Pledge Of Allegiance
if i stand
with my hand on my heart
and recite anything...
it will be me
naming the names:
of the homeless,
of the jobless,
of the hungry,
of those abused
by the justice system,
of those 'forgotten'
by our political system,
of the underpaid,
the under valued,
the stressed out,
of the common people
of this country.
therein lies my allegiance!

Freedom, Stand Back!
freedom and capitalism
are not the same thing....
neither are justice
and capitalism!
you say it's un-American
to protest against Wall Street,
and the money system.
i say it's un-American
for millions to go jobless,
homeless, and hungry....
while you pad your pockets.
you got rich by the
sweat of our brow....
you need to stand back,
and look at the truth....
before it knocks you down!

One!
when political idealology
causes human degradation,
then the political system
needs to be changed.
when you have to be rich
to be 'voted' into office,
so that you can control
how poor people live,
then the system needs
to be taken down!
when one man's vote
doesnt override one corporation,
then the system needs
to be abolished!
one vote, one revolution,
one goal, one people....
each with the power
and dignity of one!

I think the system is broken; most people think that it's broken. And we think that what we're going to do is invigorate the political system and allow for this country to be turned around.

Looking For The Promised Land
we march together....
the homeless, jobless,
the sick and the hungry.
the victims of poverty,
racism, discrimination, and abuse.
black skin, white skin, brown skin all...
people of all nationalities and languages,
male and female, straight and gay.
people of all religions, doubters and atheists.
those who've been imprisoned,
or who've been used up and spit out
by the system.
young and old, with families and alone,
angry, honest, forgiving, demanding...
the chosen people, looking for the promised land

The Most Beautiful Box (Response Number Two)
you can build
the most beautiful box
the world has ever seen.
you can line the walls
with fine jewels,
and carpet the floors.
you can adorn it
with beautiful pictures,
and have windows that face
the morning sun.
you can have doors
that open both ways.
still...
this box cannot hold
the sky, the wind, or the rain!
so it is with political systems.
no system can define freedom.
no system can define justice.
no system can define equality.
only the human heart,
grounded in love,
can do this!

So Many People Wrongfully In Jail
So many people wrongfully in jail
Even in some so called Democratic Countries where the justice system some does fail
For political reasons or for reasons otherwise
Democratically elected governments spread fear through their lies
Of people they imprison from elsewhere
Who to challenge their right to be in their homeland did even dare
Many imprisoned as terrorists are not terrorists at all
And many of those with power in their ways are so small
They cling to power by their spreading of fear
From them we hear what they only want us to hear
Democratically elected governments who in their justice system take pride
With the power of might who feel they have right on their side
They may talk of human rights, justice and freedom but that's rhetoric nothing more
Actions speak louder than words we have heard that before

A Little Humility
boxed in a system
a bee has forgotten to fly
it tries to do it again
but its wings have become sturdy
like the barks of a tree
its feet have forgotten the shape of a rudder
the radar has become strange to
its system
stuffed inside this box
this system the bee has nothing
to be.
just a showcase of what flight could have been.

Liberty Needs Glasses
excuse me but lady liberty needs glasses
and so does mrs justice by her side
both the broads r blind as bats
stumbling thru the system
justice bumbed into mutulu and
trippin on geronimo pratt
but stepped right over oliver
and his crooked partner ronnie
justice stubbed her big toe on mandela
and liberty was misquoted by the indians
slavery was a learning phase
forgotten with out a verdict
while justice is on a rampage
4 endangered surviving black males
i mean really if anyone really valued life
and cared about the masses
theyd take em both 2 pen optical
and get 2 pair of glasses

Fed up with the attitude of a system of indifference
People are fed up with the attitude of a system of indifference that uses them as objects to be manipulated to maintain a statusquo that intimidates and coerces people to serve its one-sided ends. People went along with it to maintain their life, their relationships, their families, in short, to adopt, they knew that it was unjust as well as out of touch, but it was sold as the best of all inperfect systems. But now the huberous of those entrusted to control the system is too much too bare and the citizens humanity is not being fulfill, and their human dignity is viewed as a histrionic element. So now we see our financial and political leaders in the light of their own greed that has broken the system, as the spoiled narcissist of the wealthy, and cunning who put their own life stile above the country and people that made their position possible. People want their humanity and dignity back as well as their life and are now willing to expose the hypocrisy of the con-artist.

OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM Jul 2nd,2012
By
James Bredin
The justice system is designed to put them in jail though they disagree,
Unfortunately the parole board is designed to set them free,
Regardless of the crimes or rap sheets that read like a book,
Our politicians or appointed aristocrats never look.
Is this is a place where we the people have lost all control?
Or is this is the extremist left-wing activists goal?
Do they want their friends out of jail and walking the streets again?
In line with their very secretive left-wing campaign.
But you didn't know because the media too are on their side,
Nothing in the papers about this and nothing ever supplied,
As murderers and rapists walk the streets every day, defiant,
And we the people and the justice system are so pliant.

You Are In My System
Day by day and night by night
I feel you in my mind
It happens all the time
You know the day dreams stop
My heart beats on
I cant take it any more
It's you I live for
You are in my system
You are in my system
I just want you to know that,
You are in my system
You oooohhhh youre in my system, system
Dont you, Dont you, dont you know that, babe.
I will keep on pushing, pushing, pushing
Until I get through
My main objective baby is to get to you
To turn your mind around
I know will take time
But you know I can wait, now
Youre on my mind
You are in my system
I just want you to know that,
You are in my system
Got me burning, Im on fire
You, youre in my system
Youre everything I need
You, oooohhhh, youre in my system, system
Dont you, Dont you, dont you know that, babe.
Its a romantic vision of me and you
It happens all the time
My dreams are filled with you
Theres no doubt in my mind
That Ill be true baby
You know Ill take you out
And Ill keep lovin you
Oh baby you are in my system,
I just want you to know that
You are in my system
Cut me right down to the wire
You, ooohh, youre in my system
Got me burning Im on fire
You, youre in my system
Cant make believe
You, youre in my system
Youre everything I need
You, Ooohh, youre in my system
I just want you to know that
You, youre my system
Got me burning Im on fire
You, youre in my system

System Of Life
Now its time to look in your eyes
Youre so much better its no surprise
Its like a mirror is watching you
Maybe the words been broken - dont be no fool
Following the lights you see like a rolling train
Yesterday is gone - tomorrows in your hands
Something youve had is gone - dont wish it back
Let it go - dont run away - its nothing youll forget
You know the rules dont need no warning
Theres only one way to find the clue
Inside you so let it go
System of life - be the hunted or the hunter
System of life
System of life - its always by your side
System of life - the one and only way to live in harmony
Dont paint a picture full of love and hate
Paradise is here - but exceptions prove the rules
Sometimes it feels just like a dream becoming true
Close your eyes - look inside - it will never be the same
cause for your life there aint no warning
So stand up and fight to find the clue
So watch out you live and learn
Its the
System of life - be the broken or the breaker
System of life
Its the
System of life - its always real and true
System of life - the one and only way to live in harmony
Yeah - yeah
Oh, its the
System of life - be the hunted or the hunter
System of life
Its the
System of life - its always by your side
System of life - the one and only way to live in harmony
Its the
System of life - be the taken or the taker
System of life
Its the
System of life - its always real and true
System of life

DWD
By
James Bredin
Stephen Harper: I'm on your side but I need your assistance,
We need death with dignity despite political resistance,
I get the feeling that Ottawa aristocrats want nothing to change,
If European countries and Oregon have DWD; it's not so strange.
Is it the Ottawa aristocrats that will not let DWD be?
Though Canadians want it in the Health System and free,
It is our Health System that sets us Canadians apart,
But our Health System back then, was far from easy to start.
The next US election is about their Health System start,
Though several US states have taken DWD to heart,
So Stephen: Increase your popularity with DWD soon,
And please don't tell us to wait till the next blue moon.
