I can not wait for two o’clock to come

I cannot wait for two o’clock to come
to climb on my motorbike
and to ride to the place
where the words of other poets
get life and energy
and bring bliss and burning beauty
and sometimes sincerity
or stark reality
as magic to me.

I cannot wait for two o’clock to come
to hear the words
of a master and to find something
in his thoughts that I can make mine,
as if it was buried in my soul
just waiting for the sun and rain
and interaction to sprout
growing green like a living thing.

I cannot wait for two o’clock to come
to read my own poetry
and to see what other
people make of it
and to know
if my words are truly
hitting their mark.

I cannot wait for two o’clock to come
and to experience something great
that makes life worth living
and perhaps for some time
to sit near the presence
of the Immortal One
that gives man the ability
to turn words into the magic
that life aught to be.

The Wait

What would you do if I could not wait,
would not wait for you?
You would never see me in evening
or in the morning's dew.
All the things that come alive
for my eyes to see
would not be looked upon by you,
only seen by me.

For I cannot wait. My life ticks away
and my body withers too fast.
And all this waiting has taken its toll
and I feel I will not last.
So the clock stops now. The wait is gone
and the time with you, no more.
And of course I know what you will think,
'What was she waiting for? '

At Six O'clock

I heard the Ave Maria at six o'clock,
Today hear crimes on the radio at six o'clock.
I watched The Little Princess on tv at six o'clock,
Today watch explicit sex at six o’clock.
I was playing catch-up with my friends at six o'clock,
Today lonely children play atari at six o'clock.
I drank hot soup at six o’clock,
Today guys smoke crack at six o'clock.
I prayed to the guardian angel at six o'clock,
Today they kill people at six o'clock.
I studied algebra at six o'clock,
Today are planned crimes at six o'clock.
I was happy at six o'clock,
Today are all scared at six o'clock.

In My Room

I stand alone and watch the clock
I only wait for it to stop
And in the room locked up inside me
The cutout magazines remind me
I sit and wait alone in my room
And in my room against the wall
There is picture very small
A photograph I took some years ago
It shows a picture of the room I know
I sit and wait alone in my room
Chorus
The walls are white and in the night
The room is lit by electric light
I stand and watch the clock
I only wait for it to stop
The doors are shut and all the windows lock
The only sound is from the clock
I sit and wait alone in my room
Repeat chorus

The Outlaw Torn

And now I wait my whole lifetime for you
I ride the dirt I ride the tide for you
I search the outside search inside for you
To take back what you left me
I know I'll always burn to be
The one seeks so I may find
And now I wait my whole lifetime
My whole lifetime
The Outlaw Torn
So on I wait my whole lifetime for you
So on I wait my whole lifetime for you
The more I search the more my need for you
The more I blast the more I bleed for you
You make me smash the clock and feel
I'd rather die behind the wheel
Time was never on my side
So on I wait my whole lifetime
My whole lifetime
The Outlaw Torn
And I'm torn
Hear me

Is This

Another place another time
Another face that looks like mine
Another soul for all to see
Is this reality? ?
If I could only find the words
Im sure that they would go unheard
With one exception I can see
Is this reality . . .
Oh--if I could only make time stand still for a moment
Capture a memory--and live it one more time but I believe
That I would really change a thing
A second chance to get it right
I think the end is close at hand
I had a vision I dont understand
Dont you see--i was made for you and you for me
Close your eyes . . .
Are you ready for a big surprise
Oh--hold the clock
Say the words to make it stop
Now, slam, bam, thank you maam
Wasnt it a pleasant life we shared
Now who really cares
Why pretend you dont remember
Wipe it clean and start again
Hope to see you in the summer
Another place another time
Another face that looks like mine
Another soul for all to see
Is this . . . is this . . .

Brand New Day

Words and music by sting
How many of you people out there
Been hurt in some kind of love affair
And how many times do you swear that youll never love again?
How many lonely, sleepless nights
How many lies, how many fights
And why would you want to put yourself through all that again?
love is pain, I hear you say
Love has a cruel and bitter way
Of paying you back for all the faith you ever had in your brain
How could it be that what you need the most
Can leave you feeling just like a ghost?
You never want to feel so sad and lost again
One day you could be looking
Through an old book in rainy weather
You see a picture of her smiling at you
When you were still together
You could be walking down the street
And who should you chance to meet
But that same old smile that youve been thinking of all day
You can turn the clock to zero, honey
Ill sell the stock, well spend all the money
Were starting up a brand new day
Turn the clock all the way back
I wonder if shell take me back
Im thinking in a brand new way
Turn the clock to zero, sister
Youll never know how much I missed her
Starting up a brand new day
Turn the clock to zero, boss
The rivers wide, well swim across
Started up a brand new day
It could happen to you - just like it happened to me
Theres simply no immunity - theres no guarantee
I say loves such a force - if you find yourself in it
And sometimes no reflection is there
Baby wait a minute, wait a minute
Wait a minute, wait a minute
Wait a minute, wait a minute
Turn the clock to zero, honey
Ill sell the stock, well spend all the money
Were starting up a brand new day
Turn the clock to zero, mac
Im begging her to take me back
Im thinking in a brand new way
Turn the clock to zero, boss
The rivers wide, well swim across
Started up a brand new day
Turn the clock to zero buddy
Dont wanna be no fuddy duddy
Started up a brand new day
Im the rhythm in your tune
Im the sun and youre the moon
Im a bat and youre the cave
Youre the beach and Im the wave
Im the plow and youre the land
Youre the glove and Im the hand
Im the train and youre the station
Im a flagpole to your nation - yeah
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Stand up and be counted every boy and every girl
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Starting up a brand new day
Im the present to your future
Youre the wound and Im the suture
Youre the magnet to my pole
Im the devil in your soul
Youre the pupil Im the teacher
Youre the church and Im the preacher
Youre the flower Im the rain
Youre the tunnel Im the train
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Stand up and be counted every boy and every girl
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Starting up a brand new day
Youre the crop to my rotation
Youre the sum of my equation
Im the answer to your question
If you follow my suggestion
We can turn this ship around
Well go up instead of down
Youre the pan and Im the handle
Youre the flame and Im the candle
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Stand up and be counted every boy and every girl
Stand up all you lovers in the world
Were starting up a brand new day

Worth A Thousand Words

A picture is worth a thousand words
Yet a moment of clarity is worth worlds

A sign of kindness builds character
Yet a life of kindness makes a hero

A little magic can allow for wonders
Yet the magic all around us can make dreams come true

A hand to those in need can make the world better
Yet a whole world of hands will leave no one in need

Fill your life with wonder of your own choice, do not wait for it

In The Dark

O in the depths of midnight
What fancies haunt the brain!
When even the sigh of the sleeper
Sounds like a sob of pain.

A sense of awe and of wonder
I may never well define,--
For the thoughts that come in the shadows
Never come in the shine.

The old clock down in the parlor
Like a sleepless mourner grieves,
And the seconds drip in the silence
As the rain drips from the eaves.

And I think of the hands that signal
The hours there in the gloom,
And wonder what angel watchers
Wait in the darkened room.

And I think of the smiling faces
That used to watch and wait,
Till the click of the clock was answered
By the click of the opening gate.--

They are not there now in the evening--
Morning or noon--not there;
Yet I know that they keep their vigil,
And wait for me Somewhere.

I Don't Know

I'm nothing fancy
I'm nothing special that's true
But I know what your thinkin'
Cuz I'm thinkin' that same thing too
Now you'd like everything to go your way
And I should probably say everything you'd like me to say
But that's not me and baby that just wouldn't be you
You better watch how long you wait
Cuz baby you might wait too long

[CHORUS]
I don't know if I could make you happy
And I don't know if I could make you cry
I don't know if the clock stops at midnight
I can't see past forever but together we can fly
Together we can fly

Now let's pretend for a while that we've got no place to be
You've been broken before but baby that wasn't me
Now I'm trying to ask you to come
To that same old place that you've been runnin' from
We've been down that road
You know there's nothing to see
You better watch how long you wait
Cuz baby you might wait too

[REPEAT CHORUS]

Bay there' no use in waiting
I can see that your hopes are fading
They tell me that time is precious baby
Why do you keep wastin' time?

[REPEAT CHORUS]

I Wait To Hear The Lines Come

I WAIT TO HEAR THE LINES COME

I wait to hear the lines come
I try to listen only to what has the melody and rhythm of poetry
I wait-
I hear-
But in me deeper than myself some Silence stops my soul -
The words are the words and they can come
'But what this Life is and what I have done in it? '
Is still a question-
After all these years
And old –
Still a question-

I listen to myself
But it is not enough-
Some one else, others must want to listen also
And perhaps they never will-
I have a poem, you have a poem
But do we have Poetry?

Space Between All Things

All the walls of your house,
were painted in deep blue,
you're at that indecisive age to choose colours that reflect you,
and everything and nothing,
is in the space between all things,
that fascinates as much as it agitates,
words turn me into what I say,
as you pull your yellow stained fingers,
through your un-kept hair,
I noticed that the corners of your jeans,
were folded neatly into squares,
your thoughts are the strangest place that you've ever been,
stranger even than Los Angeles,
it's like a cinema where they never ask you to leave,
So while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
She had a north Atlantic film star grace,
that's why her tears are out of place,
that kind sadness has more style,
so nothing will make her smile,
except as soon as anything happens,
she'll drag me on the street,
and hand in hand we stand protesting,
while everyone is still asleep,
So while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
so while you wait and are you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
from fate so while you wait,
and concentrate on being as far away,
Are you wait,
are you wait,
are you wait,
are you waaait,

Father Time

(sambora, child)
Father time
I couldnt make her wanna stay
I couldnt seem to find the words to say
Now I have to live in yesterday
Father time
I thought that you were on my side
I thought that I could keep our love alive
I thought that I could keep her satisfied
The clock keeps tickin and I keep on thinkin bout you
Im knockin at the door of your heart but I cant break through
Father time
Grant me just another day
Of our love I tried to make her stay
Father time
Dont tell me its too late
All my life you know that I would wait
Father time
Now shes gone
She didnt even say goodbye
I guess she didnt have the heart to try
She didnt even have the guts to lie
Father time
Only you can turn the page
And close the curtain on this empty stage
Only you can take my pain away
My heart keeps breakin and my body keeps aching for you
Its time to hold on but theres nothin left to hold on to
Father time
Grant me just another day
Of our love I tried to make her stay
Father time
Dont tell me its too late
All my life you know that I would wait
Father time
Father, father cant you see Im depending on you
Im dying at the door to your heart and I cant break through
Father time
Grant me just another day
Of our love I tried to make her stay
Father time
Dont tell me its too late
All my life you know that I would wait
Father time
Shes your child make her mine
Father time

Wait til I Get You Home

You never cease to amaze me
You can still make me crazy
Baby you can turn me on
With just your eyes
Youre just so darn appealing
You stir up sexy feelings
Every man in the room
Would like to try you on for size
Chorus:
Wait til I get you home
Wait til I get you alone
Wait til I get my hands on you
Wait til I get you home sweet baby
Wait til I get you home
Oh baby you still make me
Feel feelins that can take me
To places where Ive never been before
Well honey Ive got a feelin
Well make some shadows on the ceilin
Tonight by candlelight behind closed doors
Chorus:
Wait til I get you home
Wait til I get you alone
Wait til I get my hands on you
Wait til I get you home sweet baby
Wait til I get you home
Your lovin gets better
Each time were together
Its always exciting and new
Each time we discover
Were still like young lovers
Its always been magic with you
Baby wait til I get you home
You just wait til I get you alone

Wait For Me

No one could ever
Keep you satisfied
And if I had a crystal ball
Id show you all the future hides
But for now
Take a little time to know me
I swear Im not stringin you along
I might be driving you crazy
But I wouldnt steer you wrong
I would steer you wrong
Chorus
Wait for me boy
If we take it slow
Well discover something greater
Wait for me boy
You know Ill give in sooner or later
Wait for me boy wait for me
You say your clock
Its running on the overtime
But you know
It takes a lot to
Get into this heart of mine
Dont you know
Ever minute the feeling gets stronger
Quick love is not my style
Hold on just a little bit longer
Ill make it worth your while
Ill make it worth your while
Chorus
Take mein your arms so near
Just hold me and Ill lose my fears
Its just a matter of time
For me and you
If you want my love
All you got to

Tick Tick Tick....!

Tick Tick Tick Tick,
Clock Ticks,
Lub dub Lub Dub heart beats,
Cycle of inhaling and exhaling
makes breath,
Pulses from unknown center has own lifetime,
keeps time for us, clock that set in
every cell schedules its life and
birth! Life is light trapped in atom,
excited electron has to fall back,
Just like life raises up and falls
back,
rhythm, wavelength and
frequency decide energy of light, local time may not match with
clock in other region,
Light travels covering space
does truly decide time?
You are the medium where light
is slowest, faster it is in different medium
and plane, Before the internal clock stops,
Sending warning alarm,
Alarm thyself, you are here not
only to know,
But also to the wish of the one
beyond light and clock, who can fix clock even in a light
photon,
can fix clock in everything,
Arise and awake before chime of
alarm,
No snooze is there in your clock, Never get yourself lost in
yawning,
No one can stay here.
when time is up!

Namaste and thank you all before
my clock ticks and buzz to say
time is up!

The Clock Keeps Ticking

I want alone to be
I want to drown in lonely sea
But the clock keeps ticking

I want to stop
I want to forever halt
But the clock keeps beating

I want to run
I want far away from land
But the clock keeps pursuing

I want to hide
I no more want to think of fight
But the clock keeps shouting

I want to rest
I want in dream hibernate
But the clock keeps breaking

I want to sing
I want to strengthen the spring
But the clock keeps shaking

I want to only follow
I no longer want to know
But the clock keeps pumping

I want to hurt
I don’t care if I should hate
But the clock keeps moving

Stranglehold

Can I get you to give me a minute of your time?
Can I get you to slip me the answer?
Can I get you to slow me a little of your mime?
You were always a very good dancer
Id be happy to show you a bit of what I found
Id be happy to share in its beauty
Id be happy to lay low inevitably bound
I would only be doing my duty.
I wait, I wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the bar
I can wait, I can wait , I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you
Stranglehold, you know youve got on me
I dont want to go without you.
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
But I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
Are you willing to wager a little of your life?
Are you willing to take such a gamble?
Are you ready to walk on the edge of the knife?
Then I think we can skip the preamble.
I wait, I wait, I can wait. I cant wait back in the bar,
I can wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you. Ill be waiting...
Stranglehold, you know, youve got on me
I dont want to go without you
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
And I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
I can wait, I can wait back in the bar I can wait, I can wait
I can wait back in the car Ill be waiting for you.
