Ignore the waves that toss thy ship at sea;
The ship won't see the land if unlucky;

A victim of their own folly, they'll be.

As he raises his hand you being to understand
that no love is worth the hate that you feel.
Now you're running out of pain,
And all these feelings feel the same.
So you close your eyes and wish it all away.

My Lord Alone

It is The Lord and Him alone, behind how much I have grown,
Just how I've grown spiritually, since meeting God at Calvary,
Saving me, so spiritually lost, while the Lord paid all the cost,
Saving me from my life of sin, to gain a new life all from Him.

It was God, Who set me free, to put me on my way to eternity,
He had set me free in this life, to follow my Lord, Jesus Christ.
Indwelt with The Spirit of God, to guide me on this earthly sod,
Guided out of the spiritual night, to walk in His Truth and Light.

It is my Lord Who walks with me, while on an ordained destiny,
My destiny prescribed by Christ, Who is The Author of my life,
The Author and Sustainer of, my life, through His power above,
Sustaining me in times of trial, by His power, there is no denial.

It is The Lord, my dear friend, Who shall lead me up to the end,
And at every bend I'm assured, that I'm in the hand of my Lord,
Guided by His Love and Care, Christ goes with me everywhere,
Wherever I journey, I understand, I'm forever in my Lord's hand.

While I'm in God's hand forever, I'm without His presence never,
As Christ's Spirit helps me grow, in ways, that He's yet to show,
This as my God sustains my life, in this world of pain and strife,
As I journey towards Paradise, because The Lord paid the price.

Children Of The Heart

Have you ever left?
Your childhood alone
Have you ever let?
Your childhood dreams go

I've never really known
The joys a child should know
I've never really seen
What it's like to just being a child

But in each of us there lies
A child breaking to be free
To learn life's mysteries
In child like dream

To run with friends and family
Free just like a breeze
To play in the fields
Of a childhood memory's

What is it really like?
To be a warrior of old
What is it really like?
To be innocent in ones life
What is it really like?
To be a hero in a child's dream

I sigh and often dream
What it would be like to be free
Free of all your burdens
In a child's innocent world
Of dreams

Can you explain to me?
What the mystery a child hold's
Why do we crave
Our childhood of old

I smile and think often
Deep inside my soul
There will always be a child
Bursting forth to be free
Just wanting to let go

To fly into a world of fantasy's
And just being free

We are born to this fantasy
Cant believe what theyve done to you
Hard to see all these years go round
Taught to hide all thats true inside
What was it like
When you were a child?
Did you see the world
In a different light?
When the veil came down
Our destiny grew away from us

Now there is this day, a lot of things are changing
Can't just kick it away, got to get things right
Sometimes it happens fast and nothin' seems to last
The thing that I once started isn't mine anymore

The Innocence of Gold

I flicked of the TV
At a news report
About another child
Lost in innocence no more

I was once
An innocent child
Living so happy
Till I was dealt
One of life's blows
