Solid Sense of Solitude
'in order for me to truly help
I must leave you here alone to find yourself'
-sometimes even the most loyal of company
provides but a false shield of security

A Vow
Vow now to
stop pointing out
every self-apparent flaw
invest no further believe
in the cynics faith
its in your power to escape
the cursed-self-inflicted-fate
can never count out life
only lose life
counting down death
see that societal contempt
only serves to mutate
abject self-destruction
further proliferates
deconstructive hate
keeping tally of the negative
causes everyone to lose
competition provides
the upper hand to no one
- its sad
how quick we often adapt
to the devil's of self destructive
pseudo personal philosophy
let us never again make the mistake
of measuring wealth outside of
our inherent-selves
looking only for what the world can offer
us for our efforts
waking to realize what our efforts
have to offer the world
to be prudent in production
yet remaining
spontaneous in song
stop saying
were doomed to
become our parents
realize we are the proud
life preservers
of the human pond
look to the past for guidance
lead ourselves from the present
moving forward
inspiring generations to come
Society's ceiling is
caving in, let us redefine
our concept of growth
before its too late
economic collapse
need not mark
humanity's downfall
applied patience will
announce the proper
placement of all
believe is cultivated
never borne of thin air
'now in order for me to truly help
I must leave you here alone to find yourself'
-sometimes even the most loyal of company
provides but a false shield of security

Self Security Is What
That doubt is cut…
And a pond is just that…
Because of the Lotus…
Self security is what…
A heart beat which is…
Complete for love is there…
And after the rain…
The dew glistens under the sun-light…
The night is full of stars…
And without…there is no night…
Darkness, a deep hole within ones…
SOUL…
Lessening the smile upon a face…
Self security is what…
A lover returning real love…
For it is shared…
Security should not be false…
Do all is lost…
Love, Self-respect, and growth…
If when you look at self…
And cannot feel security…
You suffer internally…
Self security is what…
(-An expiration date not …
Forwarded…
A step not stepped…
A love not reflecting…
A heart not properly…
Beating…
Family members not coming by…
Self security is what…
Snow, with all the same flakes…
Twins, that look nothing alike…
A shoe that does not fit…
And a seat in which one cannot…
Sit…
So inside you cry…
And with every breath you die…
(Self security) …(self)
And your wings let you…FLY.

Shield Of Abraham
(kinky friedman)
Jacob climbed the ladder, climbed it to the sky,
Said, people, whats the matter ?
Heaven aint so high,
People, heaven aint so high,
When you got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
Little children.
You got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
The years were lights they wandered in the desert 40 years
And ol moses told the children
brush away them tears,
Hey, kids, this aint no time for tears.
Children
You got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
Little children.
You got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
David, he fought goliath with nothing but a tiny stone.
David, little david, God knows youre not alone,
God knows youre not alone.
David, you got the shield,
Youve got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
Little david.
You got the shield,
You got the shield,
You got the shield of abraham.
Rock and roll redeemer, oh people, hear my song,
And let the music keep us loving, let the spirit keep us strong,
Let your sweet love keep us strong.
cause weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield of abraham.
Little children.
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield of abraham.
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield of abraham.
Little children.
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield,
Weve got the shield ...

The fact that the price of gasoline has declined some in recent weeks must not allow Americans to be lulled into a false sense of security. Energy independence must rank along with border security as the top priorities of the United States.

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

President Roosevelt, the author of Social Security, was the first to suggest that, in order to provide for the country's retirement needs, Social Security would need to be supplemented by personal savings accounts.

President Putin and the Russian security services operate like a Super PAC. They deploy millions of dollars to weaponize our own political opposition research and false narratives. When we are consumed by partisan rancor, we cannot combat these external forces as they seek to divide us against each another, degrade our institutions, and destroy the faith of the American people in our democracy. I respect the work that this Congress does in carrying out its constitutional responsibilities, including in this inquiry, and I am here to help you to the best of my ability. If the President, or anyone else, impedes or subverts the national security of the United States in order to further domestic political or personal interests, that is more than worthy of your attention. But we must not let domestic politics stop us from defending ourselves against the foreign powers who truly wish us harm.

In order to fix Social Security, we must restructure it so that we continue to provide for our Nation's seniors that are approaching retirement age, but allow for younger taxpayers to invest a portion of their Social Security taxes in private accounts.

After they killed Uday and Qusay, the focus centered on Saddam: Find him, kill him, capture him, whatever it takes. To me, it was a false sense of security: If we get Saddam, we're going to win this war.

Insecurity
We walk a tightrope most of our life
very much afraid of the fall.
We step carefully one foot after the other
and are not sure-footed at all.
We're afraid to look down
And we fear the height
One false move and our security
fades quickly from our sight.
Insecurity builds up in our mind
and starts its dangerous attack.
We become afraid of what we must face
and know we can't turn back.
Some can overcome this situation
And leave the tightrope behind.
But most will walk that tightrope
And what is it they will find?
Insecurity.

Order is the sanity of the mind, the health of the body, the peace of the city, the security of the state. Like beams in a house or bones to a body, so is order to all things.

Nature, Trust, beauty and Affection
Give me Nature, my dog,
My parrokeets…
For company as I grow older
And more feeble
For I find their company
much more pleasant to keep
Far more preferable than
The company of people

Œnone's Complaint
Melpomene, the muse of tragic songs,
With mournful tunes, in stole of dismal hue,
Assist a silly nymph to wail her woe,
And leave thy lusty company behind.
Thou luckless wreath! becomes not me to wear
The poplar tree for triumph of my love:
Then as my joy, my pride of love, is left,
Be thou unclothed of thy lovely green;
And in thy leaves my fortune written be,
And them some gentle wind let blow abroad,
That all the world may see how false of love
False Paris hath to his Œnone been.

The Company You Keep
Yes, youre known by the company you keep
You say youre doin nothing wrong
I dont believe you are
Im only trying to help you sis
Before you go too far
Cause I think youre an angel
But folks think that youre cheap
Cause youre known by the company you keep
Please listen to your big sister
I feel I know whats best for you
I feel that I must warn you sis
Thats the least that I could do
Im not accusing you of anything
I know its fun you see
But youre known by the company you keep
The company you keep keeps you out too long
Mom and dad dont go to sleep until you get home
Sis, youre gettin in too deep
Youd better look before you leave
Cause youre known by the company you keep
Sis, youre gettin in too deep
The road of life is steep
And youre known by the company you keep
