Papa you too....part II
I continue to wonder and also enjoy,
Rejoice at home but not others to annoy,
Tease papa always with broad smile
Soon it was to prove deception for while
If myth was reality and ready to explode,
Dark clouds were at horizons ready to invade,
Time has come when spade is to be called spade,
Memory is short and ready to fade,
One fine morning I ventured into garden,
Flowers were in boom and fruits so laden,
Blossom could be seen and was at its peak,
Future was to turn gloom and soon to be bleak,
I heard laugh and murmuring voice,
It was my papa roaming with lady nice,
Was this real papa who used to be so kind?
I was loosing sense with disturbed mind
I held long breath and wept for while,
Papa at home always used to smile,
we may now loose pap by extra mile
in our own home we may live in exile
was mother at fault that she never learnt?
Did she know already and allow finger to be burnt?
I didn't know as what is to be done,
Is that to be called fate which took on us sudden?
I sat restless but not preferred to hate,
Papa used to come home not very late,
There was never a question where I had to rate,
Was that not cruel game played by the fate?
I still do relish and find you papa dear,
You may have been bitter by long many years,
Mom being ugly you couldn't her bear,
Life may be very hard and out of gear,
You may have compelling reasons,
But you never changed with seasons,
You took great care and looked after us well,
Life continued to be difficult and living hell,
Papa I see the reasons behind,
Though it may be new for me to find,
I won't be carried away by heavy wind,
Heart may feel heavy, thoughts full in mind,
Papa I never blame you for simple reason,
you have been always kind and also human,
Had it been fact so and you with other woman?
I too feel as a female and not as simple layman,
had it not been papa you so dear?
We would have lived always with unknown fear,
Would have faced woes and no one could hear,
Could have lost simply with no patience to ears,
So to say papa you are still the best,
At least we could find home as nest,
We continue to rest trying our best,
Days may pass and future will be test,
I never regret your decision precise,
Hold you with high esteem in our premise,
Never I may utter a word even at my demise,
I say this to self and make you promise

I Found A Reason
(reed)
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
I found a reason to keep living
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
I found a reason to keep singing
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
Oh I do believe
If you dont like things you live
For some place you never gone before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Honey, I found a reason to keep living
And you know the reason, dear its you
And Ive walked down lifes lonely highways
Hand in hand with myself
And I realized how many paths have crossed between us
Oh I do believe
Youre all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
Oh I do believe
Youre all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
And youd better come, come come, come to me
Come come, come to me
Pa papa papa pa

A father's day
It is lovely day to enjoy
Father’s day is to be celebrated with joy
We rejoice at home but he is never annoyed
His discomfort is never conveyed
We use to tease papa but he offered sweet smile
He will never object our activities even for a while
He used stand high in our eyes with great stature
He never compromised with our future
I still continue to think over the matter and wonder
He will occupy main positioning home and thunder
We are safe and protected under his refuge
He is always there to stand by us with new ideas to infuse
If myth was reality and ready to explode,
Dark clouds were at horizons ready to invade,
Time has come when spade is to be called spade,
Memory remains very short and ready to fade,
Father has so much dominating personality
He is always there and knows for his humility
This is one of the for most favored quality
He too is known for his simplicity
We look towards him for such solutions
He may guide us with firm resolutions
It is his great experience that may be useful
It may serves us better as useful
We may be moving in garden
The mind may be occupied and worries may be laden
He may still be there for us to guide
He may always want us to confide
Papa may remain kind and calm
He may serve us better with no more harm
He may remain neutral and very kind
In him all the qualities we may find
I held long breath and wept for while,
Papa at home always used to smile,
we may have to loose in times to come
If he recovers from illness that will be welcome
Papa used to suffer from long illness
He always comforted us with his greatness
I used to realize it very late
I had some misgivings about him and tried to hate
Today when I sit at restless condition
It provides me with some ammunition
I have no explanation to offer
It is state of mind that I may suffer
It has come to my mind very late
It was certainly not our fate
He continued to enjoy and fought with fate
He can’t be lowered and down rated
I still do relish and find you papa dear,
you may have been feeling bitter by long many years
You were towering strength and source of inspiration
It has got direct bearing and fine relation
I
It may be unfair if we fail to pay grand tribute
He has definitely played role and contributed
What we are today is due to his firmness?
We were relying heavily on his alertness

Papa
There was 1 september day that papa worked 2 hard
First he crucified every dandelion out in the yard
Then he screamed at baby twice 4 throwin rocks at passin cars
Baby didnt listen, so like a priceless work of art
He got snatched by his papa who then opened up the closet door
And pushed the four-year-old down, onto the closet floor
Baby cried Im sorry, I wont do it no more
Papa said yeah, I know, thats what this heres 4
Smack!
Ooh papa...
Smack! smack!
Ooh papa...papa...
Smack!
Ooh papa...
Smack! smack!
Ooh papa...papa...
As the door closes, baby starts 2 cry
Please dont lock me up again, without a reason why
Papa just went outside and pointed a shotgun up in the sky
He said how come I dont love my woman?
Then he took aim and died
Boom!
Papa...
Boom! boom!
Papa...papa
Boom!
Papa...
Boom! boom!
Papa...papa...
Dont abuse children, or else they turn out like me
Fair 2 partly crazy, deep down were all the same
Every single 1 of us knows some kind of pain
In the middle of all thats crazy, this 1 fact still remains
If u love somebody, your life wont be in vain
And theres always a rainbow, at the end of every rain

Beneath The Surface
(j.p. maunick)
Here I sit and watch the crowds go by
Papa da papa papa yeah
But theres only one face I can see
If only they would understand
Papa da papa papa yeah
Id open the door and let him in
Chorus:
How long can I hide, what Im feeling inside
My love is a river, thats got to make its way into sea
This feeling cant hide, lord knows Ive tried
Beneath the surface
Beneath the surface
I try, though I know Im hanging on a string
Papa da papa papa yeah
Youre the only one thing on my mind
Keeps floating to a distant shore
Papa da papa papa yeah
As I go on denying myself
Chorus
Oh, keeps turning round in my mind
Oh, round and round in my mind
Here I sit and watch the crowds go by
Papa da papa papa yeah
But theres only one face I can see

Papa, Can You Hear Me
papa, can you hear me?
papa, can you see me?
papa, can you find me in the night?
papa, are you near me?
papa, can you hear me?
papa, can you help me not be frightened?
looking at the skies i see a million eyes
which ones are yours?
where are you now
that yesterday has waved goodbye
and closed it's doors
the night is so much darker
the wind is so much colder
the world is so much bigger
now that i am alone
papa, please forgive me
i know you understand me
papa, don't you know i had no chose?
oh, can you hear me prayin'?
anything i'm sayin'?
even though the night is filled with voices
i remember everything you ever
taught me
evey book i've ever read
can all the words,
all the music help me face what's ahead?
the trees are so much taller
i feel so much smaller
the moon is twice as lonely
and the stars are half as bright
daddy, how i love you
daddy, how i need you
daddy, how i miss you
kissing me goodnight

Tell Me Again
Tell me again papa,
Of how my life was taken, .
Tell me again papa of how reality was shaken.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my life ended.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my human instincts faded.
Tell me again papa,
Of how I took my true form.
tell me again papa,
About the blackness of the storm.
Tell me again mama,
Of how you teet sunk into my skin.
tell me again mama,
Of how I came to win.
Tell me again papa,
About the pain that gave me forever.
Tell me again pap,
Of how you made me so clever.
Tell me again mama,
Of all the time we have to share in our own empire.
tell me again mama,
Oh how I became a vampire.

Papa My Original Teacher
Papa is my original teacher
The strong tread
That ties me to the earth
Papa is my source
That conveys me
Vide the bumpy roads
Papa is my light
That illuminates my paths
Papa is my coach and guardian
Who to taught me to read world map
To avoid missing my tracts
Papa use of rods
Showed me how to cross the seas
He forsakes his merriment
To teach me about life
He schooled me to greatness
To exalt my horns
Papa is an encourager
Papa is my original teacher
Who tutored me to greatness

About Mama and Papa on Those Crucial Times...
the last day was crucial
it was excruciating,
i saw papa kicked mama
and mama fell down the
path
she was moving out from home
she could not take him anymore
everything was over
practically, , ,
the dogs barked
hating papa
they perhaps thought
he was a total stranger in
his own house
and they do not recognize
him as their
master anymore...
i walked away from home
on that crucial day
i did not want to know
what happened after
i heard papa died in
all pain
you told me that there was
that inevitable conclusion
that papa never loved mama
despite their five children
and 50 years...
i never believed you
i decided never to believe you
i believed that face in the mirror
half is papa's
the other half is mama's
how can there be two of them in me
if they never really loved each other?
they were sick and tired
those were the reasons
they forgot
that was the cause...

Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Papa was a rollin' stone
It was the third of september
That day i'll always remember, yes I will
'cause that was the day that my daddy died
Never had a chance to see him, no
Never heard nothin' but bad things about him
Mama, i'm depending on you to tell me the truth
Mama just hung her head and said
Chorus
Papa was a rollin' stone
Wherever he laid his hat was his home
And when he died
All he left us was alone (repeat)
Hey, mama, is it true what they say
That papa never worked a day in his life
Some bad talk going around sayin'
Papa had there outside children
And another wife
That ain't right
Heard some talk about papa and his storefront
Preachin'
Talkin' about saving souls and all the time
Leaching
And dealing in dirt
Stealin' in the name of the lord
But mama she just said
Chorus
Say, I heard my papa was a jack of all trades
Is that what sent papa to an early grave?
Folks say papa would beg, borrow or steal just
To pay his bills.
Hey, mama, folks say papa was never much on thinkin'
Spent most of his time chansin' women and drinkin'
But mother, i'm depending on you to tell me the
Truth
But my mama she just said

Papa He Said
Oh papa he said you must turn the lights down low
Oh papa he said that way no one will ever know
And papa he said what kind of trouble are you in?
Well papa he said you must go down on your knees
Oh papa he said you must do what it takes to please
Papa he said if youve done everything Ive told you to
And Ive never had the feeling in the past
And I never felt I needed to impress
I should know
Well papa he said you must walk up the hill
Oh papa he said if you dont someone else will
Papa he said if youve done everything Ive told you to
And Ive never had the feeling in the past
And Ive never felt I needed to impress
Well papa he said you must turn the lights down low
Oh papa he said that way no one will ever know
Papa he said if you follow him wherever he may go, dont say no
Oh papa he said you must walk up the hill
Papa he said if you dont no one else will
No one else will
Turn the lights down low
No one will know
Turn the lights down low
The lights down low...

Princes Familiar
Please be philosophical
Please be tapped into your femininity
Please be able to take the wheel from me
Please be crazy and curious
Papa love your princess so that she will find loving princes familiar
Papa cry for your princess so that she will find gentle princes familiar
Please be a sexaholic
Please be unpredictably miserable
Please be self absorbed much (not the good kind)
Please be addicted to some substance
Papa listen to your princess so that she will find attentive princes familiar
Papa hear your princess so that she will find curious princes familiar
Please be the jerk of my knee Ive fit you always
You finish my sentences I think I love you
What is your name again no matter Im guessing your thoughts again correctly and I love the way
You press my buttons so much sometimes I could strangle you
Papa laugh with your princess so that she will find funny princes familiar
Papa respect your princess so that she will find respectful princes familiar
Please be strangely enigmatic
Please be just like my

Was I Right Or Wrong
(gary rossington - ronnie van zant)
Like a restless leaf in the autumn breeze
Once I was a tumblin weed
Like a rollin stone, cold and all alone
Living for the day my train would come
I never cared for school or any golden rules
Papa used to always say I was a useless fool
So I left my home to show them thay was wrong
And headed out on the road singing my song
Then one sunny day. the man, he looked my way
And everything that I dreamed of, it was real
Money, girls and cars; and big long cigars
And I caught the first plane home so papa would see
When I went home to show em they was wrong
All that I found was two tombstones
Somebody tell me please was I right or wrong
Oh, such a sad song
First I got lost, then I got found
But the ones that I love are in the ground
Papa I only wish you could see me now
Take a listen papa
Whoo, I learnt how to play my guitar
Gonna be a superstar
First I got lost, then I got found
The ones I love are in the ground
Wont you tell me please was I right or wrong
If theres any way you can hear what I say
Papa, I never meant to do you wrong
All the money, girls and cars. and all the words and all the cigars
Papa, I just want you to know they couldnt take your place
When I went home to show em they was wrong
All that I found was two tombstones
Somebody tell me please was I right or wrong
Oh, such a sad song
First I got lost, then I got found
But the ones that I love are in the ground
Somebody tell me please was I right or wrong

Tell Me Why
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
Well I gave you everything I had
But you left me sittin on my own
Did you have to treat me oh so bad?
All I do is hang my head and moan
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
If theres something I have said or done
Tell me what and Ill apologize
If you dont, I really cant go on
Holding back these tears in my eyes
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me
(hey!)
Well Im begging on my bended knees
If youll only listen to my pleas
If theres anything I can do
cos I really cant stand it, Im so in love with you
Ohhhhhh!

The Little Girl's Song
Do not mind my crying, Papa, I am not crying for pain.
Do not mind my shaking, Papa, I am not shaking with fear;
Tho' the wild wild wind is bideous to hear,
And I see the snow and the rain.
When will you come back again,
Papa, Papa?
Somebody else that you love, Papa,
Somebody else that you dearly love
Is weary, like me, because you're away.
Sometimes I see her lips tremble and move,
And I seem to know what they're going to say;
And every day, and all the long day,
I long to cry, 'Oh Mamma, Mamma,
When will Papa come back again?'
But before I can say it I see the pain
Creeping up on her white white cheek,
As the sweet sad sunshine creeps up the white wall,
And then I am sorry, and fear to speak;
And slowly the pain goes out of her cheek,
As the sad sweet sunshine goes from the wall.
Oh, I wish I were grown up wise and tall,
That I might throw my arms round her neck
And say, 'Dear Mamma, oh, what is it all
That I see and see and do not see
In your white white face all the livelong day?'
But she hides her grief from a child like me.
When will you come back again,
Papa, Papa?
Where were you going, Papa, Papa?
All this long while have you been on the sea?
When she looks as if she saw far away,
Is she thinking of you, and what does she see?
Are the white sails blowing,
And the blue men rowing,
And are you standing on the high deck
Where we saw you stand till the ship grew gray,
And we watched and watched till the ship was a speck,
And the dark came first to you, far away?
I wish I could see what she can see,
But she hides her grief from a child like me.
When will you come back again,
Papa, Papa?
Don't you remember, Papa, Papa,
How we used to sit by the fire, all three,
And she told me tales while I sat on her knee,
And heard the winter winds roar down the street,
And knock like men at the window pane,
And the louder they roared, oh, it seemed more sweet
To be warm and warm as we used to be,
Sitting at night by the fire, all three?
When will you come back again,
Papa, Papa?
Papa, I like to sit by the fire;
Why does she sit far away in the cold?
If I had but somebody wise and old,
That every day I might cry and say,
'Is she changed, do you think, or do I forget?
Was she always as white as she is to-day?
Did she never carry her head up higher?'
Papa, Papa, if I could but know!
Do you think her voice was always so low?
Did I always see what I seem to see
When I wake up at night and her pillow is wet?
You used to say her hair it was gold-
It looks like silver to me.
But still she tells the same tale that she told,
She sings the same songs when I sit on her knee,
And the house goes on as it went long ago,
When we lived together, all three.
Sometimes my heart seems to sink, Papa,
And I feel as if I could be happy no more.
Is she changed, do you think, Papa,
Or did I dream she was brighter before?
She makes me remember my snowdrop, Papa,
That I forgot in thinking of you,
The sweetest snowdrop that ever I knew!
But I put it out of the sun and the rain:
It was green and white when I put it away,
It had one sweet bell and green leaves four;
It was green and white when I found it that day,
It had one pale bell and green leaves four,
But I was not glad of it any more.
Was it changed, do you think, Papa,
Or did I dream it was brighter before?
Do not mind my crying, Papa,
I am not crying for pain.
Do not mind my shaking, Papa,
I am not shaking for fear;
Tho' the wild wild wind is hideous to hear,
And I see the snow and the rain.
When will you come back again,
Papa, Papa?

I Wonder Where My Papa Is?
I wonder where my papa is,
Oh, where could he have gone,
I wonder why he does not come
And see his Lilly Long.
He would come and sit by me
When the fever burnt my brow,
I wonder where my papa is,
For he comes not near me now.
I hear no more the foot pace
In the hall by my door,
Where he would gently, gently tread
Upon the oaken floor.
His place is vacant by the hearth,
There stands his easy chair;
I hear no more his loving voice
Raising the evening prayer.
The last time I saw my papa dear
Was just five days ago,
He took me in his arms and said,
"You are getting better slow,
Thank God, my little Lilly pet
Will soon be well again,
And run about the house and play
With little Nettie Lane."
I wonder where my papa is,
Oh, where could he have gone,
It cannot be he has forgotten
His little Lilly Long.
No, he never would have left me
And mamma without aid;
I fear my papa has fallen
A victim of the "plague."
The mother listened to her child,
Her heart filled with pain
To hear her loved one mourn for him
Who would never come again.
Tears were falling from her eyes,
From her bossom heaved a sigh;
Little Lilly asked in wonder,
"Mamma dear, what makes you cry?"
"Dearest Lilly must I tell you
That your papa is no more,
That he cannot come and see you
And caress you as of yore.
He has gone to live with Jesus,
In the heavenly home above,
Where are dwelling the blessed
In God's everlasting love."
Lilly listened to her mother,
She uttered not a sound,
O'er her little pale cheeks softly
Tears began to trinkle down;
At last she sweetly murmured,
"Mamma dear, you and I
Must live so we can meet papa
In Heaven, by and by."
"Yes, my child," the mother answered,
"Your words are very true,
While we live on earth we should keep
The heavenly land in view;
Then bright on earth will be our future,
Bright as a shining star;
We will live in love together,
Till we reach that home afar."
