Praises to God
In perilous path, resilient on the plains of earth,
On the barren turf, where the bleach dust sow,
Iniquity planted with thorns, darkness brought forth,
Only crushed vines withered by the suns glow.
But the meek of earth sing praises within the heart,
Unto God from where blessings come; and praises go,
In celestial glow, with grace and mercy proclaim truth,
Where love blossom and the lilies of joys grow.
Distant sounds hear the sum of drums beat in heaven,
Sky high clouds carry messages coming from the heart,
Anticipating wonderful praises to God the choice given,
From cleansing souls began a journey of new birth.
To live in peace free from guilt, and proclaim harmony,
In tempted causes of life where the tame minds go,
People give praises to God and blessings accompany,
Go where joy resonates and the still waters flow.
And if earth’s society tries to keep glad pilgrims bound,
They in the court of praise ascend the rearward light,
From around the globe, to God it shines; head to womb,
And no wound from hell or hound the heel will bite.
For they are victorious in praises and the radiant beam,
Sends the gospel bells ringing across the plains of earth,
Over land and seas, places herald the wondrous gleam,
Brighter than darkness, the light proclaim liberty and truth.

O Little Town Of Bethlehem
(Philips BrooksLewis H. Redner)
O little town of Bethlehem,
How still we see the lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by;
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light;
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee to-night.
For Christ is born of Mary,
And gathered all above,
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love.
O morning stars, together
Proclaim the holy birth!
And praises sing to God the King,
And peace to men on earth.
How silently, how silently,
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of his heaven.
No ear may hear his coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him, still
The dear Christ enters in.
The hopes ans fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

Give Praises For This Day You Witness
Give praises for this day you witness,
In gratitude for those blessings...
That have come to you.
Why hesitate to await permission?
Why do that,
After all you've been through.
Yesterday with delays and impatience...
Has gone and should be erased.
No need to redo or relive a past,
For you that has dues paid at last.
Give praises for this day you witness,
In gratitude for those blessings...
That have come to you.
Who more than you deserves these gifts?
To do as you choose...
As God wishes you to do.
With faith and hope and sacrifice,
You have succeeded to achieve a peace.
It is yours to keep,
And know this is true!
Be thankful.
Give praises.
Know that God loves you!
Do not feel guilt or a selfishness.
This God for you has done.
He has chosen you to bless!

Pray to the blessed child,

Son of the mother mild;
Where charity stands watching
And faith holds wide the door,
The dark night wakes, the glory breaks,
And christmas comes once more.

Christmas Carol
Ring out, ye bells!
All Nature swells
With gladness at the wondrous story, -
The world was at lorn,
But Christ is born
To change our sadness into glory.
Sing, earthlings, sing!
To-night a King
Hath come from heaven's high throne to bless us.
The outstretched hand
O'er all the land
Is raised in pity to caress us.
Come at His call;
Be joyful all;
Away with mourning and with sadness!
The heavenly choir
With holy fire
Their voices raise in songs of gladness.
The darkness breaks
And Dawn awakes,
Her cheeks suffused with youthful blushes.
The rocks and stones
In holy tones
Are singing sweeter than the thrushes.
Then why should we
In silence be,
When Nature lends her voice to praises;
When heaven and earth
Proclaim the truth
Of Him for whom that lone star blazes?
No, be not still,
But with a will
Strike all your harps and set them ringing;
On hill and heath
Let every breath
Throw all its power into singing!

Anthem For Christmas
Words: gloria gaither
Music: michael w. smith
In the space of the beginning
Was the living word of light
When this word was clearly spoken
All that came to be was right
All creation had a language
Words to say what must be said
All day long the heavens whispered
Signing words in scarlet red
Some failed to understand it
So God spoke his final word
On a silent night in judahs
Hills a babys cry was heard
Glory! sang the angel chorus
Glory! echoed back the night
Love has come to walk among us
Christ the lord is born this night
All creation sing his praises
Earth and heaven praise his name
All who live come join the chorus
Find the words his love proclaim
Find the words his love proclaim

Lord, I Lift Your Name on High - Hillsong
(men)
Lord, I lift Your name on high,
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad Your in my life,
I'm so glad You came to save us.
(Chorus)
You came from heaven to earth,
To show the way,
From the earth to the cross,
My debt to pay,
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
(ladies)
Lord, I lift Your name on high,
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in life,
I'm so glad You came to save us.

Triumph Over Tragedy
Darkness descends upon the Earth
And souls are lost like sheep
And evil's spawned from death to birth,
Its destiny to creep.
The ancient stars bear witness to
The prophecies of old
And in one twinkling share a clue
Of what will yet unfold.
The brazen man with magic hands
Condemns the souls unsaved,
Such that each mind misunderstands
How Mankind's sins are waived.
Rejecting every golden truth,
The blindness grows inside
And though this wretch seems but a youth,
His heart's crammed full with pride.
His coldness freezes every thought
That God could thus inspire
And so this smiling fool gets caught
Within the lake of fire.
He rules the Earth, yet he's the king
Of cruelties and more.
They chant his name and praises sing
And yet he breaks God's law.
Darkness descends and blood must flow
As war leads men astray,
Till lightning stretches to and fro
And God's sheep fly away.
The deadly years must run their course
Till God's grace intervenes -
To bring new light through opened doors
With holiness that cleans.
It's then that love creates new friends,
Forgiven one by one,
When every soul on Earth depends
Upon God's chosen Son...

The Ways Of Nature
Never seen a musk duck or little grebe on land in water they seem happy to stay
They are water birds in the true sense since that seems their natural way
Can't even say I have seen them flying though 'tis said they do fly by those in the know
I have so much to learn about Nature and my wonder of her only grow
One could live for hundreds of centuries and of Nature not know everything
She is amazing our Earth Mother and her praises one cannot help but sing
I've never witnessed foxes mating though like all canines they do mate
Perhaps at night under the cloak of darkness in heavy cover they copulate
Their cubs the proof of their secret meetings whilst the Human world is asleep
The Wildborn creatures of Nature their secrets from us they do keep
The unrivalled beauty of Nature we see around us everywhere
But she guards her secrets with secrecy and with us them never will share
And so much to love about in Nature the artists and writers she inspire
And of singing the Earth Goddess praises I do feel one never could tire.

Today... 'Jehovah, The God of all mankind
The vastness of the universe He holds within His hands
and time throughout eternity keeps all of His commands.
Omnipotent in His power and wonderful in His ways
He is the Lord God Almighty, the Ancient of Days.
Enthroned in glorious splendour is Jehovah the Lord
Creator of earth and heaven by His life giving word.
Who can tell of His majesty or can tell of His might?
For He Who inhabits the heavens is surrounded in light.
Unchanging and unchangeable He's forever the same
all the angels sing His praises and His glory proclaim.
So splendid in His holiness and awesome in His ways
Jehovah, God of all mankind is worthy of our praise.

So Many Like You
You tell everyone of your greatness of how wonderful you think you are
And they wink behind your back when you tell them of your recent big buy your brand new car
They look on you as rather boastful since your own praises you only sing
In self esteem you are not lacking and that in itself is a good thing,
Those you tell your success stories to their own success stories only like to tell
They are not sincere in their praises when they tell you that you have done well
You do not understand that many others are like you their own success stories they like to relate
And though out of politeness they say you have done well
they do not really think you are great
Many like to tell of their own successes and of the successes of others would rather not hear
For many into self promotion or at least that's how it does appear
So many like you have big egos and for to promote themselves are not shy
And why they sing their own praises to others is not hard to understand why
Since we live in the age of the aspirational so many to greatness aspire
And only those who are seen to be successful are people that others admire.

Psalm 98 part 2
The Messiah's coming and kingdom.
Joy to the world! the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare him room,
And heav'n and nature sing.
Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ,
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains,
Repeat the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make his blessings flow
Far as the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousness,
And wonders of his love.

Psalm LXXII: Great God
Great God, whose universal sway
The known and unknown worlds obey,
Now give the kingdom to thy Son,
Extend his power, exalt his throne.
The scepter well becomes his hands;
All heaven submits to his commands;
His justice shall avenge the poor,
And pride and rage prevail no more.
With power he vindicates the just,
And treads the oppressor in the dust:
His worship and his fear shall last
Till the full course of time be past.
As rain on meadows newly mown,
So shall he send his influence down:
His grace on fainting souls distils,
Like heavenly dew on thirsty hills.
The heathen lands, that lie beneath
The shades of overspreading death,
Revive at his first dawning light;
And deserts blossom at the sight.
The saints shall flourish in his days,
Decked in the robes of joy and praise;
Peace, like a river, from his throne
Shall flow to nations yet unknown.
Jesus shall reign where'er the Sun
Doth his successive journeys run;
His kingdom stretch from shore to shore,
Till suns shall rise and set no more.
For him shall endless prayer be made,
And praises throng to crown his head;
His name like sweet perfume shall rise
With every morning sacrifice.
People and realms of every tongue
Dwell on his love with sweetest song;
And infant voices shall proclaim
Their young Hosannas to his name.
Blessings abound where'er he reigns;
The prisoner leaps to lose his chains;
The weary find eternal rest;
And all the sons of want are blest.
Where he displays his healing power,
Death and the curse are known no more:
In him the tribes of Adam boast
More blessings than their father lost.
Let every creature rise, and bring
Its grateful honors to our King;
Angels descend with songs again,
And earth prolong the joyful strain.
