Being small child
I was not afraid of being small child
As father was so gentle and mild
Mother too had full quota of affection
Everything was laughed out as my childish action
Sometimes I used to feel embarrassed
I was not bitten but always kissed
Taken in arms and rounded at all places
I knew little why they all had smile on faces?
Everybody was ready to take me out
I had no chance to talk or think about
I was pleasure girl and liked by all
They will be courteous and give me fine call
If the days had wings I would have preferred
To remain as child and waited to be conferred
All precious gifts and great smiles with love
Stay with me comfortably and finally drove
I remember holding parent’s hand
For me there was never any end
It was just beginning and I was just following
I was restricted to move with caution of slowing
I have gathered the strength and started to move
I had to only advance with age and nothing to prove
The days are passing like rain and am coming off fast
I don’t remember when it was over and did last
Those memorable days over
There is no more fathers’ cover
No one scolds me for any action
I find hardly any reaction
Some new shape is taking place in my womb
Father is with me and slowly leading me with thumb
There is generation gap and I am simply following
I try to slip in sweet memory but it not allowing
I may be mother in few weeks
My child may definitely seek
Some protection and advice
Would her/his deeds suffice?
I need not struggle hard to find
The past days have gone with the wind?
I should learn how to be generous and very kind
Not to follow it as routine or as blind
I was shown the middle path to go safe and slow
In the same way I will try for my child to grow
The same treatment and same love for unborn
That is not the worry for me or whole concern
It is complete cycle and likely to be repeated
The main purpose is never going to be defeated
I think nothing goes against unless you opt
You must be willing to accept the fact and be very prompt
*How close we are to know about being nice flower”

I know it's hard to understand
Why I was taken from your hands
One day we'll meet again

Child in your arms

Will always love you
Pick a star in the sky
And see the twinkle in my eye
As I send you my love

A school life
The weather can be totally unpredictable
The human tendency like it is not at all acceptable
The rain is our main source of inspiration
We welcome it in its complete duration
There is tremendous change with the arrival of season
Initial days are quite enjoyed with good reasons
The children too like their initial school days
The parent to find good hope with rays
The school transform the character of child
They learn the basic elements and remain mild
They have innocence but do not act as fool
They learn a lot so long as they remain in school
It is lot more to gain and act
This is most unforgettable fact
It is always remembered in spare days
As it has taught us in many ways
There is enough time to focus on future
The last year shapes destiny and makes it sure
The time is approaching near to give farewell
Everybody is in fine mood to remember it well
The last moments are full of joy
They make it memorable and enjoy
The time and tide waits for none
The saying is well remembered by everyone
The school days are not forever
It has brief spell but to be spent there however
The long association makes them little upset
But the day for for departure is already set
It is natural to feel pain in separation
Everybody become so much emotional
So many incidences emerge in memory lane
As they have decided to leave the school by bus or plane
It may be altogether new experience
Now they have responsibility and enough sense
They may remain busy after leaving the busy life
The teacher has always remained them about edge of knife
They are needing good advice and direction
Whole future depends upon their action
The school platform has limited role
They may have to adjust with different poles
As the days are nearing to depart
They slowly gather to celebrate it in part
They may freely move and try to find
They will be out soon for the new world to find
It may be worrying them a lot
They fear fear and would not want to be caught
The life has become full of ups and down
Now they have to share the burden and own
Time may come soon to be separated
It will become past to be only related
It will remain as lost memory in one corner
They part of new life later or sooner
The path lay wide open to march
No one may lead you with torch
You were ably guided here by teacher
There you will be with respectable sirs

Better Days
Ooh Child things are going to get easier
Ooh Child things it's get brighter
Better Days [x 4]
Keep your head up
Better Days [x 4]
Keep your head up
She grew up in Brooklyn the Eastside and fulton street
Never knew father
He got shot hustling
She stated acting much older
Her mother couldn't control her
Losing direction
Started sex'n-no protection
And now she's expecting
A life she wasn't ready for
She*s feeling rejected
And her futures unsure
And if you want
Run out there on your own
Don*t give up sunshine
There will be better days
(Keep your head up)
Gotta keep movin' on
To raise a child alone
Don*t give up sunshine
There will be better days
(Keep your head up)
Are you down with full time
On weekend stripping
So you met baller

A little kid
I wished to be little kid
Mother’s hand to feed
Father to lift with strong hand
Brother to throw me in open sand
To stand up on feet with great courage
Little steps forward but unable to manage
Desire to grow fast with total disregard to age
Still safe under shed but not meant to be in cage
It is safe world for all times to come
Everybody to shake hand with warm welcome
All needs to be met at short notice
I felt it amusing and very nice
To run after mother step by step
To be pushed in corner with tying of trap
No nuisance of any kind simple tolerated
Simple movements revealed and narrated
Youth has lost al its charm
Child days were very warm
It has its own charismatic value
You get everything even when not due
I would love to live again
As child to be with family main
What a days to be spent with complete joy?
it was nice to spent it with different toys

Truth Smiles In Child!
What an eternal pair they are,
God and Nature, positive and negative,
God revolving freely around nature,
Smiles at Nature,
And Nature smiles at God,
Smile makes one beautiful and they fell in love of beauty in one another!
Just like parents smile AT the kid,
Nature says to God,
'See, This child is your Creation,
you are its father,
take care of it '
God smiles and says, 'Its your child,
take care of this,
And this is your child '
Child smiles innocently at both,
Nature Smile at child and says,
I am your mother, He is your father,
When child smiles at father,
father's heart too jumps and smiles,
Father sees its beloved Nature,
And Nature sees her Beloved God in the smile of the child!
In the child both smile together, seeing at one another!
Matter smiles at energy and energy smiles at matter,
and in the child both smile together,
But in their love and smile,
Truth smiles,
eyes of both God, Nature shine at the smile of the Child,
Never both able to see the silent smile of Truth,
It says within child, it's soliliquoy goes unheard,
' I am that,
Smiled in you,
I am the creator of both,
But God and Nature Never able to see me,
Only seeing me as their child,
I smile At them,
that I kept my identity,
Hidden safe in You '

The Beauty of a Mother
The beauty of a woman starts
When her womb begins to grow
The child that she'll give birth
Soon will call her, “my mother”
The beauty of a mother reigns
When her arms cradle her child
And her charm shines within
Her heart full of love and care
The beauty of mother un-fades
When her hands guide her child
In all places walking side by side
To protect her child from danger
The beauty of a mother is her brain
To teach her child to read and write
To let the child know the difference
Of what is wrong and what is right
The beauty of a mother is her act
To treat her child without compare
To list none of whatsoever is best
For her child is the gem of her life
Then the beauty of mother reflects
From the eyes of her child in return
To respect, love, and care for her
When age and time set them apart

The Days to Remember
Do you remember the days?
The days of Cinderella wanting to go the ball
The days of the seven dwarfs
The days when you believed in it
I remember those days
The days you held your mother’s hand
The days when you wished on a star
The days you believed that wish would come true
Do you remember the days?
The days of jump rope
The days of secret hand shakes
The days you believed it was just so easy
I remember those days
The days when you would hide and they would seek
The days of spending all day playing ball
The days you thought it would never get hard
We all remember those days

Painful to rememeber
How painful it is to remember past days?
Especially when you are brought up with hard ways
Hands were trying to reach for two square meals
And utter failure in making any honorable deal
Parents looking helplessly for future of child
Showing no sign of weariness but act very mild
N0 sign of desperation and dealing with presence of mind
With the only hope that some solution is there to find
The animals too go or pass through same condition or similar
I memorize my parent seized with their love for me in particular
What I could not understand most was their stubborn attitude?
Why were they still refusing to budge from faith with gratitude?
They were not fully clothed and witnessed all the seasons
I could see no visible sign of fatigue with any of the reasons
May I was the only hope for their bright tomorrow
They did not bother or surrendered or other things to allow
Mother would never complain of any ill treatment
She might be passing through so much agony at that moment
She would watch me with affection and laugh it out
I would demand for anything and ask her about
Father would get little irritant and loose the temper
He would regret for having being short of or poor
But nevertheless he had the lion’s heart
I could always see him resolute with very good art
Today they are not with me but I am blessed
In life I met all the successes and never faced
Any shortage but got it easily with comfort
I slip into memory with folded hand to report
How parents were undergoing all woes with hardship?
They had no one besides to offer the hand of friendship
Only faith in supreme authority helped them to over come
All problems and hardships were nothing but welcome
I pray the almighty not to rob me of golden past
I revert to the old memory whenever slight doubts are cast
I learn the lessons of tolerance and resolute action
My parents were never frustrated with reaction
They lived with whatever little they had
It was not the reason to feel sad
They were strong enough not to feel bad
They felt for not looking after me well and properly fed
Such things never occur in human being life
Only fortunate may pass through the edge of knife
It is good to preserve it as precious matter
We will know the true value of well being later

I was a Child
I was not the one
Who killed my father
I was quite young
When he died.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
They say he loved me
Willed me grow great
He played with me
We sang in the eves.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
We hoped for brightness
And for tomorrow
Then he slumped
To breathe his last.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
Dirge for me I pray
Papa lives no longer
Beady salt water drops
From my sockets.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
Things happened fast
Leaving me stunned
I racked my brain
I rack it still.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
I cling onto mama
Perhaps she'll keep
Will console me well
For days gone by.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
I search her eyes
To find some faith
She must stay here
Ever at my side.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
She too escapes
Abandons me quick
I am raw and untaught
I have learned no trade.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
My father's brothers
Like not my face
Gang together, they say
We must squelch him.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
He must not be great
Like his father
How he struts
Like the old block!
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
This chip will be a cyber
If we lag and tarry
Hound him like the jackal
Aim at his blood.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
I run fast and scurrily
I fain would live
Great to be like papa
Greater even than he.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think
Now I am a man
I truly can know
I am not too dazed
Even to think.
I was a child, what could I know
I was too dazed even to think

I was too....
I was too busy to concentrate on daughter
With her funny ways I used to burst in laughter
Such was her sweet voice and innocent face
I was running behind her with little slow space
Days were riding on with high speed wind
Where was the time to think and find?
She was growing with faster pace
I too was too left out of the race
Alas! I could stop the time with imagination
She was lovely child borne out of good combination
Life was full of joy and she was our only hope
Suddenly I found myself walking on tight rope
It increased my pulse rate as it reminded me of something
She was opening up
as rose and I was ageing
What would be her fate or future in coming days?
What should I do for her to find the easy ways?
Her innocent days were just yesterday’s talk
It was gripping my mind when I used to go for walk
Was it not the genuine concern on part of father?
The thought itself was driving me further and further
She must be parted with very good education
At no stage in life she should feel alone or suffocation
She must have all the training as required
I immediately put my plan in action and enquired
She will come out as brilliant child
Intelligent, wise, beautiful and mild
She must be at heart very generous and kind
No one would think bad of her and mind
Normally what all parents think and do?
Wish that their kids prosper and pass through
Nothing should hamper their growth and future
They should get settled in their life tenure
I was no exception and thought the same
Her young age and maturity all off suddenly came
It left me thinking and in state of panic
It was not matter of joke or place for picnic
The Concern and fear made my nights barren
Change was unexpected and came all of sudden
I used to murmur in sleep and sake up at night’
“Must think and take steps” I thought it right
As wife had left amidst half way of the sea
She was only child of our love of tree
It was my only desire to see her in comforts
I had to concentrate my energy and double the efforts
I am very much sure of her golden days
She is humorous but must find ways
I have high hope in her to top and excel
Life should not contentious and pass well

Abortion is Evil
Baby, are you gonna kill
Your baby in the womb, again?
Baby, can you stay happy,
Walking in this sinful lane?
Your choice, you wanna exercise
Means murder cold-blooded of child;
The guilt, ill-effects of this vice
Can haunt all life and are not mild.
Each child that’s formed is by God’s grace –
A priceless wealth that He bestows;
The womb is made to keep the race,
In proper number, in due course.
Good parenting begins in womb;
Abortion can’t give you mind’s peace;
The sacred womb that turns a tomb,
Can’t help you live your days in ease.
You knew what sex can sometimes bring –
The unborn child’s no life-less mass!
The death-knell for the child you ring –
A curse could befall you, Alas!
So, baby, do not abort, please;
You cannot go against God’s plan;
Accept the unborn child with peace
And God will add your earth’s life-span!
Mothers, must you kill again?
Fathers, must you abet crime?
Don’t hold your unborn with disdain;
Each child brings joy and blessings prime!
God gifts parents, children by lease,
And forms them without big disease;
Take heart and deliver them, please;
God will bless you and give you peace!

Missing Link
A sickly child lie
frail on the sofa in the living room.
A knock on the door,
His mother opened.
The man who entered the child knew it was his father.
Whose child is this?
“It is your youngest son” his mother said.
The children in the street
all had a father; the child had waited for him.
But his father ignored him,
gave chocolate to his sister and brother,
then he drank from a bottle,
his mother threw him out.
Next day asked his mother, ” are you sure he is my father? ”
She slapped her son’s face and cried.

These Are The Days
My grandma was a wise old soul
Took me by the hand not long ago
Said, "Son, what's your hurry, boy slow it down
Taste the wild honey, listen to the sound
Of the wind that's blowin' through the trees
Rivers flowin' to the sea
Yeah they're all headin' home just like you and me
Life's for livin' child, can't you see?"
These are the days we will remember
These are the times that won't come again
The highest of flames become an ember
And you gotta live 'em while you can
These are the days we will remember
These are the days we will remember
These are the days we will remember
These are the days we will remember
So take 'em by the hand, they're yours and mine
Take 'em by the hand and live your life
Take 'em by the hand don't let 'em all fly by
C'mon, C'mon now
Ooo days go by
Yeah, just like a hand out the window wavin' in the wind as the cars go by
Days go by

Precious Moments of Mothering
Here inside this church
We sat on the same pew.
While others focused
their eyes at the front aisle
and towards the pulpit,
here beside me, I found
this woman cuddling
her own baby.
She held her child
close to her bosom,
hugged her
with all her warmth,
whispered words
to her ears
and drowned her child
with her loving smiles.
The child giggled,
closed her eyes and slept,
secured and contented
in her mother's robust arms
cuddled and assured
of a peaceful world.
Here beside this woman
I remembered my three girls
who now have moved out
to manage their own life.
Here on a Sunday in this church
I journeyed to the past days.
This woman's hugging
her own child
This mother's enfolding
her child by her two
strong arms
This mother's peace
while holding her child
touched deeply my heart.
Silently tears ran through
my cheeks as silent whispers
of such a great wave of emotions
of missing my own children
while recalling the precious moments
of mothering a child.

Gentle Child.
Gentle Child of loves sweet passions,
Bring happiness to this loving pair.
Let both have bounding compassion,
Through that childhood that both do share.
Love and laughter be always with you,
Parental strength guide your faltering way.
Happy tears like fresh morning dew,
Will help you on life's path to stay.
A Mother's love a Father's care by day and by night,
Will help you grow into a child to bring joyful delight.
Thrive Gentle child born of loves sweet passion,
Thrive, grow strong, and fulfil your purpose in living.
Remember your childhood's parental compassion,
And live your life in joyful giving.

Entering new day
As usual I am entering new day in life
Everybody is wishing me but first was wife
She held my hand in gratitude
As I had remained with her with great magnitude
Today candles are lighted
Many achievements are highlighted
Some of my hay days and nice moments
Lovely chance to hear and read comments
Child days are sweet and memorable
Taken care of by parents and made capable
This was all needed for strong foundation
As every child needs care with lovely relation
As the days pass by you know about the people around
Your aspirations and upcoming days to look sound
All efforts to come out as successful man
And of course to need a wife as beautiful woman
I remember standing before mirror for several hours
Dreaming about girl to play part in coming years
To pass off the life as shining example
As so many reminded me of life as only a bubble
Life has flowed like water in river
Rushing towards goal but not sure or never
Sometimes disappearing in between without trace
Some of that kind feared to occur and to be faced
As always seen, God is always kind to all
Responds to your prayers and attends the call
Everything is given liberally without judging your acts
Only we fail to recognize it as divine gift in fact
In fact we must be grieving for past year
In many cases we have refused unpleasant things to hear
We have forgotten those old days which were made to bear
Otherwise life was so cruel on us to force eyes with tears
It is reminder to us not to shed tears but to stand fast
Thank God earnestly that he made us forget it at last
Now today we are better off and enjoying the fruit
The path is open with happiness and powerful delight
Many more birthdays may approach
We may be celebrating them as such
What do we remember specially on that day?
Keep me among my brethrens and not push away

God’s Heart
At the moment of dejected spirits
When the pathways of hope
Seem obstructed by the terrible roadblocks
To self-love and acceptance,
Remember the small child
Your mother kissed and father
Took to the amusement park
All joyful and laughing,
The child of eternal dreams
And abiding sweetness.
This is the child you remain
In God’s heart
And the child you can reclaim
For your own heart.

Child
Child,
God knows
how much I love you.
Child,
I may not be
the kind of mother
that you want,
I may not have given you
the kind of life
that you want,
but I'm your mother
and no one can change that.
Child,
you are so dear to me,
and all through my life
I wish nothing
but your happiness.
Child,
forgive this mother
for not having the strength
to protect you from sadness
of being apart
from your loved one.
But child,
I am more sad
when you cry for a man
whom I think
not worthy of you.
So child,
please bear the pain
because I believe
that somewhere
there is someone
worthy of your love.
Child,
trust me
you will find that man,
if you just set yourself free
from your wrong love.
Child,
I'm your mother...
I have raised you,
and I know
what is best for you.

I Would Do For You
The Mother looks into the eyes of her child,
With the love that is so deep and true
Then she hugs her child and loves her child,
And says, “ there is nothing that I would not do for you”.
She loves her child more than she does herself
She’ll places her child above all others
For the child she would die, And not even ask why,
As the child is hers, and she is the mother.
She knows she’ll will always be there for her child
No matter the pain or a reason why,
Just to see it smile or hear it laugh
It is the greatest joy that a mother wont hide.
She will follow her child throughout her life
That being the reason why she says she lives
The love is so great for a mother and her child,
That there is nothing that she would not do or give.
She thinks of her child constantly when she is alone
She knows no pain or discomfort when the child is near,
She is only here to make her child happy and wise
While hoping never to bring her child a tear.
I now look into the eyes of my wife,
The woman who I love with a love so deep and true,
As a mother loves her child, a man he loves his wife
And with her in mind I say, “ there is nothing that I wouldn't do for you”.

The Crys
Crys are various and many-to list, it would go like this: -
The cry of a newborn just come from Heaven
The cry of the mother's joy knowing her child is born well
She holds her child to her breast to let it know that she loves the child
The cry of the father's joy holding the child in his arms
The father kissing the child on its forehead so the child can feel its father
The cry of the wolf in the woods gathering the pack together
The bleat of a mother sheep after giving birth to her child
The cry of a young boy who fell on the ice while ice skating
He had hurt himself quite badly
The cry of a little girl who fell and scraped her knee
Of all the crys in the world these are just a few
