Intended To Be!
will we answer the call
to finally be fully human?
to lay aside our religious
and political differences?
to treat each other with
conscious and willing respect....
to finally see and understand
the beauty of diversity?
to become aware of the dependence
that we have on each other?
to understand that God, under any name,
works through the minds and bodies of humans....
to wake up and see that our Mother Earth
is dying, by our own hands!
to finally realize that life is not ownership,
but a gift we have to give to receive....
to understand that economic disparity
has nothing to do with a human being's worth!
and just for a moment, to lay down
our guns, our hatreds, and our fears....
becoming the prayer we were intended to be!

Moment Of Truth
Dont expect me to treat you like a lady
I may not always show respect
Its too soon yet, I hardly even know you
Thats just my way, dont get upset
You see, up till now Ive been living like a loner
Gettin by, just gettin by
And this heart of mine has only had one owner
But you could change that if you tried
Now I dont want a love forever
And I dont need a master plan
I just want to come together
And I want you to understand
Its the moment of truth, and its finally come this time
Now we must draw the line
The moment of truth, this time its everything
Open up, let me in, let me right into your heart
I intend to treat you like a woman
cause I can see youre not a child
Youve got that look, that certain way of knowin
Its got my senses runnin wild
Now I dont want a love forever
And I dont need a master plan
I just want to come together
And I want you to understand
Its the moment of truth, and its finally come this time
Now we must draw the line
The moment of truth, this time its everything, open up
Let me in
The moment of truth, and its finally come this time
Now we must draw the line, the moment of truth this time

Indirectly In The Despair Of Concealment
i always see to it
that i understand what a family is
when we went to a trip
we make the pact
inside the plane that moment when
we step upon the plastic floors of the tarmac
i have already seen the hint
we understand i repeat we always understand
when we were there at the saigon shopping complex
we too understand
the family segregates as one block
shields itself from our interference
we understand that
and so we too have to create our own path
go somewhere else
to the market to the park to the palace of the president
we must learn to enjoy things by ourselves
we are not really a family
but splinters of dreams
one must realize
to each his own no dependence
one makes a story
fabricates the rest of the characters
develops the plot
complicate matters and then
arrive at the resolution of the big conflict
finally i decide
a poem is better this way
intrepid, limpid, crisscross,
wanting to open but must only show the closed door
to reveal but only to arrive at the consensus
that it is better concealed
mouths silent, lips sealed
hands that dance in the sky enclosing the fingers
with the sun

They don't understand
They don't understand,
What its like to be me.
They don't understand,
Why school is hard for me.
They don't understand,
Why I'm so skinny.
They don't understand,
Why I have no friends.
They don't understand,
What I need.
They don't understand,
Why I lie.
They don't understand,
Why life is hard.
They don't understand,
What life is like for me.
They don't understand,
Why I hurt.
They don't understand,
Why I have fears.
They don't understand,
Why I'm different.
I don't understand,
Why they don't like me.
I don't understand,
Why they don't except me.
I don't understand,
What they say.
I don't understand,
Why they don't undersatnd,
Me...

This Is What You Wanted
Death is hard to understand,
Cause you have to be,
Dead to understand it.
Just like my uncle,
I am dead.
I'm with him now.
I can finally breath,
I can finally run,
I am finally free.
You should be,
Happy too,
Cause you don't have me.
Just like you wished for,
I'm dead,
And gone forever.
You don't even cry,
Or come to my,
Funeral.
You don't look happy,
You look bad,
You look sad.
You've got another girl,
All the money in the wordl,
And too many cars.
You said you loved me,
But you always hurt me,
And never said sorry.
I'm happy,
You aren't,
But you should be happy,
ANd I should be sad.
Cause this is what,
You always wanted...

for Miguel
when you left
there was this delusion of white mustache
this baldness that is too consuming
for those who want
to be always young
i was then a little boy
crying on a velvet blue sofa
i was aware of what was said
from grandpa's mouth in fact
there were scribbles in my heart
like some claws of birds
you do not have to come back
to point me the way you passed
i am still aware about those pains
having loved solitude
there was this party in the house
when i was sixteen and there were hands
slapping your face and i too bleed a lot
having known you much better
on your deathbed
i am still aware of the things to come
i know the secret passage
and along the way i pick you some white flowers
it is bouquet of flowers that i must offer to you
because you understand my pains too
this is our world of pains
we exit soon only to be parted again
and we say we understand the flight of the fireflies
how their lights are drowned by the rain
how the leaves finally find solace
in the silence of utter darkness when we finally find
the truth of this existence
the life after

and what he does to you oh but baby someday you will breathe
and you'll finally see, you'll see it all in your baby you'll see it all in your baby
no moment will be more true than the moment
i look at you. its in you you see somebody's watching over you
and that is all im praying is that someday you will understand
in god's whole plan and what he does to you
oh but baby someday youw ill breathe and you'll finally see

Farewell Speech
what i like from you is that
you are no longer talking
beside me,
my bed is my favorite mate
it does not talk
i have told you that many times
the moon is what i miss
it is dimming and cold with its glow
it is very much like me
what i like from you is that you do not weep
i have told you not to cry
and i like it most when you understand
what is a sky
and you see how it opens
and takes
what lies here on earth
tired and hopeless
what i love in you is that you always give
and there is no complaining
when finally
i am taken by the hands of the sky
by the dimming glow of the moon
when this bed
finally surrenders
breaks its legs
asks the blanket and the mattress
and the pillow
to leave
what i cannot forget about you is this
you have followed the ways of
my eyelashes
when i finally
close my eyes
do not weep
for soon we shall all be there
the moon, the bed, and blankets and pillows
and mattresses
the sky and earth
soon.

The Tragedy of Being Human
I'm human,
I cry a lot,
I think a lot,
Because the answers,
Come in spurts, if ever,
Or Never.
I'm human,
And I want to know why,
People have to die,
Or be killed?
No crime committed,
As if they were a helpless Fly,
I cry.
I'm human,
And I wonder why
We Love?
And look towards the sky,
Trying to understand,
Passion, commitment and pain,
The loved and the unloved,
The sane and the insane,
Explain?
I'm human,
But what hurts the most,
Is to hear men boast,
Of their dictatorial powers,
Built on despicable,
Babel Towers,
A real catastrophe,
Not for me.
And finally,
I'm tired of being Human,
And seeing how Inhuman,
Man towards Man can be,
I quit being human,
I'm free....

Every Color!
'prepare for war with Iran,
with the Islamic Republic'...
God! what irresponsible,
ignorant asses!
when are we going to understand
that you cant go around killing
everyone you dont understand?
no God picked us out to save the world
from color, and other religious views!
democracy does not divide and conquer!
we are not the 'chosen people'!
every human being is responsible
to and for every other human being!
we're not here to kill each other,
but to learn how to live with each other.
dammit, we need each other!
diversity is like the rainbow,
one color doesnt run the show!
but every color is needed!

They'll Never Understand
They'll never understand why their laughter makes me cry.
They'll never understand that what they call truth I know it to be a lie.
They'll never understand as much as they hate me I love them just as much.
They'll understand why on them I'll never give up.
They'll never understand why I don't blame them for their views.
They'll never understand why I do what I do.
I do it because that is who I am.
But they'll never understand.
Thanks
Today, after going through your verses
It has become much easier to understand the path of life
Now I finally know, that it was a game for you
I cannot blame you, whatever your reasons may be
Finally, I have got the answers
The answers I had been waiting for so long
May be my destiny wanted me to read your actual thoughts
Now, yes I will actually love someone else
Since, after reading those dates when you wrote your thoughts
I know the answer of everything now.
I wish that I had read those thoughts of yours before
As unnecessarily I was torturing myself for so long
Now I know the truth as it is
Thank you My SAI BABA......You Actually Saved Me
This is the end of sorrow.
Goofy, is going to be born now
This sweet goofy will spread love, only love
She actually was never mine, now I know
From this moment on, I am single who is ready to finally mingle.

Moment Of Forgiveness
Well i guess that i was lonely
That's why i called you on the phone
Cause in a moment of forgiveness
I didn't want to be alone
And i guess that i was willin
More than i ever was before
Cause in a moment of forgiveness
I come a knockin at your door
Baby i woke up crying last night
Just to realize that you were gone
Has it been two long years without you
Tell me now
When are you gonna come home
Guess that i was hoping
That you'd finally understand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand
Now baby i know
Your not one for bearing witness
(baby i know)
And you told me that
One wrong move is gonna sell you out
(one wrong move)
And i see that you kept your word
(see that you kept your word)
And made it harder than it had to be
Wish i could save you the trouble baby
(oh oh oh)
Give you a little piece of mind
Baby i woke up crying last night
Just to realize that you were gone
It's been two long years without you
When are you gonna come home
Guess that i was hoping
That you'd finally understand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand

The Human Being
A tiny seed is placed in the ground,
It's the start of the miracle of life,
Before very long growth will be found,
Making ready for the stresses and strife.
Throughout the seasons that seed will grow,
Nurture it and a gem will be found,
Treat it with contempt and soon it will show,
There's no goodness inside to be found.
It's an individual with a mind of its own,
Treat it wisely and you can be sure,
When your seed has finally grown,
It's guaranteed to turn out to be pure.
Will it bear fruit well that's up to you,
Have you treated it with love and respect,
Or did you ignore it and cause it ado,
If you did it's the dregs you'll collect.
Never forget we were all seedlings once,
Ignorance towards others must be learned,
Treasure all life do not be a dunce,
Respect from others as a gift must be earned.
Life is a challenge regardless of type,
We're all together in a fight to survive,
As Humans we tend to believe our own hype,
Interdependency is what makes all life thrive.
We are the masters of greed and corruption,
For our future we don't seem to care,
As all life forms now face disruption,
Now's the time to make everyone aware.
Our continued arrogance will bring us all down,
We must acknowledge we are not all seeing,
If we don't we'll be witnessing the death of the clown,
Otherwise titled,
‘' The Human Being ''
All Mine (Demo)
I've got blood on my hands from this little timid life
It's just like a man, to trust me with all his might
I've got mud on my feet, when I kicked you back 3 wks.
If I promised to keep my mouth shut, can I sit her while you speak
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Where did it get me, all mine
What did it teach me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control again
I've got honor to earn
But I guess I lost my turn
When will I learn, to treat you with concern
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control
All mine
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control

What Respect Is
have we forgotten
what respect is?
did we ever really know?
every human being deserves
the respect of every other human being,
and should respect every other
human being as well!
it has nothing to do with
color, religion, political views,
or financial status!
respect is a God given right,
and responsibility!
respect is about being human.
treat people the way you wish to
be treated... treat people like people!

I Understand
I understand your problem
I understand the reason for your tears
I understand what you went through
don't cry because i'm here
I'm here to catch you when you are falling
I'm here to wipe your tears
Be strong
don't let you mistakes lead you
stand and fight for yourself
don't let go
hold on still
i understand how it hurt
i understand how it feels like
get back on your feet
when stumble and fall
i understand
i understand
oh i understand your pain
i understand you went through a lot in life
but remember
be strong, and never give up
I understand

Old Age
Old age just seems to creep up on you.
You look at the sky and it seems brand new.
You look at the snow that seems so white
and look at your hair and see the same sight.
Old age is a gift some don't receive.
The ones that reach it do believe
that life's a blessing on every day
for they've learned nothing can stand in their way.
They've been through aches. They've been through pains.
They welcome the sun and welcome the rains.
They revel in the sight of every flower.
They're happy with naps that come for an hour.
They realize there are sounds they can't quite hear
but they're pleased with the silence in their ear.
They realize their memory can fade away
but remember their youth like it was yesterday.
They look at the stars that shine in the night
and know in the universe everything's right.
They learn not to judge themselves anymore
and understand what they came here for.
They've found it. They've reached it
and they learned it. And they finally know it was
love.

Thousand Human Eyes
Thousand human eyes
Cannot grasp nature’s beauty
In lifetime to praise
Thousand human eyes
Cannot see nature in full
As I always flies
Thousand human eyes
Falls short in their description
Of Sunset sunrise
Thousand human eyes
Cannot apprehend nature
Beneath the blue skies
Thousand human eyes
Fails to see nature’s beauty
To fully appraise
Thousand human eyes
Cannot fully understand
Nature to surmise
Thousand human eyes
Are blessed to see the nature
In its complete guise
Thousand human eyes
Sees the beauty of nature
With awe and oyez
Thousand human eyes
Is not capable to see
Nature’s burning eyes
