Struggles And Pain
The struggle, the pain,
When will it end?
How much more can I take of this?
How many times must I be tested?
How many time is it till I am wise?
I am a girl with a huge heart, and
I cry for others when it isn't my part.
I struggle with emotions and doubts;
What is wrong with me?
What's that about?
I want to be strong in everything,
but so far I feel as if I have acomplished nothing!
Somedays I feel, I hate this place
but all I do is ask for God's grace.
Some times my faith isn't strong,
and I feel this world is way too tough!
It is hard not to give up and succeed in a harsh place
of races varieties.
So whatever happens to me today,
I'll just face it with struggle and pain.
But I know that there is a purpose for the stuggling,
and I will find the meaning in it...

Not MySelf
Today is just another day full of pain and hate,
What is wrong with me why I am like this why am I so comfused,
I am not me,
This girl I see in mirror who is staring back at me and all I see is sorrow in the eyes,
Do you see what I see,
Can you feel the pain I feel,
Why do I feel like this,
Why do I feel so alone,

A Strong Mind and a Gentle Heart
I was on top of the mountain looking down,
There you were, stuck on the ground,
In life I had it all, never had to crawl,
If there was beauty, it was all around me,
Sunset glowing against a purple sky,
Why did I feel like I had to cry?
I saw your hand waving down below,
In my throat a lump began to grow,
The pain in my heart knew,
I have been missing you!
So where to now?
What will Grace allow?
You struggle up towards me,
Trying to break free from the hands,
Hands that hold you back,

Painful Memories
He is so lonely.
Feeling like he in a dead place.
Like a cemetery without no grass.
And tombstones of people that he knew from the past.
In the past hisfriend got shot in a drive by in a car that was shattered in broken glass.
But he has a girl that he loves all his life
The love never last.
He was driving in traffic.
And almost ended up in a crash.
Life can hit you hard when you lose somebody close.
And it hurts the most.
Love and hate is what surrounds us in this world and also fate.
He wish he could have his friend back and his girlfriend back.
But only thing is, he have to be strong and move on.
He thinks if he could paint a picture of his feelings.
It would be beautiful art.
The pain he feels is like a ocean.
He looks up in the sky and he saw a raindropp came down watching god cry.
He understands that the lord can feel our pain too.
He understands of being alive and being a man to understand life.
He understands being true.
He understand we can't cry out snow.
Because it would make it a cold world.
He understand he would struggle in life like being hit by hail.
He knows If he cries.
He hopes to sail.
All the pain he has inside.
He cry and flood a field.
But love always kills.

No Turning Back
when it seems like life on you
has turned its back
and against you the cards are stacked.
when it seems you need a friend
and there is no hand outstretched to lend.
when you feel it's time to conceed
and there's no one there to fill your needs.
that is when you turn to GOD.
it is not very hard.
we all have times when we feel alone
but my strength has always shown.
for i put my faith in GOD above
for he gives us all his love.
when we feel like we're walking
down a dead end street
and we don't seem to find relief.
that is when you stop to pray
and ask the lord to lead the way.
and when you feel that your
heart has hardened to all around

then again you stop and pray

Afterthought...
Day to day struggle of living
Somebody smokes, somebody drinks,
somebody eats, somebody sleeps
Ongoing humdrum of activities
You get tired of working, yet drudge along
You have fears - the fear of dying, wasting away, disintegrating...
There you are - running helter-skelter in the race of millions
To make a place for yourself - to feel secure
You love somebody, you hate some...
Copulating with someone, caring for some, yet thwarting others
Lovely weather, sordid weather, pain and pleasure -
They come and go by - ain't mean anything to some,
yet meaning 'a whole world' to others
At times we look towards God and ask:
'anything wrong? anything a-miss? '
Then a myriad of imaginations flow by:
Imagine HIM smiling, imagine HIM smirking at you,
Imagine HIM forgiving you
And then you make some sense (OR no sense at all)
of what's really happening on this blessed earth...

Authenticity
I have this struggle with authenticity;
it pounds away at my consciousness,
I'm not really comfortable anywhere
and don't have much to say,
feel most alive
when over-emoting
or when yelling or screaming
being resentful too
feels better
than not being anything at all.
Some times I dip my oar

but refuse to row;
click on my passive face
and try not to count in the world;

Lost and Confuse In My Thoughts
i see guys as just wanting one thing,
sex,
it's seem to be all they think about,
and all they want from a girl,
don't know why i continue to punish myself,
i know i don't deserve this,
but at the same time,
i love the high that i get,
maybe that why i'm not relationship materal,
i can't handle being with just one guy,
i need to feel alive in the relationship,
and just having that one that cares for me,
start to feel suffocating at times,
they know all about you,
your good and your bad,
well i even share that much,
at times i feel like i'm living,
two different lives,
one where i be this perfect girlfriend,
nothing bothers me,
i know what i want kind of person,
than the other life is,
i'm anything you like,
personality and all,
i become there dream girl,
transform into what guys like,
the dream world seems so much better than reality,
reality has too many problems,
i hate being this girl,
i feel like a girl that got lost,
when she was trying to find her way through life,
confused, lonely, used,

and yet it's a life, i continue to live,

I keep looking for a place to fit
