it started with just one word,
just the

and then it changes to
It
though there was an attempt
to use the word We,
as a matter of
transformation
in a certain reaction,
but in the nature of all selfish
designs from that single nose
to a single heart
to a hardheaded
sole mind,
unwanting to share, the world
shifted to the I,
the We topples down like
an edifice of mockery
people not wanting to be
with the other and the
pain concomitant with
the misunderstanding of
the We,
irreconciliable differences,
the need for space
and time
definitely there is no
They
oh, the flock is uncontrollable
and blind
and uniformity is abhorred
and looked upon
with so much disfavor
and besides,
the we has become
an expensive venture,
we finally go back to the
I, and since then
we invoke self-respect,
dignity, and solitude,
it is the I
that finally triumphs,
well, there is this
loneliness
maybe, but,
on the other hand,
there is this strength,

Freedom For Palestine! ...
My country, my people, my land
Oh do I wish to be with my people hand in hand
With all wars abolished and all pain gone
With death and pain vanished that has been accepted for very long

With all this evil destroyed and finally stopped

Of Those We Started And Unfinished
there are those which we have already started
years back and still unfinished
no matter how we want to and this bothers us
today. we think how and we invoke why.
there are those which we finished those which we
have done so clumsily and we think we have done no justice
to what have been badly done and we think we are disturbed
that we decided that
this should have been undone
that we should go back to a certain beginning
and redo the things all over again
and give it its shape and color and place
that it rightly deserves
these too bother us.
they keep on going back as dreams
nightmares to be specific
when we sleep they become nagging mouths inside our heads
an old woman wearing black begging to be fed a hearty breakfast
a small child so thin wanting to be hugged by your empty arms
a tiny black bird that cannot sing inside a very small cage
asking you to open a lock
a single leaf on a twig of a dead tree asking you
the hush of a sigh so it can fall and finally be free from the barks
sands of time so dry wanting to be wet with rain asking you
even for just a tear from your eye
so as to taste the dignity of its sorrow
the bother seemingly endless on an edgeless time
and space without doors

so we can be just like it

A Lonely Cloud.....[Nature Observation; Humor]
I saw a lonely cloud one day.
It looked small beyond the Bay.
I tried to find a second and failed,
even though I looked each way.
Think of it! A single cloud.
It's loneliness spoke to me aloud.
I wonder how it felt up there.
Was it very proud?
A rarity I think it was;
like an active bee with no buzz;
like a single potato chip;
like a peach skin with no fuzz.
Like one firefighter at a fire;
a solitary pigeon on a wire;
a Facebook member with no 'friend';
a single member in a choir.
It's like an Easter basket with one egg;
a basketball star with one leg;
me with just one word to say;
a fraternity party with just one keg.
I guess you've come to realize by now
that when I saw that cloud I thought 'Wow! '.
If I'd been Adam, with Eve at my side,
to that small distant cloud I might bow.

What if Faith Spoke?
A lot is asked, suppositions given
treatises delivered, scripture quoted
with but a single word, one syllable…
faith.
Ubiquitous, clichéd, indulgent too,
ringing incessantly from pulpits
this word carries much of mankind
on a whim: “Just have faith, my son! ”
And the doubters? Yes, the Thomases?
Damned they are according to some.
Prayed for by others, even burned.
“Oh ye of little faith…” Repent?
But if faith could speak, extend its hand,
would all come to see it work?
Would we then, at last forever know?
Or would we not want to know?
Perhaps the mystery and answers
are best kept hidden…
behind but a single word,
this word called faith.
The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.

Only time can bring the peace of mind
