Bharat appear
Bharat appear if I am here.
Bharat is there in my blood.
Born in Bharat but not seen Bharat.
Bharat is with me while I am on the street.
The light the air the earth the water
The moon the sun the star
As well as the heaven not far.

Bharat Versus India
India that is Bharat
Is not same as
Bharat that is India.
Bharat no more with India
India no more with Bharat
India can not substitute Bharat.
I am insearch of Bharat
And Bharat is no more with me.
I am an Indian
And I am proud to be an Indian.

Wo Bharat Hame Jaan Se Pyara
Bahti jahan gyan ki dhara
wo bharat hame jaan se pyara
seeta ram ki dharti hai jo
aisa bharat desh hamara
Hai bharat ki shaan tiranga
isse na ghukne denge ham
veeron ki kurbani ko
vartha na jane denge ham
Na jaati na bhasha dekha
sabko apna meet banaya
ho bangladesh ya pakistan
hamne sabko gale lagaya
di sharan hamne sabko
jab koi hai sankat aaya
bhookhe rahkar bhi hamne
padhosee ko khana khilaya
bharat ma ke sewak hain ham
maa ki raksha ham karenge
buri neeyat se jo dekhega
''deep'' uska anta karenge

Death
Death is a pleasant term!
Yes is normal course
Leave this world for a better world
All the experience pays
The breathing ones always talk of your deeds, but good
For them the void will never be bridged
Normal death is an ideal
In our holy Bharat
In our holy Bharat
Satan is all pervading.
His, His arms have been cut
His senses rust
Then why give him so much thrust
To bear all the brunt
Pray not for him, built not for him
Hypocrisy is all this
Pray for your actions
Pray for your work
Pray for your natural death
So pleasant in the end.

60th Republic Day Celebrations in India (Jan 26th 2010)
Unfurl the tricolor flag, Indians!
And hoist it high upon the mast;
And let it move in freedom’s wind;
And make the country, Indians, proud!
Salute the national flag, Indians!
And sing the song of freedom’s love!
Remember how freedom was won
By Fighters’ Struggle, sacrifice!
Pray for the lives lost in the fight,
And emulate their examples;
Learn to be patriotic more,
And do your duty with fervor.
Take oath to serve our motherland;
Bharat is home of Indians;
We love its varied heritage;
All Indians are our fellowmen!
Let’s foster love, peace, harmony;
Let’s make the country better still;
Let’s unite against terrorism;
Let’s make India, a nation strong!
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!

On This Day...
white ants have been at it
while some other breathing beings
have been excavating the earth
underneath the mast...
yet, every year
in a ritual you, i and all
stand in solemn salutation
and in unison cry:
'mera bharat mahaan! '
jaihind!

Republic Day Anniversary Celebration In India,2012
IRT PMC, PMCH, RTS & SoN, Perundurai
The day, we know this land is ours, our own;
The day we say all Indians are brethren;
The day we love our motherland, more than our lives;
That day, our freedom, we have truly won!
Let Indians all have just one heart;
Let’s love the soil in which we are born;
Let’s live in unity as one;
Let integrity glow brighter than sun!
Let’s remember the lives all lost,
For getting freedom at blood-cost;
Let’s preserve what with toil, they got;
Let pride not leave our land to rot!
On this great day, let’s all rejoin;
Let’s do our duty selflessly;
Let’s thank and pray to Almighty,
To guide us to heaven, safely.

Poet’s Death-wish
My poetic pen ruptured
the petite pink hymen
of the onion-skinned virgin paper
and an ink-stained poem lies
naked, without her fig leaf…
I’m about to be put to death for
my inadvertent insanity!
Anyway, before my execution,
let me stalk death that has haunted me
in the fearful emerald jungles!
Before I am hanged in the endless early hours of dawn.
permit me to -
poison a petite poetry
crush a creative couplet,
slay a stylish sonnet,
exterminate an emotional elegy,
hara-kiri a humble haiku,
burn a boisterous ballad
kill a kaleidoscopic kavita,
slaughter a simple shayari,
guillotine a graceful ghazal…
Or fulfill my death wish and
let me scrawl a poignant parting poem
on the stone-walls of my death cell
with my tortured bloody fingers,
before the executioner pulls the rope of my gallows
chocking my black clothed sweaty face
till my eyes bulge out,
till my panting tongue put to rest.
My immobile body will vanish
under the blanket of incense-filled velvety nights,
while my soul will lie awake
dreaming those aquamarine dreams
on heavenly blue satin sheets of the sky
embedded with zillion twinkling stars…

Reflections-11
1 Earth
Good dietician
One fourth mud three fourth water
Fresh, kept up green chaste
2 Land
God-made home for man
Oh, man made Satan invades
Land-made life slumping
3 Soil
Monsoon's friend lush green
Carpeted soil-spread healthy
Beasts dwell happily
4 Bharat
India's prologue
Great grand ancestral expanse
History's proud sigh

Lamentation on Lost Love...
The shrill serenades
drifting from flutist’s clarinet
rush to dance with the rhythmic beats of the wedding drums.
Festoons of golden marigolds bound with mango-green leaves
auspiciously dangle at the decorated doors.
Tear smudged pearl-drops drip from your hazel eyes
and rivulets of kohl streaming down your rosy cheeks
moisten your henna-adorned hands,
while pantomime-faced guests flock to witness
the ceremonial wedding of two strangers
Dressed in glittering gold-dusted wedding robes,
he will arrive on a galloping white-maned mare.
and will lead you to take matrimonial vows,
while your dainty lotus-petals feet
embellishing silver-belled anklets
will follow him to circle the holy fire seven times.
Then both of you will metamorphose
as ‘man’ and ‘wife’…
As you wait in a sparkling ruby-red bridal dress
for your groom to approach
the nuptial mahogany bed of frail flowers
and cosset the swooning pink fragile rosebuds
to maul them later under his masculine midnight thrusts!
While his licentious eyes will greedily undress your virgin contours,
the shame of your silent undress will
sneak out from the depth of your cloaked desires!
And you will transform into a submissive spouse
to warm his bed and feed his hungry loins…
At the advent of dawn,
fading porcelain moon
mourns the loss of your red-stained virginity,
and my lost love will only be a bloody red relic
of my antique past…

I am India
Again I will emerge
again I will surge
Though troubles are there
challenges are there
But
I am India
I owe the will
I have the fire
Don't laugh sarcastic
don't show me statistic
You measure a nation
with his kill power
Don't you know
the miracle of a will power
I am India
I owe the will
I have the fire
I'm not worried of
the few hands active
against me ruthlessly
For I'm convinced of
billions hand who are
holding me quite earnestly
Again I'll emerge
again I'll surge
Because
I'm India
I owe the will
I have the fire

Let Me Be A Fool
You take the crown,
I'll zip my lips,
I SWEAR.....
zip, zip, zip....zip my lips
lip, lip, lip...oops,,, zips no lip
oh! I can't even mug up
I was not permitted in to a school;
la..la..la.. look I AM A PROUD FOOL! !
I veiled my eyes with a black tape
I resist as I hate to ape.
You scolded me and she gave me a scornful look
I won't complain as I am the bait of your hook.
hook, hook, hook,....hook my book
book, book, your hook, my book,,,,, ooops! !
I am not poor, let me make it clear
You be the King, but, LET ME BE A FOOL! !

India’s 63rd Independence Day – a Pledge
India is our land, our Motherland!
Sacred are the soil, water and air;
All Indians are our brothers, sisters;
We love our nation great and care.
Our nation is not rich but isn’t poor;
We love its vastness and its heritage;
We are proud to be called Indians;
We will usher a golden new age.
We love our home where we were born;
We trust in God and work for global peace;
We want amity among nations all;
We pray to God that wars may cease.
We want to live in harmony;
We want to progress very fast;
We want to help all those who need;
Our bickering is things of the past.
We will not force nor allow foes;
We toil to reach the moon and stars;
We stand united in joys and woes;
We pledge our lives for nation’s sake.
The Indian heart has love for life;
The Indian soul is kind from birth;
The Indian welcomes any strife;
The Indian brain is best on earth.
We are a nation proud and good;
We want to share our love and peace;
We brook not outside interference;
Impenetrable is our nation’s defence!
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Jai Indian!

50th Independence Anniversary
With pomp
Will storm
The next century
‘Selfless' politicians stake
Fifty years thence
When liberty commenced
Half the populace
Under weight of illiteracy bent
Some lift their heads
The medivial warlord
Snatches their crunch
Under the weight of mighty state
Play truant
Chaos create
Fill their tummies
Which never inflate
In one stroke
Can claim
Precious life
Freely can move around
Corrupt to the core
Jealousy abounds
Stand on the ramparts
To claim
'MERA BHARAT MAHAN'

Made In India
Made in India
They stirred the smart children
to get ranks,
to fill banks,
to join money race,
to forget humanity trace!
Children are grown up
They don't inhale petals of rose
spends nights with heavy booze
They don't see sunrise,
their elbows raise with sensex raise,
Least bothered about 'East',
tries to settle in the west,
They don't salute to 'National Flag',
Always surrenders to 'Statue of Liberty',
They have dollar dreams,
underneath indian screams,
we are indian,
Mera Bharat Mahan!

This is a dreadful night
This is a dreadful night, tonight
though the moon is still there
amid the stars,
trees are nodding slowly
leaves of Neem tree
are still shining
but i am not missing home tonight[so]
this is a dreadful night tonight
yes, i had been missing home,
as a small boy of a boarding school,
that time through whole winter nights,
with my closed but awaking eyes,
with a tear-soaked pillow
i missed home
but this is a dreadful night, tonight
when i am not missing the home
like ever since
ways to the home are covered
with darkness,
the air has lost the
sound of togetherness
the roof have lost it's shades,
this is a dreadful night tonight.

We’re Indians First and Lastly!
We’re Indians firstly!
And that’s the way, we’re known all o’er the globe;
And that is what we tell the world around;
This is our primary identity.
We’re Indians firstly!
We may belong to any state by birth;
Then come our language, creed, community;
We’re Indians primarily!
We’re Indians firstly!
United are we by the tricolor;
The soil is one, though states be many;
We’re Indians basically!
We’re proud of our rich our Indian heritage;
Our thirst is quenched by rivers of India;
Our hunger is appeased by crops grown here;
We’re Indians first and ultimately!
Let none dare try to sow seeds of discord;
The Indian’s free to live in any state;
When asked, let always be our reply,
‘We’re Indians firstly!
God gave one sun and moon to all of us;
We live under the sky, our common roof;
We enjoy freedom got by same ‘Struggle’!
We’re Indians all, firstly!
We’re Indians firstly!
Our patriotism is Indianness;
Our pride’s in being born as Indians;
We’re Indians first and lastly!
All Indians are our brothers and sisters;
We love our fellowmen as our brethren;
Same blood of oneness flows within us all;
We’re Indians first, always, ultimately!

Solitude lacks attitude...
'Solitude', I had learnt to love and cherish,
When love walked in and quenched my wish,
I let love have it's way, in every possible way,
Solitude I hated you, with each passing day...
My heart bleeds now, and I am yearning to know,
Why does love walk in with firm plans to go,
Why does love treat me like some unfinished art,
A few strokes of it's brush and my broken heart...
Why does love wear, that sadistic smile,
While I hold on with hope, all the while,
Why does love storm in to sweep me away,
But like the autumn breeze is never there to stay...
Is love a curse or is love a blessing,
Is love an illusion, which keeps me guessing,
'Love', I sense, is a mystery gift,
With an option to stay or to drift...

Thank You Lust
o lust!
you are lying widely
there in my body and mind
i know long there have been
opposing sounds which you find
but darling lust,
i am grateful to you
i learnt a surprising thing
what a sheer lust could do?
each time when i had been left alone
at a foggy platform
you made me to
move against every storm
they said
it was strength of soul
i say
it was only lust that's all
you made me to learn
riding on a flying cloud
you told me that
even a choked throat
will sing aloud
you taught me to enjoy
music of raindrops on roof
you powered me to carry on
with bleeding hoof
thank you lust, for
evolving the depth of my heart
thank you lust, for sweetening
the bread of my part
thank you lust, for giving me
your feet for the run
thank you lust,
for imparting me the aeons of fun
thank you lust,
for your teachings
to admire the moon
thank you lust,
for granting me
songs and the tune.

We Are Nearing The Shore
Beautiful is that distant shore
Flourishing with lavish lush verdure
Tall trees in tune with wind’s tremolo
Are swaying their heads in wild gusto
As if saying no to all worldly woes
Flitting white doves in free skies
And glittering silvery sands; all encore
Seem to be vowing peace, comfort and more
That is the haven we’re trying to discover
The ultimate Utopia of Thomos More!
Ahoy! My fellow rowers of ‘Bharat’ boat
Let not sloth rust your grits
Rest not yours oars even for a minute
Let sweat evaporate; of few more droplets
Let brawn burn into some more effort
There! Great future is well within our sight! ! !
