High Sierras

Marauding mountains meander mysteriously
Piercing the sky as far as I can see.
A chorus of nature’s hypnotic silence speaks volumes to me.
These gentle monsters so majestic and high

Send soothing messages when their breezes sigh.
At times as I gaze I can’t help but wonder
If they are from an almighty artist or just nature’s blunder.
Then I realize they have been designed by an infinite hand
Far beyond the scope of anything I understand.

Mountains

Gazing at mountains
I can’t help but wonder…
Are they of heaven's artist
Or just nature’s blunder?

They rupture earth
While piercing sky.
As breezes whistle
Through their peaks
I can hear them sigh.

These gentle monsters
No doubt are designed
To engender peace
And magnificence
For all mankind.

Your Relationship With Nature

Your relationship with Nature speaks volumes about you
Do you only see Nature as a means to financial gain or are you one of those who
Love Nature for her beauty and love her wildlife and her trees
And her rivers, lakes and mountains and her fields and flowers and bees?

Your relationship with Nature tells of the sort of person that you are
Do you see Nature's protectors as those who have gone too far
In their dispute with the developer in their fight for every tree
If this be so you support the environmental vandals or so 'twould seem to me?

Your relationship with Nature about you more can say
Than all of your friends and enemies can or so 'twould seem that way
For your apathy to Nature tells of your inner strife
And your attitude to Nature is your attitude to life.

Your relationship with Nature says far more about you
Than anyone else of you can say as their words may not be true
For if you love Mother Nature and with her live in harmony
Then you are working for the good of all of humanity.

As I ventured to the Wood

As I ventured to the wood,
I stopped to draw on dewy air; let
Droplets shimmer in my hair, that
Rested on my tranquil head – as
In a sense of cosy bed.

As I ventured to the wood,
A gesturing cuckoo perched above,
And then in song with cooing dove,
‘You're welcome’, bade he, ’Enter please
To roam our land with gentle breeze.’

As I ventured to the wood,
A fallow deer of limpid eye
Gave care to glance at lucky I.
The heavenly aura 'bout her glow had
Charmed me, like a fine Bordeaux.

As I ventured to the wood,
A dazzling flower waved her face
In blazing show of dance and chase, and
Reddened bright in shade of dawn, she
Flirted like a prancing fawn.

As I ventured to the wood,
A butterfly had graced my arm,
And knowing I bid him no harm, he
Splayed for me hypnotic wing in
Colours for to urge me sing!

As I ventured to the wood,
The radiant sun shone down on me.
He flushed and beamed ‘I say to thee,
You bless your land; be filled with pride, and
Cherish e’er yon countryside! ’

Mist Upon the Placid Morn

Bleed out your beauty, Autumn –
Give up a gentle wrist, and smear
Your bloody hues atop the green.

Cast a calming throw of heady peace
Upon the cooling land.
And as you grant the sun a final fling of warmth,
Charge the silent air
(Now lolling on a foliar deathbed)
With earthen whiff to intimate the fungal push.

Soon you’ll send a shiver down the watery spine of
Quivering ponds, punctual brooks, and
Listless lakes, to warn them of the freeze to come.

Behold! your mellow spirit
Hanging as a mist upon the placid morn –
A sight that draws a sneaking tear or two – forlorn
Observers are we all of colder climes to view!

Autumn Lady, must you be the summer waning –?
Our adieu to fairer-weather life?
Ah well, at least you hum a warming tone, ensuring
Nature’s rhythm still abounds.

But now you must prepare the mind for chilly times –
You know the drill –
Guiding us along a sloping path
To ease our psyche in to sleet and snow –
The blue-ice bite of winter.

Zen

i take to call him zen
i talk talk to zen like
to all the nature around me
zen can you talk back to me
there is a pause and i say
zen can you talk back to me
silence like the silence of nature
are you dead or alive?
i am such a bewildered dweller
i talk to zen like i do to
all the nature around me
nature do you have a mouth
talk back to me
silence
then this tranquil feel
this feel of zen reacting to all nature, to me
but no talk, just silence
then i say zen
well if you let me do all the talking?
zen zen zen i know you will one day
be more cruel, do the leaving,
not a sigh, not a word
so why dont you talk to me now?
i talk to nature hoping it will talk back to me
but like zen, it is all quiet, silence
i even pull his leg, i say zen you have
sprouted a mole, a wrinkle, a line here and there
and i say you are smart and i suddenly
feel a contentment manoevres him a little
but then i ask again, and again
zen is it my own ego boiling over?
zen, zen please tell me
till then you may stay the way you are

Alone, I Am

Alone, I seem not, though I am
Alone, I must travel the unfocused future
Although at times I may travel with a companion
Nevertheless, none are close enough to know my true nature
At times throughout the winding path, I have become acquainted with a compassionate soul
Though in the end, they also desert me, unable to understand my true nature
At the present, I was near to a potential companion
However, I now feel him drifting from me
As the waning of the moon, playing with the tides of my emotions
I shudder to realize, that I dared to hope, for the perfect, most angelic soul
One who can understand my hopes, my fears, my dreams, my past
In essence, my true nature
But then I finally have come to realize
That Alone, I must travel the unfocused future
Alone, I seem not, though I am.

O Kid, What You Meditate Upon?

O Just born infant kid,
why you sleep all the time,
Not opening your eyes,
what you meditate upon?

You just not know were you are,
This world may change you,
Do you think how can you change the world,
Do you think what is around?
Do you know who brought you?

what is that you meditate on,
You are that,
yet ready to fall into MAYA,
And that you brought with your
own karma and samskaras, Egoless state is beautiful,
Not with ignorance,
But with all knowledge,
Crossing the ocean from this
shore of ignorance to other shore
of knowledge, Both shores, the ocean and boat
all being you!

Listen this kid,
Self is that which,
is beyond every form of energy,
Yet is the infinite source of all,
Beyond the stage on which every
perform its show,
There is the neutral enjoyer, Who is dreaming these world, Earth is that fertile womb,
Where this self entered with
desires,
Desire to know the nature!
Just as one wants to love another
to understand more, Or to have one to understand! Only way out is understand the
nature,
And understand your own
nature,
Let nature go in its own way,
let nature leave you to live in your own way,
For that understand what is Self,
Whether nature and self are one,
Or different from one another?
Without Self or nature no one can
be there, If someone is there,
He is that Truth which can't see
and understand Himself!

You came here to conquer,
Not anything, only to conquer
your own nature, Your own idiocy and foolishness!

Nature's Gifts

Nature!

Nature! !

Nature I love you! ! !
With all my heart, with all my being...
You are so kind and always to me
Oh! Nature, how ungrateful I will be if no thanks to thee?
The air I breathe for free,
The plants which I uses to survived...
The rays of sunshines on my face!
The moonlightening my night
The stars sparkling radiances on me
And the cool gentle breezes of night...
All for me from you, you...
Oh! Nature, your so kind
I can't forget the colourful view of the riverside
The view of passions flowers so colourful and nice to behold
The whirlwind blew passions in me...
You made earth so cool and gentle that I felt to walked on bared-foot..
All these for me from you
Oh! Nature, your so kind
You made night just keep me rested and warmth
And my day to make me appreciate you..
Nature you are so kind
Nature you are so kind
Nature you made my world!
Should I forget the rain?
Your blessings falling from above!
Should I forget you and your kindness to me..?
Should I, I said no....

Don't You Realize

Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Verse 1:
Baby don't tell me we'll stay friends
Love never gets a second chance
Split hearts never mend
Don't call again
Baby don't send me "come back"-mails
I'm so fed up with fairy tales
The message is clear
Keep outta here...
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Verse 2:
Baby don't sell me dreams again
Cos I'm so sick of all of them
I've learned the hard way
They won't come true
Baby don't say you've changed your mind
Cos I've left everything behind
That made me love you
Baby I'm through
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Tell me why you tried to cheat
Now you're in a dead end street
Baby you can never beat
You fate - tonight
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize

Sonnet- Nature's The Child Of God

What grandeur creation has given Man,
And Mother Nature's marvellous secrets?
Her immense beauty describe, which Man can?
Of flora, fauna, water, sky, Sun-sets.

The Firmament's the handiwork of God,
And speaks volumes about the Creator;
The splendor of Heaven knows just the Lord,
And proves the love and pow'r of the mentor.

Why evil thoughts engenders man 'gainst God?
And misdeeds too, He does 'gainst Conscience;
Most merciful and loving is our Lord;
Yet, Man destroys Nature using his Science.
Which Mother kills her child, she loves by heart?
Which artist will destroy his labored art?

Nature Paints

Nature Paints

Nature paints the sky in blue,
Then adds the fluffy spots of white
Which sometimes hide the fuel
Of fiery sphere - light
A relief that gives a gracious smile

Nature paints the high mountains green
An emerald of an incline climb
Extending stairway to heavenly dreams,
The peak is in a target's reach

Our nature paints the dark stained soil
A symbol for our hard day's toil
What in its core does treasure hides?
Seek the rainbow you will find
All colors that our artist binds

A sound of silence

A sound of silence
~
Silence that distant sound
Speaks volumes of variety
One mans peace another’s fear
Between the words unsaid
And those wanted to be spoken
The holding presence silence brings
A time of reflection is found
To rest upon a thought content
Or contend with a growing fear
A paranoid mind suffers silence
Broods its every moment
Where the calm is at peace
Embracing fully everything
Silence that distant sound
Speaks volumes of variety

In That Goleden Evening

In that golden evening,
and in this magnetic night,
what did you give me,
was full of hypnotic light.
The moon with her golden boat,
came down, down, down to earth.
Nature with her never ending
cascade chuckled with mirth.
We were set on fire, though
we couldn't touch each other.
As you were in Mars and I,
was on the lap of nature mother!
You kissed me with your ray
of soothing lustful desire,
Me? soaked with moonlight,
drank the kiss with ardent dire!

Thirteen Lines

A brain peered through stoic eyes;
Yet all it saw was rendered into
Flawed interpretation –
No honoured contemplation of a
Gluon, muon, quark of any flavour;
Nor a vision or conception of its world
Within a universe anthropic in its physical laws,
Inside a boundless multiverse.
All it gleaned and modelled
Bore parochialism well beyond belief! –
Delusional perhaps.
Survival only matters here on planet Earth –
Evolution saw to that.

Nature Of The Beast

Verse 1
Like a razor
Ive been livin on the edge
Am I losing control
Ive been pushed above
The point of no return
Under pressure I fell
Release 1
My will is bending
Like steel
This talk of danger
Is real
Chorus
Its not my nature
To be sweet anymore
Its just the nature
Of the beast at your door
Its human nature
In the animal world
(its human nature)
(its human nature)
Verse 2
I am not responsible
For things I cant explain
You know the night is like a zoo
In the jungle
With your back against the wall
Your love is precious to you
Release 2
The fever burnin through me
You free the spirit in me
Chorus
Break

Sounds of Silence

Nature’s greatest gifts attacked by disquieted nations,
Leaving nothing in place but mechanical reverberations.
Melodies of the woods serenading shooting stars
Surrender to hammers pounding and boisterous cars.

Silence, soothing silence, you have spoken a world to me.
A partner with whisperings always meant to set me free.
Now a threatened companion once always at my side;
When juxtaposed with greed I often ignored your guide.

Silence, I beseech you, use tones soft, but clear
So no matter where I am, I’ll know you can be near.
At times when myriad noises distract or voices demur,
Hypnotize me into your world where all thought is pure.

Silence oh silence; I need you more each and every day.
Clear my mind; destroy that grind with your gentle way.
Silence my silence; I promise to hear your every word.
Give me peace and help me cease to value the absurd.

Gaia’s Plan

Please, don’t sweep the leaves away –
Their essence gives to life’s decay.

Never hack the flowers down –
Their colours bless the laughing clown.

Now why the mowing of the lawn?
The severed grass will lie forlorn.

Let our flora live undressed,
Or under Man, will toil repressed!

I, the tree of standing still –
Erect and proud, and stout of will,
Aglow with motley bark of earth –
Advance my roots for all they’re worth,
Internalising Nature’s bowels
To snag the devil, tweak his jowls
And pull his hairs from whence they grow!
I’ll destroy his pagan show
Of Homo sapiens’ disrespect!

The humble ape must reconnect
With Gaia’s plan!

Their Accusations Made

Help me understand this.
They are angered by the messengers,
Who delivered messages they did not heed?
I realize to them this makes sense.
However...
In the real world,
In which most of us make attempts to live in...
Their accusations made,
Are as pointless as blaming the actions of Mother Nature...
On the current President.

Human Nature (feat. Claudette Ortiz)

[Verse 1:]
Looking out
Across the night-time
The city winks a sleepless eye
Hear her voice
Shake my window
Sweet seducing sighs
[Verse 2:]
Get me out
Into the night-time
Four walls won't hold me tonight
If this town
Is just an apple
Then let me take a bite
[Chorus:]
If they say
Why, why, tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say
Why, why, just tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
[Verse 3:]
Reaching out
To touch a stranger
Electric eyes are ev'rywhere
See that girl
She knows I'm watching
She likes the way I stare
[Chorus:]
If they say
Why, why, tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say
Why, why, just tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
I like livin' this way
I like lovin' this way
[Verse 4:]
Looking out
Across the morning
The city's heart begins to beat
Reaching out
I touch her shoulder
I'm dreaming of the street
[Chorus:]
If they say
Why, why, tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say
Why, why, tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
[Chorus:]
