For all that you do

So if you ask me what it is I do with my days
I will tell you I go through them in such a haze
That I'm really not sure what it is I achieve
But I do have a poem or two up my sleeve! .... Suzanne

I appreciate for all that you do
You are not only woman but in essence a factor very much true
A devoted mother and wife
Otherwise life is like facing an edge of knife

Think of those poor ladies!
They have no time to ready
Their children for going to school
As they have no such facilities to fool

To toil hard in hot sun is entirely different
You can look happiness and that is apparent
I can look in their eyes no future but yes long hope
Even though it is hardest of hard job to walk on rope

Child is tied in bed sheet between trunks of trees
Air flows gently to provide him access totally free
See the happiness on face of woman while she works
Such is the day when she dreams about it and starts

I would love to salute all those women
Who are called heaven valley for all those men?
Now occupying highest position in world
Yet dream about reaching to her kind fold

Oh! Women of all kind you deserve the best
As we have found shelter to rest
You take all our responsibilities
That is rarest of rare to augment our capabilities

We shall be all powerless
On the earth to face
If anything turns unfavorable
You are their to look after and face the trouble

I shall look towards sky and raise my head
In recognition of your gratitude and read
All your sacrifice and lead the way carefree
As I am the only creature so thankful to the mighty tree

You deserve kudos for all you do
Not as wife or mother to take us through
But as an special identity to sail us
With so much of confidence and trust

Mrs. Hitchcock

Hello Mrs. Hitchcock
I hope truly you are doing well
I hope life has been very good to you
But that as time, someday it will tell.
And how are your beautiful daughters
I hope too they are doing fine
I hope they became wonderful women
I hope too they are gentle and very kind.
I hope they are seeking their destiny
In this hard world which we know as life
A hard journey for either woman or man
Or maybe, they became a mother and a wife.
Tell me do they have the beauty of their mother
And also do they have the eyes of their dad,
Do they both like to joke and laugh and enjoy life
And do they cry, when they are very sad.
Do they help others when they are in trouble
The way that you also had taught them to do
And do they sing when they are very happy
And are they virtuous, and also so very true.
Tell me do they also believe in heaven and God
Knowing that he is the reason that they are here
And do they thank him for the mother he gave them
Maybe their life someday, will be someone's mirror.
So once again I hope you are doing very well
I truly hope you have found in life what you sought
Also I hope everyday for you, it is a beautiful day
So again I wish you well, Mrs. Hitchcock.

In The Mind Of A Woman

In the mind of a woman a mother you'll find
For women are loving and caring and kind
The mothering instincts to women belong
Than men less aggressive and more mentally strong,
The men celebrate when the battle is won
But the mother is left for to grieve for her son
She did not raise her son for to be sent afar
For to fight and to die in another man's war
In patriarchal societies deprived of renown
By arrogant males women are still kept down
The mother, the lover, the devoted wife
Without women there would not be human life
The males do compete for the chief of the clan
But it does take a woman for to raise the man.

No Other

Go and hug her
Your mother, your life giver
A soul divine.
Leave not your mother
A woman so kind..............Keya Mukerjee

Mother and no other
I wish again to see her
In kindest form ever known
She is mother of my own

I have wept
With hidden face and kept
Her memory and face
Those always made me cry and chased

It is repeat divine performance
A child gets unique chance
To be born to a mother
Rejoice for a while and not to bother

She is Mother Nature
Every season presents for sure
New leaves and flowers
For old trees with rainy showers

I miss each moment of life
As she has witnessed an edge of knife
To upkeep child away from all misfortune
Sing with melody to quiet with fine tune

Those words baffle me sometimes
Where will she be gone in old times?
I literally miss with wet eyes
When a memory flood and suddenly flies

I not only salute her selfless existence
But bow head in recognition at once
How come she cares so much for lovely child?
When fate is known to witness later on to be blind

Deserving Better

You deserve better than me
Said the Apple to the Tree
For all I do is hold you down
And then I plummet to the ground.
And then you I leave.
You deserve better then me.

You deserve better than I
Spoke the old Man to his Wife
For around you I tied such a heavy load
Now I, must live in that woe.
Then the old man softly cried.
As He stammered, you deserve better than I.

You deserve better than me
Shouted the river to the Sea
For all I do is pollute you
While I never salute you.
Then in the winter time I do freeze.
You deserve better than me.

But without you, the Sea exclaimed
I would be a pond awaiting the rain
You give me the strength that makes me roar
And you give me the power that makes me soar.
And YES, I am a mighty, mighty Sea.
But without you, there would be no me.

The old Woman smiled at Her Husband dear
Through eyes of pain, and many years
“Yes”, the load I carry it is a might load
But the load I carry, is from the load I chose.
Then the old Woman gave the old Man a hug.
For what you called woe, I call love.

I let you plummet unto the Earth
Liken the way I did before your birth
And I was protected, so my roots went deep
Then after many years I became a Tree.
And you, Deserve better than I.
Spoke the Tree, to the Apple that died.

Divine Blessings

Not all people have divine blessing
Especially men certainly find it missing
There are two painful stages not all have to face
Death and pregnancy is certain for women in all the cases

Men face only death pain but may not be able to reveal
Pregnancy is not his prerogative to face and conceal
The woman undergoes both the pain and faces it in real
Fate in both the cases is dangerous and luck is going to seal

So we accord special status to women folk
They are appreciated and always centre of the talk
If you go for any selective words to praise
I think no words may substitute her divine status

How come all prophets and messiahs chose her womb as refuge?
Took shelter for nine months and gave status so huge
This is how women are adored and placed at the top
Even though atrocities and crime against her don’t stop

See the woman in her final stage of pregnancy
When new born is likely to visit beautiful earth with blessings from almighty
What a shine on her face with complete satisfaction!
As if whole of the universe at her feet and gives such an indication

I would bow my head in recognition for her sacrifice
It is her dedication and commitment to fulfill the promises
That world may remain always grateful to her surrender
Even though her counterpart man has proved as offender

God had power and prerogative to give new lease of life
But woman has super power to provide space as wife
Whole world is really indebted to her for special position
At every stage she is dominant with no mark of any question

' I LOVE BEING LOVED BY YOU! '

My life overflows with happiness
As my favorite dreams come true.
My days and nights are magical
Because of everything you do.

You stand by me as troubles occur
And listen to my worries and fears.
You share my burdens and my joys
With faith, compassion and tears.

God’s gift to man is someone to love
Which can be both splendid and rare.
Throughout life there’s nothing better
Then those who will love us and care.

There’s the past, present, future, and beyond
Which will test our measure by what we say and do
Too many overlook the thrill of now
But not I, “for I love being loved by you.”

A GOOD WOMAN’S LOVE

A good woman’s love and sympathetic heart
Are still the most valuable blessings of life.
She becomes our friend, lover, mother and partner
When we treasure, provide and love her as our wife.

Women never forget all we do and say
They recall visions of us both present and past.
We must eagerly commutate the depth of our love
If we wish our relationship to flourish and last.

A good woman’s love can withstand a lifetime
When we pledge our support and thoughts to serve her.
We must conduct ourselves with patience and prayer
For our happiness to stay mutual, everlasting and sure.

All Heavens heroes had their need for love
And were greatly affected by its presence or loss.
A good woman’s love is best of the rest
When nourished with servitude regardless of cost.

ESTHER’S LOVE

Esther of God’s Bible became a king’s queen
Risking all for the sake of love.
She saved her people form total extinction
By responding to her call from above.

All through history just like Esther
Ladies have pledged to protect and serve.
They love, honor, defend and provide
And it’s our admiration they’ve earned and deserve.

What would life be without a woman’s love
Meaningless, lonely, purposeless and sad.
When your blessed by an Esther love her in return
And be sure to let God know you’re thankful and glad.

LIKE A LILY AMONG THE THORNS

Like a lily among the thorns,
So are you among the rest.
Your love is my joy of life
Which by God’s grace is the best.

When I sleep my heart is awake
It is the vice of love within.
By day or night I seek your love
My life mate, my partner, my friend.

You ravish my heart with just one look
When I’m less than you desire.
Your eyes speak without words
As displeasure kindles your fire.

You’re beautiful and extraordinary
Like a fragrant flower from the wild.
I dream of the day you softly whisper
“My love, I carry your child.”

The vines put forth their tender grapes
The fig tree her sweet fruit of life.
My love for you is everlasting
As you nourish my need for a wife.

God gave man a woman to adore
And a woman a man to respect.
God gave us children we love till death
To provide for, cherish and protect.

Until it’s dawn and the shadows flee
I will hold you close and ponder
Our life together past and present
And may our future be blessed by wonder.

Darling I Love You Like A Lily Among The Thorns

Darling I love you with all of my heart and soul
Much more than any of God's blessings on Earth.
It's hard to believe Heaven planned it this way
For your love for me is far beyond my worth.

Life would be meaningless without your love
With no one to cherish, honor, protect and provide.
I treasure our moments and all that we share
You're always my angel of love, at my side.

I love how you love me beyond all compare
I've never seen anyone so wonderful so long.
I can't help but love you absolutely and completely
For every time I think of you my heart sings a song.

Every night before sleep I say thank you to Heaven
For the past day I was allowed to love you and serve.
And if I awake I say thank you once more
For God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve.

Tattler

(ry cooder/russ titelman/washington phillips)
Whenever you find a man that loves every woman he sees,
Theres always some kind of woman thats a-puttin him up a tree.
Now that kind of man, he aint got as much sense as a mule.
You know, everyone dont love you, theyre just a-playin you for a fool
Mmmm, oh, no,
Its not hard for you to understand.
True love can be such a sweet harmony
If you do the best that you can.
If you marry the wrong kind of woman and you get where you cant agree,
Well, you just as well could get your hat and let that woman be.
But a man oughta make a good husband and quit tryin to lead a fast life.
Goin about dressin up other women wont put clothes on his own wife
Well, theres lots of good women who wants to marry, and they want to live well at home.
But theyre fraid theyll might get hold of a rowdy man, cant let other women alone.
And theres lots of good men wants to marry, and they wants to live well at home.
But every time they turn their back, theres another man there askin, darlin, is he gone?

Never hesitate to leave

Never hesitate to leave!

I would never hesitate to leave this world
If my child is in danger or slips out of fold
“Mother would go to any extent” I was told
As certain things are totally free and not sold

I am totally aware that child needs total care
Some of the mother hide it and don’t dare
But what a joy on earth to feel while feeding
Pain mattered less at the time of delivery while bleeding

Each one of us may be dreaming about nice creature
As lots of expectations and dreams for making sure
What a child may bring in for our future life?
How do I feel about it as mother and wife!

My blood is directly flowing in his vanes
Lot many unsaid things are reflected as tales
But whole of world seems so tiny or small
When I hear baby’s cry or simple call

Let all babies get simple care from mother
All happiness with so much dedication and care
It is said child remembers mother when best fed
So later on holds hand of mother and leads

Whole world seems to me a tiny object
If I am to choose I will certainly reject
What a beautiful smile when I start feeding
All so more important satisfaction by her needing

I look at that curly hair
Everything looks so fair
How can I think of going somewhere?
When heaven and happiness is all here

I would love to sink when time comes
I won’t bother whether child later on welcomes or not
At present I see best part on feeding
It is the best present after my wedding

Many mothers may think it as absurd
But it is mother’s love with caring word
Sincere prayer along with it for her well being
My gesture will be after all less of doing

Woman, You Deserve More

Woman, you deserve more than flowers.
You deserve more than vows.
You deserve more than that ring,
Woman, you deserve more than love

The beauty in your eyes
Woman you deserve more than tender touches
The beauty of your voice
Woman you deserve more than kisses

Dear you deserve more,
something unseen, someone untouchable
More than gold, more than diamonds triple fold
Trust me, you deserve more

Honour to Women

The woman is my mother,
She is the wife of my father.

The woman is my wife,
She is also the mother of my children.

I love my mother,
My children love their mother, too;
So, I respect my beloved wife.

Every woman with the veil of Mother is honoured by all,
Heaven lying at the feet of mother, every woman moves proudly.

Woman's Dream

The woman I want to be
A woman of valor and integrity
One that fears the creator of heaven, earth
And everything there in.
A woman with a warm, loving heart
So welcoming, reliable and confident
A woman that the world will confidently
Look up to for any help.

The woman I want to be
A wife that is adorable and supportive
Render my heart to him that wins it
Give my time to love, adore, cherish
Encourage him to soar to greater heights
To achieves his dreams with my support
A forgiving, cooperative wife is all I want to be
Together with the conqueror of all times
To be the flag bearers of what a family is.

The woman I want to be
Mother of adorable children
To love cherish and fend for
They will be the apple of my eye
Children I call my own to teach
The ways of the world
Children that are the twinkling stars
Of my life that will never die out
An exemplary mother is all I want to be.

The woman I want to be
One that’s not perfect but works on her flaws
To get perfection out of them
Not hindered by her failure and mistakes
But corrects, learns from them
To make her life better and worth living.
Unstoppable and will traverse all challenges
To emerge conqueror.

There is so much I want to be
So much I want to live for
This is every woman’s dream
And every woman’s strife.

One Of The Holy Object

Woman has been named as one of the holy object
She may have nothing on hand except one project
Fulfillment in life with or with heavy struggle
Life must flow on without any trouble

I see in picture a well defined woman
Not that she has nice company of man
Not well placed in life but as happiest female
That she might have got from male counterpart

She has every reason to look heaven in child
Rare occasion and all happiness to find
Woman can't be a full woman until have child
A beautiful world to live in and build

Whenever I find good couple on screen
I just slip in memory as if something divine thing is seen
Mother with child is rarest occasion to observe
A selfless duty and that too mother only can serve

What is there in world to see other than this?
We have nothing pay something like fix fees
You see it daily around but get no real glimpse
It gives lot of relief when you see feel no tense

The child may pick her mothers pulse
Even if said gently with no need to converse
I regard such phenomena as divine gift
Where you will never find in mother any shift

Roses have appeal and fragrance may be spread
It is felt by person but can never be read
Like wise motherly feeling is seen and felt
So is the fragrance in air is simply smelt

Examples

What kind of an example will you be
Spoke mother nature to the tree
As it stood so proudly and ever so tall
As though defying to all that it would fall
Will you place your roots deep into the Earth
Then other trees like you will then give birth
Spoke once again mother nature to the tree
Tell me please what type of example will you be.

What kind of an example will you become
Spoke the mother wolf unto her young
Will you be majestic and run fast and free
Running in packs to provide for your family.
Or will you become a mother like I became
But swearing to all you will never be tamed
While fearing no one in the the moonlight or the sun
So please tell me what type of examples will you become.

What kind of an example will you be
Spoke the mother to her daughter upon her knee
Will you be a loyal and devout and virtuous woman
Never doing the things that a lady shouldn't
Being honest and caring through the days of your life
Then being truthful and trusting when you become a wife
And will you become a mother just like me
Please tell me what type of an example will you be.

What kind of an example will you be
Spoke GOD to mother nature as she planted the tree
And what kind of an example have you become
Spoke GOD to the she wolf as she spoke to her young
What hind of an example will you then be
Spoke GOD to the mother with her daughter on her knee
The young ones will do and become from what they see
As the examples will be you spoke GOD to all three.

He’s Gone to England for a Wife

HE’S GONE to England for a wife
Among the ladies there;
And yet I know a lass he deemed
The rarest of the rare.
He’s gone to England for a wife;
And rich and proud is he.
But he was poor and toiled for bread
When first he courted me.

He said I was the best on earth;
He said I was “his life”;
And now he thinks of noble birth,
And seeks a lady wife!
He said for me alone he’d toil
To win an honest fame;
But now no lass on southern soil
Is worthy of his name!

I think I see his lady bride,
A fair and faultless face,
And nothing in her heart beside
The empty pride of race.
And she will grace his gilded home,
The wife his gold shall buy;
But will she ever dream of him,
Or love as well as I?

Definitely A Mother

It was difficult situation for me to carry
Discharge all obligations and make them all merry
I had at once decided to go for begging
But the confidence was shaky and conscious legging

I could not decide to go for any other option
Survival was important and only the question
It was below dignity to go to some one and mention
About immediate plight to have some kind of food or ration

I may toil hard to meet two ends for their sake
As far as physical exertion is at stake!
I can over stretch and attempt for some relief
I felt this was not the time to cry over and express the grief

I find statues at cross roads with enough of illuminations
Mother asking for help helplessly with clear indication
It may be viewed by passers by as fine art piece
But how can those hands afford two pieces of bread with peace?

I decided not to go in for any kind of help
But fight it out my on own and step out
Day and night exertion may not kill a person
But build a confidence with strong reasons

My children are coming up with age
In no time they may be matured enough to manage
What is hard reality behind to face the world?
When children are safe in your shelter and fold

I feel all mothers come out and fairly fight
This is the time to challenge and make others to feel right
How can we see helpless ladies daily at important places?
With beggars bawl only to invite wrath with cruel abuse

I shall make it reality when get the chance to hold ground
Make it as firm bid and show to all that it really looks sound
No civilized society can make us to stand in helplessness
It is the shame that will make them to look down with faces

Mother and child are not be exhibited as an art in statue
They must be taken care of and heard with all its dues
If we consider the child as future of strong nation
This must be seen as an important factor in relation

Where Has My Mother Gone?

Where has my mother gone? I haven't heard from her,
no letters and no phone calls,
When autumn winds begin to blow,
I think of her even more,
I held my mother's hands,
Warm, hard, tight, hard working hands.

On a windy night, I was scared and lonely.
My mother held me tightly, and we slept together,
More than anyone else, my mother prayed
For my complete happiness.

I saw her a year ago, sleeping so soundly.
Couldn't bear to wake her, I kissed her.
I hope you live long-----long, I want to see you again.
I stared at my mother's face,
Her face reflecting a hard, hard life,

I called mother! Mother!
There is no answer, only an echo from far away
Where has my mother gone?
Cold, Cold, Autumn winds.

A Story of Murder

It always amazes me of the cruelty
and barbarism that lingers within our world.
If you are squeamish,
please do not read any further.
For what I am about to write
might well upset you.
This is the story about a murder
of a woman, my friend’s ex-wife.
It is quite disturbing
because what is written is true.
This did happen.

She was lying in her bed.
She had been bedridden for a while.
Her strength had been ebbing away
a little each day.
The murderer who’s mother was a neighbour
looked in on her every once in a while
to make her food and a cup of tea
and to see if she was OK.
The son needed drugs and money,
took his mother’s key.
He let himself in and started to look
for anything that was valuable.
Whether she heard him
and shouted out to him
has not been established yet.
However, what happened next
should not happen to anyone.
He went upstairs and stood beside her bed.
It was probably when she spoke to him
that he started hitting her around the face.
He punched her so hard
that he broke her jaw.
She had no strength to push him away,
but he just kept beating her
all the time around the face.

Then he grabbed something heavy
and smashed it over her skull
caving it in and causing damage to the brain.
However, this callous man was not finished yet.
Grabbing a pillow commenced to smother her.
It is unknown whether she had any strength to struggle
with the injuries she had received;
however, I doubt it though.
The police have caught and charged him
and his trial come up at the Old Bailey later this year.
I just hope they throw the book at him,
as society does not want the likes of him
walking the streets again…
I met this women a couple of times
and she was a lovely person
and did not deserve this kind of end.
I am ending this piece here as my rage
for such a crime will get the better of me
and I will start saying things I should not say.

A Sunday Kind of Woman

I can only imagine for our worlds are far apart
How it would feel to hold this woman mouth to mouth heart to heart
I guess it's a good thing dreaming's free
What would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman want an everyday man like me.
I've had lots of nightlife women you've seen one you've seen 'em all
And I wake up in the morning and I turn and face the wall
And long for someone special's company
But would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman love an everyday man like me.
But would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman love an everyday man like me.
