America... The Fallen!

America...
lady of freedom weeping
in your streets broken,

cluttered with the bodies
of the jobless, homeless...
the hungry faces of your children

struck dumb by your apathetic hand....
do you hear? do you see?
do you feel? ....

whose graves will you mark
with your oil tinged pride?
whose god will you worship now?

and who will be left to carry
the heavy mark of your sins?
America....

the fallen!

America, My America

America, my America land of liberty,
what can you say has happened to thee?
Can you still say with pride
just how you feel?
Or is the pride over
can you hear the eagle's squeal?

You fought hard for freedom
but you stole freedom too.
You stole it from the red man
many years ago.
You stole it from the black man
whose back was bent down low.

Your sons and daughters of which I am one
are wondering now where's the sun?
It still shines, but not quite as bright.
The Lady in the harbor cries silently in the night.

I think you were an experiment
designed to take a fall.
America, my America
you're not standing quite as tall.

Another day is over.
We are deeper in debt.
Your main street is flooding
like Katrina, all wet.

And so it is with sadness
I awaken every morn
and am filled with remorse
that the place where I was born
is not America, a land of liberty.
It's just another country with a false reality.

America.... Revolution, Or The Fall!

America, America,
your pale skinned death testifies!
the cross of your democracy laid down,
the blood on your hands names your guilt.
your bodies laid in soldiers' graves,
strewn across your planted fields.
while wild fires rage,
and your tenements boil,
as your children march to death.
the poverty of indifference,
strikes the bell that cannot ring.
while the wealthy drink the blood
of your disembodied men.
and your hallowed god turns his face,
disgusted by what he's seen.
blood sacrifices on your borders,
blood sacrifices in your mills.
your families driven from their homes,
while your prisons turn the wheel.
and the hungry walk your streets
wearing familiar shoes.
the haunting cry of liberty,
rattles against your walls.
while justice is bought and sold
in your sacred halls!
and the colors of eguality,
bleed into your angry streets.
your schools struck numb
by propaganda's thumb,
your daughters sold like meat.
America, America,
revolution, or the fall!

Children In America!

one out of three
children in America,
living in poverty?

what happened
to the land of promise?

children hungry,
children homeless,
children that wont

get a good education!

children, broken families,
children without future.
children without love....

turn to hate!

build your cities,
build your banks,
build your kingdoms

drunk on oil and blood!

your children, dying....
who digs their graves?
who closes their eyes?

who prays for their souls?

Why America

America, America you don't know me,
But dear America I know you.
I see you in the faces of young people,
I watch you sleep in your crib at night.
I hear your voice in the crowded streets,
I taste your soul in the resturants at dinner time.
Why America have you forgotten about us?
You got too big and you left us behind.
Not thinking about the little man,
We were just a waste of your time.
Dear America turn back and look at what you are,
The wind in our hair, the dirt in our pots,
The rain on our cheeks, the oil in our homes.
America why would you allow yourself to forget?
We made you what you are today.
We the little man dug into your land to find oil.
We turned over your soil to feed the pig you are now.
We America are who you should thank
We, America are the working class people.
Without us there is no you.
Without the work we do there is no product,
Without the product there is no profit.
We, America fuel you, yet you leave us behind.
It's okay though, all is forgiven.
WE FORGIVE YOU! !

America

(Francis Scott Key)
Oh, say, can you see
By the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed
At the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars
Through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched were so
Gallantly streaming?
America, America, America
America, America, America
And the rocket's red glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there
Oh, say, does that star
Spangled banner yet wave
Over the land of the free
And the home of the brave!
America, America, America
America, America, America
America, America, America
America, America, America
America, America, America
America, America
ooohhh

Milk And Honey

Welcome to the land of milk and honey
This is where your braves died to be free
Living in those days for love or money
Left your heart and soul at wounded knee
History and time are all you have now
You were free from sea to shining sea
But thats no matter to the folks who live here
You only ride your ponies on t.v.
Weve got everything youll ever need
Weve got everything youll ever need
eEverything youll ever need
America, America
America, America
All your pride was wasted aint that funny
You never tried to bite the feeding hand
Welcome to this land of milk and honey
Where they keep you fenced on burning sand
War dance for the customers on fridays
Birthrights up for sale in tourist stores
Carved your land and faces on your mountains
Crazy horse can never tie the score
Weve got everything youll ever need
Weve got everything youll ever need
Everything youll ever need

From Vietnam To America

In Houston, men killed their own children,
In Saigon, boys killed and robbed
Got life in prisons.
Right here, wives left their husbands...
And mourned their children's deaths,
Over there, girls sold their bodies
Every nights on streets.
From Vietnam,
Do my people have to pay that much,
For the stupid Communists and "United,"
To America,
Do my people have to pay that much,
From the sake of freedom and dollars,
From Vietnam to America,
Do my people have to go that far?

America Cries

America cries.
Her economy dies.
Killed by people you can't trust.
America cries as we bite the dust.

America cries. Now come the whys.
No one could see it?
You've got to be kidding.
America cries as the Neros were fiddling.

The capitalist system is so out of hand.
The capitalists have taken over our land.
What's left for us?
Not much you see
except more taxes for you and for me.
Lending and spending, spending and lending,
the crying and weeping will be never-ending.

America cries and says its goodbyes
to times of financial prosperity.
The financial sting that's played like a game
stock market crashes?
foreclosures to blame?
No. America you played into the hands.
They've dumbed us down so no one understands.

America cries. Where were the wise?
They left long ago and will not return.
America cries for she refuses to learn.

Children Should Not Have To Be Homeless

There are thousands of homeless children in Beijing in China though that is not suprising to hear
For where there is a huge population there is poverty too 'twould appear
And China to anywhere else is no different the rich getting richer they say
And just beyond the leafy suburb is the suburb of neglect and decay.

There are thousands of homeless children in New York though with that some may not agree
In America the great Land of commerce no such a thing as poverty?
But the facts of course will tell you differently and in a World of inequality
There too are children homeless and hungry in the so called Land of the free.

There are homeless children in London in England as well as in Paris in France
The poor children of the poor suburb in life they do not have a chance
Their parents in Jail for drug abuse they become the kids of the street
They search the rubbish bins for food in dark alleys and what others do throw out they eat.

There are homeless children in Sydney and Melbourne and anywhere else one might name
Though that does not seem to affect us we never reflect on our shame
That many should have to grow poorer for one to become a millionaire
In a truly egalatarian society would never be looked on as fair.

Children should not have to be homeless though born into abject poverty
They should not be punished for the sins of their parents so much for our humanity
And money to some all that matters and money is married to success
Whilst the children of the poor live homeless on the street of the No Fixed Address.

And self actualization.

America Is Not... Is

America is something far greater
beyond the borders of the united states

America is not made of rock land or sea
America is not the country
we were fooled into
mistaking it to be
America is not a monger of war
not a preacher of nationalism
America does not exploit
the weaknesses of humanity
America has never been
represented accurately
or depicted properly
by those career manipulators
America is not a place
where one man can reject
the presence of another

America is raw unearthed potential
freedom truth beauty equality!

America resides in the heart and mind
America is home of the human spirit
America is a dream of potential earth utopia
America is something we all cherish and long for

America, its time we redefine ourselves
rethink our concept of who we are.

We Didnt Dare

the soul dies in the body's tears,
even as the straw nest fallen to the ground,
weeps with empty fullness.
my heart does not speak to me,
we walk in silence...
veterans of wars you cant imagine,
returning to homeless streets.
and the bodies of touch and wanting,
are strewn with a beautiful horror.
yet the guilt is named to be forgotten,
as memory turns to vanity.
the sins we wear on the outside,
are nothing to the sins we carry within.
and the weight i carry will be much,
as much as the gift i've felt.
for in the end it is the candle we lit,
and all the ones we didnt dare.
so forgive me for my failures...
and love me for the same!

America's Pride

America’s pride is growing.
America’s pride is showing.
Flags I see—it seems everywhere.
But were they always there?
Somehow, we didn’t seem to care.
On September 11, it all changed so fast.
And the memories of that day will forever last.
It seemed to be just another day.
We’d all be up and be on our way.
But then out of nowhere, death came from the sky,
And we watched in horror as we saw people die.
Suddenly America’s pride became anew.
Everywhere I look I see the red, white and blue.
Now we’re fighting a people we don’t understand
And sending our planes to a far distant land.
America’s pride is growing.
America’s pride is showing.

I Believe In America

I Believe In America…., we’re a nation of hopes and dreams…..,
Sweet freedom will fill our needs…., I Believe In America.

I Believe In America…., I believe we must fight for peace….,
My faith in us will never cease…., I Believe In America.

With His strength from up above…,
We’ll prevail on our massive quest…,
Our nation breathes kindness and love…..,
We’ll lead our world to happiness.

I Believe In America…, we are united in democracy….,
Defeating evil and hypocrisy…., I Believe In America.

Our Lord is watching every move we make…..,
I know He’ll help us do our best….,
Guiding us with every step we take….,
Because our lives are truly blessed.

Broken children

I've come across many neglected children
They carry a pain
Thats left a mark
An uncured wound
A broken heart
A broken home
Due to parents disappearing
Or out there searching
Always there children they are hurting
Why! ....
Because of greed
Because of need
Because of temptation
Or because of drugs!
These children never did ask to be born
And find there status torn
Ripped apart and shredded!
How selfish can those parents be
All for want and for themselves to repair
The only place they have come to tear
Are the roots of those children
Who live there lives searching for there souls
Life becomes a riddle
When only themselves they muddle
Walking down those empty streets
Meeting up with others who swollowed the same
Now they've decided to create a new game
Let it be violence!
And push those parents into shame
Yet it is always
Those poor children who live with blame!
If this is freedom of choice!
Then let those poor children
Make a voice!

Philadelphia Revised

The sad images of Philadelphia popped out of my eyes today
And I could see the streets of Philadelphia where the homeless sleeps
And freeze to death
While Politicians, doctors, Dentists, lawyers, teachers, and nurses get rich
Day by day
But the homeless freeze to death in the streets of Philadelphia and even die
But I have to ask all of you fellow americans where is your heart?
And doesn't charity starts at home first?
Don't you have anything at home that you could give away to the Homeless so they could have something either to wear or to eat?
Why can't we feed the homeless?
I can't understand you fellow Americans?
Please put yourself in their shoes for a day and try to picture what do they Have to go throw everyday
Is it right for the homeless to sleep in the streets and freeze and eventualy Die in the streets of Philadelphia?
Would you fellow Americans go few days without eating?
I don't think so
Why should the homeless that lives in the streets of Philadelphia starve?
Fellow Americans it is time to think about others and not just yourself Because others live In America just like you
Fellow Americans do you have a heart?
Fellow Americans did you ever learned to share what you have with Others?
Fellow Americans America is a sad world because we waste 98% of our Food at home, restaurants, and supermarkets
And all that wasted food ends up in the dump
It is so ashame and so sad at the same time
But the truth is that we are running out of food
And there is not enough food to feed anyone in America
But the cost of food keeps going up
Because we have to pay the American farmers who plants the food and Transport the food to the supermarkets

America?

America, can you hear me?
America, I’m screaming across the seas, can you hear me?
America, I’m pounding on the doors of every inner city family in the states — climbing the gates of every upper class family in this place, can you hear me?
Can you feel my beating heart, America? This beat that greets each pair of feet as they make their way through the piss stained streets to meet their ultimate fate with a plastic smile and handshake covering their rage like melting crayons in a cardboard box — can you hear me, America?
America, I’m screaming from the top of my mind and the bottom of my soul –
Where’d my independence go?
I’m screaming for you like it’s everything I know and I have nothing left to show but my calloused hands and my ragged, drawn-out lungs.
America, I’m trying to sing the songs that have yet to be sung.
I’m pulling people up the social ladder on the bottom rung
But the steps are too creaky and the people’s faucets are leaking and they’re moving their mouths but you can’t hear them speaking.
I’m speaking for them, America! Dammit, I’m shrieking!
I haven’t forgotten them yet — it’s for them my heart is beating!
Remember me, America? Remember my name?
My hands may be empty, but my soul’s still the same.
We entered like brothers but somewhere you changed and I forfeit the game of placing blame –
That gives us nothing — just more of the same.
Remember my drive, my will and my spine?
Remember the years we both spent intertwined on a bed of shared values we created together?
And the world we promised each other we’d make better?
I’ll never forget you and I won’t forget them,
and I’ll keep yelling and singing and ringing until then.
I’m here on your doorstep, I’m ringing your bell.
Freedom’s ringing, America, and I miss you like hell.

His One Demand!

morning half-frozen,
open the door and go...
issues hang like clouds

on the horizon...
bigots and racists,
money bred liars,

blowing smoke on the scene,
and the movement continues.
more and more people,

more and more voices,
standing up in all corners,
change has to come!

right way, wrong way,
too many jobless, homeless,
too many left without...

Constitutional rights taken
under pretense and hoax!
not going to fly,

that dog wont hunt!
America cries out for help
from the cell imposed by greed.

to the streets, to the capital...
to the hallowed halls...
the common man marches,

freedom and truth his only weapons,
dignity his one demand!
