Fragrants of my heart

Scooping up the dyed pieces dried stiff,
From the burning sun that is yet young,
Swift time command that nothing be lost,
And took faith to where the wind has blown.

Our dreams and hopes away from the course,
To collect all the fragments our thoughts own,
In burning pain, when residue silence eclipse,
The forlorn path our marred visage has worn.

We look at defeat with pools of citadel eyes,
Arch back determine to complete the sentence,
And remember how love was like a daunting quiz,
Where youthful time and words made no sense.

And having found too, my heart was broken,
Just as those brunt pieces became blunt,
I stoop to mend, in borrowed feelings began,
Slowly to collect the fragments of my heart.

And close emotions where other doors open,
For a new entrance into my shrouded soul,
Betrayal bruises the air with every breath taken,
Fragments of our lives throughout the world.

Trail with participle phrase and Reciprocate,
Against the wretched barriers and angry fire,
In lonely afterthought every pain fixes the subordinate,
Until winding time became the only obvious healer.

Scattered in the floor
Of our past
I am bound
And my hands are dying

By bitterness and pain
I am a broken bone
My heart is maimed

The Fragments Of My Life....

so many fragments of my life
scattered on the floor

on the skies they were taken
by the wind

to the oceans they were pressed
by the rain

there were risings and fallings
there were so many fillings

i always move on
not bothering to pick them up

i cut myself into pieces again
time after time
into more countless fragments

i do not bother those parts
those sheddings

for they are no longer mine
but for the world

and then the last fragment was taken away
and i am left with nothing

and then the perfection was done
i am from nothing and to nothing i must go

Among The Ashes

In among the ashes
of your old love letters
the fragments of your
contemptuous love lay.
The hopes that were dashed
when the chips were down.
The dreams that you abandoned
in the games you played.
In among the ashes
of your old love letters
the fragments of your
flirtatious heart lay.
The constant cheating
that brought our stronghold down.
The flames now licking wounds
of your constant forays.
In among the ashes
of your old love letters
the fragments of what
could have been lay.
Instead, I’m burning bridges
putting the past and you behind.
Burning your old love letters
that you left behind
to taunt and remind me
of the love I thought was mine.
Now the ashes I scatter to the four winds
and the place to where you might have gone
abandoning home and family
for just another fling.

So much pain

SO MUCH PAIN - I want to cry
SO MUCH PAIN - I want to die
SO MUCH PAIN - Why no goodbye?
SO MUCH PAIN - I need to scream
SO MUCH PAIN - It is extreme
SO MUCH PAIN - Up my bloodstream
SO MUCH PAIN - Is this a dream!

Yes! I feel so much pain
It hurts, It hurts and it hurts

I loved you as I hold your hand
I wish you can see and understand
Open your eyes I command
Don't leave me I demand

Yes! I feel so much pain
It hurts, It hurts and it hurts

But it is too late!
To set things straight
Too late to reverse the hate
Too late to descend upon faith

My tears will flow carelessly no more
Hope cannot restore what I had before
My heart is broken beyond pieces of broken pieces
Left now are only souvenirs of unforgettable kisses

How can I live this life again?
Like a passing wind you've made your exit
I bow my head to the ground in defeat
So much pain has once more overwhelmed me again

Sceletons Of Society

Minutes seem like days
Since fire ruled the sky
The rich became the beggars
And the fools became the wise
Memories linger in my brain
Of burning from the acid rain
A pain I never have won

Nothing here remains
No future and no past
No one could foresee
The end that came so fast
Hear the prophet make his guess
That paradise lies to the west
So join his quest for the sun

Shades of death are all I see
Fragments of what used to be

The world slowly decays
Destruction fills my eyes
Harboring the image
Of a spiraling demise
Burning winds release they fury
Simulating judge and jury
Drifting flurries of pain

Deafening silence reigns
As twilight fills the sky
Eventual supremacy
Daylight waits to die
Darkness always calls my name
A pawn in this recurring game
Humanity going insane

Shades of death are all I see

Blown With The Wind

You have taken my heart in your hands...
At first you were very gentle with it
But now you have left me with absolutely nothing
Nothing but a broken heart and shattered promises
Every commit you made had been broken
The wind is my sole witness...
For they carry with them all your lies and false dreams
Now I don't know if I could ever trust you again
For so long I waited and kept you in my heart
I never thought you would do anything to cause me hurt
I thought you loved me, at least that's what you claimed.
Then why am I sitting here all by myself?
And why am I having to put the broken pieces back?
Now you tell me if you want another chance...
How can I trust you again, to be true and sincere
You took me in once, twice, thrice, but let me go...
We were in love at least that's what it seemed
If that is what you think love is then, I don't want it!
Yes I loved you, I still do and I always will
But your love isn't unconditional like mine
You seem to fall in and out of love easy, at least you did with me.
So how do I know if you will carry my heart
Like it is fine china that you cherish?
You did really good at breaking my heart the first time
Then the second, then the third...I lost count
I've yet to collect pieces bit by bit
Can you put the memories back to make me complete?

*This is a narrative poem better off said than written, I wanted to convey its message, wanted it flow freely without minding the technical aspects...that's what we called, expression.

Fragments Of Hope (song)

Broken

See my soul bleed across the ages.
My heart broken into a thousand pieces,
Ground into dust and blown ascoss eternity.
Caught up in the fragments of time,
That shall echo throughout the ages.
Forever calling out in excuisite pain,
Growing a never ending sorrow.
That shall weep throughout forever,
For my foolish nightmares have met reality.
And love stumbles like a battered memory,

A Heart Broken Into Pieces

piecing together the broken pieces
takes so much of my time
this heart is broken and the pieces
shattered pieces
are too tiny to be pieced again
i am a very impatient man
on love
on matter of the heart
i give up, i cannot piece the broken pieces again
too much pain
guess what? i have just thrown my heart away
look at me?
my eyes are calm, my body stable
pierce my skin with a needle

The Fairytale

Contentment is only an elusion, mass delusion,
A fairytale: that comforts us wretched ones
We who suffer through this human existence.
Daily trying to go the distance.

We continue to dream our beautiful dreams,
Create get rich Schemes
Destroying our self esteems
Our soul cries and screams…..

The Fairytale will not wipe away the tears.
Mend a broken heart and dispel our hidden fears.
Nor heal your tormented spirit, after it has been torn apart.
Your mind in fragments, about to depart.

But then, through the blinding darkness of your pain,
There shines the light of hope, lit with a tiny grain of faith.

Splintering Heart

My soul is lost...

At times my soul seems stripped of hope
Thought's of doubt strangle my mind like a rope
When the dreams of life seem they've been betrayed
Blown to pieces from an emotional grenade

Defenses breached it seems like the end
Yet my heart is strong and it shall mend
When all is lost and shattered into pieces
A new contract I write upon one of life's leases

So I shall walk around with my new happy face
A mask that can hide all of my past disgrace
If god truly lives why isn't he kinder
When all we see is his heavy handed minder

Masks daily the beauty of our mother earth

Detached, segregated,

Extant fragments of an ancient
Document written on stone,

Missing some fragments of
Myself hidden, and you will
Not find them, too many fragments
like lice in a native woman's
hair spreading on her head

I place them where

You presume too much
To know me to love me,

Along this line, so many parts

my right ear, my left eye

So many parts severed, perhaps

Simple Thoughts

Simple thoughts
Simple minds
Draw up the curtain blinds
Lets see what is inside

A long weary journey home
built in a city far from Rome
With each gear the thoughts accelerate
Dreading the point when home is near

Shortly they disintegrate into fragments
Framents of love
Fragments of hope
Fragments of light in
the middle of night
Fragments of a peaceful bed
To rest ones tired swollen body
from a days work
after been well fed

They disintegrate into
Fragments of a night drink
All the bitterness and sorrow
can now sink
The mind can no longer think
