Troubled Times
Troubled times again are here.
It seems they leave, then reappear.
But that's an illusion that's not real.
For some it's always what they feel.
The ones who have no say at all,
hungry, thirsty since they were small.
Their troubled times are nothing new,
not like the ones that we're used to.
We equate these times with the price of gas
and think to ourselves 'this too shall pass.'
We equate these times to climate change
and think to ourselves it's all so strange.
What's strange my friends is how we perceive
that troubled times are just what we receive.
Troubled times are never really gone.
They come to some on each new dawn.

Times Of Trouble
Times of trouble come and go.
Some who are troubled
don't even know.
They've had no times
when life was sweet
except for the times when they could eat
scraps of food
disgarded by those
who look at them
and turn up their nose.
Times of trouble come and go.
Some that weren't troubled now will know
the abject horror
of how it feels
to miss your lunch 'and miss your meals.
They'll gather together
and ask the Lord whether
this trouble will leave
so they can believe
again.

Early Works - Time
Times of troubled pasts
Times of troubled future
Times of troubled present
More is the man who is great of mind
More is the man who is great of soul
More is the man who is great of love
Time is the man who thinks of nothing
Time is the soul in deep despair
Time is the fool of no awakening
More is the time of unbound less wastes
More is the time all of us wastes
More is time, is time, is time

Bridge Over Troubled Water
When you' re weary feeling small
When tears are in your eyes I'll dry them all all
I'm on your side oh when times get rough
And friends just can t be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
When you re down and out
When you re on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you ooh
I'll take your part oh when darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Sail on silver girl
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
Oh if you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind

Unholy Alliance
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine
It came up crawling from the ruins of the past
And I just cant believe my eyes
It wears the same old face we thought was dead and gone
Forever buried by the time
Unholy alliance
Unholy alliance
It came up screaming from the ashes of the grave
To make this world a battle field
Its got a voice that steals the courage from the brave
And leaves a scar that will not heal
Unholy alliance
Unholy alliance
Dont wanna hear the same old lie that spreads the fear
Only fools think its cool
We must be blind not to see the signs
How can we dare to look away in the wake of yesterday
Troubled times dont turn your back to the lions
Troubled times just learn your lesson well
The party is over
We must be blind not to see the signs
How can we dare to look away in the wake of yesterday
Troubled times dont turn your back to the lions
Troubled times just learn your lesson well
The party is over
Unholy alliance...

Beauty
Earth wind & fire
Oh when I look around me
This old world seems so troubled to me
* does no one see
The beauty that surrounds them
Take a look around you now (sometimes)
Pretty little blossoms, oh yeah
Just as sweet as can be, yeah yeah
(you know) it troubles my mind
These troubled times we need love
You know it troubles my mind
These troubled times we need love
The world needs love, let there be love
Open up your heart and love more open up
Open up your heart and love more open up
Open up your heart and love more open up
Open up your heart, give a little love
Love, love, love, love
(*repeat)
**it troubles my mind
These troubled times
We need love, love, love, yeah
(**repeat and fade)

So Connected To You
There are times when I'm happy
and times when I'm sad
and all of these times that I have had
are all connected to you,
so connected to you.
so connected to you.
There are times when it's sunny
and times when it's not
and all of these times I never forgot
were all connected to you,
so connected to you.
'Cause you have my heart on a string
and I can't control one little thing.
Where's my composure? Where did it go?
'Can't even answer for I don't know.
There are times when I'm jumpy
and times when I'm still
and times when I'm playful
like Jack and Jill.
And they're all connected to you,
so connected to you.
So what do I do to get over you?
You've got me crazy in love with you.
I take a step forward and fall back two
and everywhere that I go
there'll be times when I want you
and times when I don't.
There'll be times that I'll have you
and times that I won't
but there's absolutely nothing I can do
'Cause I'm connected to you,
so connected to you
So I know we can never be through.

Sometimes and Most of the Times
Sometimes I disagree,
but most most of the times, I confess that I am
Sometimes I assume,
But most most of the times, I confident the things are
Sometimes I ignore,
but most most of the times, I notice the way one thinks
Sometimes I conceal,
but most most of the times, I reaveal as I am
Sometimes I act,
but most most of the times, I show what is the real in Me
Sometimes I lie,
but most most of the times, I stand as Honest
Sometimes I hate,
but most most of the times I like the way one likes Me

Good Times Roll
Let the good times roll
Let them knock you around
Let the good times roll
Let them make you a clown
Let them leave you up in the air
Let them brush your rock and roll hair
Let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
Let the stories be told
They can say what they want
Let the photos be old
Let them show what they want
Let them leave you up in the air
Let them brush your rock and roll hair
Let the good times roll
Let the good times roll-oll
Wont you let the good times roll
Good times roll
If the illusion is real
Let them give you a ride
If they got thunder appeal
Let them be on your side
Let them leave you up in the air
Let them brush your rock and roll hair
Let the good times roll
Wont you let the good times roll-oll
Let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
Wont you let the good times roll
Well let the good times roll
Let =91em roll (good times roll)
Let the good times roll
Oo let the good times roll
Oo let the good times roll
Let =91em roll (good times roll)
Well, let the good times roll
(let the good times roll)
Well let the good times roll
Good times roll
(let the good times roll)
Let the good times roll
Let =91em roll

Improvisations: Light And Snow: 08
Many things perplex me and leave me troubled,
Many things are locked away in the white book of stars
Never to be opened by me.
The starr’d leaves are silently turned,
And the mooned leaves;
And as they are turned, fall the shadows of life and death.
Perplexed and troubled,
I light a small light in a small room,
The lighted walls come closer to me,
The familiar pictures are clear.
I sit in my favourite chair and turn in my mind
The tiny pages of my own life, whereon so little is written,
And hear at the eastern window the pressure of a long wind, coming
From I know not where.
How many times have I sat here,
How many times will I sit here again,
Thinking these same things over and over in solitude
As a child says over and over
The first word he has learned to say.

Not Feeling Like It
how many times
shall you change a word
simply because
you do not feel liking it?
how many times
shall this world of ours be destroyed?
how many times
shall this war be waged shall lives be wasted
in the name of change?
this feeling of
' i want change i want something new'
how many times shall we cut
edges and then feel the pain of
desolation?
now, i must leave a space
at the start of the lines. I protest
one blank line
between the sections.
no link. no connection. how many times
shall you do this to us?

Strange Times
Long time ago, back in the mist of time
Back when the crystal waters flowed
There was a world
So strange and so beautiful
All life would flourish and would grow
Years went by, time just fell away
Love was worshiped like the sun
But as we arrive at the house of the water sign
Were living in strange times
Strange times
Strange times
What do we need
What do we hunger for
Who holds the secrets, who will know
Temples of greed
In ruins on the river bed
Wastelands that lived before the snow
Time stands still
As we race through the universe
On our way to the sun
And as we arrive at the house of the water sign
Were living in strange times
Strange times,
Strange times
Its you and I forever
We wont be afraid
Even if the stars are falling down, down, down, down, down
Falling down
Time stands still as we race through the universe
On our way to the sun
And as we arrive at the house of the water sign
Were living in strange times
Strange times,
Strange times

Early Works - Strangers
Here we stand to be counted
on life’s lonely road
fleeting strangers in times
of troubles and woe.
Strangers for moments
that pass so quickly by.
Friends are not easily
found in troubled times.
But here we are together
lonely except for life
outcasts of misunderstanding
that develop in our mind.
Children in our own world
finding happier times.
Disillusioned with people
that surround us daily.
Old is just a word
we pretend not to hear,
young is what we are
so why should we fear?
Darkness is only nighttime
hour when we sleep.
Daylight is for living
so why do we weep.

I Don't Think So
I Don't Think So
We've been through this time together
AlI in my mind the love was so alive
Oh I never wanted for another
Then I saw the beginnings of a Iie
Good times and the bad times
Through the good times and the bad times with me
Good times and the bad times
Yeah I wonder why I never see
Good times and the bad times
Oh maybe there was always something wrong
Good times and the bad times
Did l wait too long
Chorus:
You said you'd love me for all of your life
I don't think so
Through the best of the best and the worst of the times
I don't think so
You said the world was a beautiful place
l don't think so
You swore the love was perfectly sale
I don't think so
People can only stay together
If in their hearts they know they can say what's on their minds
Would you say
Good times and the bad times
If it can't really be then I gotta move on
Good times and the bad times
Is it really time
Chorus: (repeat)
Said the check's in the mail and the maiI's on time
I don't think so
Said out of touch ain't out of mind
I don't think so
Couldn't live without me, and that's a fact
I don't think so
Love is real and it's not an act
I don't think so
Come on
Good times and the bad times
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
Baby our love was a beautiful thing
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
You said you'd love me for all of your life
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
Through the best of the best and the worst of times
I don't think so
l don't think so baby oh baby oh baby come on
I don't think so
The love was right but the loving was wrong
