The thing that's good about Hip Hop is that it has experimented with a lot of different sounds and music.

A-waitin for the weekend to finally come, yeah, heah
So, now that the weekend is finally here
Theres nothing but music in the atmosphere
So, come on everybody, lets live it up, yeah

One always has to remember these days where the garbage pail is, because it's so easy to make sounds, and to put sounds together into something that appears to be music, but it's just as hard as it always was to make good music.

The Poem Has A Music Of Its Own
THE POEM HAS A MUSIC OF ITS OWN
The poem has a music of its own
Without the music
It is no poetry.
My music
Faltering breaking slow
Wonders where it is going
And if it really sounds
As music should sound.
Once it was more easy to feel
The melody in me real.
Now I just do not know
So many sounds
So many words
So many claims of poetry.
Music music music
Where are you?
The sound from myself
Is only 'me' now.

Once Heard-now Remembered
Light as a feather
she twirls, she spins
and that's before
the music begins.
The music's been playing.
It's not been heard.
But in her memory
her heart is stirred.
Since silence has come
all the music is done.
She relies on her past
when sounds were the sun.
In her head the tune's playing.
She feels it and starts swaying.
The sounds of the words
have all gone away.
But not the music,
it will always stay.

Listen To The Music
Listen to the music
Tom johnston
Dont you feel it growin, day by day
People gettin ready for the news
Some are happy, some are sad
Oh, we got to let the music play
What the people need
Is a way to make em smile
It aint so hard to do if you know how
Gotta get a message
Get it on through
Oh now mama, dont you ask me why
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time
Well I know, you know better
Everything I say
Meet me in the country for a day
Well be happy
And well dance
Oh, were gonna dance our blues away
And if Im feelin good to you
And youre feelin good to me
There aint nothin we cant do or say
Feelin good, feeling fine
Oh, baby, let the music play
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time
Like a lazy flowing river
Surrounding castles in the sky
And the crowd is growing bigger
Listnin for the happy sounds
And I got to let them fly
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
Oh, oh, listen to the music
All the time

Too Much Of A Good Thing
Smiles in the morning
As warm as sunshine
Kisses when I lay down at night
And 2 loving arms
To console me
I should be scared, it's so right
But, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
Feelings like this can't be wrong
And, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
And we've got a good thing going on
You look in my eyes
And see my thinkin'
I know when you're happy, when you're sad
Someone said
It's too perfect
But, I don't think what we have is so bad
Cause, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
Feelings like this can't be wrong
And, too much of a good thing
Is a good thing
And we've got a good thing going on
And we've got a good thing going on

One good thing about music,
When it hits you, you feel no pain.
One good thing about music,
When it hits you, you feel no pain.
So hit me with music.
Hit me with music, now, yeah.
Hit me with music.
Brutalize me with music.
Trenchtown rockers they dont watch that.
Trenchtown rockers ....
Kingston town, movin
Kingston town.
One little thing Ive found,
Is that you cant fool jah, I know.

Ive Got A Good Thing
(jerry ragavoy / mort shuman)
I got a good thing
I got a good thing
I got a good thing going
Take the sun and take the moon
And stars that shine so bright
All I need is my guy
And everythings all right
Everything about him thrills me
The way he looks at me just kills me
Hes got a way of getting to me
Every kiss just goes right through me
I got a good thing
You know I got a good thing, baby
I got a good thing going
Take the rainbow from the sky
Oh, I dont really care
I will have a pot of gold
As long as he is there
I never knew such sweet affection
And its all in my direction
If he left theres no mistaking
My poor heart would start to break and
I got a good thing
You know I got a good thing going
I got a good thing going, yeah
I got a good thing, yeah
You know I got a good thing going
You know I got a sweet thing baby
Everything is everything, baby
Everything is uptight, all right, out of sight
Yeah, I got a good thing going, yeah
You know I got a good thing

Music Sounds Better With You Lyrics (ft. Mann)
i tried to write this down
the words just don't come out
it's hard to say how you feel
been down the longest road
said yes when i meant no
i lost control of the wheel
cause you know that
things get so bad
you've got my back
make me wanna sing, and girl i'll sing about ya
no sweeter sound than what i've found
no perfect love could be more perfect than us
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
i used to think that love
was something fools made up
cause all i knew was heartbreak
oh, i couldn't help myself
let this heart go through hell
there's only so much a heart can take
cause you know that
things get so bad
you've got my back
make me wanna sing, and girl i'll sing about ya
no sweeter sound than what i've found
no perfect love could be more perfect than us
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
every song
every rhyme
every word
is better with you(music sounds better with you)
every day (every day)
all of the time (all of the time)
every way
music sound better with you
she's my music enhancer
when the music plays she's my dancer
when i'm around her everything's faster
every question i have she's the answer
i'm head over heels
can't explain that this all so real
when i'm around you baby you make me feel like
everything's better with you
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
oooo baby
it feels like
it feels like
music sounds better with you
baby
it feels right
it feels right
everything's better with you
the music sounds better with you
music sounds better with you

Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You
I don't look good in no Armani Suits
No Gucci shoes - or designer boots
I've tried the latest lines from A to Z
But there's just one thing that looks good on me
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
I'm not satisfied with Versace style
Put those patent leather pants - in the circular file
Sometimes I think - I might be lookin' good
But there's only one thing that fits me like it should
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
Ya it's you - it could only be you
Nobody else will ever do
Ya baby it's you - that I stick to
Ya we stick like glue
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you

Music, my favorite place
Music comes to life
When life is boring
Music can tell a story
That sounds like its for me
Music can torture me
With old memories
Music can love me
When theres no love for me
Music can save me
When I am lost
Music can cure me
When I almost pay the final cost
Music can yell at me
Which keeps me awake
Music can speak softly
When I need a moment away
Music can teach me
That this world isnt just hate
Music
my favorite place

Rich Music
Rich music like the morning sun, showers us with tender love
Touching our dear lives with so much tenderness to be won.
Rich music spreads peace right across the air like a gentle dove,
So that we can feel the need to live together as one.
Rich music fills the whole place with sounds of harmony above
That we can live in the world, so pleasant and filled with fun.
Rich music gives notes on how we can handle the inside of
Ourselves, so that we can live to shine like the sun.
Rich music tells how we can give our illness a good shove,
So that all the good we bring into our lives can be done.

Good Thing
The one good thing
In my life
Has gone away
I dont know why
Shes gone away
I dont know where
Somewhere I cant follow her
The one good thing didnt stay too long
Woo who who who
My back was turned and she was gone
Hey hey hey
Good thing
Where have you gone
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Youve been gone too long
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
People say I should forget
Theres plenty more dont get upset
Dont get upset
People say shes doing fine
Mutual friends I see sometime
Thats not what I want to hear
Woo who who who
I want to hear she wants me near
Good thing
Where have you gone
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Youve been gone too long
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
Good thing
Then one day
She came back
I was so happy that I didnt ask
Morning came
Hey hey hey hey
Into my room
Woo who who who
Caught me dreaming like a fool
Good thing
My good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
My my my my good thing
Where have you gone
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo
My good thing
Hey hey my good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Girl
Where have you gone
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Its been so long
Youre gone again
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good girl
Good good girl
Good thing
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good
Doo doo doobie doo good thing
Good good

Music Alone Shall Live
Music is my friend
when I am lonely
music is the one and only
thing that never ends
Music lives everywhere
can't escape it
can't replace it
Music is my life to me
music is what it is and will always be
Music is your strength
when you are weak
Music is your hope
when you are bleak
Music is made to be played
to fade
to serenade
Music is the gift everyone should give
music alone shall live

It Don't Mean A Thing
Irving mills, duke ellington
What good is melody, what good is music
If it ain't possessin' something sweet
It ain't the melody, it ain't the music
There's something else that makes the tune complete
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing
It don't mean a thing, all you got to do is sing
It makes no diff'rence if it's sweet or hot
Just give that rhythm ev'rything you got
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing

Music in my life
The music is good.I like the music allot. It is the only thing that can calm me.It gives me joy and energy.I can do anything as long as i listen to my music. What is my music u ask? It is allot of things, but my favorite ones is Skillet.I like all types of music.that has not chanced much.It just grew wider.I like some music i used to hate, but most music i hate has not chanced. There is a few singers that i used to hate that now i do not.so who knows my direction i am going to take in the future.I sure do not.

Because Nothing Taste As Good As Skinny Feels
ice cream tastes good
but being able to see my ribs sounds better
a big bag of candy sounds good
but feeling my hip bones tastes better
fast food taste good
but a gap between my thighs sounds better
food is good
but being skinny is better
