Like a snapped branch
Like a snapped branch
I am bended before You my Lord
and at Thy feet I want to learn at Thy knees
and I am torn into pieces and weak
and I see the sparkle of your heavenly roof
and the beautiful nature that honour You.
Like a snapped dried out branch
I am broken before You my Lord
and Your decisions of my fate hits me down to earth
and it feels as if I sink away into the dark swamp
without being able to stop it
and I crave a sign, star or miracle to exorcise the evil
or I will always be like a snapped branch.

The Little Turtle
A Recitation for Martha Wakefield, Three Years Old
There was a little turtle.
He lived in a box.
He swam in a puddle.
He climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a mosquito.
He snapped at a flea.
He snapped at a minnow.
And he snapped at me.
He caught the mosquito.
He caught the flea.
He caught the minnow.
But he didn't catch me.

The Broken Sky
In telephone
my daughter told
earlier rain with the storm
along with crystal ice
threw the pot to the high road
threw the sheet of the neighbour house roof
broke the branch tree
slaughtered branch fell on a pair of couple
to seven grade sky
that already broken

The Tree And The Branch
the tree looks
upon a branch
where a ripe
fruit is hanging
the tree says
it is mine
the branch say
i am holding it
the tree says
the branch too
belongs to it
angry about the
tree's greed
the branch lets go off
the ripe fruit
a hungry child
picks it up
and goes home
with a happy heart

Branches In Time
A young tender
branch
is easily bent
into submission.
As time goes
by
maturity begins
to set in
the branch
grows stronger.
With each passing
day
she becomes able to
carry the leaves
attached
Until one day
raising her arms
high into the sky
a mature branch
emerges
refusing to bend
anymore.

Y.. Tree of Life
The tree of life
It has a branch
A money making branch
The bigger the money making branch
The more comfortable our life
But if the money making branch
Is the only branch
On our tree of life
It is such an ugly and unstable tree.
A prayer and devotion branch
Will stabilize the tree of life
Let it be a real big branch
On your tree of life
But if only two branches on a tree
Imagine how ugly it would still be!
So let there be branches
Of Affability and Charity
Of Cheerfulness and Friendliness
Of Gentleness and Honesty
Of Humility and Compassion
Of Spirituality and Wisdom
Of Courage and Hard work
With these branches present,
It will carry soon the lush greenery
Of love and job satisfaction
And soon enough, the tree of life
Will bear the fruits
Of peace of mind and happiness.
A wonderful tree of life I wish you
with many fine branches
and lots of greenery and fruits.

The Affection Of The Wives On The Joo
Along the raised banks of the Joo,
To hew slim stem and branch I wrought,
My lord away, my husband true,
Like hunger-pang my troubled thought!
Along the raised banks of the Joo,
Branch and fresh shoot confessed my art.
I've seen my lord, my husband true,
And still he folds me in his heart.
As the toiled bream makes red its tail,
Toil you, Sir, for the Royal House;
Amidst its blazing fires, nor quail:--
Your parents see you pay your vows.
A Broken Branch, A Fervent Tree
Such compassion and beauty be,
With the comfort strongly felt,
A friendship intensely made,
By the obstacles both sides have dealt.
I have no life without my other half,
No laughter unfeigned, no smile undelayed,
Immensely crafted into a bond,
So resilient and true, yet not dismayed.
I am a branch without a tree,
If I'm not with you, I fall, I am unbalanced,
You are my inner strength, my inner warmth,
A clandestine unglanced.
Such a friend you are,
A friend that one could never imagine,
A feeling of mirth and undeniable care,
As warm as a joyful grin.
I am a branch without a tree,
Incomplete without a tree,
I am the branch, you are the tree,
A broken branch, a fervent tree.

Today... 'The Branch of the root of Jesse
From the Root of Jesse there came a Rod
and He became known as the Son of God.
From Jesse's stump a branch began to grow
that no one was able to overthrow.
On Him The Holy Spirit came to rest
and because of Him the people were blessed.
His delight is in the Fear of the Lord
and in Him dwelt all the wisdom of God.
For He will not judge by just what He sees
and neither will he seek all men to please.
Righteousness He will wear as a belt
and the Rod of His mouth will then be felt.
On Him the Spirit of the Lord will rest
with Divine understanding He is blessed.
Spirit of counsel and power endeared
filled with the power of the Lord He feared.
The fruit of the Spirit this Branch shall bear
and Faithfulness as a sash He will wear.
with breath from His lips the wicked He slays
and righteousness shall be His belt always.

Meaning
When I die, I will see the lining of the world.
The other side, beyond bird, mountain, sunset.
The true meaning, ready to be decoded.
What never added up will add Up,
What was incomprehensible will be comprehended.
- And if there is no lining to the world?
If a thrush on a branch is not a sign,
But just a thrush on the branch? If night and day
Make no sense following each other?
And on this earth there is nothing except this earth?
- Even if that is so, there will remain
A word wakened by lips that perish,
A tireless messenger who runs and runs
Through interstellar fields, through the revolving galaxies,
And calls out, protests, screams.

Sonnet: Jesus, the Grape-Vine
“I am the Vine: You be its branch always.”
Jesus is succor and our nourishment;
Allow the sap to flow to bless your days;
There will be no defeat or punishment.
’Tis easy being branch with leaves and fruits;
We help the vine to grow luxuriously;
The starch that’s made makes sturdy trunk and roots;
The wine from grapes will soothe hearts curiously.
A broken branch will lose its life quite soon;
A leafless one is useless to the vine;
A fruitless one is bane and not a boon;
With God, we make our earthly days divine.
The vine is proud to make the best of wine;
With God’s will done, man’s soul looks rather fine!

Better is the branch that bends, than the branch that breaks.
Sonnet 14
constant love in inconstant time,
not victim to altering circumstance,
one will makes of two, two one divine
constant, proving love's allegiance.
begotten of two may be ten children.
then ten children make many ten.
soon ten thousand inhabit heaven.
ten thousand your image bear then
to posterity, your children to grow
and branch reign in highest heaven.
children in branch will branch bow.
in star clusters sprout image then!
but to posterity, o will-less one,
your will dies and posterity's done.

Green Branch
I want to be a green branch
In vineyards of the Lord
To grow in strength and beauty
As leaves to light unfold
To dwell close to the true vine
Refreshed by showers of faith
Amid a sea of flowers
No weeds, no seeds of wraith
I want to see the garden
That Jesus tends with love
The true vine of all living
Who blesses from above
I want to be a green branch
In vineyards of the Lord
To grow in strength and beauty
As leaves to light unfold.

The Rose as a Sign
The rose breaks
Off from its branch
And hits the cold ground.
The wind picks it up
And blows the rose
A great distance away.
The rose travels even
Farther as it is carried
On through its brillant journey.
The rose lands at a girls
Feet and is picked up.
The girl asked for a sign
To keep her from running
Away from home and
The rose was her sign to stay.

Third Heaven
'For as the heaven
is high above the earth
so great is his mercy
toward them
that feared him'.
Psalm 103: 11
Winged creatures, glistered by glory,
snapped him from the peak of the earth.
Consigned to heaven:
The elders en masse, in white robes sang:
Hallelujah! hallelujah! hallelujah to the King!
'The heaven, even the heavens,
are the Lord's:
But the earth hath he given
to the children of men'.
Psalm 115: 6
Now that I am here
what will my duties be?
The elders replied:
Worship!
Worship!
Worship the Lord on high!

Fledgling Arisen after Wanda Lea Brayton 1948
Fledgling's wings flutter for first flight
nascent sing-song stutters, sight
set on branch which from branch will lead
to pace race search for space with speed.
In place of premature demise
adventure calls from welcome skies,
fate fortunate sees risks recede,
no hobbled haemoglobin bleed.
Storms scents warn to prevent surprise
as keen preened instincts swift surmise
that nestling's boughs, like river reed
bend, balm awaiting, prudent creed.
Instinctive trust in branch, bough, lies
within to win that life supplies
as evolution helps succeed
the fittest Nature guaranteed.
Far from black hole of Death's dark night
forefathers flew, found expedite
ways to evolve, and safe proceed
from perils to fair future freed.

Fools Let It Fly
Success has wings
It never perches
On a branch longer ,
It flies from one to another
wise waits
with a cage to catch
but fools let it fly
and meet with failure
which has broken wings
perches on a branch longer.
