Spring: First rain
Clouds gather dark, ominous and pregnant
filled with the thunder-gloom
and the womb of the earth waits expectant
for the life giving substance to shower down
to turn seeds to living sprouts
and a fresh odour rises from the ground
when rain splatters, showers, falls
like a river from the sky.

Mother Natures Fall Dress
The wind came up and started to blow
A sky filled with dark and rain coming slow.
Trees swaying touching the ground
The rain still coming but now surrounds.
Lightening slashing the fabric of the sky
Exposing the vestitial virgins colorful eye.
The river was in a turmoil with patches of wake
Falls first weather and summer heat, to break.
The wind picking up almost to a gale
Thunder and lightening with enough rain to fill a pail.
I sit among natures eventual force
Wind, ligntening and dark clouds of course.
More white caps on the river below
In a few short months we will call them snow.
The butterfly with flapping wings in haste
The wind takes no excuse for being late.
Disneyland could put on a replica of this endeavor
Wind, rain, thunder and lightening and be very clever.

Majestic Weather
Majestic Weather
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted July 28 2008
We live even love to worship the sun like god
The birds sing when the sun rises and the sun sets,
Without the sun it would be cold and darkness all the time.
We do not worship the clouds
When they can be white fluffs,
Or grey masses so called black clouds cause disaster or rain.
If it was not cloudy it would not cool the earth
It would not shower or showers to cause puddles,
Than after the shower or showers the sun comes out to be beautiful.
So while the sun shines a rainbow is over the horizon that is majestic colors.

Rain
'RAIN'
Rain what a nice name!
From the sky falling dauntlessly like drops of water
Sometimes the rain falls with thunder and sometimes not.
Oh how I feel to see the rain!
From my window I see the rain
And people with umbrellas and so on
Hundreds of people come out and see the rain.
Oh we enjoy rain
But now the thunder blows and falls with ice!
We get scared!
Rain in the seas and oceans,
The sailors are busy
And away moves the ships with gusty wind and thunder.
The rain gives us shower
And we get pleasure!
The rain fulfills our wishes and arises with rays of new hopes! ! !

It Isn’t Winter
It isn’t winter that brings out
the brazing energy in me,
but the summer sun, the summer rain
the fresh earth that I wallow in
with fingers, with spade, with pickaxe
and rake scalloping the earth
in lines like a huge shell
in the womb of which is buried
the treasured seeds,
that will soon be sprouting
some into vegetables,
some into pretty flowers
giving back life and tranquillity.

Liquid more pure
Liquid more pure
than that flowing on earth
and from the wells in the ground,
from tankards in white clouds
drifting on the blue sky
fall sparkling like jewels
through the air.
The smell of rain
rise from the ground
and the earth is fresh and new
while drops shower it
and a secret ingredient called nitrogen
brings life and gives growth
to grass, flowers, plants and trees.

A New Economic Theory
the sea has so much water
and so
has the rivers and ponds
and creeks too
you are the mighty sun
and you activate all your rays
like hands generating heat
from your self-energizing body
you take in
all their potable waters and keep
them in all your friendly clouds
and then by your power
as the all-kind all-giving sun
you order all the clouds to shower
to all the land the much needed rain
even the tiniest moss and algae
the underprivileged worms
the hibernating creatures
the dried seeds shall have the share
of all wondrous waters of the earth
this gather-all-and-trickle down
economic theory of mine
at the end
all shall have their share
all shall grow and bear fruit
throughout the years of their lives
where shall hunger be?
and wars and chaos?

It’s pressing hot
It’s pressing hot
and the air begs for rain
and in the distance
thunder bolts lights up the horizon
while grey black clouds
are pressed together ominous.
Suddenly the first drop
hangs on your cheek
and meanders down
with some friends
and drops become
pouring rain
that falls in buckets full
and now there’s thunder
that reports everywhere around us.
Still you stand amazed
as if stuck to the spot
to catch the cool embrace
and I run
to the shed
to stay dry.

The summer
The summer is busy
catching speed
and I see how the bright blue sky,
is changed by clouds
that suddenly hangs dark and breeding.
In the distance a thunder rolls
and there are big drops
that falls about me in the red dirt
and I can almost see the grass,
bushes and trees
jump centimetres
from the power
that the clear drops bring.
Small sprouts are bursting green
out of the red brown ground
in the vegetable garden
and the magic of new life
is everywhere to be seen.

Water My Thirsty Soul
Can the rain fall from cloudless skies
Can your tears fall from hardened eyes
I cried out to the Lord, in my time of need
I prayed for the rain, my soul to feed
And my God, who is never far away
Opened up His heart as He listened to me pray
And from heaven on high He sent down the rain
There's a river of grace that's gonna wash away the pain
And out of my heart flows a river so deep
My once dry eyes they now continually weep
And everywhere the river flows there's grace from above
And everyone it touches they are filled with His love
This rain that falls, it falls from endless blue skies
It fills my empty heart and falls down from my eyes
The Lord Himself sent down the rain from above
And now the cloudless skies are filled with clouds of His love
So if it's rain your looking for, this moment, today
Wont you fall down on your knees and cry out and pray
The Lord of every rain dropp that falls down from above
Will sweep you down the river to an ocean of love
This ocean is boundless, its forever and a day
And in this sea of beauty you will hear the Lord say
I am the Father's tears that was shed from above
And I will carry you home across this ocean of love

April Rain
The April rain, the April rain,
Comes slanting down in fitful showers,
Then from the furrow shoots the grain,
And banks are fledged with nestling flowers;
And in grey shaw and woodland bowers
The cuckoo through the April rain
Calls once again.
The April sun, the April sun,
Glints through the rain in fitful splendour,
And in grey shaw and woodland dun
The little leaves spring forth and tender
Their infant hands, yet weak and slender,
For warmth towards the April sun,
One after one.
And between shower and shine hath birth
The rainbow's evanescent glory;
Heaven's light that breaks on mists of earth!
Frail symbol of our human story,
It flowers through showers where, looming hoary,
The rain-clouds flash with April mirth,
Like Life on earth.

What's Between The Lines...
The clouds roll in,
the thunder roars,
another stormy night,
elegant in it's own way,
the lightning strikes,
the thunder crashes,
the rain ever so clever,
seeps through the slightest cracks,
the night ever so fragile,
now,
caressed in the motionless fog,
the fog ever so graceful,
never doth touch the dark damp ground,
the ground ever so cold,
stares wide-eyed at the world around,
and watches as the clouds subside,
the thunder and lightning,
one again hide,
and the storm is gone,
now again,
the sun may shine.

23feb Earth Swells Into National Cry Mourning
rain falls heavy
like an old friend
tears at funeral
hot dry
summer dust
tear fed
choked hearts
release pain
individual pain
earth swells
into national
cry mourning
steady drum beat
march on life
honoured resolve
new showers
quake
hopes broken
new showers
quake
solid memory
fallen
not forgotten
friendship
endures
love endures
drum beats
rain rain
is falling harder
many showers
tears cascades
torrential rain
falls fast intense
sound loud
continuous
emotion
outpouring
still a heavy rain falls
in our feeling hearts
to fill the cold silences

Astonishing Forest
Where the house filled with living
The house continuously giving
Where the house filled with nature
The house filled with adventure
Anything can survive
With the nature it provides
Where the house filled with grass
The house filled with hedges, bushes and plants
Canopy trees be it rain or shine
Will be there for you at any time
Where the green house filled with fresh air
Will shelter you in the heavy rain
O the house of beauty
O the house of sound
So much variety is yet to be found

I Raise My Head
i raise my head towards the heavy rain
strong seeds of water
hitting my eyes
like i am the cracking earth
thirsty of the
season
the seeds stay inside my
eyelids
my heart and sprouts to
become
the trees of my life
i am not afraid if i cannot
move anymore
with roots coming out
from my feet.

Friendship
Friendship is a seed
that sprouts from the ground
when an open hand is extended
when smiles and laughters are shared
when exchange of stories is heard.
Friendship is a plant
that thrives on the ground
when drops of rain fall down
when sunshine breaks through
the leaves to make food for life.
Friendship sprouts and grows
when love and care are extended
when deepest thoughts are understood
when laughters and tears and shared
when wrongs are forgiven for a fresh start.
Friendship is a seed, a plant
which sprouts and grows
when its common food
on the leaves and from the ground
feeds the mind and heart
to bear and sustain friendship
in all the good and bad times.

the selfless rain in our life..Dear Father!
Rain never benefits from raining, though the process is tough,
Lonely clouds gather and collide up above the sky with trough,
Competition is tough, when the harsh reality wind blows rough,
Floating alone or in crowd with one aim at the loving hearts,
Providing the life giving sky juice to the livings on earth,
Fathers, you are all as the rain, upgrading ancestral paths,
The gathering of clouds end up in raining with gala fun,
But we see you all in salt, fresh and polluted water Tins,
What have we done to you all, dear fathers of the human,
Vibrant and the most intelligent fathers of the animal kingdom,
What have we done to you all for your generous affection,
Except showing our gratitude in colorful flowers, that bloom,
Bounties of grains, pulses and the tall trees that groom,
The mother earth as your bride, Father, you are all selfless rain,
We, the children of your bride, will never let you down,
So you run in our body as the life giving elixir, still sacrificing,
Father, we love you, all, each and every one of you, hard striving.
Let us float on you gently, Father, don't create under current,
our family boat has the safe journey when you are happy and sound.
Happy Father's Day! !

You'll be safe, just trust me
Somebody once told me
Life is just full of troubles
We have to go through
But I want to turn back
And the end of the road
Would always be a secret
Dense fog
Hard rain
Black clouds
Dark night
The shiny sun is forgotten
The daylight is miles away
When we can see our destination,
We can turn back
We can go ahead
I know that the fog will disappear soon
And the hard rain will be finished if we hope that the rainbow will come
Those black clouds will be white again if we don’t lose our erasers
We can make it to the end of the road safely through the dark night,
If we don’t forget the lighted candle in our hearts
Never let the hopeless wind opens the door of your heart
It blows the candle
And then
There will be gloom forevermore
The candle will break through the gloom
Your destination is not far away
Just keep going on
And the candle
Remember that
Let is always shine in your heart

The Latter Rain
Behold how the atomized droplets of the ocean
Are sun-powered and airlifted to the waiting clouds,
There to be electrified by God's thunder and lightning.
Hear how they break the eternal silence of infinite space!
Blessed from above, rain falls without fully falling,
As if its awesome immensity taps at our life -
Either as God's celestial shower of magnanimous mercy
Or worldwide cascading waterfalls of life's existence,
Revitalised rain emptying itself so that the world below survives!
Mankind's cleansed of its failure or excess, all is derailed...
What's ours by our birthright is creation in its wholeness.
Behold the rain, its service is free to one and all...
Its faith is in our universal humanity -
Ever bent by sin yet seeking that same level with Heaven,
We are like the rain, nourishing the weary Earth once more
With the repeated rapture of this wondrous redeeming desire.

Rain or Shine, It's Divine
The golden fiery eye rises
In the east and sets in the west
And shines for a day in between;
Although at times there may be clouds
That shrouds its penetrating rays
From us, we know its radiance
Is like a god that can’t be seen
But still feel his omnipresence.
And when the heavenly tears fall
From the sky, they are tears of joy
Not to be confused with sadness
For this god is a loving god
That showers all of us with love
Yes, even the nonbelievers.
Rain falls from heaven.
Behind the clouds the sun shines
Patiently in wait.
