condensed into a single word
in which we all take equal
intimate participation...
How long spent searching the
black depths of night,
studying the footprints of alien shadows,
before we come to understand the
destined path of the surrounding darkness
its power and its pull?
Perhaps entropy is the universe
mirroring the mind's manic disorder
maybe dark matter seeps from
the black holes of memory
say matter, whats the matter?
did you forget your place in space?
or is it another matter altogether
to which there are dimensions i cannot relate?
Upon death's bloom
what of mind remains
what answers await
as we're recycled back into
the ether's womb?

The night is silent,
I'm in the middle,
what a deafening sound
the darkness is comforting
