Männer und Frauen,
Die Slums wachen unkontrolliert in Afrika!
Und ein Baby weint,
Aber so ist das in Afrika.
Ob Nordafrika,
Ob Südafrika,
Ob Westafrika,
Ob Ostafrika,
Ob Zentralafrika,
Armut in hohrm Maße in Afrika! !
Aber es ist zwischen der Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart;
Wie die Sonne und der Mund,
Und die Slums in Afrika wachen immer unkontrolliert!

Geist und Seele,
Wie ein wunderschöner Flamingo!
Aber Sie ist 26 Jahre, zwei Monate und zwei Woche alt;
Und Sie hat Schokolade Braune Farbe.
Die Natur Völkern in Südwesten Äthiopiens mit süßer Kakaoduft,
Aber mit der wunderbarer Schönheit!
Und die Moskitos schwirrten überall herum;
Aber Sie ist 26 Jahre, zwei Monate und zwei Woche alt.
Geist und Seele,
Hier in Afrika mit des höchstes Bergs Afrikas! !
Der schneebedeckte Kilimandscharo,
Aber mit Geist und Seele.
Die Frösche quaken morgens, am tag und abends;
Mit dem Duft aus Afrika!
Aber der Weg ist jedoch lang mit Geist und Seele,

you did not know you were Afrika
When you set out for Afrika
you did not know you were going.
Because
you did not know you were Afrika.
You did not know the Black continent
that had to be reached
was you.
I could not have told you then that some sun
would come,
somewhere over the road,
would come evoking the diamonds
of you, the Black continent--
somewhere over the road.
You would not have believed my mouth.
When I told you, meeting you somewhere close
to the heat and youth of the road,
liking my loyalty, liking belief,
you smiled and you thanked me but very little believed me.
Here is some sun. Some.
Now off into the places rough to reach.
Though dry, though drowsy, all unwillingly a-wobble,
into the dissonant and dangerous crescendo.

Afrika's
Like a free car
Driven on tear gas, across road blocks
Torn apart by drivers with
Looting rights, not driving permits
Afrika
Really a free car
With tires, worn out but never tire
And its doors of opportunities
Are ajar, inviting investors or is it imposers!
The fore lights are dim yet bright
Clouded by morning mists, misrepresentations..
The rear lights are images of past regimes!
And absence of memory lanes
A free car is a registered motor mobile

Leben gegen Leben! !
Wie der Vater, so der Sohn;
Wie die Mutter, so die Tochter;
Und viw meine erster Urlaub in deiner Heimat,
Aber keiner ist eine Insel im diesem Leben.
Das Leben ist wie eine lange Reise,
Und wie eine Elektra aus der Steckdose;
Aber die Wahrheit zu zweit ist wie neues Leben,
Mit Frischem Wind und Buschmesser.
Licht aus das Völker!
Aber das neue Leben ist die Zukunft Afrikas! !
Wie ein Land für unsere Zeit,
Dadurch mit unbekümmert Schwänzen;
