The Only Words That Remain
blast furnace...
molded by turmoil
and endless struggle,
faces scorched by the trials,
endured and survived....
stripped naked, no baggage,
no need for guile.
the all of all on the altar,
the heart beaten honest....
and the only words that remain.....
...............are soul!

Just For One Day...
just for one day...
let's forget about the struggle,
the battle to survive and be free.
the endless turmoil, suffering,
and all the problems we face,
forget about saving the world...
and go lay naked on a blanket
beneath an old tree,
making slow sweet love
while the sparrows watch...
and listen to the coming
and going of the tide,
the turning of the earth
in each other's heart.
tomorrow, back to the fray!
today, come with me,
just for one day!

The Naked Man!
only the naked man,
who's left all baggage behind,
can stand in the heat of the fire,
and slay the corporate beast!
only the naked man,
who wears his scars with pride,
can forgive the unforgivable,
and so heal this land.
only the naked man,
without pretense or game,
can stand up to the truth,
and set the captives free!
only the naked man,
with nothing left to lose,
can find the light
in a sky darkened by greed.
only the naked man,
beaten and cursed,
will stand and give a hand
without seeing your face...
only the naked man...
no longer praying to an unknown god,
will beat the sacred drum,
that wipes away your tears...
only the naked man!

This Our Crucible Gifts
this is our crucible
our trial by fire
in molten furnace
we are smeltered
by conflict ordeals
we like ores dug
from yield earth
contain impurities
imperfections
character flaws
we fail to rise above
which limits nobility
of mind impedes us
from quest embracing
enlightening harmony
catalysis furnace
is severe ordeal
life trials killing
off fatal our soul
impurities as iron
ore is tortured
in blast furnace
so are we tortured
broken crushed
liquefied recast
reshaped into new
being like iron ore
we are born free
of dross slag purified
into finest pure steel
thus experience
insight vision
pierces perplexing
problematic realities
with pulse passion’s
need we gift
unguarded
“noblest prayers
to bestow upon
others an eternity
of light
in beautified
likeness of purity
immortality'
fleeting moments

Victory Of Humility
His face was buried in the warm sand of the shores
and his feet were soaked in the cold water of the sea
He faces the furnace of test
trying to put his conscience to tune
he steps in the rushing waves of trials
and on a stormy winter night, he builds his foundaion
On a lonely cross, his victory was held...
tightened by six inch nails, still it was victory
The Victory of humility!

Genesis 1: 28
The molded forms of caricatured clay
Compile in their poses behind the glass.
A blast furnace for the menagerie
Chars the chipped remains as the ashes pass.
A choking bark calls, screaming in the cage,
A cry for freedom, for civility,
But flames like whips crack with unbridled rage,
Printing burning grooves in humility.
Nature is manipulated in strain,
Trained by the strokes of simulated tricks.
The will's momentum begins to wane
And the divisive smoke grows dark and thick.
Nature is tempered, a beast to command
By beasts unable to understand.

All My Trials
I had a little book
Was give to me
And every page
Spoke of liberty
All my trials
Will soon be over
There is a tree
In paradise
The pilgrims call it
The tree of life
All my trials
Will soon be over
But its too late, my friend
Too late
But never mind
All my trials
Will soon be over
If religion were a thing
That money could buy
Then the rich would live
And the poor would die
All my trials
Will soon be over
All my trials
Will soon be over

When the winter strip trees
When the winter strip trees, uncovering them to naked,
where they stay behind like stripped skeletons
with only here and there birds remaining,
the secret of survival is still hidden,
even when it becomes icy cold,
doves and sparrows still fly past.
When the winter strip trees, uncovering them to naked,
where they stay behind like stripped skeletons,
it is looking as if the season is making an assault
on everything living, nothing can escape it,
there are still flowers blooming,
as if protected against the cold they are keeping watch
when the winter strip trees, uncovering them to naked.

Tedina's endless sleep
It's like a dream to us all
that thou art
in an endless sleep
It all started like a joke
when thy head got hurt
you survived the theatre twice
As time jogged on
an endless sleep called thou
Thy response
to an endless sleep
is the cause
our eyes are wet
and our hearts bitter
Thy love craves for thee
she weeps bitterly
for thou can't awake
from thy endless sleep
to see thy sons and daughters
become men and women
Tedina
thy endless sleep
has wounded our hearts
in pain we shall be
as long as we stay awake.

Once upon a time
My song concerns a buried grief
Another place and time
A sorrow that our clan endured,
In the days of Auld ang Syne.
Our parents’ lives hold mysteries
We seldom can divine
Like why my Dad would leave the room
When he’d hear Auld Ang Syne
The faces at the table change
The names effaced by time
We struggle to remember them
Back once upon a time
His sister, Kat, nursed old and sick
In the Flu Pandemic times
Then her bright candle sputtered out
Back once upon a time.
When her father heard the news
He nearly lost his mind
He never after sang again
And seldom would he smile
Her brother up in Aberdeen
Heard as New Year Chimed
He dried his tears upon his sleeve
To the strains of Auld Ang Syne
The faces at the table change
The names effaced by time
We struggle to remember them
Back once upon a time

Untainted Meat
Where can anyone go today,
To sink their teeth...
In untainted meat?
Street vendors,
Selling their wares...
In molded clothes,
Greet with stained threads.
And obviously needing sleep.
Sky high prices...
No one seeks!
Even stripped naked...
Prostitutes find their jobs very hard.
For anyone wishing to sniff,
A bargain many now disregard.
There is a strain on the pocket.
Draining super markets.
Johns once in wingtips...
Ease up on the swagger,
And display their nervousness.
Corporate crooks,
Who wore silk suits...
For cooking fixed books.
Lose connections and ties on the 'outside'.
Locked in prisons cells.
Being raped in scrapes by those they cheated.
And when they too sit down to eat...
On butts abused and used.
But accuse themselves much too late.
Wishing for something fresh on their plates.
Besides the same crap they fed to feed.
Depleted and feeling like a rat trapped...
Given sleeze and molded cheese.
Where can anyone go today,
To sink their teeth...
In untainted meat?
These and other questions
Seem easier to ponder.
When you're locked away in the 'slammer'.
Getting banged and hammered...
Getting very little sleep.
And wishing like so many do.
For just a piece of untainted...
Untouched and sweetened meat!

Endless Sorrow
Life has two faces
happiness and sorrow
either ways make essence
of what existence truly meant
With the grace of God
we are redeemed from sin
as Jesus died on the cross
and save us from damnation
Happiness makes peace
but sorrow brings turmoil
reality on earth at present
has shown endless sorrow

Man does not bring to God's altar the stuff of nature in itself, in its initial structure, but something he has made and molded out of nature for the nourishment and the inspiration of men.

We will not escape from this hell
We will not escape from this hell
of the coming war, my patriotic brothers,
even if we pray for peace
in a country where there is obliteration.
We who in suits, jackets and ties
do not even put our lips to whiskey and brandy,
who level-headed keep to our obligations
will smell the vinegar of death and taste it.
We will not stay in this promised land
where others rob and take our possessions
if we do not ask for God’s protection,
ask that He Himself wage the struggle.
In our best clothes we will be put to death
we will be chopped into pieces, be burnt alive
with a crowd (who despise God) waiting
with murder in their hearts to rape
our daughters and wives
and they will leave us naked
to lie stripped in the sun
and we will not escape from this hell
if we do not ask for God’s protection,
ask that He Himself wage the struggle,
the oppression
will circle out wider and wider.

Stripped Away
Fuel - Stripped Away
I must have left my soul cracked open
like a door. . .
in the night. . .
Seizing the opportunity
while i lay there sleeping
all the beggars and thieves walked in
and they stole
all i stored inside
I woke to find
a shell of a man
and all i had once believed . . .
Stripped away . . .
Stripped away
Well i sat at Satan's table
and I drank the wine
in a feast of revelry
Till my eyes were red and swollen
and my soul was so held with stains
that just won't come clean
and i tell myself
that i am in youth
What all i could achieve
Stripped away . . .
Stripped away
Well i stared at my own reflection
But i know that those eyes can't be me
My sprit floats in desperation
on dreams like I've never seen
So i reach for you
and draw you near
and pray that you won't be. . .
Stripped away
Stripped away

An Agreement Called Forever
Cave in and try to take away
All that I have, all I betray...
So much damage I've done
Well this I know, that I just fail
Turn me on me
Turn me on me
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
This is me, well this I know
This is me, well is it?
Well the youth has certainly gone away
and at times I'd like to erase...
Please don't see that I can't have loyalty
'Cause I just fail.
Turn me on me
Turn me on me
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
And I have tried to sit you down and take the fall
look you in the eye and tell you it all
And I have tried to sit you down and take the fall
To look you in the eye and tell you it all..I fail.
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away
This is me, well this I know
This is me.
I fail...
'Cause this is everything I've stripped away
I've stripped away.

The Good With The Bad
We seem to accept all the good, from God as it comes our way,
But, then God is misunderstood, when we come to a darker day,
Everyone knows that in our life, trials indeed are bound to come,
And men must lean on Jesus Christ, the Lord God’s Eternal Son.
Friend, trials come to all of us, whether or not in God we believe,
And when in God we put our trust, strength from Him we receive,
It is this strength that guides us in, and throughout a darker time,
Giving us God’s peace within, all through God’s gracious design.
Some men may come to the place, as they face a trial in this life,
And may look to God’s grace, while acknowledging Jesus Christ,
For trials God may well conceive, in the path of others my friend,
So others may come to believe, in this lifetime beyond the bend.
All things work together my friend, for all who truly love the Lord,
And His Truth prevails in the end, Truth that through all’s endured,
For all called for God’s purpose, as we live out this temporal life,
As we’re pressed into His service, given His power over all strife.
In this service of Christ our King, there are still trials that we face,
But, He who handles everything, supplies us all with ample grace,
Grace that is offered to everyone, in every land and every nation,
As they embrace God’s only Son, and receive His only Salvation.

Autumn Begins in Martins Ferry, Ohio
In the Shreve High football stadium,
I think of Polacks nursing long beers in Tiltonsville,
And gray faces of Negroes in the blast furnace at Benwood,
And the ruptured night watchman of Wheeling Steel,
Dreaming of heroes.
All the proud fathers are ashamed to go home.
Their women cluck like starved pullets,
Dying for love.
Therefore,
Their sons grow suicidally beautiful
At the beginning of October,
And gallop terribly against each other's bodies.

Wonderful Dreams
Wonder is the brain of dreams, the wearing of wisdom,
The highest praise, a negative positivity, a live wire.
Wondered were they who survived the annual struggle,
Their wonders never finish, never do they conclude into struggle;
Fellowship has an absurd appearance from the wonder
We have witnessed from mouth and nose, foot and hand;
Struggle has never powerfully affected us to wonder,
Rather the marvel of a day is like the astonishment of the year,
What of the month? It cries from patience and toil, but no wonder
Has arrived.
Truth argues us to live in the days of the year to wonder.

Claim Check
Its true girls come with baggage,
be she starlet or plain Jane.
The trick for guys is finding one
whose baggage they would claim.
Its said all girls are crazy,
and experience proves it true.
the secret is to find the girl
who’s crazy about you.
Its not as if we’re perfect,
We have baggage of our own.
It‘s the burden we must carry
if we’re to every have a home.

Buck Nekkid
Two shots shy of a 40 ounce quart
A hand in the pocket and a hand in the shorts
Shoot me with two and don't be slow
Only got one good way to go
Get naked
Buck naked
Buck naked
It's the only way to go
Twenty six chicks, all tied in a knot
Ain't all good, but it's what we got
Get naked
Buck naked
Let me see you naked
It's the only way to go
Buck buck
I was feelin' so fine
And things were lookin' better
My baby said maybe
And I said I'd let her
Get naked
Buck naked
Let's get naked
It's the only way to go
Get naked
Everybody get naked
Buck naked
It's the onliest way to go
Get naked
Get buck naked, yeah
