After
After us, what then?
Will the earth go on
and never end?
All that grew under the sun
every last thing, every last one
will change for a while
until we know
the way the earth needs us
to help it grow.
We plant the flowers.
We plant the seed.
So all that live here
will have their need
fulfilled.
We were creators while alive.
Most of us worked from nine to five.
Generations of humans laughed and cried
and watched while one by one we died.
We made the music.
We formed the art
so all that lived here
could keep their heart
fulfilled.
After us, what then?
Will the earth pray
and say Amen
to all who walked upon her ground?
Or bring us back because she found
she loves us.

A Poem About Earth
I'm what's called a human being
and I've been one since my birth
I've lived here for many years
on this place that we call Earth.
Never lived anywhere else
as Earth's the place for me
other human beings live here too
and animals like Dogs and Chimpanzee.
Earth is called a Planet
but it's not like Mars
no humans live up there
so they'd be no Buses or cars.
There's lots of stuff on Earth
like Rivers, Mountains, and Trees,
and people grow stuff on Allotments
like Radish, Cabbage, and Peas.
The best things here on Earth?
has to be Football, Women, and Beer,
and because you won't find them on Mars
I say thank you Lord for putting them here!

The Lord's Harvest of Plenty
What a truly awesome thought indeed,
That throughout your day you live among seed.
Not the seeds that one would find in the ground,
These are not seen, but in the heart they are found.
These seeds are planted by the children of God,
As they simply follow the path The Savior has trod.
Your life as a Christian is not merely good deeds,
As your faithful witness could plant one of these seeds.
Or your life may be busy with a seed you don't know,
And your faithful witness is helping that little seed grow.
Planting and watering, as a Christian, is all we afford,
While all of the growth of that seed comes from the Lord.
After a little growth it is no longer a seed,
But a new vibrant Christian prepared for a deed.
The deed that has been prepared, I'm sure that you know,
Is to plant some new seed and to help water and help grow.
Once they have grown, they are cut with God's sickle of love,
And taken by The Lord to their Father's Home up above.
Whether the numbers are few or they are many,
You can be part of The Lord's Harvest of Plenty.

The Seed
The wind carried the seed
Into the air to who knows where
Across the weeds, floated the seed
Until to rest on the earth, which laid bare.
And then cried the seed upon the rise
Someday I, I will be a tree,
Liken my brothers, who will be like me
And I will grow to touch the sky.
The seed again journeyed upon the wind
Over the grass and wooded paths
Above the trees, cousins to him
Past the flowers who were his friends.
While he dreamed someday; he too would have many limbs.
The seed finally lighted upon the ground
From where he chose, so his mighty roots would grow
God will water me and give me light, he cried
He will also destroy my enemies and help me rise,
But then arrived a bird, who ate the seed.

The Rose-plant
A plant bore roses ten in number all,
And two got nipped when young by Nature’s way;
One blossomed to adorn God’s celestial throne;
Six bloomed becoming beauteous flowers big,
To put forth seed that fell on fertile soil,
That grew into rose-plants like their parents.
One still remains a flower big on mother-plant:
Weathered a bit, perfuming her landscape;
She yearned but could not turn into a seed!
Nevertheless, she bowed to Divine Will.
The soil was good in which the rose-plant grew,
Watered by rain and bathed by sun for years;
God’s grace and mercy nurtured her growth-curve;
Life’s storms and strife could not up-root the plant.
The mother-plant is very old in age;
Her life-partner left years back to God’s Home;
She lives by sheer will-pow’r, amidst her own,
And thanks the Maker for blessing her life;
God’s plans and ways are strange and mysterious;
Yet, earthlings must abide by Will Divine;
God gives us freedom to decide and act;
But Heaven must remain our goal always.

My Plant is in a Cage
Some of my friends say,
I have green fingers.
I just plant the seed and pray,
and watch, as time lingers.
Grow they do, green and lush
Don't tell no one hush, hush.
cause in Holland we grow 'Mary Jane'
In U.S.A. and Canada it's not quit the same.
The green sage is all the rage,
So I put my green plant in a cage
Locked up tight, 'Motion Detector' on! .
In the morning, no plant will be gone!

The Water Ways
The Water Ways
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted June 14,2007
Earth was here first…
The rivers, lakes, creeks and oceans was born…
So the water was plangent in the crevices on the earth…
Than the plants with trees was rebirth…
Now came the dinosaurs that lasted millions of years…
Than came the volcanoes that wipe them out…
The reptiles came and still here on a slow decline…
So the mammals with the fish been around for centuries,
But for how long can we say…
Animals with birds been around since dooms day….
You notice they slowly diminishing…
Humans was put on earth last…
They consume in excess in
Water, plants, trees,
Reptiles, mammals, fish,
Animals & birds for money, food even to make a profit call greed…
Human have did toxics
The water with the lands around the earth…
So have they did with reptiles, mammals, fish, animals and birds…
You notice they slowly diminishing…
Humans they are in abounded…
They never die out only cause more harm than good…
They where put on earth by mistake…
So they should be the first to go…
Only one dropp of water…
The ground dried up so no water
Is their a plant or tree to spear to see…
Not a reptile to be seen…
The mammals with fish vanished…
So now the animals and birds are gone…
All is now is dying humans…
Died for excess wasting the earth away.

What do we plant when we plant a tree?
What do we get when we plant the tree?
We plant the ship which will cross the sea;
We plant the pencils to scribble our notes,
We plant the ballots to cast our votes;
We plant the paper in which we read,
The news that o'er wooden poles we speed,
We plant the piles to erect our docks;
We plant the rayon for shirts and socks.
What do we plant when we plant a tree?
We plant the houses for you and me;
We plant the rafters, the shingles, the floors,
We plant the studding, the lath, the doors,
The beams and siding, all the parts that be;
We plant the house when we plant the tree,
We plant the barrel, the box, the crate;
In which to ship all sorts of freight.
What do we plant when we plant a tree?
A thousand things that we daily see,
We plant the spire that out-towers the crag,
We plant the staff for our country's flag;
We plant the shade from the hot sun free,
We plant all these when we plant the tree.

The Flower~
THE FLOWER
Have you wondered?
Wondered how I came about..
It was by the seed
The seed that got life!
Seed that is fed day and night
Fed with fertility and water
It took me a while...
A while to start merging
Merging from the womb
The womb of the earth
The womb that covers all
The womb that people step on
Made of dust, soil maybe sand
Merging out to see the light
Fresh air and sun light
Yes, I was first a seed then a plant
A plant that grew with colors
Grew tall and higher
Grew higher trying to reach the sky
I wasn't building a tower
Or try to gain any power
It was just me the flower
The flower that has color
The colors of my superpower
The colors that can be any talent
The colors that illuminate as sun rises
Yes! ! I am the flower
The flower that creates balance of power
The power that exists in life
More specific the balance in nature
Take me well...
Take me as you flower!
And let your eyes empower
Empower what nature offer as ours
[My Little Green Plant]
I have a plant in my house.
Not a tree a shrub ore a shrew.
But a plant.
It's green and red and sparkle blue.
Healthy clean and sticky like glue.
Bold beautifully and fragrant to.
My little green plant, how I love you.
I love my plant all stretched out high.
When it's flowers open it reveals a surprise
Just imagine it as you close you're eyes.
My little green plant, always on my mind.
My plant is thirsty it needs special care.
Nutrients and light, without it would die.
Like a child growing up ill always be there.
12 weeks to grow, and not a care.
3 feed tall and producing air.
My little green plant with little red hairs.
The time has come that I must say good by,
my little green plant has grown up right.
I'll trim it nice and hold on tight,
my little green plant makes me happiest tonight.
I'll sow the seed and sign the deed,
my little green plants one hell of a weed.
Come on now people get your minds out of the gutter..... I'm just talking about sage! :)

A Poem Without A Name
People died of hunger
Crime and rape
Bullets without escape
Many children cried
Before they died
The earth wired
Growing tiered
It cries out to me
Couldn't you see
Wouldn't you think
It hurts me
Out of fear
Out of pride
You build missiles
To ascend the skies
Investing in ammunition
But not in human compassion
The seed you sow
Is the plant you reep
It's full grown
Now the reeper weeps

Don’t be an uprooted Tree
Seed is sown and the embryo is formed
Legitimate or not, radicle develops into root
Root penetrates into the surface of the soil
Absorbs water and food, turns seed into plant
Inherits the culture of the earth beneath.
It’s in root science that, it moves in
Right direction to fetch the exact need.
Stem gives the support and balance to stand
Branches form the vitality of the plant
Leaves prepare the food to survive
Bearing even odds the plant grows into tree.
As long as deep roots embraces mother earth
The tree shows confidence and attracts.
Location and depth are the might of the tree
Flower, fruit, shade, firm soil, H2O and CO2
Vary from tree to tree, but all owe to root
Never there is an existence beyond this means.
Still human trees surrender under the pressures
Try to get uprooted from the surface and means
Hoping for better flower, fruit, soil and breeze
Truth is, an uprooted tree, a timber, put to ablaze.

Producer Fall From The Grace Of People
Earth shares what earth receives
And now only blood brings life
A killer bring life, producer bring life
Protector bring life, soiled hands bring life
The tree of democracy shall be watered by the blood of revolution
So go plant a seed, go plant a seed for harvest
Go plant a seed for harvest producer
Producer, producer, producer, producer
And it all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall
It all shall fall
I first met you and the ideas you uphold while incarserated
A victim of a social experiment
Eventually addicted to your eight hour injections of hypocrisy
And arrogance and greed
Forced to sit with coplicity in front of my executioners
As they bludgeoned me with their
So called superior values and demanded my submission
I bacame an indentured servant in a factory
Where I myself was the product
Whos useful quality was to protect their palaces
Every word uttered from their mouths strangeled me
So that every thought I express
Shall sow the seed for the noose around their necks
And set fire to their homes
And every word uttered from their mouths strangeled me
So that every thought I express
Shall sow the seed for the noose around their necks
And set fire to their homes
And set fire to their homes
And it all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall by the grace of the people and
It all shall fall
Fall

To believe
To believe that God does really exist and is almighty;
has created the universe, each star, planet
and this old earth
that he is able in his Godliness
and that He Himself has formed man
with His own hands,
has blown life into the first humans,
has walked on this earth
as a human, to save every one,
out of nothing else but selfless love
is an action to unlock the heart
with faith as that of a child,
who is not blinded by the adult world.

Body & Soul
Man placed God’s Christ within the tomb –Mk.15: 42-47
Who’d died in awesome pain –Mk.15: 21-41
His grave a simile to the womb –Mt.12: 39-40
Gave birth to Christ again –Ro.6: 4
He left behind the clothes He wore –Jn.20: 6-7
To rise as Lord and King –Mt.19: 28
Enrobed in Glory’s Light once more –Rev.1: 13-18
His praises now we sing
The complete Christ had left the grave
No bones were found within
Revealing, bodies too He’ll save
That leaves behind their sin
Yet who’ll believe Salvation’s plan?
From death to birth anew!
Fulfilled in Christ, who proved to man
By dining with the few
Earth’s food, the spirit has no need
This truth God’s Lamb has shown
Dining on fish, God’s risen Seed –Lk.24: 42-43
Nourished His flesh and bone
Once Enoch, walked with God the earth
One day he was no more –Gen.5: 24
Quite whole to him who gave him birth
He entered Heaven’s door
With whirlwind sent from God on high –2Ki.2: 11
Came chariot, fire and steed
Bore whole Elijah in the sky
Alive, as God decreed
So offer God your body true –Ro.12: 1-5
Through Jesus, free of shame –1Co.6: 11
Quite reasonable in Christ to do
When baptised in His name…

Plant the Seeds
We, who feel the awakening tme
approaching on its own
must try to plant the seeds of truth
for those who've never known
that time is of the essence.
The earth will no longer wait
for fools who fail to wake up
before it is too late.
The seeds that must be planted
must grow within your being.
They must make you understand that
understanding your power is freeing.
No longer will you be made to think
that this is all there is.
You are a multi-dimensional power
with the ability to become a wiz
at creating anything you want.
Too long you've been kept in fear.
Nowhere else in this universe
does fear exist, only when you're here.
So you must look within and listen
for everything that's in you.
So one by one the seeds we plant
will show you how you grew.

The Easter Lily
A little child, as winter turned to spring,
Tended a lily-plant with patient care,
Thinking, when she should see it blossoming,
To set it on the chancel-step; that there,
When Easter dawned on Lent, the spotless thing
Might on the feast-day be her offering,
Lifting its own white face to One more fair.
But, as the plant grew upward day by day,
Raising itself from earth towards the sky,
So seemed the child from earth to draw away,
The while she feared to see the lily die;
Unthinking that, ere broke the Easter ray,
She might her own white soul before Him lay
For Whom she sought the flower to sanctify.
Time passed. The lily bloomed not; and the night
Before the feast had come. And so the child
Sent to the church the cherished plant, despite
’T was but an unblown bud; and—reconciled
That on the altar-step, midst flowers white,
Her poor green stalk watched out the silent flight
Of hours until the morn—contented smiled.
• • • • • • • •
Fair broke the dawn upon the altar’s hem
Of lilies, breathing Easter greeting sweet;
But, with the night that so perfected them,
The child’s own spirit fled, the Light to meet
Beyond the heaven’s roseate diadem;
And, with the morning, bloomed upon the stem
The fair, white soul her own had longed to greet!

American Narrative
i grew up with the promises
sweet, golden, yet never fulfilled
i worked the meaneal jobs for livin wages, only there wasnt much to live on, merely exist
from sad ghetto windows
hollow, burned out
i watched snow fall like jesus
renewing the earth for us to dirty
felt no reform in prison but the solitude
held the flag high if no other reason
worshipped the neon gods of night
spilled into the ragged eyes
try, buy, something new
only nothing is new
only innocence that we dirty
i saw dreamers killed
no future but the one wanted
gorged myself on the banquets of glory
lived on the crumbs of remorse
danced in the street so violent as a matador
each step as if fate held
life, death
and death was the only certainty.

Save The World, Plant A Tree
Save the world, plant a tree,
For each one chopped, plant three,
Responsibility starts with you,
You actions, the things you do
We are one and the same,
Killing a tree gave no man fame,
They are alive- they breathe,
They feel pain- they writhe
Save the world, plant a tree,
For each one chopped, plant three,
Go green, stop global warming!
This is not a poem- a warning,
Trees are our friends,
Lets not treat them as fiends,
It’s in a deplorable state, her health
Show a little compassion for Mother Earth

The red rose flower, asked god
The red rose flower
Asked god
You have given me
Beautiful look
Sweet fragrance
Eye catching color
Everybody likes me
However,
Why have you given?
Thorns to my plant
God replied
No one gets every thing
He wants
Even all my children
Are not nice
I gave thorns to
Your plant
To protect you from
Careless hands
You should be contented
With what you have
Always bear in mind
Other flowers on the earth
Do not have
Even half the qualities
You have

On that Friday
On that day
Babies were born
Elderly died
Flowers bloomed
Crops grew
Breezes blew
The sun crossed the sky
On that day
Some men cursed
Other men worked
Some women sighed
Children played
Babies cried
People walked the earth
On that day
Birds sang
Insects chirped
Donkey’s brayed
Dogs barked
Fish jumped
Rivers ran to the seas
On that day
People woke
People ate
People spoke
People loved
People slept
The sun rose and set
On that day
Everything was the same
Until He died
So that everything changed
