My Quest

I have put myself on a quest
To turn my life around and do my best
So many things that go on in life
And having to make a sacrifice.
There is nothing in life that comes easy you know
And you have to struggle and put on a show
The show of life is on a stage
And there is so much to gain.
We are all actors in this game of life
And reaching our goal is mighty nice.
But most of us are just backups
In all that we do, and we never seem to follow thru.
So I am on this quest to follow all that my heart may say
For I know that it will lead me the right way.
It will open up doors that I've yet to open
So that I may see all the beauties inside
And there will be nothing that life can hide.
Life without love is unimaginable and it can never be
If you try to hide your love from me.
Love is the stage where we all gather
To find out what truly matters.
Join me in this quest, this search for love
For it was sent from up above
We need each other like the plants need water
Like the sun needs the moon
Let us not end it so soon.
I love you and I know that you love me

Strong Mercy
My desires are many and my cry is pitiful,

Broken..... But Not Tearing Apart
many times in my life..... i've been broken
yet! i persist and stand strong picking up
those scattered broken parts, wishing to hold it
back in my hands
I have to be strong..... though at time i knew
iam weak to hold on, where i always i've stand
making the best stronghold to defend, of what
has been broken
my quest leads me..... to pursue what is beyond
the miles i step, for i know iam broken, deeping

Prepare To Witness
To the lost souls in the night, that I could be a bold searchlight,
Not to go unnoticed or ignored, as I shine brightly for my Lord;
Out of the darkness, in this life, men need to find Jesus Christ,
Like a ship in a stormy bay, that we can help them find the way.
Many of the lost haven’t heard, the Saving Truth in God’s Word,
And as times truly darken, the Truth of God they need to harken,
A witness for The Lord they need, so God’s Truth they can heed,
So many need our witness bright, to guide them out of the night.
We must always bear in mind, we too once we’re spiritually blind,
And for Christ, we must be wise, for only He can open their eyes,
We are to be ready in any season, to give them Truth and reason,
Why we believe what we do, so they can come to The Savior too.
Our Lord’s Truth we must share; God will show us how and where,
For as we live this life for God, Jesus leads us with staff and rod,
And He will create that opportunity, to share, through you and me,
As God’s Spirit opens up their heart, Saving Truths we can impart.
The battle belongs to God alone, and He directs, from His Throne,
In this world in need of His Grace, as He moves us place to place,
To share a Hope, only He can give, in this world, we presently live,
A Hope that leads to Eternal Life, when they come to Jesus Christ.

The Best Of Times
when we who were
privileged
think back over
the course of our lives
when we consider
our struggles
to gain an education
earn a living
we know
the best of times
were hard won
effort sustained
in affirmation
of honour integrity
that the favour
of our divine God
was a blessing
of heavy burden
yet our best times
were these times
were achieved moments
of quiet personal happiness
stung like polished pearls
among endless hardship toil
others who lived lives
of total abject suffering
never had never knew
moments of soul saving
happiness moments
of sustaining hope
life saving renewing
regenerating hope
were cast down
upon broken knees
that did not pray
know personal Saviour
we are humbled
we solemnly grieve
that their hedonistic
lives were too much
for
a faithless
soul
to carry
in isolation
from the
redeeming
Grace of our God
an infinite love
an infinite mercy
an infinite favour

Accountancy
It comes a day
When we must draw under ourselves
A black line
And sum up.
Few moments when we were about to be happy.

All this sums up a shiny future
That we've already lived.
