Drunk On Jesus
she walks barefoot,
clad in panties, and
a long flannel shirt...
her long hair falling
down her back...
she's drunk on Jesus,
sunlight dances in her hair...
she smells like coming home,
her eyes soft as she hums.
nothing needed, nothing asked,
a prayer wrapped around...
light born from shadow,
the flower opens!

Little Dancing Girl With A Black Hair
the little dancing girl
has a long black hair
with twin dimples
on her mabolo cheeks
she dances in the air
she dances in the water
in the hills, in the clouds
at night, in vast space
she dances in my dreams
when i am sober
when i am drunk
when i am engrossed
in something else
she is the brown little girl
with a long black hair
the dancing girl like a

Daylight Katy
She walks be the sea where the seaworld is
And she waits for the man to come
She lives in town with her high-heeled friends
And she knows its a long way down
But she doesnt have to get up in the morning
With her hair so soft and long
Daylight katy come on
Daylight katy come on
If you cant follow me down
Daylight katy go home
Daylight katy come on
Daylight katy come on
If you cant follow me down
Daylight katy go home
She walks to the sea where the seaweed is
Where the rust and the dirt runs deep
She lives nine lives in her midnight world
While her old mans fast asleep
And she doesnt have to get up in the mornin
With her hair so soft and long
Daylight katy come on
Daylight katy come on
If you cant follow me down
Daylight katy go home
Daylight katy come on
Daylight katy come on
If you cant follow me down
Daylight katy go home
She lives by the sea when the summer wind comes
And the sea dont mind at all
She talks to the sea when the sea runs wild
And the waves run steep and tall
And she doesnt have to get up in the mornin
With her hair so soft and long
Daylight katy come on
Daylight katy come on
If you cant follow me down

Old Woman (Standing At The Sink)
old woman,
standing at the sink,
flannel shirt and panties....
washing dishes with knowing hands,
sunlight through the window dancing
on the strands of grey in her hair....
an old cat rubbing against her ankles....
bombs exploding, new world's emerging...
even the nails in the walls
whisper the coming change!
blackbirds carry the message of snow,
the old woodstove crackles and smokes....
somewhere they're painting banners
and buildings with freedom's song....
he sits motionless, brush in hand,
watching an old woman...
...standing at the sink!

In Your Eyes
I feel the wind rushing through my hair,
Ive got the sun down on my face,
I reach for the future, I wont look back,
I wanna be free and leave it all behind,
And I long to see
Long to see the sunlight in your eyes,
In your eyes
I close my eyes and sense a mystery
The scent of flowers in the air
Ive seen all the beauty, in everything
Knowing its real I feel so alive
And I long to see
Long to see the sunlight in your eyes,
In your eyes

Even More Domineering
I love Rudi’s protectiveness, Juliette says
I’m a disgrace to all feminists, I love his
jealousy while Juliette points out that she
is the great beauty, not I, she has the hair,
seriously beautiful hair, long legs and big
blue eyes; while I have soft hair, light-sen-
sitive eyes and short legs and a non-sexy
smile, Juliette has been crowned first
princess in a beauty pageant
She mockingly threatens to steal Rudi from
me, he’s much too handsome and I’m much
too clinging, she says, but I disagree, I asked
him could he have chosen Juliette if he had
met her first, he burst out laughing and said
not on your life, I don’t care for eyes, legs and
hair, but about what’s inside, I asked him if
he loved what’s inside me more
than the outside –
He replied, I love what’s inside AND I adore
the package in which you arrived, he kissed
my non-glamorous hair and my light-sensitive
eyes and said he liked the fire that lived inside,
he kissed my non-sexy smile and said the love
in the line of my lips drove him wild, I asked him
about my being too dependent and forcing him
to be domineering, using Juliette’s arguments;
he decided then and there
To become even more domineering instead
and marched me off to bed…

Reno
She took off her stockings
I held 'em to my face
She had your ankles
I felt filled with grace
"Two hundred dollars straight in
Two-fifty up the ass" she smiled and said
She unbuckled my belt, pulled back her hair
And sat in front of me on the bed
She said, "Honey, how's that feel
Do you want me to go slow?"
My eyes drifted out the window
And down to the road below
I felt my stomach tighten
As the sun bloodied the sky
And sliced through hotel blinds
I closed my eyes
Sunlight on the Amatitlan
Sunlight streaming through your hair
In the Valle de dos Rios
The smell of mock orange filled the air
We rode with the vaqueros
Down into cool rivers of green
I was sure the work and the smile coming out 'neath your hat
Was all I'll ever need
Somehow all you ever need's
Never quite enough you know
You and I, Maria, we learned it's so
She slipped me out of her mouth
"You're ready," she said
She took off her bra and panties
Wet her fingers, slipped it inside her
And crawled over me on the bed
She bought me another whisky
Said "here's to the best you ever had"
We laughed and made a toast
It wasn't the best I ever had
Not even close

Coming Home
It's a long and lonely highway.
When you're traveling all alone.
I was on my way to nowhere.
But now i'm coming home.
I'm coming home.
I've been running through the fire.
I've been running for so long.
If i took it any higher.
Baby i would be still be gone.
But now i'm coming home, coming home.i'm coming home.
Coming home, coming home, i'm coming home.
Well my home was really never.
On a far and distant shore.
If i stayed away forever.
I could never miss you more.
And so i'm coming home, coming home.i'm coming home.
Coming home,coming home,i'm coming home.
I think of all these years gone by.
Never even wondered why.
I never touched the ground.
All the time that's come and gone.
All the nights i've been alone.
And now i'm homeward bound.
I heard the thunder over canaan.
And i've heard the angels cry.
And their voices came revealing
"as you live,so will you die."
I'm coming home,coming home,i'm coming home.
I'm coming home,coming home,i'm coming home.
Coming home, coming home, i'm coming home
I'm coming home
I'm coming home, coming home, coming home...

Aging Gracefully
You asked if I'd still love you if you lost all of your hair
Your baldness seems a tragedy: you want more fullness there.
It's strange the way we always wish for what we seem to lack
And anything that goes away is what we'd welcome back.
But hair-well that might be a different story all together
We grow it long or cut it short depening on the weather.
In time, it seems to him there's no such thing as too much hair
She spends her evenings waxing and goes shopping for more Nair.
It really is amusing as we old folks go to bed
She has too much; he has too little hair upon his head.
Perhaps a doctor may invent a way we all can win
By building him a grand toupee with hair plucked from her chin.

Im Going Back Home
Rudy stevenson
Im going back home where I was born
First I planned to stay but I cant live this way
Im going back home where I was born
Try to understand I think this citys grand
But with all its charme give me the little country farm
Im going back home where I was born
Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah now oh yeah
I tell you all about it I think you ought to know
Tell you all about it why I wanna go
I miss the country preacher and the house of prayer
I miss the bootlegger smelling in the air
Miss friendly faces and the country smiles
The crickets singing you can hear it for miles
Miss the rooster crowing at the break of dawn
Yes it all happens where I was born
Miss the fried chicken colored greens
Miss the hot biscuits and the lima beans
Miss the prayer meeting where the people pray
With the drum beating till the break of day
You can have it you can have it
You can have it you can have it
You can have thy town I wont be around
This here lifes too fast but ll never never last
Im going back home where I was born
I got to go home got to go home
Where the people are real people can feel
Got to go down got to go down
Leave here today on my way so long so long
Going back home going back home
Got to go home got to go home
Got to go home got to go home
Where I where I was born

Mysterious Girl
There is a girl
With long black hair
With her big grey eyes
People can’t help but stare
Her beauty leaves a trace
Every time she walks by
She’s filled with magnificence
Such splendor you cannot deny
With her tall and fit body
She can blow fire off
As she walks past a crowd
Others can’t help but scoff
Her loveliness is admired by everyone
But her charm is envious by most women
By the way she dresses and walks
Her features are adored and gleamin’
Everything about her is stunning
She’s every girl and woman’s wanna be
Yet people did not know
That that girl with long black hair
And big grey eyes
Is me...

The farmer and his wife (Sestina)
A girl was lying down flat on her back
with a straw hat at eye height over hair,
she was sun-struck, curling and fair
with a rain cloud ominous and black
drifting in a blue sky and a small track
meandering past and it needed some repair.
Some of your makeup is in need of repair,
there’s a guitar bag slung over your back
where you walk pass the girl at the dirt track
with the strong wind frizzling through your hair
and the sky is already turning black
but the evening up to now is fair.
Slowly you walk past the local fair
with some of the stalls needing repair,
the guitar you are carrying is black
and you walk straight on, do not look back
at the whistles of some men with long hair
while home you take a narrow long track.
Watching our horses on the racetrack
you are really sexy and very fair,
our horses do parade with shining hair
you notice that the stands need some repair
and I am standing somewhat at your back
while you are dressed prettily in black.
The highway is like a ribbon that is black
where it meets the old overgrown farm track,
there are huge blue-gum trees some way back
and you agree that the price of the Lucerne is fair
where some cows graze at the pen, needing repair,
swishing with tails to drive flies from their hair.
I pull my fingers slowly through my hair
and there are streaks of grey in the black,
but the cattle are only doing fair
while my love is coming with the field’s track
that must constantly be kept in repair
and I hear her singing over my back.
There were torn out hair a long time back,
when I met my darling and she was fair,
at a fight at a track, I was in need of repair.

Shadow Dancer
I am back in the circus
oh hustling days
I look at the world
in a rose coloured haze
Cramp tight bodies
jive and girate
Bump and grind to the rhythm of fate
And we spun in the sunlight
Of our long summers day
We kissed the heavens now
It's still a beautiful day
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
My hammer headed friends
and the puppet girls call
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
The dance is coming back,
back in my world
Married a model
from old Hong Kong
Came to England
just a singing my song
This love in a letter
sure didn't last
Stamped her passport
never saw her arse
And we spun in the sunlight
Of our long summers day
We kissed the heavens now
It's still a beautiful day
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
My hammer headed friends
and the puppet girls call
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
The dance is coming back,
back in my world
Solo
Unlucky in life,
unlucky in love
No special blessing from above
Fools and horses
come to my door
I am the stranger
who sleeps on the floor
we spun in the sunlight
Of our long summers day
We kissed the heavens now
It's still a beautiful day
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
My hammer headed friends
and the puppet girls call
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
The dance is coming back,
back in my world
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
My hammer headed friends
and the puppet girls call
Back on my wall
shadow dancer
The dance is coming back,
back in my world

Fallen Petals
for one thing i do not know the name
of this sea flower falling from a very lushy
tree whose leaves reach to the sands
as though kissing salt and silence
it is a big flower with pink lines
following the sides
the stamens are long and
scented like a woman with perfume
on her hair
alone in the night she walks
towards a cave
of cascading desire and there
he is waiting naked
the flowers keep on falling
the petals crushed
the night is silent
and well scented
the shadows fuse and then
they were lost in total darkness

Hairbrush
how i wish my fingers were the bristles
or my breath were the wind when it whistles
thru your hair, thru your hair
i wish you'd hold me in your hands
and let me skate thru all the strands
of your hair, of your hair
i could style it anyway you like it
i could brush it straight or even spike it
au contraire! au contraire!
or i would wait patiently in my box
until next i would comb the locks
of your hair, of your hair
i would braid it tight, tousle, and tease!
or pull it back in a ponytail, if you please;
if you dare, if you dare
how often is it a man confesses
that he wish to run barefoot thru the tresses
of your hair, of your hair?
you may think me a little touch'd
but can i tell you just how much
i hate your hairbrush?
this obsession may be zealous
but can i tell you just how jealous
i am of your hairbrush? !

Jenn
Jenn is the one that i always will love
through thick and thin we been through it all
i still love her like i always will
her eyes are brown and beautiful
when i look into them i see us and the future we have
i see us standing with a baby with her eyes
her hair is long soft and brown
when i touch it it feels so soft and i don't wanna let go of snuggling her
when i feel her hair i feel our baby's hair as soft as it's mothers
its eyes and hair they share
i will always love jenn forever and more
our future together is getting bright once more
i will tell you something today that will ashtonish you
if you don't already know
I love you jenn until the day i die
I wanna be with you now more then ever and again

After A Long Long Time
you come back
your hair has grown long
my flower
where have you been all these
days
when i am so thirsty
for love?
i long for you
your scent of magnolia
and roses
how crazy have i become
in this longing
my bed is soft
the wind from the sea is refreshing
i am hot and
ready for your love
kiss me.

She Keeps On Coming
(b, r & m gibb)
Front and centre
I dont know how it happened then
I cant explain it
What was she thinking of when
Mother nature
She put us both together, and
The way she touched me
And I ran that red light and so i
Said I love her
She tell me I dont matter
I try to kiss her
But every dream is shattered
No early warning
Except the morning after
Look in the mirror like a rabbit in the headlights
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
Champagne and roses
Breakfast in bed
Wrapped in each other
And out of my head
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
Oh no
Oh no
Yeah
Oh no
She aint no cleopatra
I aint no julius caesar
I aint no casanova
She aint no mona lisa
She charm a nation
She send you out to die
And we were flying when she ran that red light
I aint no valentino
She aint no greta garbo
No aphrodite
Ill never be apollo
But when we come together
Theres no one else can follow
Theres no tomorrow when we run that red light
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on knocking at the door
Drunk on desire
Erotic delights
Sooner or later, shell kiss you goodnight
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
Oh no
Oh no
Oh no
Oh no
Midnight
Die in the arms of a lover
Hold tight
I close my eyes and shes gone
Dream time
Shes mine
Always here
Small town
Daytime
Disappear
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
Drunk on desire
Erotic delights
Sooner or later, shell kiss you goodnight
But she keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on knocking at the door
She keeps on coming back for more
She keeps on coming back for more

04 Have Scented Kiss
sharp wall’s corner
pasting half your beauty
thin contour of you lips
barely showing behind
your cascading wavy hair
shadow of your eyelashes
attenuating your eyes’ sparkle
to a soft, romantic glow
your thin shirt capturing
a full cap, descending
to a white shorts
riding beautiful flowing
leg to silver anklets
topping red stiletto heels
adoring smooth foot
and ivory nails
my love come, come
i want to see everything
as if, you’re walking on runway
you’re swaying to melody
i took your hand
i turn you around
oh! my, your hair floated
like flower bloom
you end up on my arms
as i dip you for a kiss

Tashi The Cute Shih Tzu
Tashi has two bright red bows that sit by her ears,
she is always quite happy and in good cheer.
Tashi is a white Shih Tzu with long hair and eyes of bright blue,
Tashi is quite long weighing pounds eleven times two.
Mrs. M is very patient and waits for Tashi do her thing,
even when it’s raining or light drizzling.
Tashi has a dog friend named Sam twice her size,
he is a miniature Yorkie and his hair hides his eyes.
They go on walks with their owners but one day it rained,
they had to go back inside and play it safe.
Tashi even waited patiently one day,
when Mrs. walked over to talk to Suzae.
So next time you see Tashi, say “Hi”
and by chance give her a rice pie.
