smiles with love
Stay with me comfortably and finally drove

I remember holding parent’s hand
For me there was never any end
It was just beginning and I was just following
I was restricted to move with caution of slowing

I have gathered the strength and started to move
I had to only advance with age and nothing to prove
The days are passing like rain and am coming off fast
I don’t remember when it was over and did last

Those memorable days over
There is no more fathers’ cover
No one scolds me for any action
I find hardly any reaction

Some new shape is taking place in my womb
Father is with me and slowly leading me with thumb
There is generation gap and I am simply following
I try to slip in sweet memory but it not allowing

I may be mother in few weeks
My child may definitely seek
Some protection and advice
Would her/his deeds suffice?

I need not struggle hard to find
The past days have gone with the wind?
I should learn how to be generous and very kind
Not to follow it as routine or as blind

I was shown the middle path to go safe and slow
In the same way I will try for my child to grow
The same treatment and same love for unborn
That is not the worry for me or whole concern

It is complete cycle and likely to be repeated
The main purpose is never going to be defeated
I think nothing goes against unless you opt
You must be willing to accept the fact and be very prompt

*How close we are to know about being nice flower”

A home with grandma

Not all the homes are lucky to have grandmother
Children love grandma even more than mother
They have less attachment with the father
Grandma is all the time there to bother

She is generous and vast sea of affection
Al children are taken of with full care and attention
Grandma is such personality at home that needs no mention
She is there for all practical purpose for any prevention

She may guide us as to how the things are to be passed of or gone
Nothing escapes from her mind as it is practically performed or done
She has no forgone conclusions but with practical remedy
She also offers us stories with so much truth in comedy

Grandmamma remains so much healthy and stout
She has seen the ages with experience and knows all about
She has passed off all the storms at ease
She has now the big task to get it released

It is always nice to find elderly woman in home
She is protective cover for all the times to come
She is there to entertain us with all the dignity
The home is fine place to find her with all the qualities

What else can we expect from lovable grandma?
She moves in home with all her stamina
Sometimes we feel shame to walk with her
She complains about nothing and makes us to bother

It is honor to address her as grandma
She is no less important than papa
It is our luck that we have somebody to look after
The life would have turned us into miser

She is source of towering strength and inspiration
She is sought after by all children and asks for narration
She may have all the stories to be told with great effect
It is her gorgeous part that instills the confidence and will power to act

All the children are good listener
She is preferred to and remains as great admirer
It is easy to make joke or laugh it out
Dignity and personal honor is all about

It is honor and simple craze
Elderly women are considered in good phrase
Concealment of age makes it difficult and not easy
Still grandma remain at help of affairs and makes it rosy

One should be cautious while dealing with elderly person
They are easily offended for no reason
Their honor and dignity must be preserved at all the costs
After all it is pride that has to be counted as sacred most

You May Find

No where you may find
Such a fine creature lovely and very kind
Not a word to complain still act mild
Even with the cry of sick child

She is there day and night
For every reason wrong or right
All odd situations to fight
Yet to show all a bright day with light

Sometimes I venture into dreamland
Think about mother as true caretaker and friend
What she has in mind when grooming the child?
Is the only motherly love making her blind?

I know not the reason behind
Not even God may try to know or find
Her womb has been made so sacred
We got to believe and be led

She remains thorough out with you as shadow
In you she finds promising window
You may take her care in coming day
When she has nothing else to thing of alternate way

She has to run all around for safe refuge
People may not take her lightly and refuse
Yet without loosing of hope and future
She may carve out the destiny for sure

This is how her position is defined
In all the ages her name is taken with care and refined
She is in all the eyes very dominating figure
At home and abroad she is really a pleasure

All the comforts assured for stay
She never leaves for second and go away
You are all the times very close to her heart
She knows well that she can’t afford to part

You are her life and in fact everything
She is for all the melodious songs to sing
Whenever you cry, smile or demand
She is always there with you to stand

Backlash

Neither had I feared a backlash
Nor attempted to make eye wash
Wished smooth passage and no down fall
Prayed almighty not to face any distress call

Childhood passed off easily under the protection
Parents looked after well without my action
I was lucky to have their protective shield
Seeds were growing and offering high yield

Horizon seemed to me vast and open
Blue sky and earth were no less than heaven
I could think of major leap forward
Acts of brave person and not that of coward

I had to be reasonably alert and cautious
World and people around seemed to be vicious
Making headway was concern and cause of worry
Still it did not bother as I was not in hurry

I had to learn a lot from rising sun
Reaching on the top without making run
Not to fall back from destiny under slight pretext
It was high time to undergo vigorous test

Let it not prove as difficult task
Honest dealing without putting on mask
I may suffer heavily on this count
Difficulties may surface and pressure mount

I shall withstand the waves and shocks
Sea waters may rush and knock at the rocks
Will do everything to wither the storm
Brave front always to remain in form

Luck or no luck but can weaken the spirit
Best efforts should be made on merit
We may face down fall or momentary setback
It may teach lessons from the drawbacks
