Following Rails
I recall my lives extending to bounds
in repleted white-blue to hang light;
and then to follow rivulets of insight,
of a brass horn, to upload sounds.
I salute them then, and they respond;
fine to accompany my climb to heights;
there my lives visit stars in flights,
and glances are reflected in a pond.
I recall her stare, following the rails
with roses on lips that wished well;
benevolent phrases, among vines dwell,
but expend as solitude to sorrow fails.
I kiss her stare in dimensions humble,
in dusk she gleams and nightly shines;
the hopes of my inspirations, decline,
when sun rays illumine them ample.

Visual Point Of View
Who lives across the ocean?
Who lives across the sea?
Is it someone who's wondering
just like me?
I stare across these waters.
I stare but cannot see
if there's anyone that's staring
I wish that they would be
someone I could talk with
about the deep blue sea,
And see if it's any different
from what it is I see.
I focus on the horizon
but there my vision ends.
Beyond this point of seeing
my imagination bends.
For I'm not the other side
looking across this way.
And that someone I am thinking about
sees night while I see day.

No Incentive To Vote Aug 12th,2012
And those in power can stay there for the rest of their lives,
Though it may be questionable whether democracy survives,
So a compulsory voting law or fifty dollar fine at income tax time,
Would solve the problem as the number of voters will climb.
Those who have been elected are not keen on mandatory votes,
It could change things and interfere with what the party promotes,
People might want binding referendums and recall and what next?
Best to do nothing or say it's constitutional and too complex.
Canadian politicians like all politicians dread recall,
Whether it's federal, provincial or even city hall,
So how do we get rid of a dreadful useless politician?
Could we get recall in the constitution in the next edition?

Eighth of May
Of windy spaces ancestry, form resurrected
in colors of that prime spring, response kind to me
because of me, adoring feast, befell, you felt it
of islands shore foam whiffs, Olympian offspring.
First I was, a celebration visitor, my vows redeemed
glances that searched for you, of our oceans offer
I stayed there, crowned of hymns, blue roses breed
as you descended, of dreams wind, another present.
A distribution of windy forms, upon my souls nod
a visitor of solitude, deities, Eighth of May reign
to be a companion of dew drops, of mornings mode
to see you as my falling drops, of a colossal rain.
Rain drops convene for me, embrace this proposal
your hands upon your facial, for me they wander,
when you recall all of this dusk, our line coastal
for every May of the eighths, your staring to offer.
May you face me of else, the eighth of my winds
days that stayed there for you, along with my heart,
there you lived of words sanctuary, along a start,
that May you will always feel, your stare is of mead.
My gaze returns to the winds, mountain scent of dill
of prime recalled apostasy, faith of rainy oceans
abiding in my inner forms, and absent in a still
my silences recall of you retain of May emotions.

The Game of Stare
There’s a boy with his fellow
I caught his eyes with a wander
Now the game has been played
Now you have been challenged
You better asked my name
Before anyone came
But you only stare, stare, stare
Like I annoy your safety ring
Like you can’t even think
You only stare, stare, stare
Like I lose you something
Something you can’t even win
There’s boy in the dance floor
I catch his eyes, he comes closer
Now the game is replayed
Now you better watch out
You better take me out
Before someone calls you coward
Cause you only stare, stare, stare
Like you never see me in dress
Like no one else who dares
You only stare, stare, stare
Like I steal you something
Something you can’t even think
There’s a boy in the park
He makes me catch his eyes
Now the game is forward
Now you don’t want to break up
You better have a word
Before you loose your hold
And you only stare, stare, stare
Like a puppy wants a bone
Like you’ll be lost if I’m gone
You only stare, stare, stare
Like I can give you something
Something you think you can’t win

You Might Recall
What was it you said to me
Back in the days when things looked fine
bout how we would be together
Until we left the earth behind
Oh, its funny how things can change
Cos there was a time I thought Id be the one
Whod leave and start again
But now Id stay forever
Ooh my hopes are as the leaves upon the water
Just sunk in the night
And though I know you couldnt care, you oughtta
Ah, the end of a life
Or maybe when youre older, and youre thinking back
You might recall
Now did I act carefully, did I do right?
Or were we meant to be, all of our lives
In love and harmony, all of our lives?
So now, take my hand
Come, hold me closely
As near as you can
Believing all that we could be
And all that we have been
And all that we are
Everyday seems summertime
The river flow with wine
Ooh when you were here with me
I wish wed stayed that way forever
Oh my hopes are as the leaves upon the water
Just sunk in the night
And though I know you couldnt care, you oughtta
Ah, the end of a life
Or maybe when youre older, and youre thinking back
Well you might recall
Now did I act carefully, did I do right?
Or were we meant to be, all of our lives
In love and harmony, all of our lives?
So now, take my hand
Come, hold me closely
As near as you can
Believing all that we could be
And all that we have been
And all that we are
Oh my hopes were as the leaves upon the water
Ah, sunk in the night
And though I know you couldnt care, you oughtta
Oh, the end of a life

In love and harmony, all of our lives?
So now, take my hand

And all that we have been
And all that we are

Joe
There was a time I was so lonely
Remember the time, it was a friday
You made me feel fine, we did it my way
I sat on your knees every friday
I still recall you...
I see you in summer...
Joe... joe...
I sat on your chair by the fire
Transfixed in a stare, taking me higher
Precious years to remember
Childhood fears I surrender
I still recall you...
I see you in summer...
Joe... joe...

Ok, Fine, Whatever
ok, you are fine,
and i am fine too,
ok you sit there
and look at me
i also sit here
i can also do
what you do,
ok, fine, you are fine
and i am fine too,
stare at me
and i stare at you
ok, fine,
i am tired,
ok, fine,
i am also one suffering soul,
ok fine,
i know, what to wait
ok fine,
i know what waiting time is
i dont like to wait
but i wait just the same
it has something to do
with what is due me
and when
it has something to do
with what is given
and what i must receive
and return
everything, not
a thing, i return everything
that is given,
ok, i am fine,
i wait, i think, i ponder, i reflect,
i have nothing
to say....my lips are sealed, i like
my mouth shut
i like my spirit silenced
i like it still here, i am not going anywhere.
regards to
God.

The Bond of Star-gazing
Son, his father says,
why do you stare at the stars?
How can something millions
of miles away be of any use
to us?
Son, of what good is a nest-full
of blue-speckled birds’ eggs?
They won’t feed your children;
nobody will buy them.
Son, why do you plant
marigolds and zinnias
in furrows that could
be used for lettuce
and radishes?
Hummingbirds, butterflies,
wild ducks on the pond
over there: pretty, but we
have chores to do,
by the sweat of our brows.
****
One clear night, though,
walking out into the moonlit field,
the son saw a man standing
among the zinnias and marigolds,
looking upward:
Father, why do you stare at the stars?

The Sky
I look at the sky,
To daydream about us,
Your eyes looking at me from above,
The stars are bright like a light,
Your eyes are holding up the sky,
At night I think of you,
Sometimes I wonder where I want to go in life,
But I know that you love me,
I thought that I would be broken hearted forever,
But I know that you are the one that makes me smile,
As I glare and stare into the sky I wonder what are you thinking,
Sometimes I wonder how the sky is pretty and blue,
At night I make a wish,
Just one wish to be with you,
The sky might fall,
But I hope you are there to hold me,
When I fall I hope you’ll be there to catch me,
The sky is pretty when its at night when you just stare and hope to get a kiss under the stars.

In Our Lives
Written by John Mellencamp
Well I'm a middle-aged teenager
I'm a man of angst and leisure
Doin' the best that I can do
My problems are incorrect
I've always got it around my neck
Hey I'm just like you
Yeah I've done some good and I've done some bad
But the most fun that I ever had
Was singing my songs for you
And if I should go astray
I'd get down on my knees and pray
Say God forgive me for what I do
Oh in our lives
There's no right way for us to live it
You know in our lives
There's a time to cry and a time to forget it
Well I'm a broke down humble man
Baby that's just who I am
And that's from me to you
Well I feel good here
Got about a million more years
To do what it is I gotta do
And if some day you happen to be passin' my way
Say hi, hello, how are you
Well, I'll return the gesture in kind
And hope that things are fine
And you all just do what you gotta do
Oh in our lives
There's no right way for us to live it
Oh in our lives
There's a time to cry and a time to get with it
You know in our lives there's no right way for us to live it.
Well I'm a broke down humble man
That's just who I am
And that's from me to you
Yeah I'm a broke down humble man
Yeah that's just who I am
And that's from me to you
Oh in our lives
You know in our lives
Yeah in our lives there's no right way for us to live it

Staring At Sound/with You
I just don't want them to say,
"oh, it's a beautiful day."
Let's just not talk about the gloom.
Let's all go die in my living-room.
I want to be a movie-star,
And play the part of a man from outer-space.
When we meet, i'll fall in love with you.
And we have sex, but i don't know what to do (what to do).
I want to hear some band play,
A song that sounds just like you look.
And when they play, i'll follow them around,
Cause all i'd do is stare at the sound.
I'd just stare at the sound.
I'd just stare at the sound.
I'd just go.
Come on.
Hey.
What?
All that i know
Is my mind is blown.
When i'm with you.
When i'm with you. x5
When i'm...

Meander
Rain of Tuesday, flowing in wet seams;
watery rivulets run along road sides;
to faraway, vanishing in rainy streams;
I see you smiling, in my college slides;
A maid within Autumn mizzle to dance,
it was a September to recall, euphoric,
in blissful years traveler, stare askance,
occurring in my austere, hard life Doric.
In Boston Aquarium, with seals laughing,
Used a Minolta camera and Rokkor lens
eyes full of surprises, curiously asking,
inditing words on palms, with Cross pens.
Oettinger GTI races to one hundred sixty
black plummet bellows on P7 to reckon,
upon a meander path in woods, misty,
Alpine sounds a mystique fog, to second.
.................................. ....…
Amid woods our images will drive forever,
two wraiths will travel on a trip beautiful;
nostalgic to salute the trees - a meander,
is coiling to infinity, loving and wistful.

The Connection
When I see the connection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare
When I'm lost in my reflection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare
Then I change my direction
One foot follows the other
One foot follows something new
'Cause I need some protection
And I'm scared I could lose it
If I stare, you'll be gone
When I need some attention
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare
When I'm lost in my reflection
Though I see I don't stare
Though I see I don't stare

Deep Blue
A solitude of ghostly spill, a dim dispersion,
forgotten sand in eternity's hourglass,
sailors distinguish this life as an obsession,
warriors so expendable, across surpass.
My obsequies in sea, a trinket of dispersion,
recall me lost in January, found in May,
my dreams convert my demise to affection,
and my epitaph became a crossed dismay.
Thud Thud, sounds in sleep, wind-sail-blasts,
She may be the ultimate mens beguile,
Impertinent of a deity, waves on masts,
With her ambrosian sovereign touch and smile..
Maybe I 'll fly with her above a lonely steppe
my solitude will dream of her, as I 'll hark,
word of a priestess form, Delphic corax step,
expended in Stygian terre oblong, as Hydras bark.
Oh, Mother of all my ailments, effusive in cold air..
You who had bestowed my analogy on earth,
and blue Naiads who solemnly, filled my stare,
deep blue I claimed you, in ocean's cold hearth..

Happiness is a pair of away stars
Happiness is a pair of away stars -
for those who stare behind bars.
When I decided to fly away free -
I was a shadow of a cypress tree.
Retention of nothingness, to edge
my honor lonely, a pointy wedge,
red spilled wine, in dark accord,
poem white - chalk on black board.
And there memories, now abstruse,
on aimless wander, one to peruse,
when thoughts became, a void loss,
dusk crossed lines, life to emboss.
My lovely melodies of a nightingale
modes diatonic, propose and fail,
a smile of marble, thinking benign,
extension of solitude, aimless sign.
Happiness is a pair of away stars
for those who stare behind bars;
When I decided to fly away free -
I was a shadow of a cypress tree.

You Were Mine
When you were mine
I held some reason and rhyme
A Jacobs ladder to climb
Sweet days of roses and wine.
Back then our hearts were new
As newborn stars turned out to view
That restless ocean of blue.
Our souls kissed once
And flew.
When you were mine
And we would sit, candlelit
And dine
That laughter of another another time
Those harmonies that
Now i can only mime.
Tears always follow after love sublime
The hollow silence of decline.
That heartbreak in slow motion
Yet I say that I'm just fine
God, what gave me the notion
That you were ever mine.

Nothing Can Shake Me (From Your Love)
(from your love)
In this room
With the light of the sun in my eyes
I am blind
Can't recall
Where i am or what i did last night
Though i try and i try
*nothing can shake me from your love
It's true
No one can make me feel the things you do
Oh no, oh no*
In the street
In the street i can feel people stare,
Stare me down
I'm lookin' back
Just to see if i lost you somewhere
But you're nowhere around
(*repeat)
Turnin' over the city,
Just searchin for you
Ravin like a mad man
Is there anybody left,
In this whole damn town
To take pity on a sad man
Lord help me through this
Yeah, help me through this
I just can't make it this way
Please help me find her
Yeah help me find her
Somewhere, somehow, someway
In the night
With the moon and the stars high above
I can see
It's so strange
Though there's no rhyme or reason for love
Still it makes you its slave
( * repeat)
Oh no. ... ( repeat and fade)

Kiss Kiss Kiss
Kiss kiss kiss
Even if she does not posses
Angelina Jolie's luscious lips
Take her imagination to ecstasy
A place where flowers dance tango
A garden full of red and white roses
Your chapped strong lips her ticket
To the city where waterfalls sing
Kiss Kiss Kiss and make up
Make all her troubles go away
Light up your beautiful home gentleman.
Kiss Kiss Kiss
The only way to keep him
Close to your fire of passion
Put a lip gloss on your body
By the time you approach him
His eyes will be kissing and kissing
All over your smooth fine body
Be the lady of the smoking home
Kiss Kiss Kiss and make up
Take his imagination out of hardships
Worthy to be your partner kiss him.
Kiss Kiss Kiss
Respect your loving husband
Love your respectful wife.
