There is no face as fair
There is no face as fair
and dear to me
as yours
and no light shines as bright
and pure
as the look in your eyes.
If anything endures
it’s your heart that is true
and pure
and strike me with sincerity.
You alone satisfy the hunger
of my soul
and come as the drug
that brings sense and sensibility
when I want to brake free
from the things surrounding me.
Even if the world is sick
and malignant with horror,
pain, unfairness, cruelty
and hardship,
you still remain
the light in my life
and the one
that brings clarity
to the abyss around me
because you love unselfishly.

The Buddhist
There never was a face as fair as yours,
A heart as true, a love as pure and keen.
These things endure, if anything endures.
But, in this jungle, what high heaven immures
Us in its silence, the supreme serene
Crowning the dagoba, what destined die
Rings on the table, what resistless dart
Strike me I love you; can you satisfy
The hunger of my heart!
Nay; not in love, or faith, or hope is hidden
The drug that heals my life; I know too well
How all things lawful, and all things forbidden
Alike disclose no pearl upon the midden,
Offer no key to unlock the gate of Hell.
There is no escape from the eternal round,
No hope in love, or victory, or art.
There is no plumb-line long enough to sound
The abysses of my heart!
There no dawn breaks; no sunlight penetrates
Its blackness; no moon shines, nor any star.
For its own horror of itself creates
Malignant fate from all benignant fates,
Of its own spite drives its own angel afar.
Nay; this is the great import of the curse
That the whole world is sick, and not a part.
Conterminous with its own universe
the horror of my heart!

The Light of Love
The light of love rests upon my face
And from within...has set me free
Love's created my... happy heart
And of hopes...of things...I'll be
The light of love abides... within...
My soul now like child
Starts my broken heart...to blossoming
With warmth....and radaince...mild
Today I have purpose...By loves
rare light...I feel
Pure love...loves pure light to
My soul... it revealed
My family...let loves light devine
Shine on us...I say...
Touch our hearts...and eyes...
That all may see
Love on us...Love...convey
Now this... my only mission is... sacrad
To send loves message far
The light of love...is my heart
Love... my guiding star
I tell my family and.... well.... well... they never listen, to these words
That only true love can say
For only true love can convey
So...If you love someone
Then... follow that heart
For when love is real and true
From love you'll never depart
For only pure love can
Fix the man with broken heart

A View On Things (Cavatina Sequence)
We are puzzled, sometimes we are stunned,
in the sheer face
of beauty; loveliness catches the eye,
with a pure grace,
enigmatic we view morning-glories,
things commonplace
like the blue sky on a clear open day
are serene in the view that they portray.
Sometimes the sea plays its optical tricks
in on the mind,
as if changing its feelings with its hue;
daily we find
azure, cobalt blue, green and grey colours
that does remind
of times of happiness, of joy and pain;
too absolute some colours do remain.
If we get too close perspective is lost,
yet we still know
the true shape and colouring of a thing,
or a inner glow,
a white shimmering brings a universe
the eyes do show
that does not exist in our true sight,
sometimes brings to darkness another light.

Sonnet: What Can’t I Sacrifice To Reach Heaven?
In life, I compromise so many things;
I cannot fight forever in this world;
At times, I take whatever Life just brings;
My sufferings remain in heart untold!
But sin is one thing which I must avoid;
The soul is meant to reach God’s own Abode;
A sinful man can’t satisfy the Lord;
We must therefore live by His every code.
The God of purity is truth and light;
He abhors sins and abysmal darkness;
A thousand suns can’t match His face so bright!
He wants all men freed from devils’ harness.
The grace of God is robe and soul’s haven;
What can’t I sacrifice to reach Heaven?

Sonnet: Unfairness
Unfairness lives in every heart and mind;
Unfairness thrives in every earthling’s home;
Unfairness comes from siblings too, I find;
Earthlings are like uneven teeth of comb.
Unfairness occurs ev’n amidst most beasts;
Unfairness is seen ’midst the leaves of trees
Unfairness stays whenev’r the devil feasts,
And with the Apocalypse, it will cease.
Unfairness stems from world that’s within me;
Have I been fair to God who made me man?
Unfairness fills the world ’round me truly,
But it was man who did its sparks much fan!
Unfairness came with our first parents’ sin;
God’s Judgment fair will ultimately win.

Take Back the Virgin Page
Written on Returning a Blank Book
Take back the virgin page,
White and unwritten still;
Some hand, more calm and sage,
The leaf must fill.
Thoughts come, as pure as light
Pure as even you require;
But, oh! each word I write
Love turns to fire.
Yet let me keep the book:
Oft shall my heart renew,
When on its leaves I look,
Dear thoughts of you.
Like you, 'tis fair and bright;
Like you, too bright and fair
To let wild passion write
One wrong wish there.
Haply, when from those eyes
Far, far away I roam,
Should calmer thoughts arise
Towards you and home;
Fancy may trace some line,
Worthy those eyes to meet,
Thoughts that not burn, but shine,
Pure, calm, and sweet.
And as, o'er ocean far,
Seamen their records keep,
Led by some hidden star
Through the cold deep;
So may the words I write
Tell through what storms I stray --
You still the unseen light,
Guiding my way.

How Do I Love You? (Sonnet Corona)
(after Elizabeth Barrett Browning)
I
There is no way
that I can truly express my love for you,
the yearning of every day
not even in the things that I say and do,
the simple things
that fit into the puzzle of life,
and heartfelt tidings
outbalances the every day strife
that comes naturally to a consort, or wife
is all unclear in the quite need,
and its truth never pierces like a knife,
it is from beyond any act or deed
but is like childhood faith, without pain
it’s somewhat difficult to explain.
II
It’s somewhat difficult to explain
how love is supposed to be
in rays of sunlight, drops of rain
and everything that we see
totally without iniquity
even in sorrow, pain, joy,
as a natural instinct, sprouting free
from every ploy
or whatever life brings, in sincerity
it is in every heart beat, every breath,
the things that you are to me
surpassing even the power of death,
that against adversity can endure
as something sweet, something pure.
III
As something sweet, something pure,
our love is always striving to be true
coming free from any pressure and being sure
it bonds me to you in all that I pursue,
my world, everything that is dear,
gets a own clarity
when you are near and without fear
we take on the responsibility
that living together brings
loosing ourselves in each other,
finding meaning in small happenings
in things that brings blithe and bother
and I am attracted to you’re dear smiling face;
you surpass any other grace.
IV
You surpass any other grace
beauty or splendour that I do see,
everything is in the praise
of you who loves me,
blessed I am among men
to have found a heart as kind,
that comes alive when
I am near and if I call to mind
among the greatest things that I have experienced
you reign supreme with your lasting love
that comes unprejudiced
as the finest blessing from above:
in every single day I am truly alive;
although we are hardly yet through the fight of life.
V
Although we are hardly yet through the fight of life,
still with time we struggle on,
you are the one
who supports me, as my sentry, my dearest wife
and through the strife
that destiny demands, until it is done
no one can leave each other or be gone
as we are bonded and the challenges is rife,
we live with no lies, with truth between us,
we walk hand in hand and eye to eye
although sometimes we are frightened,
every thing we do discuss,
as children of God under the clear blue sky,
to each other we have opened.
VI
To each other we have opened,
the doors of our hearts and souls
we have straightened,
the lines of our narrow lives, letting out the ghouls,
we have experienced the secrets of the body’s bliss
have unbarred our inner selves, every windowpane
in every single kiss
with warmth and understanding tried to explain
the beauty of loving each other
we have opened doors that cannot be shut again
in sheer nudity without a bother,
we have bonded without restrain
and I read intimacy as time flies,
in the silences in your eyes.
VII
In the silences in your eyes
there is an own language and every gesture
have more hues to it than the skies
in its structure, it’s simplicities and its nature
and some things I do not comprehend or hear
while you unfold with petals while you are flowering,
as I am far too near to distinguish lustrous things as clear
and it’s as if I am in the middle of spring
and the fragility with which you unfold,
is very striking, takes my breath away, taking it hither
while I hold you in the cold
of this winter, as if it will whither,
as if like a blooming rose you cannot stay,
there is no way.

Letter to Kimani, my son
I am writing you to let you know
My son how much I love you so
I miss you and I wish I were there
For you I will always care
I would change time if I could
To mend my mistakes yes I would
I wish I could make things right
For your love I will always fight
My boy you are so smart
That’s why you are dear to my heart
So far you are now from me
A great man you shall one day be
As much as I try and try
Your picture brings tears to my eyes
Time stands still while I look
My feelings I could fill a book
Your voice I sometimes here on the phone
But the pain still won’t leave me alone
A thousand words can’t say what I feel
The pains I have just won’t heal
I love you more than words can tell
I wish I had a wishing well
I would wish away all the sorrow
I’d wish you a brighter tomorrow
You deserve better than what I did for you
I did my best that’s all I could do
God bless the day you came to me just as you are
You are my guiding light and my lucky star
The things you do are so clever
My love for you will change never
So far from his father my lovable boy
Your light brings me so much joy
No matter where, no matter when
For my love you can always depend
No matter the pain nor the strife
I will love you more than life
I love you more than I could ever show
I love you more than you will ever know
Without you life is no longer fun
You are my life, my legacy, and my son

Light
Light that can be kind. Light that can smell sweet. Light that can be soft.
Light that can be porcelain. Light that can be silent. Light that can speak.
Light that can hold many colors. Light that can be romantic. Light that can be harsh.
Light that can be cold. Light that can be warm. Light that can be dry.
Light that can be loud. Light that can be love. Light that can be faith.
Light that can be full of strength. Light that can be pure. Light that can be dark.
Light that can be fragile. Light that can be crazy. Light that can be weird.
Light that can be old. Light that can be new. Light that can be inbetween.
Light that can be swift. Light that can be sharp. Light that can wonder.
Light that can be insane. Light that can be smooth. Light that can dream.
Light that can be free. Light that can be everlasting. Light that can be wild.
Light that is the lord. Light that is Jesus. Light that is holy.
Light that is the trinity. Light that can belong. Light that can be fast.
Light that can sing. Light that is the holy ghost. Light that is the Bible.
Light that can be a mith. Light that can be still. Light that can be different.
Light that can be hole. Light that can be true. Light that can be whimsical.
Light that can be bright. Light that can be formed. Light that is blessed.
Light that can be full of presence. Light that can tell a story. Light that can be intelligent.
Light that is like no other!

Love is something that you cannot remove (Catena Rondo)
Love is something that you cannot remove
quite suddenly you know, she knows it too
it is in everything that you say and do,
love is something that you cannot remove
quite suddenly you know, she knows it too,
it is the very quaintest kind of thing
that to you both is suddenly happening
quite suddenly you know, she knows it too,
it is the very quaintest kind of thing
when sense and sensibility brings
to your actions, thoughts and your feelings wings
it is the very quaintest kind of thing
when sense and sensibility brings
a secret understanding that is true,
sincerity that encompass both of you
when sense and sensibility brings
a secret understanding that is true,
when a look carries a message to both
that goes much further than any oath
a secret understanding that is true,
when a look carries a message to both
when the body reacts to a single touch
when pre-comprehension says very much
when a look carries a message to both
when the body reacts to a single touch
when life seems so much greater than it is,
when mere company is full of much bliss
when the body reacts to a single touch,
when life seems so much greater than it is,
when a bond develops around the divine,
selfless you loose the own me and mine
when life seems so much greater than it is,
when a bond develops around the divine
where although separate, you become one,
without each other hardly want to live on
when a bond develops around the divine
where although separate, you become one;
love is something that you cannot remove,
to each other you do not have to prove
where although separate, you become one,
love is something that you cannot remove
quite suddenly you know, she knows it too
it is in everything that you say and do,
love is something that you cannot remove.

Forsaking My Love
I hate you
I wish to tear you away from me
This tumor that clings to my chest
The thing that makes me ache
That haunts my dreams
And tears at my desires
You have brought me only pain
My untamed heart
That beast that gnaws at my soul
That pitifully whines
Bringing my mind into unwanted pain
Yet how can I blame you
How can I chastise you when I listen intently to your pleas
Why should I punish you for what my eyes feed upon
How can I blame my eyes for falling upon her
She who brings light to the eternal darkness of my soul
She whose eyes bring me to subjection
Whose smile leaves me in awe
How can I blame you when my ears are met with her laughter
How they submerge into her song
How they quiver at her voice
Why should I punish you for inclining my soul
Tempting it with the one sense that has been forsaken by her
How could I look over the thought of the brushing of lips
The touching of hands
The binding of the soul, mind, and body
O you wretched heart
What am I to do with this constant companion
How could I tear you away
When she is the cause of my agony
Or rather
It is the lack of her which brings me sorrow
It is the need for her that leaves my heart in pain
Yet she is not mine
She was never mine
She will never be mine
O my poor heart
How can I make you see reason
When all you do is show me the truth

My Star Shines Bright
No matter how dark things seem around me, my star shines bright…
When there is only Darkness…and no light…
My star shines bright.
When I am out in the night…
My star shines bright.
When there is no sun, moon, or any other star in site.
My star…Shines bright.
Things in my life my not always be fair…
But I have my star and its Sparkling Glare
My Goal is clearly not in sight…
But I can find it, with my star that shines bright.
I can see the light
With my star that shines bright.
My star…
Turns the darkness of the night
Into the sparkling sight
Of the Glimmering Light! !
My star…
Shines bright…

Pain - The Inside Story
Have you seen pain?
No you cannot see.
No you cannot feel.
Only the one who is suffering!
He can see pain.
All you can see is the tears from his eyes.
All you listen, his shivering scream and cries.
You just becomes witness and pray to God.
Still nothing happens and you become sad.
Pain comes to your near or dear.
Brings us more closer to your dear.
Pain comes to any neighbor or stranger.
You close your eyes and then who care.
Transform your pain into creativity.
Transform your pain into spirituality.
Then pain becomes your emotions.
This will cure all your tensions.
Let it flow from heart, instead of body.
Let it flow from soul as your creativity.
- Like words flowing as poetry.
- Like colors flowing as painting.
Then whole world seems changing.
You can see the change in geometry.
The last secret of pain is yet to tell.
Pain is heaven and also pain is hell.
Pain is north pole, pain is south pole.
In our life pain plays an important role.
Pain are two opposite shores of happiness.
One is the beginning other is the end.
One is the Sunset other is the sunrise.
One brings light other brings darkness.
Pain is reaction of our actions.
Pain is results of our 'Karmas.'
What wrong we do, pain is the byproduct.
What right we do still pain is the byproduct.
In first case pain is stored.
In final case pain is released.
Eat chilly for first time, see the pain of belly.
When chilly is released again see the pain of belly.
See the pain when you get cramp.
See the pain when you release the cramp.
This is my inside story about the pain.
I hope my words will not go in vain.

After our Likeness.
Before me now a little picture lies—
A little shadow of a childish face,
Childishly sweet, yet with the dawning grace
Of thought and wisdom on her lips and eyes.
Fair, oval, broad-brow'd face—small, delicate head—
Transparent skin, with blue veins shining through—
All the soft outlines, beautiful and true,
Bring me the echo of the words “God said.”
Made “in our image”—sure 'tis that we see,
God's likeness, in the fair face of a child,
By the world's sin and passion undefiled—
Ay, as I look, it seems quite plain to me.
The light wherein the little features shine,
Strange, mystic light, so undefined and faint,
So far too pure for any words to paint—
'Tis a reflection of the Face divine.
Some day the earthly shadows will be cast
Across that sunshine—it may be to dim
A while the visible countenance of Him;
But 'twill be there—the likeness—to the last.
Some day the lucid waters, in which lie
Pictured those glorious lineaments, will be
Stirred up and troubled like a stormy sea;—
But they will yet re-settle—by-and-by.
They will re-settle when the soul is still'd,
Its passions, its wild longings, and its pain;
The pure reflection will shine out again
When earth's hopes are relinquish'd, unfulfill'd.
They will re-settle in those after-years
When life's hard lessons have been conned and learn'd;
Then this child's beauty will have all return'd,
More lovely for the trouble and the tears.
They will re-settle in the calm of death,
When the sweet eyes are laid asleep, and when
The heart is hush'd. Truly God's likeness then—
The mirror clear, unsullied by a breath.
Ah! while I look, and trace each tender line,
I think most of the day when I shall see
The dear face in that perfect purity,
Its mortal features clothed with the divine.
This self-same face, but with the image bright,
Nevermore undefined, and faint, and dim;
This self-same face, yet like the face of Him,
In glory and in beauty infinite.

From The Cantata For N. F. S. Grundtvig
His day was the greatest the Northland has seen,
It one was with the midnight-sun's wonders serene:
The light wherein he sat was the light of God's true peace,
And that has never morning, nor night when it must cease.
In light of God's peace shone the
history
he gave,
The spirit's course on earth that shall conquer the grave.
Might of God's pure peace thus our
fathers'
mighty way
Before us for example and warning open lay.
In light of God's peace he beheld with watchful eye
The people at their work and the spirit's strivings high.
In light of God's pure peace he would have all learning glow,
And where his word is honored the 'Folk-High-Schools' must grow.
In light of God's peace stood 'mid sorrow and care
For Denmark's folk his comfort, a castle strong and fair;
In light of God's pure peace there shall once again be won
And thousand-fold increased, what seems lost now and undone.
In light of God's peace stands his patriarch-worth,
The sum and the amen of a manful life on earth.
In light of God's pure peace how his face shone, lifted up,
When white-haired at the altar he held th' atoning cup.
In light of God's peace came his word o'er the wave,
In light of God's pure peace sound the sweet psalms he gave.
In light of God's pure peace, as its sunbeam curtains fall
To hide him from us, stands now his memory for all.

The Pool
By the pool that I see in my dreams, dear love,
I have sat with you time and again;
And listened beneath the dank leaves, dear love,
To the sibilant sound of the rain.
And the pool, it is silvery bright, dear love,
And as pure as the heart of a maid,
As sparkling and dimpling, it darkles and shines
In the depths of the heart of the glade.
But, oh, I 've a wish in my soul, dear love,
(The wish of a dreamer, it seems,)
That I might wash free of my sins, dear love,
In the pool that I see in my dreams.

Give Me Dark Any Day
Darkness a shroud, created to blind
Light often leaves somebody behind
Dark is forever, faithful and true
Light often hides all the lies from you
You think light brings answers, no
Night does that, just so you know
Night is protective
Light, selective
Night is a comfort, a blanket, and friend
Light hides more lies and ways to pretend
Night is how you protect yourself
Light brings pain that you'd rather put away on a shelf
Watch as night appears as Light fades in the west
Now can you see why I like Dark best?
On that note, I leave you with this
Know that Night will protect you with a dark, sweet abyss

Broken Chains
The light of love, found a place
On the brook, flowers, and trees
Now it burns inside my heart
The hope of things, I now can be
The light of love abides within
My heart now tender and mild
Like flowers that bloom, it grows
My eyes, and face now can smile
Today no more unseen purposes
By love's rare light, I feel
My friends, family, it's my pure heart
To you, thanks, I've been healed
Today I stand, strong, noble, and free
Because of your love
My heart is now like, that strong great oak tree
Because of you, the past is gone, I'm free
I'm free
The chains of abuse, are broken, I'm finally free

Bright light
Bright light o so bright
Brings down a ray of sun light
This light that is so bright
Why does it shine on me?
Why would it shine on some one unworthy of it
I can't take this light this very bright light
It shines on someone unworthy
It looks like its my turn
To take whats mine to prove to this light
I am worthy
I can take it
It ain't so bright
But yet i still sit here
Alone
In this light
And all i want to do is
Shut the door
