Ask Not
What I know
I do not know.
And I know
What I never seen
And I have seen
What I never know.
Put not any question
At any time
You get nothing
Ask not how.

His Answer To My Question Was A Question
His answer to my question
Was a question
My answer to his reply
Was returned
With another question
The game of
Answering and asking
Questions
Did not end
Till I questioned
The very motive
Of our conversation
We came to the conclusion
How to pass time?
Was the biggest question
Asking questions
And creating confusion
Was the answer
So we passed our time
Asking and answering questions
The question now is
Whether we did right or wrong?
The answer is
Why ask a useless question?

There is no such thing as an unreasonable question, or a silly question, or a frivolous question, or a waste-of-time question. It's your life, and you've got to get these answers.

Thousand Fold
(j. buckley)
I have no desire to make contact with all the thought of no, no.
I shiver now, to think of how this answer asked her, no.
Long time gone.
I run to my hide out.
There aint a star born that brightens
More than you, you always should have known,
Ill illuminate your question,
Long time ago Id died and gone.
What has brought the question?
Time has brought the question.
Come and call the question, oh, oh, oh.
Here are the stars, same thing again
Over, over, over, over, over, over
Over, over, over, over, over, over.

Now, the thirteen question method is the one to use

Im saying that the thirteen question method is the one you gotta use
If you wanna have some fun

Without blinking
Without blinking stare at an object
Tears roll and no question is there why.
On oily paper pens do not write
No question is there why.
Water through fissures not leaking
Ocean floor and there is no question why.
The question is there is no question to put why.
I am just obseving and observing
I can shot
The mute then show gut.

A new question has arisen in modern man's mind, the question, namely, whether life is worth living... No sensible answer can be given to the question... because the question does not make any sense.

Question
Looking for question: have you got one?
Hungry for question: will you give one?
Looking for question
O Yeah
Looking for question
Because
God gives the answer.
God gives the answer
In so many ways!
That’s why
Looking for question
O Yeah
Searching for question.

Why Should I Be Concerned?
'May I ask you a question? '
Sure.
'What would you recommend I do,
If someone disagrees with something I have done? '
I would first ask whoever that is,
What is it that I've done they disagree with.
To ensure it doesn't happen again.
Or to provide a clarity as to why what was done...
Had been the way it was.
'Oh...
So you are saying I should ignore the situation.
And forget about it? '
Is that what I said?
'No...
Not exactly!
But I can understand that is what you mean! '
What was your question?
'What would you recommend I do,
If someone disagrees with something I have done? '
And how did I respond to 'that' question?
'It doesn't matter...
Since I know what I will do next time! '
So you are not concerned with resolving the issue?
'Why should I be concerned?
They will think what they want anyway! '
Then why ask the question?
'I just wanted to know what 'you' would do!
And what you suggest doesn't apply to me.'

If You Are Not Feeling It
Do you have it in yourself to achieve?
Are you bothered by listening and discipline?
Does either one of them or both...
Make you cringe?
Especially when someone experienced,
Tells you over and over again...
Those are the two key elements to success.
And you regard criticisms, advice and suggestions...
As being offensive to your sensitivities?
Plus you rather socialize than to sacrifice your time,
To do anything that prioritizes...
What you claim to have love and interest to do.
And there is no loyalty or devotion applied?
Where is your passion?
Do 'I' think you have it in yourself to achieve?
That's the question you did ask me,
Right?
Well...
You have none of that of which I just mentioned.
Was that a trick question?
Or did you just want to see me laugh?
And why would you ask me,
A question like that in the first place?
If you are not feeling it...
What makes you believe that I can feel 'that',
Coming from you?
Stop seeking attention.
Stop seeking acceptance.
Start...
Believing in yourself and your abilities,
And you will never have to ask me...
Or anyone else,
A question like that again.
Now get out of my face.
You're wasting 'my' time.

Oh So Simple Question
I have a question
I have a simple thought
I am the border obsession
I am the clever, the taught
You have my aggression
You have a complication
You are an angry expression
You are the unheard conversation
We have a serious problem
Something simple yet trying
You understand, you look solemn
You know exactly what question I’m implying
Now concentrate, ask it now
Your eyes beg not to be told
Tell it now, but tell it how?
How to tell this question I hold
Wait! Look at your eyes
Now desperate to know
The question I hide
The question I knew not long ago
NO! I no longer remember
The simple question I wanted to ask
That cold day, in that snowy December
Oh how I hate this shy mask
Maybe I will once again
Think of a simple question
Whilst I walk down memory lane
Maybe, one day, you will hear my confession

Early Works - Mementos From Passing Lives
Little time capsules lie hidden
beneath the turmoil of passing lives.
Tiny mementos laid down
by strangers who passed this way
at some time in distant years.
An empty cigarette packet
someone enjoyed the contents,
but when the question remains unanswered.
Nuts, bolts, washers and screws
these mementos suggest something
and also another question.
Standing here, I stare around me
remembering my time here
and wondering what mementos
my life has left for strangers
in the future years.
Again another question
but not one I care to answer.

Alive
Live or dead
It is not an easy question to be answered
Days that come to me always leave never ending question
That only time could answer
Maybe
That’s the reason of our being here
The wound in the heart
Will be buried by time
Though not forgotten
And doesn’t make us relief
But that’s what called

Cowardice asks the question - is it safe?
Expediency asks the question - is it politic?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular?
But conscience asks the question - is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular; but one must take it because it is right.

Time in Iraq
A time to fight,
A time to pray,
A time to leave,
A time to stay.
A time to question guilt,
A time to count the friendships built.
A time to smile,
A time to cry.
A time to say 'Hello'
A time to say 'Goodbye'
A time for living,
A time for giving,
A time for forgiving,
A time for pain.
A time to blame.
A time to kill,
A time to maim.
A time to to settle back,
A time to retire and stay home.

To Amuse At The Expense Of Wasted Time
Would these be betting odds,
That an asking of someone...
Who has done something in their life,
For more than 'sixty years'.
And approached to be questioned,
What they have been doing...
Since they were last seen ten years ago?
And that question has been asked,
By that same person rerpeatedly.
And the response is known.
What would be the likely odds,
That the person asked the question...
Would 'not' be doing,
What has become an obvious love...
For what that person does.
Should the one asking that same question,
Take a gamble and ask another question...
That would initiate a conversation,
Expressing a real interest?
And not just say the same thing to re-tread.
I maybe wrong about this,
But...
Leaving the person feeling a sense of being appreciated,
Would probably reveal a human being existing.
Instead of a novelty to amuse at the expense of wasted time.

An Old Man Should By This Time
AN OLD MAN SHOULD BY THIS TIME
KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HIS DAYS
An old man should by this time
Know what to do with his days-
But each day for me is a struggle and a question-
I hesitate and begin slowly
I try to know how to work
I fumble
A little here and a little there
And I sort of find my way-
But rare are the days that I work as a I should-
I am more easily distracted now
Though I never was a champion of long- time concentration
A little here a little there
Until I sometimes find the rhythm-
But always the question the doubt
The wonder whether I am doing right
The not knowing -
An old man by this time
Should be sure of himself in his work-
But I am not
And of course not in these lines also.
