People have a tendency to see country life through rose-colored glasses.

My Glasses That See Love
I go thru life with my eyes wide open
searching for that true love I'm craving to find,
only to see these rose-tinted glasses are
making my vision partiality blind.
Yet I do know what would be
in store,
I'd take the glasses off and no longer get the
chance to see
the beauty of romance that I've been waiting for,
the intensifying rose color,
as in a precious rose will always remains the core,
for it is the
lasting rose colored hue,
that by which makes all true love true.

I guess I kind of lived in a fairytale world... looking at everything through rose-colored glasses. I probably always will, to a certain extent.

Rose Coloured Glasses
(scott mccarl)
Im an ivory tower boy
Never quite put down the toys
I always think the best of them all
I see only sunny skies
With the wool over my eyes
I never seem to find the crack or the fault
I see it all through rose coloured glasses
And I only see what matters to me
I see you all through rose coloured classes, yeah
The road that I chose is coloured rose
Its a funny sort of haze
All full of dreams of yesterdays
And the dreams are so real you could cry
And you know the grass is green
On the side youve never seen
And the thought is what helps you get by
I see it all through rose coloured glasses
And I only see what matters to me
I see you all through rose coloured classes, yeah
The road that I chose is coloured rose
As I grow a little more
Wonder what this all is for
And the brass ring is slipping away
I would keep the glasses near
And would shed a quiet tear
And maybe smile inside as I say
I see it all through rose coloured glasses
And I only see what matters to me
I see you all through rose coloured classes, yeah
The road that I chose is coloured...

In Which Time Zone
Today,
People are increasingly upset.
They protest.
Saying they wish,
A return back to normalcy.
And they blame the current leadership,
For not doing this quickly.
And those on the sidelines,
Refusing to adorn their rose colored glasses...
Wonder.
Who has dispensed,
Massive doses of crack!
And in which time zone had this been done?
Where were they when the authorities approved that?

Mind Fed Rituals
When determined people,
Pray to God to have their way...
And God sends to them messengers,
To scream from bullhorns...
This is not going to happen.
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.
People like this will make their mission,
To enlist others to value their point of view.
Even to select and depict those unknowing,
They have been chosen as culprits...
By someone who did not like,
How they were told...
To remove their rose colored glasses!
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.
And the 'spiritual' side of it...
Is a routine of mind fed rituals,
Outdated by a lack indepth perception.
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
A common sense for many,
That has been diluted.

Thought Crime?
A once great Nation is being destroyed by design
In front of trusting eyes of unsuspecting masses
Won't be long before thought is deemed a crime
'Lest "We the people" remove rose-colored glasses

If You Have Been Given The Opportunity
IF you have been given the opportunity,
To be invited to view a bigger picture of life...
That includes you,
But for some reason...
You are no longer tha main topic of it?
Grab a hold onto this opportunity.
You may discover a different world,
You had no idea existed.
And others like yourself,
Finding the useless need...
To adorn rose colored glasses.
Getting a much wider vision of life,
And how the experience of living it...
Can benefit with a more rewarding purpose,
That redefines your identity with clarity!
If...
You have been given that opportunity.

Why Would a Question In Your Mind Persist?
You say you wish to know more about racism?
The reason for it,
And why it exists?
Take one step away from your doorstep.
And ask yourself this...
Is your environment exclusively lived?
Does your comfort zone condone a mix?
And if it does...
Why would a question in your mind persist?
If your neighborhood, family and friends...
Do not warrant it!
Unless you're one of 'those'
Wearing rose colored glasses.

Hampered
When changes occur...
And today many are occurring simultaneously.
Those refusing to remove their rose colored glasses,
And stirring up commotion with their blurred visions...
Need ushering through the reconditioned process.
Since the blurring of those using the naturalness,
Of their own eyesight...
Is being hampered by the ones stumbling around,
Pretending their solid ground...
Is not shaking!

Another Perspective
In the City of Pretense,
People live at a low vibration.
They pride themselves in snooping.
Duped by drug enhanced encounters.
Bounced,
From illusions fostered...
By judgement passing done.
Winning favor of the master,
Dazed by colonialistic ways
That betrays any progress made.
Pathological inproprieties,
Begins to leave many wishing
To receive a replacement...
For tossed rose colored glasses,
Bartered.
Hoping a selection of tints and hues desired,
Will provide another perspective accepted!

Rose Coloured Glasses
I look at the world
through rose coloured glasses.
I see no evil
only good everywhere.
I see no conflict
only out reaching helping hands.
It only the world could be
the way I see it through my rose coloured glasses,
what a wonderful
world it would be.
Where everyone
would be happy and be free.

Overheard At the OK Corral
Bearer of bad news?
No!
I think...
'Couldn't Remove Rose Colored Glasses
From Those Who Still Had All Season Passes
To Disneyland'...
Is a more appropriate title for those awaiting
The sounds of the bugle boy to announce,
The arrival of the calvary coming...
To defeat 'threats' overheard at the OK Corral,
By approaching terrorists!
AFTER they have finished shopping on Rodeo Drive...
And Fifth Avenue!

The Painter (Ang Pintor)
The Painter...
He colored the sky
He colored the sea
and even the mountains
and the field.
The Painter...
He colored the roses
and even the birds
and animals
in the farm.
The Painter...
even my life...
He colored.
But the Painter,
I guess no one
have seen Him yet.
The Painter...
can anyone paint the colors
of His life?

A Black Rose
I gave you this Rose
so you can see
how deep is my love
in my heart for thee
It resonates black
but it's deep colored wine
this beautiful Rose, I gave you
entwined on a vine
I love you so much
but make no mistake
this pretty black Rose
can quickly break
For it is fragile, soft and sweet
it is caring and heartfelt deep
It's what lovers
wish they could find
a deep colored black Rose
entwined on a vine
Because this black Rose
has a fine line
It's how I feel for you
my love of all time.

Mister DreamWeaver
'Oh Mister DreamWeaver...
I thought you said,
We'd soon be coming out of the woods?
But why is it getting darker.
The Sun seems to be retreating.'
You are most observant.
And correct with your assessment.
Now...
Pass along the flashlights,
And rose colored glasses.
I have another fable to tell!
I'm going to call this one,
Myths and Avoidance!
It details...
How to interpret screams,
As sounds of joy and laughter.
It promises to be thrilling.
So keep your vomit bags prepared.
You are going to find this one,
Most delightful!

FANTASY...by talile ali
FANTASY
MUSTA BEEN ROSE COLORED GLASSES
THEY'VE LASTED LONGER THAN I CAN EVER BELIEVE
I THOUGHT YOU WERE SOMETHING SPECIAL
I GUESS IT WAS JUST MISCONCEIVED
SO MANY PEOPLE HAD IMPLIED THAT
SOMETHING WAS JUST WRONG
AND I REALLY DIDN'T LISTEN TO
'THEY SAID IT ALL IN THE SONG'
I GUESS I SHOULD'VE LISTEN CAUSE
THE WARNINGS WERE SO STRONG
CAUSE THEN IT WOULDN'T HURT SO MUCH
AND I COULD RUN ALONG
YOU REALLY DON'T CARE, DO YOU
AS LONG AS THEIR YOUNG AND FINE
WELL WHO CAN REALLY BLAME YOU
YOU'RE GOIN DOWN AT LEAST TRYIN
SO WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW A LOT
OF BEAUTY AND OF TRUTH
AT LEAST YOU'LL HAVE THE SATISFACTION
OF RIDING ON SOME POOR YOUTH
SO GIDDY-UP AND GO, GAL
PUT YOUR SPURS TO SOME YOUNG MAN
YOU RIDE THAT PUP TO FREEDOM
OR HELL AND BACK AGAIN

It Seems Not Long Ago
Doesn't it seem as if it was just yesterday,
When those who saw things as they were...
And called negative for refusing to wear,
Their mass issued rose colored glasses?
It seems not long ago,
Those of 'conservative' standards...
Were calling those who protested against injustices,
Radicals and militant.
Nonconformists and leftist 'liberals'!
These same people...
With their high brow standards and diminished values,
Organize themselves to dump perfectly good tea...
In waters they have polluted from a way of life,
That has been enriched by prescriptions of all kinds!
AND found in infested waters!
They claim that the dumping of tea,
Brings back those times when similar acts,
Were considered anti-government and lawless...
When oppressive taxation began to affect the masses!
However...
Most of those protesting attempted to mask the fact,
A newly appointed President who just 'happens' to be black...
Is not a fan of Disney World or any of the lands,
Where delusion is worshipped.
And here it is,
Six months 'after' his election...
And there are those still in denial,
Discussing on national broadcast talk radio shows...
His 'true' identity and the authenticity of his birth certificate.
And he is doing his best to save their beloved country,
From total demise!
BUT...
They do not consider themselves as 'nutts'.
They consider themselves as 'patriots'.

Just One Rose...
that's a homework i need you to tell me if i should hand it to the teacher or not...(:
just one rose, a pretty rose...
just one rose for me with no coze...
just one rose pure and true...
just one rose for me is all i can do...
just one rose somewhere out there...
just one rose for me to care...
just one rose when dark days prevail...
just one rose when people only use petrail...
just one rose and all the time...
just one rosefor me is a crime...

Broken Glasses (2)
It's all broken glasses falling on the floor
Piece by piece breaking even more
One becoming two with each and every blow
A tree of glasses will never grow
Broken glasses on the floor
A million pieces becoming more
Each piece alone starts to shine
As though each one were becoming alive
A million pieces lie on the floor
Broken glasses broken to the core
They make me cry with their silence alone
As though they believe that all hope is gone
And the light that shines on the edge of a piece
Is like an un-witnessed tear of the pain unseen
As though when the pieces stop falling
All the glasses stop fighting
And chose to shine no more
Broken glasses falling on the floor
What can I say what have I more
Broken glasses I adore
Like a silent heart beat being ignored
Broken glasses are alive
Broken glasses are the life
Of a character broken deep inside

Rose Colored Glasses
Does it really matter,
How impressive a demon is dressed?
A demon is a demon.
No matter how fashionable the deception.
Or from which side of the mouth one speaks,
To bare flawless teeth.
Listen with open ears.
And cover up that tender heart.
A demon will always flip flop excuses to exchange.
And take off those damn rose colored glasses.
They may give you an image,
But do absolutely nothing for your brain.
