In A World Of Nothingness You Bring Bliss (Rondel)

In a world of nothingness you bring bliss
and smile with a strange kind of beauty,
with a kind of affection in every kiss
that brightens mere discipline and duty

as life changes, changes in the way it is
while you are more than just my deputy.
In a world of nothingness you bring bliss
and smile with a strange kind of beauty,

while a earthly heaven must be like this,
where affection comes without difficulty
and together there is joy in every activity
while your sweet kindness I cannot dismiss,
in a world of nothingness you bring bliss.
