Silent in Forest

Set on my hands the gift of silence
Lift the pressure and pain of my hips
Trace your ice on my aching shoulders
Then draw the heat from my frozen lips

For I have abandoned myself to wandering
Too far from quiet places, the evergreen
Where swords were drawn by malevolent spirits
And my scars carved by the night, unseen

You found my scraps of despairing verses
The prints and knee-shaped hollows I left
Fearful, you searched the earth untrodden
Insisting no pain could be expressed

The music has fled from my songs, my verses
Are stripped of their words, I bite down on stone
My hands by your fingers are bound to be emptied
Of all gifts of silence, until I atone

My rags were stripped, weeping, from my body
As I lay abandoned, hearing the leaves fall
I cover my limbs with comforting fragments
Awaiting the light that Dawn will recall.

Let the fire Burn (twilight)

Let the fire burn
let it burn
let this new life take its turn
angel of death take my body
Please just lift me away from this heat
cover me with your cool hands
you can put out the fire,
fold your cold hands and bless my soul
Oh you can out out the fire

Swiftly changing everything
Everything already left behind
Lost in this deadly heat
Your medicines killing me
I cant wake from this sleep
Im melting in pain
Im melting in fire
Just put out my rage
Put out the fire
take your cool hands
lift me somewhere heavenly higher

And time will tell
If heaven can turn to hell
Angel near by, i cant be lost under this spell
Offset the flames

Angel of death take my body
Take me away from this heat
Fold your hands and bless my soul
How long before you put out the fire
cover me with your cool hands
take my body
Oh, you can put out the fire

Stripped Away

Fuel - Stripped Away
I must have left my soul cracked open
like a door. . .
in the night. . .
Seizing the opportunity
while i lay there sleeping
all the beggars and thieves walked in
and they stole
all i stored inside
I woke to find
a shell of a man
and all i had once believed . . .
Stripped away . . .
Stripped away
Well i sat at Satan's table
and I drank the wine
in a feast of revelry
Till my eyes were red and swollen
and my soul was so held with stains
that just won't come clean
and i tell myself
that i am in youth
What all i could achieve
Stripped away . . .
Stripped away
Well i stared at my own reflection
But i know that those eyes can't be me
My sprit floats in desperation
on dreams like I've never seen
So i reach for you
and draw you near
and pray that you won't be. . .
Stripped away
Stripped away

Read My Lips

verbal silence. read my lips.
if you see them.
read the words. read it here.

these words. read them like
flowers in the garden.

these words speak a little.
tips of the iceberg. They are less
compared to the color of my eyes
the warmth of my fingers
the suppressed beatings of my heart.

these words that you read.
if only you can see my lips.
if only you can see my face.
and body, naked on the flowing sheet of
pure paper. IF only you know
what silence means, how emptiness
eats it, if only you know how inferior
verbs and adjectives are
compared to the caresses of the hands
and the tenderness of the fingers,
touch.

read the lines silently.
these words do not shape my lips.

they come to your eyes.
in the silence of your understanding.

never shall they speak
about me. they only talk about

the hands that write sometimes
without any meaning at all.

infinitives are not infinite.
neither do verbs know what is it to be still.
and adjectives talk only about the surface.

deep under, the noise begins.
and silence of the verbs move to another side.
now, the mountains of ideas collapse
and bury the casualties of silence.

The Scars That U Leave

I don’t know how much more
How much more I can take
Of this crap you keep doing
Every night I go to bed

With the scars of the day
Scars that you inflicted
And the pain searing through my body
A pain that was caused by your hands

Inflicted by your hatred
A pain remembered the next morning
Only to be added to that night
A never ending pain

As the wounds are never left to heal
But are added to
Over and over again
Know I add a new pain

A pain I inflict on myself
A cut that you didn’t make
But was caused by you all the same

Morningside

Written by: neil diamond
Morningside
The old man died
And no one cried
They simply turned away
And when he died
He left a table made of nails and pride
And with his hands he carved these words inside
For my children
Morning light
Morning bright
I spent the night
With dreams that make you weep
Morning time
Wash away the sadness from these eyes of mine
For I recall the words the old man signed
For my children
And the legs were shaped with his hands
And the top made of oaken wood
And the children sat around this table
Touched with their laughter
Ah, and that was good
Morningside
An old man died
And no one cried
He surely died alone
And truth is sad
For not a child would claim the gift he had
The words he carved became his epitath
For my children

Silence

Silence

I get nothing to say
When my tears became dry
Since you've denied
My love that reached the sky.

And what are you awaiting for
After you've left and exist no more.

All what you can get is Silence.
For words left my service.
And went to serve the vices,
When my tongue to the heart failed to give advice.

Silence can speak of my pains more
Than you from my lips are awaiting for.
Silence can tell you
Now i 'll not forgive you.

Cry when your eyes meet my eye
That silence can make you die
And summons severe tears into your eye
By my heart Silent cry.

That Moment...when the Button was Pressed Parody Ted HUGHES – Crow

When the button was pressed and the mushroom cloud
finally drifted away
like an ozone layer stripped from the stratosphere

And the only face left in the world
lay melted
between waxed hands sticky with weight,

and the genes were mated forever
and the greens mutated forever
and the shadow-doll lolled upon the gravel
of the abandoned world

Alongside the abandoned gavel
and the bell that tinkled never
God returned to Her drawing-board
to discover the decimal point of error.

The Night Will Only Know

That night will live forever
Their first time to lie together
They were finally where desire dared them to go
Both belonging to another
But longing to be lovers
Promising each other that the night will only know.
Parked on some old backstreet
They laid down in the backseat
And fell into the fire down below
But they would pay for their deceving
For a deadly web was weaving
Why they picked that spot that evening
Lord, the night will only know.
Well within the innuendos
Just outside the steamy windows
The night was shattered by a womans scream
Motionless and frightened
The grip of fate had tightened
And with trembling hands they wiped away the steam.
They saw a woman pleading
Stumbling, begging, and retreating
til she became the victim of a foe
And they watched her fall in silence
To save their own alliance
But the reason for the violence
Just the night will only know
And every paper ran the story
She was stripped of all her glory
And they told exactly how the woman died
Abandoned and forsaken
Too many pills were taken
And they ruled the womans death a suicide.
Bound by their behavior
They could have been her savior
Now guilt becomes an endless debt they owe
But another crime was committed
And its never been admitted
Have the guilty been acquitted
Lord, the night will only know.

No Longer

Shut the lids to cover the eyes,
the eyes that stare at me.
No longer should I be stared at.
No longer should you see.
Silence the mouth to cover the words,
the words that affedted me.
No longer should I be spoken to.
The words don't belong to me.
Put on gloves to hide your hands,
the hands that found my face.
No longer should my face be felt,
too many tears to trace.

Sonnet I

The only difference between you and the moon,
My distant friend is that the moon never leaves me alone,
It does not send assorted bones wrapped in a sad night like this,
Your only gifts were ‘sorrow' and ‘melancholy', the twin sisters.

Distant friend, when you abandoned me at nowhere.
The cruel nights kept knocking on my repulsive door.
I went lost as a stone, silent as the smoke, and sad as fall.
While the other moon kept sprinkling its sack of floor on my wounds.

The other moon always crossed the immense distances for me,
Turning away meters, kilometers and miles; love doesn't know time and space
distance is not a obstacle, not an excuse for forgetting,
while you my moon; being close as breath to me, lived extraterrestrial-ly.

You always kept hearing me as though I was absent,
Saw me as though I was invisible, spoke as though I was a shadow.
Abandoned me as though I was a stone
I have always been a stone my love, a stone lost.
Beloved: There is nothing more sadder than being a lost stone:

Now declare me dead! ! !

An Agreement Called Forever

Cave in and try to take away
All that I have, all I betray...
So much damage I've done
Well this I know, that I just fail
Turn me on me
Turn me on me
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
This is me, well this I know
This is me, well is it?
Well the youth has certainly gone away
and at times I'd like to erase...
Please don't see that I can't have loyalty
'Cause I just fail.
Turn me on me
Turn me on me
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
And I have tried to sit you down and take the fall
look you in the eye and tell you it all
And I have tried to sit you down and take the fall
To look you in the eye and tell you it all..I fail.
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
This is me, well this I know
This is me.
I fail...
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away.

Woman Without Love

(words & music by jerry chesnut)
Her eyes tell the story so well
She tries hard to hide
So little expected
Too often neglected,
A woman stripped of her pride
Always so careful not to cry
Not till I fall asleep
And there in the silence
She lies with a tear on her cheek
The thought comes to mind
That Ive failed somehow
For things I cant quite recall
A man without love is only half a man
But a woman is nothing at all

Circle Song

If you see me speak without words
Know that i am speaking of the wind
And if you see my words like wind
Know that soft tongues cut through stone
And if you see my tongue like stone
Know its wisdom lies in silence
And if you see my wisdom in silence
Then with you i will always be
And if you doubt my true love is true
Just see how you have no mockings on your hands
And if you see you wear no chains
You are free like poor men
And if you see your freedom in being poor
Pleased you'll be with the treasure of your mind
And if you're pleased with the treasure of your mind
Then with you i will always be
And if you wonder how it is that i left
Just watch the sun set slip away
And as you watch that sun slip away
Know some things are better left unseen
And if you know things are better left unseen
Then night shall carry you in her arms
And if you see i carry you in my arms
Then with you i will always be
With you i will always be

Early In November

Beneath the starry morning still and steady
Frost laid on the leaves
Frost laid on the dreams
And stayed till the sun beams

Its early in November
And there's no rain
Oh this terrible silence and frozen pain

Sleep clinging in the closets
Sleep creeping on the floors
Sleep climbing up the walls
And stays till the reality falls

It's early in November
And I can't remember
How long will i wait and slumber?

The sky begins to pale
The black reveals is blues so dull and stale
As the footsteps begun to jolt this abandoned trail
The heart bursts out into this silent wail

It's early in November
And there's no rain
Oh this terrible silence and frozen pain

Feelings Dainty Petals Of A Flower!

The feelings dainty petals of a flower

Is It So Easy? ….feelings so delicate

To walk away from someone hurt, than to extend a helping hand

To close the door from them, than create an understanding band

To look through them than to see their real unexplained pain

To keep away and the reservations and not share the strain

To give a deaf ear rather than a good honest positive hearing

To judge hastily instead of a kind gentle understanding

To label than to comprehend the quality, quantity reason

To refrain from analysing the goodness of every season

o shove away the inexpressible pain deep down seen in ones eye

To walk away from the tears the uncaring hands fails to driy

To silence the aching words a well planned decision to oppress

To push away those who have no voice and are depressed

To reject when the need for a simple hug and words so kind

To let the disabled struggle and to their emotions be blind

To let distress dominate and not dip into the pain of the heart

And when that soul is finally gone, will it be a sigh of relief on your part?

So take a look at the soul that walks alone with lips sealed and hands tied

Tomorrow will you be happy that not once did you ever help the pain to subside? ?

Abandoned and Decayed

Abandoned and decayed
Springfield lunatic asylum
It used to be where she laid
It used to be her home.

Ghosts of her childhood past
Still scream in Anger there
But silence the sounds, she must!
Or they might incarcerate her.

Shhhh! Do you hear her beating heart?
Fear does not make a sound!
Can you touch the Pain she imparts?
In rage all her Hurt can be found.

Abandoned and decayed
Who found solace in the dark
What a price for her life she paid!
Such a broken Soul there to mark!

A Book of Wordsworth

Thy talks on God, and glories of His fields
Are woven into my unworthy past.
The fragments of thy thoughts my memory yields
Grow dim at times, and yet they seem to last.
This little book of verses, covered red,
A gift to me, a gift of quiet rest,
Is filled with soothing words that thou hast said;
Some chosen thoughts, the wisest and the best;-
Sweet songs and gleanings from that inward eye;
The noise of bees the wind in daffodils;
The splendour of the sea and of the sky;
And Nature standing on the silent hills.
They words, thy thoughts, for me can never cease
To have that flavour of eternal peace.

The pain of silence

Like a little girl i sit waiting
Hoping not to be disappointed
But there again all there is,
Is the pain of silence
The silence is taking over
When that day comes closer
I try to forget and just hope
But still the pain of silence
Now this day i begin to dread
Because i know deep within
Once again all there will be
Is the pain of silence
I try to shut this out
But it haunts me like a shadow in the dark
As i fail to run from the silence
The silence is too hard to bear
And because of it i live in fear
For i do not know what to expect
So i dwell in the pain of silence

Dance of Love

I ride on your thighs and I embrace you with my both hands
The wind scraps our deep love dance off with the sudden gusts
Our swift flicks it several times, its tip just touching the wet sand.
The sky is blue and leaves of our tree are covered with orange rust.

My hands moved down your body before reaching your hips
The predation tremor in the early life dance of thrills flounder
Cradling my body in your arms my warm lips are against your lips
Your thoughts made me shiver as my eyes wandered endlessly over

You take small steps and make the turn into and become a part of my dance.
In the next instant an explosion of dawn light and the stirrings of happiness herald
You gonna take me to a place where I can shine, take me high feel so high trance
I keep the new world in the grain of green, I see love in your eyes of emerald.

You keep real close, lover whispers to my ear, I fly to the heavens’ high
You run your fingers through my hair, then dance your lips in orbital circle
Yet another rip in the space time continuum, and a return of perfect fry,
Our love makes slain the sentinel, a deity who is surrounding our crepuscle
