Even epics mention

Even epics mention of great evil forces and vultures
Both hungry of human blood and destructive forces
Will never allow peace to descend and spread the harmony
What more can be expected out of immense poverty and agony?

We thought time may change with advent of good fortune
The world may move keeping in pace with time and tune
No innocents will be killed and no reprieve for perpetrators
Definite punishment for murderers and warning to collaborators

Can any none claim earth belongs to their ancestors?
Will any one align and proudly say they were invaders?
Is there no humanity left to claim entire globe as personal domain?
What is left across the table to advocate for the peace to remain?

We have become refugees in our own home homeland
The good neighbors have turned hostile foes from friends
Millions of people have shed their blood for next generation
Still it demands more of such actions to come out of desperations

The religion fervor has been taken over by fanatics
Everything has failed including faith and statistics
The people are shot at while offering prayers
There is no one left as peace loving persons or sooth Sayers

What a pity to feel on us when we welcomed the dragons?
We provided them lethal weapons including guns
It was for driving the occupants and to restore the order
The purpose is defeated and now we are occupant and hoarders

It has defeated the medical science
To kill one viral germ we created another germ’s presence
We never knew it may prove deadly even as predecessor
There may be millions blood hungry as successors

No one knows when the land will be cleared of such elements
What type of steps may be effective for counter movements?
We are loosing precious human lives as for counter measures
Still no one is in position to reply and doubly reassure

It is suicidal war and worst than the guerilla warfare
The guerillas could be traced and countered
The suicidal tendency waves can not stopped
They will play havoc and grenades will be lobbed

You can kill insects and bacteria
You can even effectively eradicate malaria
The deadly cancer disease and aids to are brought under control
The terrorism is new deadliest weapon to invite complete fall

It is our own folly to have given birth to terrorists
We knew well there were enough of risks
No one is likely to draw any gain or benefit
The holocaust and misery can not be printed on sheets

I cried whole night

I cried whole night for world peace in east
It was just before dropping of nuclear bomb with holocaust
Millions perished in just few seconds
Never to be seen on face of earth with tragic end

My tears had not dried up and world was again threatened
Millions were rooted from their forefather's homeland
I took deep breathe as it was for time being averted
Normalcy was restored and for time being peace zone was converted

Those deadly weapons of mass destruction are not of old memory
Everybody may shiver with slight occurrence and feel sorry
Wars are not happy occasions to celebrate with joy
Nation in particular and world at large has some army to deploy

I cry in corner for war orphans, destitute and killed
They were bread earner and in real sense skilled
Who will go and wipe their tears with few kind words?
I fear no one will as it is the wish of trigger happy war lords

World's larges democratic country was sent with shock waves
Who knows how many really were buried alive or lost lives?
As mother earth I tested human blood on my surface
As if I was oozing red tears with no strength to face

Let war be taking place at any side of globe
I am the only sufferer to grieve the loss and sob
I feel my children are annihilated for no fault of their crimes
Why can't you all draw some kind of safety lines?

You all assure me about not shedding a blood
Instead, wage a war on creating enough food
Feed all those hungry mouth now dying without source
Divert all destructive means to create strong peaceful force

I dream about complete universe with no violence
Not a skirmish even on boundaries with slight chance
Let people of whole world come out from their old mentality
I may then only be at ease with peace in totality

Cried for Hours

I cried for hours
It was no fault of theirs
They lost the precious lives
My eyes could not believe

How all of sudden man can go wild
Sudden change of turning blind
What would happen to this holy land?
Where foes may act cruel but as friend

Why I should blame the luck?
On simple way I have been struck
I find no hope of survival
It is apparently seen as terror’s arrival

Many lie shattered in pool of blood
All have come here in search of food
They are met with tragic death
We may lament the attack and lay the wreath

I feel like crying further
No option is open and more to bother
Life is totally uncertain
What steps are to be taken to contain?

Many more may be bleeding in streets?
There may be no one to greet
What a pity on human lives?
They have become cheap to knives

Even animals strike only once
They test human blood out of threatened stance
Here human being is hungry of human blood
I try to shed tears for no good

I may pray almighty to give them little sense
Stop all innocent killings and nonsense
It may do no good to humanity as well
There won’t be any body left to tell

We may depart at inappropriate time
Assassin’s bullet may pierce through some times
What will be left behind except painful cry?
All responsible persons should gather strength and ask why

One Person Cannot Bring Peace

One person cannot bring peace to our World but when millions of good people unite
And march for peace in every village, town and city the war inclined may see some light
Beyond the darkness that surrounds them and through the windows of their soul
The light of change may even penetrate we can change others by thought control.

Gandhi brought great change through non violence no greater power than people power
Divided good people are defeated and their flower of peace is a wilting flower
But united we can bring about change as peace never comes through the gun
The dead never hear the birds singing at the going down of the sun

Refugee camps all over the World are crowded with war refugees
Billions are spent on war weaponry and little on poverty and disease
In the news each day we hear of violence and too much of war and terror we hear
The war men with their war on terror have found new ways of spreading fear.

Amongst the fearful population who believe everything that they say
We lose our own sense of direction when respect to such people we pay
You show some people a flowering garden they only see weeds and decay
And any hope of peace will keep on fading as long as the negative have things their own way.

Who reigns supreme

Who reigns supreme and guide on earth?
Kind and merciful even though we are not worth,
HE loves his creation even they make wrong move,
Not to HIS expectation and conduct bad prove,

Life and death destined from day one,
Not a day more and not a less one,
Then how do we try and assume HIS role?
When life is like bubble then what can be goal?

No one is allowed to take away the life,
Not to cut throat with double edged knife,
You may resist attempt but still not threaten,
Always name on lips even bodily beaten,

Life is precious so need protection,
Hard, punitive and stringent steps for action,
But not beheading a person or put to death,
Such steps considered inhumane and against faith,

We may advocate person to be banished,
If not capital punishment but severely punished,
If life is taken away from him then he is finished,
Then role of creator is just completely diminished,

This is humble position but not to be demeaned,
It I shard to forget when murderer not condemned,
Perpetrators find heaven and arrange less fined,
Definition for crime needs more to be defined,

One more forces has emerged to halt human abuse,
Protection for human rights, even rules criminals refuse,
One innocent is spared at cost of hundred criminals,
Such is thought and well defined rationale,

Hanged to death punishment is rarest of rare,
None may resort to crime and not even dare,
It is not for the others not to rush and take care,
Criminals brought to book and innocents spare,

Human activists may raise hue and cry,
Even human bogey outrageously try,
Their roles not limited but yardstick must apply,
Ensure purpose not defeated when charges reply,

Heinous criminals, terrorists may pretend innocence,
Tutored and public opinion may crate nonsense,
Allegations and counter allegations defeat very essence,
Hold unto last amidst lies and truth absence

Terrorist Strikes!

Why fell the trees laden with fruits?
Why cut the saplings ‘fore they grow?
Why mow down fields ‘fore harvest-time?
Why bull-doze crowds in market-squares?
Why hold to ransom by-standers?
Why spray bullets on school-children?
Why slit the throats with arms, legs tied?
Why bomb worshipping places rife?
Why make widows and orphan souls?
Why kill yourselves and others too?

The world cannot remain mute spectator;
The world will go on;
The world must go on;
The world will go on, no matter
How terrorists strike.

A bunch of hoodlums,
A group of fanatics,
A ring of hard-core terrorists
And human beings with evil designs
Can’t be allowed to spread fear,
In Mankind’s Heart for long.

With cause unknown,
Methods unjust,
Ev’n God won’t help,
Nor rest of world
Ever give in!

No matter what they do,
All world affairs will continue;
With newer anti-terrorist resolve
And iron-fisted measures,
Steps will be taken to combat them.
The weed of terrorism
Will be unearthed by its roots entire
When the world’s nations unite-
By People’s Will.

How canst a few criminals
Meant for the Fire-pit,
Destroy the peace on earth?
Ev’n God does not love them,
For their hands and hearts are stained
By blood of innocent lives!

And what do terrorists seek?
- The blood and lives of the common man and the meek!
By acts of cowardice much,
They want ‘justice, love and human touch! ’
Oh, won’t their ruthlessness ever abate?
They maim the unarmed; slit the human throats like sheep!
Their murders most foul, unjustified,
And heinous crimes,
The world can’t forgive, forget.

Let ‘lions’ challenge other Lions
And not sheep!
The Good Shepherd is omnipresent
And watches ov’r his belov’d sheep,
With His staff!

Terrorists,
Your tribes will cease too soon;
The menace will forev’r be rid;
The world will be turned safe again!
The world will find a solution
That’s permanent.

Written in loving memory of all those killed
And wounded by terrorist attacks.

There’s Always a Dawn

There were spears
There were swords
Made for hunting
Not war
Yet with it, from the blood of the innocent will create a new dawn

But war came
Great battles and fights
Many dead
Few still alive
To face the never ending dawn

A new world made
By the people who were left
Conquerors and Defeated
United in one land
A new dawn created with the help of man

The one land changed
More wars began
Famine and disease
Grew a part of that
But the dawn still remained

It was after these wars that history began
Written by the victors about
The defeated
The damned
The dawn was never mentioned- forgotten

These people
The defeated left the land
In search for a new home
Away from the wars
Searching forever for a new dawn

Perhaps they were wise
To leave with such haste
For the empire they once knew
Began to break
The dawn now remembered- the people prayed

The empire broke
The great kingdom now gone
In its place a new world just like the dawn
Still life in the world went on and on
Yet the dawn was still worshiped- never forgotten

The years past
More wars began
Countries discovered
New weapons for man
The promise man made- left to die

Centuries turned
Discoveries made
Technology found
Diseases dead
Still on and on the dawn survives

But for every technology there’s always a weapon
For every discovery there’s always a second
With one disease dead more still arrive
And with every new day a new world is created
Though the dawn still remained

So the world keeps turning
In the dark and light
For every bad thing
There’s always a light
In the dawn

In war it is Peace
In death it is Life
In disease it is the Cures
In the world it is Hope
Disguised as the dawn

Hope keeps us going
Through the bad it is strength
To do what is right, To help the world
In the light it shines, shines for the future, a brighter day
A new dawn

The earth might be in darkness
With a shadow on its edge
Waiting to consume
Till the universe is dead
The dawn still remains

But still the world keeps turning
Like the never ending dawn
Time is forever
And the universe survives
Because of the dawn

It might seem the end
Of the world that we know
But at the end of a day
There’s always mans hope
There’s always a dawn

Does War Bring Peace

I had learned power increases, when we preserve,
But, I see each are showing their strength
I had learned powerful never shows it
But, I see each are showing their strength as exhibition.

I had asked once to my father why is power being used,
He replied me it’s for peace by the country to rebellion
I wondered how a peace is brought by guns
I thought peace is dropping of guns

Now, I have got new knowledge for peace
It’s the path of blood, which brings blood
And ends where only in saying, place is coming
But when will it come only the killers know

Yes, terrorism is about to end coz each human will be dead
Due to one determination of people that blood shed will bring peace to bed.

All ills

We had heard about racial discrimination and abuses
We were claiming tall but had to admit and could not refuse
The world is fast coming out of ethnic cleansing
How much more time we may need for real cleaning?

It ails society and countries on large scale
We have not come in terms and really failed
Our eyes still refuses to accept green
Before this such scenario never had been

Black and whites have fought for centuries and cursed
They wounds have been aggravated further and still not nurtured
Dark skin has some what not been hated most but the nations
Have remained at war for decades and strained the relations

What did the apartheid literally do other than to create hatred?
Where were the real feelings for country to stand united and lead?
Centuries of old relation evaporated in faction of seconds
Blood hungry rivals fought over for nothing but only diamonds

We have heard the poor being subjected to harassment and negligence
We too have come across the atrocities and rights violations
It has been tackled to large extent but this Oh God, terrorism
Really a dastardly act aimed at nothing but to malign the humanism

We have fought guerilla war and come across deadly organizations
Years of turmoil and blood bath have ruined us culture and institutions
We have nothing else left except to lick and nurture the wounds
Still that remains buried in mind and some traces are found

We are strongly divided over the issue of strong nationalism
It can have nothing to do with any kind of terrorism
The honorable ways are there open to wage the struggle
The innocent people can not taken as hostage and killed in jungles

It is possible strong armies may fail to curb such menace
The countries involved may stop the in flow of finance
The moral support is welcome in any form and appreciated
The terror and barbaric attacks for gaining freedom can not be equated

The world has witnessed the holocaust of atomic destruction
The world leaders are worried about capture of such weapons
What will be fate of entire world if that becomes tragedy?
Such elements must be rooted out as first steps of the remedy

Apartheid, color, cast and religion has not done much damage
Countries at war were persuaded and won over to manage
The next war may be deadly and even worst than ever expected
Why not we consider small part for all human lives to be respected?

Tolerance and Tradition

Whole of world seemed so small
Emperor Ashoka had met all the frontier calls
Enemy was reduced to nil and seen no where
He proudly thought' now no heads can dare'

But what did he hear on battle ground?
Calm and quiet situation with no sound
Slain soldiers and blood all around
No one to cry for them or to be found

'Such a human cost to claim victory'
Emperor thought and felt so much sorry
Thousands were lying dead and no one to claim
He felt regret and whispered 'i this the outcome of aim'?

Suddenly his heart ached for human being
Even though he was emperor and big kind
No neighbors can now raise head in rebellion
He was the sole head of entire region

'No, No, such should not be heavy price!
Why large number of innocents should be killed for one promise?
He wanted to rule entire world and claim as an emperor
But had no goal spreading in minds any kind of terror

He had no joy for tremendous victory
Entire world was at his feet but full of worry
Not a single man should now be killed
Only peace and not war should be called

He denounced world and accepted sainthood
Sent her daughter to spread the message in neighborhood
He thought 'World is so hollow and need human care and attention'
He went for Buddhism in search of human tolerance and tradition

It Is A Tragic Time We Live In

It is a tragic time we live in with the violence in the World of today
For God and for National fervour the price in death is huge to pay
Two wrongs never ever make a right or words to that effect the wise say
It did take more than one side without a doubt to start the war of us against they,
Our political leaders are our reflection mirror for our predicament we have ourselves to blame
By giving power to the fear and war mongers some seek glory in acts of shame
Patriotism and Religion have led to more deaths through violence than any other two things one could name
And human blood it is shed by the barrel for the power hungry in their lust for fame,
In a World of redneck racism the rose of peace is in decay
They cannot be brought back to life the dead people in their graves forever they lay
Billions are spent on the manufacturing of war weaponry whilst people of hunger are dying
For the making of deadly weapons of mass destruction the gift of life to others they are denying
And because of Racism, God and Patriotism millions are condemned to suffer and die
And war by the so called good waged on evil is such a despicable lie.

War and Peace

'There is in this world that eternal battle'
the General said
'between Good and Evil.

There can be no compromise;
each nation needs living space
and those who follow Evil
will not hesitate
to take yours
and that means,
some of the time,
War.

War is the ultimate expression
of Evil vs. Good
and inevitable.'

Peace spoke:
War is for those who profit from War
and every war ends in Peace
and diplomacy,
Why not skip the destruction and killing
save human lives
and go straight to the Peace?

Nation-State spoke:
Ah, you Peace forget War
is more than the interval between
the Peace
because War decides which people
will be free
and which people will be oppressed.
Peace you misunderstand;
soldiers fight to preserve their country-mens' lifestyles
their families
and those five dollar lattes.

Ah, indeed in War and Peace
someone wins
and someone loses' Nation-State said.

Peace spoke:
Well, Nation-State, that used to be true
but not anymore.
Nuclear holocaust has no winners,
only losers.

A radioactive planet
where no one can live
for a thousand years
is not victory
but massive defeat for everyone.
.
Nothing to celebrate.

You '
Peace said
to the General
'cannot fulfill your main mission
which is to protect the population.
The foe you fight can blow up
all of their nuclear weapons
and the fall out will drift and kill
the rest of us
without even an attack.

You soldiers have to learn new tricks.
You can't really protect us.

All that is gone. You have to retire that side-gun
and sit at the diplomat's table.

'Peace 'Peace said'
has come to depend upon successful social ecology
and restraining those who would have us kill ourselves
in order to preserve our lives.

Original Wrapper

The last shot should've killed me
Pour another drink
Let's drink to the last shot
And the blood on the dishes in the sink
Blood inside the coffee cup
Blood on the table top
When you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot
But when you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot
I shot blood at the fly on the wall
My heart almost stopped
Hardly there at all
I broke the mirror with my fall
With my fall - fall - fall
Fall - fall - fall
Gimme a double
Give yourself one too
Gimme a short beer
One for you too
And a toast to everything that doesn't move
That doesn't move
But when you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot
When you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot
Whiskey, bourbon, vodka and scotch
I don't care what it is you've got
I just want to know that it's my last shot
My last shot
I remember when I quit pretty good
See this here's where I chipped my tooth
I shot a vein in my neck and I coughed up a quaalude
On my last shot
My last shot
But when you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot
When you quit, you quit
But you always wish
You knew it was your last shot

No Man's Land

“No man’s land” I was intrigued and puzzled at this statement
Not an inch is left all over land including pavements
Not even impenetrable lands including poles
Even though they stand apart yet we found in some loop holes

For rich arguments sake, we can create some land
Where humans are not allowed to stay and land
As it exists in North Pole to carry out experiments
If same is followed else where can be seen as heavenly sent

Not a single stretch is left where we have not staked claim
Sky is fully covered with parking zones and slots
Each degree or angle is photographed and calibrated
Not a single inch of space is left alone or unrelated

We have fought enough on this holy land
Not we eye on distant objects with clear stand
At home level we have enough of misery and starvation
Yet it is considered as mile stone and matter of elation

It is good to explore and know the universal secrets
It is nice to share and made it known or other’s let
Yet it our first priority should be with humanity base
What ever may be the compelling reason or mad chase?

Let some areas remain unexplored even if we agree for some sake
We have enough to explore at and improve upon which is at stake
It won’t help if moon has water or mars had enough of air
The worst affected population must have chances very fair

We have failed to control floods and volcano eruption
The hazardous polluted measures and its disruptions
Why can’t we find alternate energy to prove much awaited relief?
Strengthen the cause for what we are and open a new leaf

We spend enormous amount on the unexplored mission
Find nothing in hand and suffer here with population explosion
Many die in starved state and land remain barren for the want of rain
Let us explore on this beautiful land try to relieve the agony and pain

We have no right to shed crocodile tears for human causes
Every time precious lives are lost with innumerable losses
We have nothing to offer them as alternatives to descent life
How long will we be playing unfair games with their neck on knife?

Good Wishes

I wish flowers to blossom in all the seasons
Why should they fade away without any reason?
From my deepest heart I wish happy to all persons
Grandpa, papa. Mummy and to the dearest son

Irrespective of age I wish happiness to all
Happy memories to end with bright future call
What else can we deliver on this auspicious day?
Brotherhood, peace, happiness and all that we can say

I sought some answers and wondered
Searched deeply and sincerely pondered
Am I doing real justice for what I say?
Will this lead to and show me correct way?

I wish to shed the tears for the soldier brothers
Laid lives for peace so that we need not bother
They were our own near and dear and no others
Their bodies we received wrapped in coffers

Salute to those who resisted repressive measures
Button charges, tear gas cells and no cheers
Brutality and kicks not for personal gain
Peaceful word at large was the worry main

I may be ungrateful if I fail to recognize
All heads of Governments who laboured hard to organize
World to be freed from the yoke of terrorism
Leaving no space ……………………..

Despite all I wish to celebrate for what we did?
Come out clean though many things failed to read
By gone to be remained by gone and new years to lead
Millions of hungry to be looked after and feed

Almighty may not have time to reach
How to spread HIS message and preach
You have spared us from all the agony
Provided comforts with sufficient money

May peace descend and make Christmas holy
Not a single soul is left behind and enjoyed wholly
Happy smiles with cheerful faces and greeting to all
Let us hug with purest heart with peaceful call

In Every Way!

how many people are blind?
how many people are deaf?
how many by choice?
perhaps you still have jobs,
homes, food to eat, medical care.
perhaps you have investments,
a way to retire....
perhaps your family is happy,
and well taken care of...
i hope so for you!

millions of people hurting,
millions in need...
millions of children hungry,
millions who cant get an education.
millions enslaved by poverty,
millions left alone....
people with faces and names.

all of these are normal people.
whatever their language, their religion,
their sexual orientation.
all of these are people just like you.
and many of these have families,
just like you!

is it their fault they're victims?
perhaps they've worked their whole lives.
male, female, young, old.....
all people,
with mothers and fathers....
all people....
and no, America is not free.

the news we watch is tainted.
the truth is hidden from us.
killing people around the world
does not make us free....
books are being banned and burned,
prejudice and discrimination are rampant.
we have forgotten we are responsible for each other,
we have forgotten we are all immigrants here.
there are no illegal people,
all people are just people.
freedom demands equality,
in every way!

Everything compromised

Not for any single system we feel proud
can’t claim high and speak so loud
what will we gain by making them unstable?
Would we able to bye peace and remain stable?

Untested weapons and weaponry freely used
Can’t be termed as genocide but in fact misused
Still we raise the banner of championship and advocate
Add fuel to fire, inflame and make atmosphere to suffocate

Have we gone berserk and totally unreasonable?
Do we want anarchy, misrule or feel incapable?
Edible oils adulterated with unhygienic fat and oil
Responsible people sit idle and don’t attempt to foil

Even milk is added with urea and powder
Everything moves on as usual and we wonder
Music is mixed with stolen themes and songs
Claim it as original with all lies and methods wrong

We clap over it as genuine one and appealing
Who knows what is secret behind concealing?
Political ideology is exported with terror
Millions die every year and live with horror

Can we protect globe by acting as policeman?
Remain as protector and still be called human
Nothing can prevent us from falling to trap
Promises are all hollow with nice words under wrap

Poverty is reality and still there to dominate
Humanity will survive and not terminate
Many may perish, languish and suffer the most
Values may erode but sentiments will suffer at any cost

We may tolerate everything at stretchable point
All efforts aimed at improvement with strategy to join
Will not allow any other things to succeed and prevail
it is not easy to resolve but move is likely to fail

How can be remain mere spectator is to seen?
World may not change with likely change in the scene
Nobody will budge from their stated position or stand?
This will increase number of foes but not friends

You will be called great. Mature and accommodating
At home your policies may not be validating
You got to compromise it for the national interest
Even if it is not serving the people best

Though time demands that we must compromise
It must make everybody happy and not surprise
It is our commitment to man kind with simple dedication
We must show our willingness as an indication

World may survive and last longer than expected
Many may create hurdles as has been suspected
We still have to go ahead and stop the proliferation
It is our destiny and that is only our obligation

Because Of Us

We will never defeat the terrorists with our oppressive laws
We will only defeat terrorism by fighting it's root cause
What are we doing one well might ask to alleviate poverty
In war torn and Third World Countries? not much if you ask me.

Because of us thousands of innocents in New York and Washington have died
And because of us so many dreams of life have been destroyed
And because of us in Afghanistan suffering and death dropped from the night sky
Those who say we are the good guys even believe their own lie.

And because of us in Iraq there is fear and death and pain
Far worse than the worst suffering inflicted on his people by the deposed despot Saddam Hussein
And since the Gulf war more than a million Iraqi citizens have met with a premature and tragic end
And why should they wish to believe us when we tell them we're their friend.

In a World where there is so much poverty terrorism will abound
For places of suffering and poverty are to the terrorists breeding ground
If we put as much effort into combating poverty as fighting terrorists then terrorism would subside
And people would live in harmony and peace would be Worldwide.

For the wars and deaths and suffering the terrorists we'll blame
But we ourselves not innocent we too play the dirty game
The game that causes grief and heartbreak they call it Us and They
But one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter at least that's what they say.

Because of us there are refugees and these poor people we demonize
And that they do not seem to like us comes to us as a surprise
And because of us and because of them there is only hell to pay
And that beautiful rose the Rose of Peace is withering to decay.

Not A New İdea

It is not a new idea or concept
It was most appreciated one and secretly kept
As a powerful weapon in the time of crisis
So much can be said and laid the emphasis

Not a one religion may say to be intolerant
From their teachings and verses it is apparent
No one has dared to violate it with adverse comment
It is considered as sin for later age to repent

Entire universe is created with divine consent
There may be many objects with different contents
Each with full promise of live and let others live
This is agreed upon and we all tend to believe

It is His world and we are just emissary
We all take complete care and consider it necessary
This gives rise to the principle of tolerance
For years together it has maintained its essence

Have we not seen the result intolerance?
Bloodbath all over with situation very tense
Human lives lost for no significant gain
All those precious years have gone into vain

God sent many prophets, messiahs and messengers
They presented smiling world with no anger
What did they want to see in troubled world?
Peace and harmony with love to be practiced and told

How much land can you control?
How much will it demand as toll?
Colossal waste with immense loss of human lives
Or no worthy place to be enjoyed and relived

We can’t shape entire globe as per our choice
How can as god’s children we can suppress the voice?
Let them live and shape their own life with destiny
How will it affect the culture and religions of many?

There is need for overhaul change in thoughts
The barbaric wars are unnecessarily fought
No one has gained from innocent’s blood
In both the ways they have to face death and starve for food

Kill, Kill and Kill

Kill, kill, and kill all those
Who are in this locality and dispose off
All their belongings and loot
The crowd from near by area had come on foot

We all were threatened and very much afraid
They had chosen night time for raid
We had everything here including beautiful home
It was doctor's house and named as always 'welcome'

Father was known figure and medical practitioner
He used to help down trodden and was good listener
He provided free medicines many times for the poor
Such was father known as will never show door

The crowd was carrying burning torches
They saw father at the door from distance of an inches
'Go back, go back' shouted the leader
This is home of our beloved doctor and savior

We were all moved by this kind gesture
We were shivering and taken over by fear
The riots had broken out over small matter
The loving people had turned arch haters

Father has served that locality since years
Inhabitants were poor and were hand to mouth earners
The doctor's fee was never a problem
People were served well and taken out of troubles

I remember him as her dear daughter
He was not a doctor alone but loving father
I used to shiver with little thought of that dead night
What could have happened to us if had not gone right

I decided to serve people from that day onward
I understood that peace was the only option to look forward
We are only human being and always subject to decay
Why propaganda and untruth should make us to be carried away?

Humanity has still not died away and rules supreme
Sometimes help come in unexpectedly in extreme situation
We all are children of same God and need protection
Why to shed blood in streets instead of improving the relation?

On Terrorists

Why kill the persons in the streets?
Why maim the innocent children?
Why bomb schools, temples and cities?
Why destroy lives and property?

Why make the world more insecure?
Why spread ‘fear psychosis’ ’midst men?
Why blame others for your own faults?
Why gain the curse fellowmen?

Why kidnap persons aimlessly?
Why ravish people senselessly?
Why murder people ruthlessly?
Why invite wrath of Almighty?

The brave fight soldiers uniformed;
The valiant harm not citizens;
Just cowards kill poor unarmed men;
Terrorists can’t get people’s love!

Life is most precious wealth on earth;
Revengeful hearts cannot find peace;
A few can’t hold rest to ransom;
‘To kill and be killed’ is insane!
