George Meredith

The Discipline Of Wisdom

Rich labour is the struggle to be wise,
While we make sure the struggle cannot cease.
Else better were it in some bower of peace
Slothful to swing, contending with the flies.
You point at Wisdom fixed on lofty skies,
As mid barbarian hordes a sculptured Greece:
She falls. To live and shine, she grows her fleece,
Is shorn, and rubs with follies and with lies.
So following her, your hewing may attain
The right to speak unto the mute, and shun
That sly temptation of the illumined brain,
Deliveries oracular, self-spun.
Who sweats not with the flock will seek in vain
To shed the words which are ripe fruit of sun.

Wonderful Dreams

Wonder is the brain of dreams, the wearing of wisdom,
The highest praise, a negative positivity, a live wire.
Wondered were they who survived the annual struggle,
Their wonders never finish, never do they conclude into struggle;
Fellowship has an absurd appearance from the wonder
We have witnessed from mouth and nose, foot and hand;
Struggle has never powerfully affected us to wonder,
Rather the marvel of a day is like the astonishment of the year,
What of the month? It cries from patience and toil, but no wonder
Has arrived.
Truth argues us to live in the days of the year to wonder.

Written at Lovere, 1755

Wisdom, slow product of laborious years,
The only fruit that life's cold winter bears;
Thy sacred seeds in vain in youth we lay,
By the fierce storm of passion torn away.
Should some remain in a rich gen'rous soil,
They long lie hid, and must be rais'd with toil;
Faintly they struggle with inclement skies,
No sooner born than the poor planter dies.

Man Has To Struggle

(Van Morrison)
Man makes his money and they call him rich
Deep down inside he knows that life's still a bitch
Man tries to keep things but they're taken away
Man has to struggle all the live long day
Man has to sweat and toil his life filled with trouble
Man got to step and fetch it on the double
Man has to work so hard to make it all pay
Man has to struggle all the live long day
Man keeps on moving 'cos he can t keep still
Man has to set his goals and climb up the hill
Man sees the mountains and the deep blue sky
Man has to struggle till the day that he die
Well yes siree Bob them there's the breaks
That's how it is my friend don't make no mistake
Man has to take some action all of the time
Man by his nature's never satisfied
Man just can't vegetate no matter what they say
Man has to make it all the live long day
Man has to create karma that s the way that it is
Man has to keep on going way beyond his will
Man has to keep on being cos there s nothing else
And man just always has to go for himself
Take all the gurus when they meditate
Transcend the mundane into some altered state
You just might get there, but you'll have to pay
Man's got to struggle all the live tong day
Well yes siree now Bob them there's the breaks
That s how it is my friend don't make no mistake
Man has to watch the weather and the food that he eats
Man has to keep fit else he's prone to disease
No matter what he does there's stress every which way
Man has to struggle all the live long day
Man is in conflict with his natural self
Man has to suppress his own desires and instincts
Man has to work so hard to keep them at bay
Man has to struggle all the l

Respect The Struggle

Respect the struggle
Strive to prevail
Stop wondering
What’s fake or real
Respect the hustle
You can not fail
Get on your feet
Let your spirit set sail
Respect the hard times
For what they are worth
They teach us a lot
But they indeed do hurt
Respect the real
Ignore the fake
The fake will take
What you worked hard, to make
Respect the wise
For they kno wisdom
When they breathe no longer
Do not forget them
Respect the game
Even if you don’t win
You have to learn to lose
In order to win
Respect the dignity
That no one can take
Be strong
Sooo you won’t break
Respect the process
Of life it’s self
Whether poor or rich
Life is a gift
But when it get’s hard
It’s almost cursed
Respect the rewards
For working hard
But don’t let that
Taint who you are
Respect the struggle of
Life’s a bitter sweet curse
But you can turn that around
And make it a blessing in the works
That feels sooo good
It needs no words
My friend,
This is the end of my
Bitter sweet words

Sometimes We Know That We Are Here

sometimes
this is what they say
sometimes

we know that we are both
here
together
yet we prefer
to respect our silence

we extend it further
maybe

may be even deeper
like the blue ocean
refusing
to talk to the river

they all look forward
to bluer clouds
and sunny skies

and for these
what is the need of words?

what is the need of
the struggle
to speak? it is the silence that

makes some bonds
stronger

sometimes, they always say that,
sometimes

some time, we may like
it like this way
mute and yet so revealing

Two Kinds of Wisdom

Words of wisdom can indeed, speak to the heart’s most inner need,
But you must be aware my friend, where words take you in the end.
For earthly wisdom can mislead, the heart seeking an earthly need.
While wisdom sent from up above, guides you in God’s perfect love.

Wisdom comes from many schools, some are wise, some are fools,
Even teachings that sound wise, could be packaged in eternal lies.
Earthly wisdom tells you friend, don’t be concerned about your end,
Just live your life for number one, fill each day with pleasure and fun.

Godly wisdom fills you with love, while keeping your mind up above,
God helps you each day to live, knowing that you have more to give.
Worldly wisdom says fill your life, with things that cause much strife.
It tells you to grab the biggest toy, but in the end you’ll have no joy.

Godly wisdom through sacrifice, prepares you for your Eternal Life.
With this wisdom men shall see, Jesus Christ as they enter Eternity.
In the end all worldly wisdom, to the Truth of God it shall succumb.
When men try embracing The Son, He will say what’s done is done.

All the worldly wisdom down here, has no room for The Lord, I fear,
With the wisdom they think wise, the Lord we love, they just despise.
The same Lord who we hold dear, has let us know His return is near,
And Godly wisdom fixes our eyes, upon Christ without any comprise.

Shining Stars

When I look at the stars.

I look at dreams.

I wish sometimes that I could purchase.

Stars I wish I could touch.

So I can spark and shine like them.

Shoot across the skies that enlightens our eyes.

See my ancestors that speak the words of the wise.

Nothing but the truth, but no lies

I am trying to go for all highs.

But no lows, because I am trying to climb to the stars and soar.

Where I can overcome from the lions and a bears that roar.

But howl like the spirit of a wolf.

Not diving off a cliff.

But seeing the clear truth not as a myth.

To get it how I live in this life to gain more wisdom.

To get success as a shine like a star over the shore.

Reflecting my shine from the mirror of a river.

As my view gets realer by seeing the face of my father's father.

Like simba I just want to be a lion king or Martin Luther King.

With a dream.

To find success for gold medals like a dream team.

In order to deserve, we must pay our dues and steadily work for perfection. We must relish in struggle, and relinquish pride. We must dispel fear and seek enlightenment. We must shun division and honor love. We must know our hearts and seek to understand others. We must try, live, create, feel, grow and love.

Sestina

I wandered o'er the vast green plains of youth,
And searched for Pleasure. On a distant height
Fame's silhouette stood sharp against the skies.
Beyond vast crowds that thronged a broad highway
I caught the glimmer of a golden goal,
While from a blooming bower smiled siren Love.

Straight gazing in her eyes, I laughed at Love,
With all the haughty insolence of youth,
As past her bower I strode to seek my goal.
'Now will I climb to glory's dizzy height, '
I said, ' for there above the common way
Doth pleasure dwell companioned by the skies.'

But when I reached that summit near the skies,
So far from man I seemed, so far from Love-
'Not here, ' I cried, 'doth Pleasure find her way, '
Seen from the distant borderland of youth.
Fame smiles upon us from her sun-kissed height,
But frowns in shadows when we reach the goal.

Then were mine eyes fixed on that glittering goal,
Dear to all sense-sunk souls beneath the skies.
Gold tempts the artist from the lofty height,
Gold lures the maiden from the arms of Love,
Gold buys the fresh ingenuous heart of youth,
'And gold, ' I said, 'will show me Pleasure's way.'

But ah! the soil and discord of that way,
Where savage hordes rushed headlong to the goal,
Dead to the best impulses of their youth,
Blind to the azure beauty of the skies;
Dulled to the voice of conscience and of love,
They wandered far from Truth's eternal height.

Then Truth spoke to me from that noble height,
Saying: 'Thou didst pass Pleasure on the way,
She with the yearning eyes so full of Love,
Whom thou disdained to seek for glory's goal.'
Two blending paths beneath God's arching skies
Lead straight to Pleasure. Ah, blind heart of youth,
Not up fame's height, not toward the base god's goal,
Doth Pleasure make her way, but 'neath calm skies
Where Duty walks with Love in endless youth.

A sacrifice once again

You did it once again
It was not for position to regain
It was pure sacrifice
We sincerely mourn your demise

Your are brave soldiers of holy land
You considered foe as friends
You were deployed there to protect the frontier
You were deployed there as soldier

We all slept here with peace
You were torn there in pieces
Daily some of you were dying
It was willingness for laying

You were paid from treasury
You had all pains and misery
How much hardship and difficult way?
We had glimmer of hope and ray

O, brave sons of the soil
You stand there for enemy’s attempts to foil
You live under constant fear and fire
We have no words for you to admire

What else can we do for you?
Is it not equally right and true?
We can see the reason through
You are there not for us to woo

You have opted to stay there
You could stay in comforts here
You have all the freedom to go else where
You have chosen that path true and fair

Nation may remember your true service
No words can supplement or suffice
It is only your dedication that may speak
You are strong and not merely weak

You have all the options open
You can come back and life re open
It will be possible only when
Peace and tranqulity prevails then

We speak true words from our heart
For you it maybe beginning or start
There lies complete open path
There is always danger and bloodbath

How many bullets may be piercing through?
How many may be incapacitated too
It is daily scene of the day
There lies dangerous way

We don’t hesitate to pass the remark
Nation may be poised to embark
It may scale new heights with glory
The page may be re written with different story

You blood may not go in vain
It will always be our pride main
You will rule and guide our destiny
We have attained freedom after great struggle or mutiny

You may shine in sky as bright star
You may remain with us and not so far
You may twinkle there and inspire
We have no words except to admire

You may live long as stars and sky
Our land and sky will be open to fly
It is your valiant effort and try
We raise our head with pride and not feel shy

Alone once more

It is quite a struggle when you live alone,
You don’t know who to call upon when alone,
You don’t know who to love when you’re alone once more.

I wish I’m not in the struggle I am right now,
It’s making me cry with loneliness,
I wish I was happy with love in the air,
Once alone once more

Wish I was not alone much more,
As it is a struggle for any one who is alone,
Once more.

Struggles

Is the struggle what it is?
Is it my own struggle to begin?
What do i struggle to obtain,
As I learn from those in pain?
What is this pain, I hear and see,
Could it be another, who sturggles to see?
Again, I ask what struggle is this,
That stirs my soul to NEVER quit?

When Disparities Are Exposed

I am a writer.
Not a combat fighter.
I choose to use my mind for thought.
And not to collect schemes to manipulate,
With teachings learned to others taught.

I have ambitions to ascend up and beyond,
Those trenches and pits...
Others sit with a searching for fresh conflicts.
As if they have a life purpose determined to journey...
To either start them or add fire to ensure they exist.

I have a tool I use and proud to have.
And bitter and sometimes sweet are my deliveries.

But never will I preach a hatred.
Nor deception will I seek.
And if I should encounter either...
The best I will do to crush them under my feet.
Since keeping my love and peace intact,
Will be done by using methods that are not beneath me.

I am a writer not a combat fighter.
However...
My cheeks are not made for turning.
Nor are my eyes or mouth meant,
To keep them shut and closed.
Both will open when disparities are exposed.

I have a tool I use and proud to have.
And bitter and sometimes sweet are my deliveries.
I'm just that kind of guy!
Although I don't make claims to be wise.
I am too proactive to allow that to be admitted.
And yet there is a wisdom I can't deny or disguise.

All of us are trying to achieve 100 percent in our work. That's all we struggle to do. We never do, but we never stop trying until the day we die. It's that struggle to achieve 100 percent, that's where our performance lies, that's what the audience gets. They get the struggle.

Justice Peace Truth & Love

For justice, truth and peace to flow
Love too has fruit to bear
United must become all four
And practiced everywhere

True justice cannot stand alone
It needs of truth and peace
When love becomes the corner stone
Sweet fruit will never cease

Let's drink The Truth as sweet old wine
Let love live not in vane
Mix justice now with peace divine
Allow harmony reign

For justice without love is nought
Peace without truth’s a lie
Until the world this fact is taught
Condemned she’s bound to die

To facts of life she must be wise
Her children need to see
Until they look with open eyes
Salvation cannot be

When truth and peace they understand
When love becomes her root
When justice lifts her outstretched hand
She’ll bear the sweetest fruit

Let candour be a constant guide
Integrity wear a crown
Impartiality reign inside
With love as wedding gown

Allow love’s wisdom steadfast rule
Truth’s knowledge change one’s heart
Let peace become our daily tool
Let justice play her part

Serve Fresh Bread Daily (1)

Anointed has a priest to be
Through holy oil the truth to see
Secrets of God they understand
Revealed to them in Jesus’ hand

But some still try to preach of sin
Without God’s Holy Ghost within
Using sweet words none to offend
They’ll only speak of God as friend

A God who’s heart’s so full of peace
His grace and love will never cease
They’ll take great care to choose each word
An angry God is seldom heard

With such stale bread they’ll feed God’s church
No wonder sheep through hunger search
For pastures green, by Jesus led
To a priest not spiritually dead

No priest should preach to fill their purse
Otherwise they’ll reap God’s curse Eze.34: 2
If Christ The Lord we’ll truly please
We’ll seek His face upon our knees

No child of God is mocked for long
Eating stale bread, washed down with song
The Lord sees well His children’s plight
From these shepherds, they’ll take their flight

So priest of God be not deceived
Speak the truth so God’s not grieved
Give through His Son your spiritual best
Then stand aside; He’ll do the rest

When called, you’ll know these words are true
That God awaits much fruit from you –Jn.15: 2
So from the flock that none should fall
Let’s make The Lord our one and all…PTO…
