Life's A Point of View
Life offers two poles - two roles.
One beginning, grinning, winning.
One refusing, abusing, losing.
Each looks through their scope
With hope that their vision is right.
A clear, focused lens views bright.
One closed results in failing sight.
Some are aware and don't care.
For most of the rest the test is too great.
But a rare few do know and dare.
To those must go unending praise,
For their days are each born anew.
Their genius? That right point of view!

Dear Mum...
We miss you very much and dad;
The thought of you both makes us sad;
The present days are truly bad;
We cannot do the things, you had.
The way things happen makes all mad;
Your love and care kept us so glad;
Those days were great when lass and lad;
Joy comes not from a money’s-wad.
Nevertheless, we must live on;
Less hope springs in hearts every morn;
More babies are unborn than born;
Almighty’s heart looks hurt and torn.
Rare is a good matrimony;
Bad things stem from excess money;
The mobile world appears funny;
Just prayers maintain harmony.
Less wealth had given immense joy;
Our words comfort not but annoy;
Childhood was good without a toy;
Oh, how I wish I were a boy!
God, give us strength of heart and will!
God ne’er forsake when we turn ill;
We pots of clay must always fill
With grace, until we reach God’s Hill!
So ‘Rest in peace, ’ ye mighty souls;
You did so well your earthly roles;
Your love had reached even the poles;
You gave us Christ and lovely goals!

No Point
J. spinks
This aint working out
Its not worth the time I spent on it
When Ive been next to you
Its not the way you want it
And all I wanna do
Is get away and as far away from it
Theres no point cos Im not winning
Theres no point going back to the beginning
Theres no point to keep on waiting
Theres no point in talking it over
Theres no point in getting any closer
If it was up to you
Wed go around in circles forever
Theres nothing left to do
I go around - around in you
Ive tried to see it through
All Ive seen is the stormy weather
Theres no point in still pretending
Theres no point cos this is never ending
Theres no point in keep on trying
Theres no point to carry on lying
Theres no point acting like children
Theres no point cos this time Im gone
Theres no point in talking it over
Theres no point in getting any close
Theres no point in still pretending
Theres no point cos this is never ending
Theres no point in keep on trying
Theres no point to carry on lying
Theres no point in talking it over
Theres no point in getting any closer
Theres no point cos Im not winning
Theres no point going back to the beginning
Theres no point in hesitating
Theres no point tonight
Theres no point at all

The Vision
getting ready to go to bed
a vision came into my head
the vision was quite blurry
so i tried to hurry.
fearful that i might fall
to my wife i did call
as she came running to me
the vision became clear as can be
it was the face of MOTHER MARY
telling me that her son was in pain
seeing all the suffering and all the shame.
the shame that mankinds faith is dwinderling.
and the economy is creating so many doubts
and now is the time to put the doubt out.
so he is coming to rekindle the faith
that seems to be lost
by opening their hearts to a new beginning.
and to show you that through him you are winning.
he has never given up on you
and that's what we should do.
and as this vision started to fade
in me- a new heart was made.
and now that he has rekindled my life
i'll go to bed with my wife
and sleep as comfortable as can be
for i know he's always with me.
i praise the LORD up above
for he has eternal love.
he will never let me down
for he has turned my life around.

Eternity - The Other Name of Life
A rotating wheel, in my view,
resembles the life eternal;
time is chameleon's changing hue-
green of grass or silvery dew,
controlling leaves of life's journal-
heavenly once, then infernal.
Like an epic, it's classical
with infinite chapters on war
amongst some genius and few numbskulls,
roles that we play-petite or vital,
are to be well performed, not to scar.
Life is but a lively memoir.
Playing once all predestined roles,
time has to stop one's wheel to rest
tribulations end, freed out souls
for new performers to enroll.
Life streams on with many ebbs and crests,
warm smile keeps winning o'er all unrests.
Our Earth revolves as life reveals
an age-old flow of renewal;
it's somewhat dream full of ordeals
with efforts on for us to feel -
deeds we leave on earth is crucial,
not to be casual, not to take as a deal.

_-Failing...Is Losing-_
Staying down is failing,
Failing is losing
Losing is a part of life…
But if there’s nothing else there
And you’re forced into despair
Why even try
When in the end we all die?
Why try to prove people wrong
When you know that there right,
Why try to stay in the battle
When you know you’ll lose the fight?
Why try to make a difference
Why even care,
When you’re left with only failure
And the sent of despair.

A New Life (Heaven Sent)
A new life; new surroundings in a new place,
These are the circumstances that you face
When you search for yourself and a new beginning;
You never quite know if you are losing or winning;
The battle wages within, to define yourself anew;
Everything seems to unfold so slowly before you
That you begin to wonder if time itself has slowed
To a point where you no longer dwell in the abode
Of the spatial and the temporal-both are altered;
You play back in your mind any area in which you may have faltered-
But still, there is nothing-you are left wondering still-
Where is the life of wonder, when will my dreams fulfill! ?
When it is least expected, this is when it will present-
You will not know from whence it came, only that it is Heaven sent!

View
A man,
More rare than fine gold;
Mankind,
More scarce than the pure gold of Ophir;
But when will this great tribulation start?
Formed from the womb and killed to be buried in the tomb,
But those days should be shortened for us to gain the end.
Open the Book and see the light,
Enslaved for 400 years! !
Like a kingdom which is shaken all around.
Humility,
Of our sins of the past to make change for the better;
Like Aids(1981) and HIV catching up to the human race.
Oh, how my mind rests on the mountain of Olives;
And like the days of Noah,
A reed like a measuring rod is needed for survival.
Land, water, air!
The warning labels to us all to learn like a student;
But hidden from the view of many without hope.
This point of view is desirable for food,
This act of love id hidden from a view,
But around the great river Euphrates came the war!

Turlough Carolan
He was blind and illiterate that much of him we know
And still his music is with us from centuries ago
He had creative genius and his genius still shine through
A rare gem Turlough Carolan one of the chosen few.
The harper of the county Meath in music live today
His music known around the World in Countries far away
And Carolan's concerto still very much alive
The only test of genius is when their work survive.
The only test of genius is when their work live on
For centuries and centuries when they are dead and gone
And Carolan has passed that test a name to celebrate
His music live three hundred years the genius of the great.
A son of peasant parents and destined to be poor
And though addicted to alcohol his genius remained pure
I like that saying it says it all 'can't keep a good man down'
And the name of Turlough Carolan was destined for renown.
I just switched on the radio to hear the D.J. say
This is a tune from Ireland from Ireland far away
Carolan's farewell to music, oh let the music play
The music of the harper the harper lives today.

Thanks And Praise
We lift to God thanks and praise, for His care over all our days,
Even when the times get tough, God surrounds us, in His Love,
Love that’s of an eternal scope, which gives to us eternal hope,
The hope one finds in Jesus Christ, as we walk through this life.
All our praise is due to Him, Who not only saved us from all sin,
But, our Lord God imputed to us, Jesus Christ’s Righteousness,
A righteousness not of our own, for it was sent from His Throne,
Where we are seated with Christ, Hope we have, while in this life.
Here He sustains us in His Love, which comes down from above,
While God’s Everlasting Arms, protects us from all undue harms,
Providing us with comfort too, comforts which each day are new,
For God’s compassion never fails, while in our life, God prevails.
His Love is beyond our reason, and for all time not just a season,
As God’s Love is eternal friend, and such a love will have no end,
A love that begins upon this earth, and long before our New Birth,
Being created in the image of, the One who saved us by His love.
That love and much, much more, is what Believers thank God for,
And while His Love helps us cope, we have in God a larger Hope,
A hope that is beyond this place, hope granted to us all by grace,
Our hope of New Life, eternally, that only those in Christ shall see.

Old Madge
Old Madge who is in her late eighties is suffering from failing sight
But her memory it is flawless and she remains lucid and bright
She has vivid memories of her childhood which she feels happy to recall
I've had a good life she will tell you but my childhood years were best of all,
Her two great grand daughters are in their mid teens she says them I often do see
They are kind and lovely young ladies they always have been good to me
Her husband Tom died ten years ago they were married for fifty years
His end it was so slow and painful and memories of him still move her to tears
But she has got on with living life she says we cannot dwell in the past
The present is all that does matter though nothing in life seems to last
She surely is an inspiration the Madges of this World are rare
And though her sight it is slowly fading she is one unburdened by care
She always is happy and cheerful and she looks younger than her age
And from her life experiences she has learned much she surely is a female sage.

Traffic Jam: The Trap Of Traffic Light
It's not only test your luck, but also test your patience
It's not only test your guts, but also test your instinct
It's not only test your sanity, but also test your obedience to law
It's not only test your ethics, but also test your fidelity
It's not only test your sight, but also test your reflex
It's not only test your estimation of time, but also test your street knowledge
It's not only test your ego, but also test your kindness
It's not only test your control, but also test your awareness
It's not only test your attitude, but also test your responsibility
It's not only test your priority, but also test your humanity

Taste the Difference I - 0874 - Acrostic Sonnet
Two strangers may in orbit spin
Around each other for a while,
Similarities in style
Taste, touch, test until some pin
Explodes the bubble vision in
Too much wanting or denial.
Heart can with a winning smile
Extend hope's scope and thus begin
Dream themes to weave, while out and in
Ideas, emotions, reconcile
Fire, Earth, Air, Water, trust and guile,
Free spirits to affection's gin.
ERE New Year knocks perhaps we'll find
CElebration duly signed.

Puzzled
Today - We went out together again.
Delights of the week.
Are these times few.
Which you share with me anew.
Rare, like diamonds.
Are the occasions.
When we meet and talk.
My sweet friend.
But these moments I cherish.
Deep within my heart.
These jewels of time.
Well spent.
For each moment of being with you.
Gives me strength.
Comfort and happiness.
To face - Yet another day.
Of loneliness.
Uncertainty and doubt.
We are just friends, I know.
Perhaps there is no other way.
This I accept.
Although it bothers me.
For I care for you.
More than I dare to admit.
As I fear.
Of losing you.
Your company.
Friendship and charm.
Because I know.
That my love for you.
Will last.
Now and into the future.
So I decided to endure.
To cope, enjoy.
The time you spend.
With me and hope.
For a chance, to see you once again.
Tomorrow, possibly weeks from now.
It matters not.
When, where or how.
To me.
As long, as I know.
That it'll come to be.
Someday, somehow - Happiness.
Care and joy, for a moment to pass.
An illusion.
Not meant to last...

No Time To Worry
Now isn’t the time at all to worry, for The Lord is in no hurry,
To achieve all that must be done, for The Glory of His Son;
God knows just what I need, and God’s Truths I must heed,
He’ll accomplish His will for me, so the eyes of all may see.
I must not be impatient at all, for what appears big is small,
For God’s ways are not mine, and all is done in God’s time;
All my needs are not ignored, to be addressed by my Lord,
In His promises I can rest, as He leads me through this test.
While this may be a test of faith, God grants me His Grace,
To see me through to the end, even upon the darkest bend;
The end He knew at the start, from my side He won’t depart,
So I will follow the Spirit’s lead, as God handles every need.
Only The Lord knows the way, that He’ll lead me day to day,
And I’m always in His sight, even as I rest through the night;
Then in the morning as I rise, He lifts my heart to new highs,
As He leads me all my days; filling my heart with His Praise.
So worry simply has no place, as He fills my life with Grace,
Handling all my needs and cares, every day in all my affairs;
So unwavering faith is a must, while in God, I place my trust,
Who planned my life eternally, can care for any earthly need.

Opportunities In Chaos
It's amazing
What chaos can do
What could have been done
To hurt you
Utterly destroy you
Somehow results as
Motivation to
Promote you
To do the very things
You werent aware
You could actually do
So be encouraged in tough times
As you maintain status
Restoring the person
On the inside
While keeping views
your clear

The Chimney
this morning...this morning..this morning
the chimney of the desolate house in front of mine
is smoking...smoking...smoking
what a lovely sight
who may be there
on the snow
white smoke onthe white snow
the bare plum tree is
grinning...grinning..grinning
the black crow
on the hazel nut tree
crowing...crowing...crowing
as if life is newly beginning...beginning...beginning
guess..who is there...who is there
behind the yellow lignt seen at night
shining from the desolate window
someone...someone....someone
living. ..emerging from the house
ı wish all the chimneys of the lonely poor smoked
in the wilderness of the cold..cold of the snow
what a happy and a lovely sight
the desolate chimney is smoking...smoking...smoking
ı wish ı were in this old house too
with the mystery of the ancients
where they have come
ı never knew
the desolate house is reviving this morn
ı only see the shadows
growing...growing....growing..and moving

Angel of love, trust and care...
When all of life seems less shiny and new,
When the passion of life has lost it's hue.
When honour, trust and honesty have become so rare,
We must value true beauty like love, respect and care...
When all of these traits reside in one place,
A smile shall live upon mother natures face.
From the beginning of time this truth she knew,
Love and care shall paint for us landscapes anew...
For none but the giver of all this life,
Can end our pain and ease our strife.
And the tears of love and life she shall share,
For she is the angel of love, trust and care...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Simplify
In this computer complicated, overrated material world I ask, “Why? ”
Why is there no time or reason to take hold of life and simplify?
Governments are so confusing that the people they are abusing
Have no way to understand to what degree they suffer from each lie.
Their hope, their only hope is to simply simplify.
A child’s life is simple and pure.
It learns when rights and wrongs occur.
Then its vision becomes confusing when it observes a world refusing
To simplify its ways; in fact it’s now a spurious maze
Where rich leave poor careening; wars have no meaning,
And man has left the elements teaming.
Though there is hope as the years rush by
Just take hold of life and simplify.
Instead of the implications of money, power and fame,
Let love’s admirations simplify your game.
Then no doubt you’ll change all the while
And happiness will rediscover that long lost smile.

Visibility
Because my eyes were none to bright
Strong spectacles I bought,
And lo! there sprang into my sight
A life beyond my thought:
A world of wonder and delight
My magic lenses brought.
Aye, sudden leaping in my sight
The far became the near;
Life unbelievably was bright,
And vividly was clear.
My heart was lifted with delight,
Then--then I shrank in fear.
For faces I had thought were gay
I saw were lined with care,
While strange corruption and decay
Surprised me everywhere:
Dismayed I put my specs away,--
Such truth I could not bear.
And now I do not want to see
With clarity of view;
For while there's heaven hell may be
More tragically true:
Though dim may be Reality,
Sheer love shines through.
