Missed everything
I missed everything that was connected
It never flooded mind and affected
Yet occupied most of the time
Tears may role out from eyes sometimes
Today we are fully grown up
Be always ready on feet and jump
As life has remained a great challenge
Sometime proving difficult and hard to mange
I missed childhood street plays
When we used to run all over the ways
In rain to rush and have dance in showers
Friends will also run after and follow
How to forget class rooms and colleagues?
Secretly managing all answers and clues
Without the knowledge of class teacher
All notorious guys throwing arrows and playing archers
Mother to run after carrying the food dish
With annoyance and love requesting to finish
But not listening to her and proving difficult
Beaten by stick then with little of insult
Memory passes like film trailer
One after one scene reminds of failures
How I was to prove weak at studies?
All types of taunts from friends and neighborhood ladies
Everything looks like happy journey with lone passenger
Nothing seems hostile in life with any kind of danger
Yet those days remained crucial with bleak future ahead
I was to prove able man when time came to lead
Today I am somewhere on the front line
Managing country’s defense and life line
All loop holes to be plugged in times to come
Memory forces me to smile and welcome
How was I careless and known notorious child?
How all the family members was nice and very kind?
I was taken care of all the demands
Even though punished sometimes in open sky to stand
I wished all the children same
From whatever background they came
They were the loved ones and liked
Sometimes might have been beaten and disliked
I loved each and everything connected with childhood
How people will come and complain about me from neighborhood?
I failed to understand at that time why where they irked for nothing?
One thing was sure that we were all trouble shooters and certainly did something
I have rifle by my side but not at all detracted
I have taken up the position and almost inspected
Some movement across the border is seen with naked eyes
Yet memory hunts to invade me with all its force
By heart I am still child and careless
All innocence not gone yet on the face
I try to become child and slip into sweet memory
Every human being deserves some place and is quite necessary

Really Unforgettable
Child school days are really unforgettable
Not that that it all confined to school table
It did something more to feel for other children
To think about them and learn new thing even
The greatest things was to learn about tolerance
May came with notorious type of activities and performed also at once
When pulled up by teacher then they understood some fair meaning
It was something more apart from learning
My memory rushed me back to two new friends
Both were from poor family and unable to meet the ends
Yet they may enter school politely with clean cloths
They were clever and innocent but powerful in math
I had special leaning for their attitude
For little favor they used to express gratitude
Always down to earth and very much expressive
Not at all hostile but very much polite and submissive
I noticed their absence for two days
There were not to be seen around as were unable to pay
Their fees for further months and hence had gone for farm labor
The teacher disclosed the fact in open and I decided to favor
'We want to come of our own 'was the polite reply
I unsuccessfully tried for help but it was futile try
What a way of living standard with full satisfaction?
What do we take it as an shining example or good indication?
Both have risen to highest position one can ever dream
Even though they had remained till last in our team
For so many years they remained not in contact
But some dividend was paid to them for hard act
Nothing goes in drain or in vain
The success then comes in chain
Bad old days don't remain for long time
They are replaced later on as happy days sometimes
My eyes got little wet when memory rushed all of sudden
Old days are sometimes remembered with clear vision
We analyze it with smile on face for the foolish actions of past
Yet it gives lots of joy and happiness even if fade away very fast

Difficult to forget
It is difficult to forget near ones
They won’t be missed by some one
But by persons of close vicinity
And all members of the family
We may go on missing them forever
One day they may fade away however
They may still come and invade the memory
You may think and add to tension and worry
Any new place of similar nature may force you to think
You will slip into deep memory and try to sink
It will give you momentary relief and some kind of joy
Even though it is sad to miss any one and enjoy
We are sentimental and everything has some attachment
We may try to get near it and make happy comments
When that thing becomes thing of past
Some memory may not be forgotten and long last
More you cry and miss
He will get shock and a pulse
Where ever he is, he will have pain
As he will be in heavenly abode to remain
Insted do a thing which was so dear
He always tried for to be near
He will be with you for the years
And remind you he is with you and in your tears
These are unforgettable painful moments
There are no words left for comments
Yet we go on remembering them as and when feel free
We may have all comforts as if sitting under the shed of tree

Remember Me, The Child! Michael Jackson: In His Own Words!
Remember me, the child!
Look past the man, deep into the innocence of my eyes
A towering giant of a man before I was grown
Still, searching for the childhood I have never known
Have you seen my childhood, the innocence of my age?
Remember me, the child! A life devoid of its shade!
Remember me, the child!
The child, forced to grow up long before his time
The evil had landed; life, I was outdone
Haunted by the image of the man I have become
A life less wanted, with an ever mounting cost
Remember me, the child! I tried to beat it, but lost
Remember me, the child!
Follow on this journey into the mystery of my life
Dark shadows and buried secrets, controversies reigned
Unable to grow up, mines was more of torture, and pains
Enslaved by the demands of a vindictive ideal
Remember me, the child! The horrors of my ordeal!
Remember me, the child!
A thriller of epic melodies, I sang the songs of life
I danced my way into hearts with a musical rage
Transcended every border, the world was my stage
I bridged the racial, cultural divide, my talent defined me
Remember me, the child! The music, my legacy!
Remember me, the child!
Look past the image, into the innocence of my eyes
Walk with me in an adventure down memory lane
See what it costs to wear the honor of my name
I may be bad, with an attitude, still, I am who I am
Remember me, the child! The legacy, the man!
Remember me, the child!
Like a burnt of flame, there is no more light
The journey has ended, it took flight with wings
In the twinkling of an eye, gone with the wind
The blossom is no longer a flowering bloom
Remember me, the child! Sadly, gone too soon!
Childhoods End (live)
Track 9 _Misplaced Childhood_
And it was morning.
And I found myself mourning,
for a childhood that I thought had disappeared.
I looked out the window,
And I saw a magpie in the rainbow, the rain had gone
I'm not alone, I turned to the mirror,
I saw you, the child, that once loved.
The child before they broke his heart,
Our heart, the heart that I believed was lost.
Hey you, surprised? More than surprised,
to find the answers to the questions,
Were always in your own eyes.
Do you realize that you give it on back to her?
But that would only be retraced in all the problems that you ever knew,
So untrue.
For she's got to carry on with her life,
and you've got to carry on with yours.
So I see it's me, I can do anything
And still the child,
'Cos the only thing misplaced was direction
And I found direction.
There is no Childhood's End.
There is no Childhood's End.
Cos' you are my childhood friend.
Cos' you are my childhood friend.
Oh lead me on.
Hey you, you've survived.
Now you've arrived,
to be reborn in the shadow of the magpie.
Now you realize, that you've got to get out of here.
You've found the leading light of destiny,
burning in the ashes of your memory.
You want to change the world.
You'd resigned yourself to die a broken rebel,
But that was looking backward.
Now you've found the light.
You, the child that once loved,
The child before they broke his heart.
The heart, the heart that I believed was lost
So it's me I see, I can do anything.
I'm still the child.
'Cos the only thing misplaced was direction, and I found direction.
There is no childhood's end.
There is no childhood's end.
There is no childhood's end.
I am your childhood friend.
Oh.. lead me on

The garden
I couldn’t take my eyes off the scene
As it was unusual for me to have seen
The death of son who was born some hours back
Everybody in home were stunned and in shock
The garden comes to life when season comes up with flowers
It was evident from the fact that earth had enough of rain showers
My garden too was blessed with arrival of beautiful baby
We all had prayed for it so song and became so much happy
The happiness was short lived as child breathed little
We all tried hard but he breathed for a while and failed to settle
This was totally unexpected and sent us in shock waves
He brought the hopes for short while and caved in
I was given no room to think about the sad departure
The child was our great hope for the future
Even though I had daughter and son in family
The child was welcome and we missed him sadly
If all the flowers in garden boom freely and survive
No one may have faith in god and believe
Some flowers fade early and some stay for longer
It is philosophy of life that we all are stage actor
I consoled self and left it to the best counsel
Even though it was difficult to come out and feel well
I gave final look at the dead son and dropped few tears
The grief was proving difficult and taking me over
I know it is very difficult to bear and act
It is not in our control also to deny the facts
Life is temporary stage and one will have to leave
There is no other option and we got to believe

Why Do Children Want To Grow
Why do Children
of now adays
Want to grow so fast
to look grown up
to think grown up
But still be a child at heart
I would live my childhood
OVER again just to be a child
to have pure heart
Pure minds, pure dreams
Instead of a childhood of distain
To play without a care
And see the magic of Mother Nature
And use imagination
To dance on rainbows
And white fluffy clouds
To play hide and seek
In the candy land of our dreams
To ride on unicorns
And sprinkle fair dust
To take a flight in
A midsummer dream
Why would children of today
Pass all this by
Just to be grown up
In a world like ours
Why lose the innocence
Of childhood sweet dreams
Just to rush into
The uncertainty of life
Why bypass your childhood
Just to be an adult of today
only to yearn the loss
of you childhood of yesterday

Her mind
What is figuring actually?
May not be the fact really
She should never cry
I always care and try
Let her be at her original mind?
She is universally known as kind
She will loose the shine
If goes off the trace meanwhile
Nothing should be grudged or borne
The heart may stand totally torn
No impulse may pass through
It may then be difficult to prove
We stand to loose in game
No one but we should share the blame
Love is only solution and way out
Everything will be fruitless if we talk about
Be a mother to child
Shed the impression that you are wild
You kind woman with lots of affection
You speak noble and show with action
Be centre core of the universe
Prove asset with no more curse
I find whole world at your feet
Let us smile whenever we meet
Women are in fact goddesses
Nothing can go before them as misses
She is there for every purpose
At least I will have honor before her to depose
Why I see whole world’s reflection?
Pain, joy, agony and all the reactions
Faced with no complaints in all the seasons
I see absolutely no cause or reasons
Why man can not find his origin?
Why there should be deviation or margin?
Who in fact will loose or win?
I see in it as total sin
World is same as was before
We have never changed and failed to adore
Mother was mother and sister was sister
Lover has remained same in true color as lover
I love regardless of color
She may be in fact minor or major
I shall continue to grow
Let there be odd to river flow
I may miss all the Gods
I may even miss the words of lords
What may matter most in crucial life?
Who servers as good mother, sister, lover or wife?
Let us act humble and stand for cause
It is unwarranted and of no use
Be it women’s day or child abuse
We can never stand alone and refuse
I do not know what today’s scene is
It will be difficult to predict tomorrow’s scene
Let us pray for no more ugly scenes
We must remain watchful and very keen
All praises to serving woman
Home too is adored by her for working man
She may remain at pivotal position
The life train may always remain in motion

Children Of The Heart
Have you ever left?
Your childhood alone
Have you ever let?
Your childhood dreams go
I've never really known
The joys a child should know
I've never really seen
What it's like to just being a child
But in each of us there lies
A child breaking to be free
To learn life's mysteries
In child like dream
To run with friends and family
Free just like a breeze
To play in the fields
Of a childhood memory's
What is it really like?
To be a warrior of old
What is it really like?
To be innocent in ones life
What is it really like?
To be a hero in a child's dream
I sigh and often dream
What it would be like to be free
Free of all your burdens
In a child's innocent world
Of dreams
Can you explain to me?
What the mystery a child hold's
Why do we crave
Our childhood of old
I smile and think often
Deep inside my soul
There will always be a child
Bursting forth to be free
Just wanting to let go
There will always be a child
Wanting all their dreams
To fly into a world of fantasy's
And just being free
Smiling softly to myself
I close my eyes and dream
Of when I was a little girl
Reliving all my dreams

Journal of a Travellers Mind n Heart Jan 2011
A Diary of a Travellers Mind
The world is a stage... where we perform an act.
and then to situations we blindly hastily react.
When our share is done, we have played our part.
Either by breaking or mending a tattered heart.
Our childhood playmates with time all drifted away.
With the shrinkng world, back they came some way.
Childhood memories come with tenderness to play.
Innocent days of joy, that never could slip away.
Shares many a lost smile, extended so generously.
Wiping away, controlled tears that now flow effortlessly.
The tears and all the fears soon will see its end
......when to the angels call our soul will lend,
Make the best of life, with respect, sweetness it must be
To the values of life which should be a great priority...
Memory is a special diary that we carry in our hearts,
Warm and gentle, no careless hands can tear it apart,
Of the Wonder Years we shared with friends, loved ones
A treasured journey under God's glorious golden sun....

Out of gear
The time gear has gone out of gear
All type of innocence and mlischief to bear
Not the golden days but fear may follow
No rest, no peace, no memory will allow
It was mother's hand that had kept you low
You were there troubling her and not intended to follow
The same is hunting you now and reminds
All that was good you missed and did not find
Time cycle may not be taken back
You were naughty and jumping jack
Same thing you followed in your youth and sought
That thing should have been avoided or not ought
It has gone with winds and disappeared
The consequences are now feared
Many things may come out of cupboard
That may off set you while walking on the road
It was not all that good you did
Now you resent and has no lead
Still you have third sense to read
The fall out in future before you are dead
It may not allow you to sit quiet
You may even try to forget
The memory may follow even in sleep
But it will stay forever even if you to try to give slip

Life not together
Life is not what it meant to be
It is difficult to get from it free
Meanwhile you have already become big tree
You can’t escape from the responsibility and flee
As a child you have remained together
Your absence at any time makes family to bother
You feel it as yoke on your neck
All will heave a sigh of relief when you are back
In school you are together with friends
Study may continue with progress and day may end
Game in ground with securing a clear goal
No one has liked it with ending in foul
Youth has knocked the door as if arrival of spring
High ambitions and colorful dreams with songs to sing
Very much liked by all in family with high hopes for future
You are making everybody joyous and making it sure
You have loved and remained together through out
You were carefree and had nothing to think or bother about
One delicate face of innocent was already over
You wanted somebody else to provide you the cover
You have something in heart to take care
You want your dream girl to come from somewhere
Take the legitimate place and rule the kingdom
It is going to be an end of your freedom
So far you have lived and spent together
You had brother, sister father and mother
You never looked beyond four walls
Now you are out to receive sweet calls
Your priority is fully changed
You are out to create place of your own and manage
It is lovely life that is in your mind
You search for beautiful mate and wish to find
The search ends in success
You have it with pride and smiling face
The reality is before you to realize
You may have to act responsibly and be very wise
Only few years have been very lucky for you
You were proving talent and everything was going through
You have whatever you had desired in life
Now you had the companion in the form wife
Life is another name of tragedy and comedy
No one has got any clue or some kind of remedy
It spoils your carrier and spent with lots of worry
Time is approaching soon to feel bed with sorry
Life ways have become wide open and separate
You have no good relation to feel proud and relate
Days seem longer than night and nights too shorter
Your are considered fool and serious talk is leading to laughter

So Tired
Scent on a postcard
A memory left behind
Warm hand, cool look but no time...
Winsome lose some
Hung up on old flame
My heart depends on fire
So who am I to make demands on love?
...relax and walk on by
So tired
So tired
Beaten like a drum
So tired
Living life alone
So tired
Beaten like a drum
Kiss the right faces
And tap the party line
Short measure of cheap skate pleasure
Easier said than done
Sip the night water
But not too drunk to say
Well just who am I to ever hope to love you?
Id turn and shy away
So tired
So tired
Beaten like a drum
So tired
Living life alone
So tired
Beaten like a drum
Once upon a bed
You said you loved me
Once upon a bed
Those eyes of blue
Now what am I supposed to do?
So tired -
So tired
Beaten like a drum
So tired
Live my life alone, so alone
Once upon a bed
You said you loved me
Once upon a bed
Those eyes of blue
And what am I to rhyme with you?
Now I lie alone and so defenceless
Dream of love in sunny daze with you
So tired...

Someone to call
I wish some one to call
I fear my imminent fall
May be days are over
Where can I find cover?
Do you suggest it with friends?
Will they rush at the time of my end?
Will they spare their precious time?
I am afraid they may come sometime
Whole scene passes off me like trailer
How I look mean and smaller?
Had I done enough for my brethren?
Who do they now bother and concern?
I miss them one by one
They were so close and near ones
I might have offended them many times
They were always ready in my bad times
I was bitter and always condemned
They may not tell on face but always named
All troubles were attributed to my handling
I was not welcome at all while dealing
I am left with handful of friends
I have come to terms and made many amends
Yet the old memory does not disappear
They want it not to happen and simply fear
I know their feelings but can’t do anything
I repent it now for doing wrong thing
They were kind enough to tolerate
I would go all out to defame them and narrate
This thought itself is troubling
My feet are shaking and crumbling
I think I may not last more
I want to see them therefore
I give call in wilderness and wait
It is my bad luck or fate
No one is by the side of my bed
Food intake is stopped and artificially fed
I would love to hear familiar words
I fear for some harsh punishment from the lords
I care for no such result after departure
I want old friends by the side for sure

Mothers always
Mothers always support their children
Don't leave them alone in critical times even
Whatever the case may be
She will make the children to feel free
After attaining comfortable position
We relate incidence with nice composition
It is nice to admit sweet memory
When she is no more with us to feel sorry
As the cycle changes, we move on
From childhood to adulthood we have smoothly gone
There we act differently and behave
Forget about her part as if didn't have
But childhood memory may never fade
As mother never considered this as trade
It was natural bonding and love
She always comforts us when we go to her
Females generally in any form stand with respect
They are caring and kind when time comes to act
It may be natural inheritance for the girl in fact
Where as males behave differently and strongly react
God has given them kind heart
They always remain as inseparable part
Till death they won't leave us for a moment
She has nothing to feel bad about us or resent

Years in exile
I am back after years in exile
Barring few new things nothing has changed for while
Same way of living and same style with existence
All for the good and no where any pretence
Nice were those days when we had well past time
Those were childhood days and considered as very prime
Everything was enjoyed with abundance of love and affection
It was funny, idiotic and coupled with very rash action
Nice age to remember along with all old friends
We were all known and member of notorious bands
No one may dare to point out or complain at home
We will be given no thrashing but only welcome
We knew well that critical days were ahead
It will prove all crucial to sustain and lead
Childhood was passing off like snow
We were coming up at speed with tendency to grow
We were in exile in our own country
Subjugated by other countries and ruled by many
Forbidden to visit any place as guarded by sentry
We were considered as dangerous for any entry
We had planned to throw them out forcibly
It was known to us that they will pay it very dearly
We had never chosen bloody path and even thought it rarely
It was not good option might have not come up fairly
All kind of terror was let loose on public
They wanted to turn it more tragic
Braking up of moral for us was their logic
But we knew it well as what could be its basic
No country can be kept under heels for longer period
There may be chances of uprising to fill the void
Though some steps may be taken for casualties to avoid
Still it may be little harsh when plan is laid
The youngsters or youth are always considered as stumbling block
They may be well prepared for final assault with surprise attack
As the public sentiments run high and turn against enemy
The scene later on may prove to be suicidal and stormy
Whatever the case may be, we were picked as possible threat
We were forbidden to see each other or meet
We were virtually pushed into heavily defended barricade
Still it could not crush us, stop or forbid
Those days have passed of with bitter memory
We are not sore at plight or feel very sorry
We only lament the treatment meted out to children
They were forbidden to come out in street for play even
We had chosen to leave the area once for all
It was of our choosing but a distress call
We could hardly offer any justice for it
Today I witness no change as people openly move and greet

Childhoods End?
(fish / marillion)
And it was morning
And I found myself mourning, for a childhood that I thought had disappeared
I looked out the window
And I saw a magpie in the rainbow, the rain had gone Im not alone
I turned to the mirror, I saw you, the child, that once loved
The child before they broke his heart
Our heart, the heart that I believed was lost
Hey you, surprised?
More than surprised, to find the answers to the questions, were always in your own eyes
Do you realize that you give it on back to her?
But that would only be retraced in all the problems that you ever knew
So untrue
For shes got to carry on with her life, and youve got to carry on with yours
So I see its me, I can do anything
And Im still the child
cos the only thing misplaced was direction
And I found direction
There is no childhoods end
There is no childhoods end
Cos you are my childhood friend
Cos you are my childhood friend
Oh lead me on
Hey you, youve survived
Now youve arrived, to be reborn in the shadow of the magpie
Now you realize, that youve got to get out of here
Youve found the leading light of destiny, burning in the ashes of your memory
You want to change the world
Youd resigned yourself to die a broken rebel
But that was looking backward
Now youve found the light
You, the child that once loved
The child before they broke his heart
Our heart, the heart that I believed was lost
So its me I see, I can do anything
Im still the child
cos the only thing misplaced was direction, and I found direction
There is no childhoods end
There is no childhoods end
There is no childhoods end
I am your childhood friend
Oh, lead me on

My Mother
Mom never differentiated between children
She was going out of her way even
But since I was eldest out of all
She will surely take me with love and affectionately call
Very funny and smiling as I was in childhood
People loved me at my visiting places in neighborhood
Mother will scold me and warn not to go so often
But I may disregard her advice and simply move on
She did everything to bring me up with all kindness
She never bore fatigue or any kind of uneasiness
Her face may remain bright all the time with smile on face
I used to watch here number of hours and suddenly chase
She was always worried about my growing age
What I will be doing in life when suddenly left out of cage
I may not fare well and will harm the future
She was little worried but didn't know for sure
People used to call me naughty and troublesome
Even though I wore innocent smile and looked handsome
They may let me go without any complaint to mother
But mother knew it all and that continued her to bother
I had tears in eyes when I saw her completely aged
Even though she is same as was before but nearly managed
After so many years of away from her I missed every moment
I didn't let her down later on and acted wise for all the movements
She may smile secretly and put a pat on the back
'You were only my concern and source of worry'
She may pull me near and shower all her feelings
I was luckiest person among all to have her as blessings
When I was back from my recent assignment
I did find her in complete ill health with difficult movements
I could hardly stop self and went over to her forehead
Pasted a gesture of fulfillment and tried to read
She was all for praise and smiled
I was not taken up seriously for a while
Today she is less concerned for me than all
I take her with me for evening walk and stroll

Thank You for the Memory
My body tingles as I lay there still feeling your body wrapped around mine
I close my eyes and notice that there is nothing I can do but dream
For you have left me here with nothing but a memory
A memory of what we had what we were
A memory of nothing more at this time nothing to have to look forward to
My heart aches as I open my eyes and turn to see nothing but an empty bed
The scent of you makes me wonder what could have been
It makes me wonder what went so wrong
We had something that could never be replaced and not it has vanished right before my eyes
You think that the memory will be nothing more than a picture
They say “A memory will last a life time”
I say “A memory will only last a life time as long as you can keep it alive inside of your heart”
There is one thing that should be said
Thank You for the memory that will last me a lifetime of joy

Dear Love, Do You Remember?
Dearest one, do you remember,
As we sat side by side,
How you told me that you loved me,
Asked me to be your bride.
And you told me we'd be happy,
Through all the years to come,
If we ever would prove faithful,
As in the days when we were young.
Oh! how well do I remember,
The kind and loving words,
And now as I sat dreaming,
The thoughts my memory stirs.
But the days have passed before me,
And the scenes of long ago,
But I can never forget the
Days that have passed o'er.
Oh! how clearly I remember
The days when we were young,
How we would tell to each other
Of happy times to come,
And as we would sit together,
That dear loved one and I,
Oh, sat dreaming of the future,
And childhood days gone by.
Dearest love, do you remember
The first time that we met --
Our youthful days have gone, love,
I hope you love me yet,
Now we are growing old, love,
Our heads will soon be gray,
May we ever love each other
Till from earth we pass away.
