Silence In Heaven

Hail, hailstones, and the iceblocks falling from heaven!
I am clothed in a fine linen to preach the truth to you all;
But, the works of the people are too negative to bear.
You are decked with gold and,
The world knows its own;
Like the order of the day from the aftermath of a curiousity!
So move your mind to wisdom and,
Try to know me like the quest for money;
For the thirst for water and the hunger for food is like,
The logical lifesytle around us.

Our Sins II

When they were young,
They had many sex partners;
When they were young,
They aborted their babies! !
And the advent of globalization came and caught them up;
But, to the poor, show yourself pure!
And to the curious, show yourself shrewd;
For, the mud of the streets in your town has painted you brown.

The love of a woman,
The head of a queen;
the love of a man,
The love of a king;
And to Abner's tomb in Hebron i rest my mind,
Because, it is very hard for most people to believe in the truth! !

Over and over again,
With hands towards heaven;
But to Abner's tomb in Hebron i rest my mind,
Because our lives on this earth are based on character and love.

Five barley loaves and two small fish for my food,
And of the great wind that blew! !
But, beware of the spirit of deception.

To the sea of Tiberias,
With the guide from the daylight and the natural wind;
But, i am a member of a cabinet in my land.

Our sins,
Of the most horrible ways that man could imagine!
And like a great red dragon in the deep blue sea;
But the time of pleasure and gladness should always be guided by the laws.

A rod or iorn,
Freely given in the name of love;
But we don't need signs to believe the truth!
For love nis for peace and care.

Of a man clothed in linen,
Of a woman clothed in linen,
Of a child clothed in linen,
And of our sins behind closed doors;
But, the heavens know who we are.

An old wife's fables,
A woman with more than one sex partner!
And like a fishing pole in nthe water;
But in these three houses, i have seen all the harlots at work.

We don't need signs to believe in the truth,
And like a protective shield in the land of peace;
But the bugs created inside the body of this woman are now distributed over to other men.

Our sins,
Wisdom is better than silver and gold!
So, we need honest scales and balances in our hands;
But, step by step and hand in hand! !
For this secret room of love is now broughtly lit up to expose our sins.

Sestina #2

why
I don't care for the money
I don't care for nothing
because every feeling you had was no more that words
but they have been my food
and never filled me, you had nothing to quench my thirst

thirst
I'm tires of the repetion tell me why.
my body is dying I need food
I'm sorry I made a mistake, but I want no money
just countless words
that speakes to nothing

Nothing
my three days are up, I beg thee quench my thirst
I'm so pleased to say those words
my rhetorical question is: why?
I rather to live in the 30's than to have money
I rather live without food

fourth time I said food
Dear, it's nothing.
You shown me that before, I HATE IT, the money.
emotions are dry. and I thirst
...you moke me, why?
they are more than words

they are Words
an entity that my mind's eye use as food
something is new, again why?
i'm teary eyed. It's nothing
situation change, but I'll never dout my thirst.
You are wrong, my mind does not want money

money
it makes lame all your words
your eye is dim, you thirst.
the lines I writes can be your food
but you want nothing
I don't care. don't ask, why

I'm tired of the symobles for money, because they have no belly for food
esoteric words, impressing nothing.
And i still still thrist...why?

Prosperity and poverty

Hunger for food has been met;
Hunger for love has set in.

Hunger for power has been met;
Hunger for ethics has set in.

Hunger for lust has been met;
Hunger for faith has set in.

Thirst for knowledge has been met;
Thirst for innocence has set in.

Thirst for contacts has been met;
Thirst for concerns has set in.

Thirst for comfort has been met;
Thirst for compassion has set in.

Love, ethics, faith lost,
Innocence, concerns and compassion missing,

Despite food, power and lust,
Despite knowledge, comfort and compassion,

The soul will die a slow death
Long before the body succumbs.

The world will not die of poverty
But it will sure die of prosperity.

Waking Up At 3: 19 A.m.

hungry and thirsty
i am awakened
i switch on the light
and look at my watch
it is 3: 19 a.m and i
am feeling the
unholiness of the hour

hungry and thirsty
i look for food and water

for how long shall i conceal
the truth of my hunger and thirst?

it is not the water and the
sandwich
it is my soul
hungry and thirsty for
God

deep within i am moving
away
like a ship in the middle
of a storm
yet not wanting an anchor
not wanting an island
even a shadow
of the shore

for when will this hunger
and thirst stop
i do not not really know
perhaps
God shall soon
tell me

again about Job.

My Quest

My tears for hunger continues.
My quest for water is running short.
The joy of shelter I could only dream of,
With no shirt on my back, not even a sole of a shore on my feet.
The great quest continues.
Don't no the taste of food because I hardly have any..
Never had a recreation
Nor any form of entertainment.
All I could think of whats my next meal.
Searching the vast desert for food is brutal, days of walking with no success,
Am in pain need food
My tiny stomach hurts, my legs weak, my hands dead, I can't breathe.
My life less body is damaged.dead from hunger.....

Edgar Lee Masters

Oaks Tutt

My mother was for woman's rights
And my father was the rich miller at London Mills.
I dreamed of the wrongs of the world and wanted to right them.
When my father died, I set out to see peoples and countries
In order to learn how to reform the world.
I traveled through many lands.
I saw the ruins of Rome,
And the ruins of Athens,
And the ruins of Thebes.
And I sat by moonlight amid the necropolis of Memphis.
There I was caught up by wings of flame,
And a voice from heaven said to me:
"Injustice, Untruth destroyed them. Go forth!
Preach Justice! Preach Truth!"
And I hastened back to Spoon River
To say farewell to my mother before beginning my work.
They all saw a strange light in my eye.
And by and by, when I taIked, they discovered
What had come in my mind.
Then Jonathan Swift Somers challenged me to debate
The subject, (I taking the negative):
"Pontius Pilate, the Greatest Philosopher of the World."
And he won the debate by saying at last,
"Before you reform the world, Mr. Tutt
Please answer the question of Pontius Pilate:
'What is Truth?'"

Wood is more than gold
When the food finds no wood.
Food is more than gold
When human finds no food..
Water is more than gold
When you die of thirst.
Anything is more than gold
When it is vital for life.

Dry Up Your Tears My People

Dry up your tears my people!
For gold is not gold by itself when found;
It is found as a gold dust and then,
Refined into pure gold! !
So, having fun and living on the edge of life doesn't pay;
But rather, gain consciousness to move ahead by wiping away your tears.

Yes, all will be well soon;
And like the muse of bananas with the monkeys at as zoo!
However, money really talks on this earth;
But, the same money cannot buy many talents.

Some days are better than others,
However, live like a king and die like a man! !
For, you are not the only person suffering on this earth.

Come to me and let me lead you with the muse of my love,
And like the works done in the land of beauty and love;
For, you are not alone on this earth.

Fly to me and let me show you wisdom,
For where the rich and powerful rules, are also poor people around;
Because, without the poor, the rich cannot be richer always!

Do wipe away your tears my people,
For Rome was not built in a day! !
And, there are still constructions going on in Rome today;
So, stop crying and give me the smile of wisdom.

There are more things to learn on this earth,
But, the Laws are there to guide us on always;
So, if you cannot wipe away your tears,
Then, just lay your troubles on my pillow and let me wipe your tears away.

A cracked ground

By Ombuge Moses

Mama!
You sleep on a crack ground
Empty is the stomach
Hot is the sun
Nothing to quench the crack
The thirst is killing
Cracked is my throat
Helplessly you lay
You sleep on a crack ground

Baba!
Your cry is echoing
My ears cannot stop
My tears cool my cheeks
My face is running dry
You sleep in a crack ground
Forever never to see you again
Mama has followed you
Death has come

It’s so helpless
Who to run to
They promised food
They brought food
They promised water
They brought water
We need food
We need water
We are dying of hunger, of thirst
Who will take care of me the orphan?
Will I die before the next food come?
Will I die before the next water come?
Will I die like Baba?
Will I lay helpless to death like Mama?
Heavenly GOD
Your mercy
I cry indeed
In need
Not In want

When they saw us dying
They brought canned food
When they saw us dying
They brought bottled water
This is a customary issue, problem
Death of hunger
Thirst to death
The solution is death, for me
For you, solution- canned food, bottled water
We need a source
Give us a water source
To plant the seed
To eat from our labor
Weeding, Oh! How is it done?
Irrigating the plant
Nurturing the crop
To live to see a generation
A healthy life
An ordinary way to live
To this

Mama!
You sleep on a cracked ground
Baba!
You sleep in a cracked ground
Dead, you are gone
I your son,
Tonight, I sleep on a cracked ground
If I see tomorrow, I will bury you Mama
I will water your grave Baba
If they give me a water source
Bottled one, I will quench
The thirst that killed you Mama
Use the source to irrigate
Plant a seed, to grow food
A generation
A future
A healthy mind
Never to sleep
On,
In,
A cracked ground
God, to guide
A Kenyan, for a generation

She Works Hard For The Money

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Onetta there in the corner stand
and wonders where she is and
it's strange to her
some people seem to have everything

Nine a.m. on the hour hand
and she's waiting for the bell
and she's looking real pretty
just wait for her clientele

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Twenty five years have
come and gone
and she' seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in
they really seem to need her there

It's a sacrifice working day to day
for little money just tips for pay
But it's worth it all
just to hear them say that they care

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She already knows
she's seen her bad times
she already knows
these are the good times

She'll never sell out
she never will
not for a dollar bill
she works hard

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Sun's Up

The water, is calling out your name,
No your not insane,
It's whispering your name.
And the wind, pulling you closer in,
Feel it under your skin,
Feel it movin' within.
World ain't falling down again,
Well it ain't what it seems,
Well it ain't what it is;
You ain't provoked by your sin,
'Cause you can't tell a lie,
'Cause you lie within.
The sun's up,
And the surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind;
The sun's up,
And the surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind.
Powerful as it seems,
Forever for all the dreams...;
All that you wanna believe;
All the games,
Running through the fields,
Hoping it stays for real,
Trying to make a special deal.
Ohhh...
The world ain't falling down again,
Well it ain't what it seems,
Well it ain't what it is;
You ain't provoked by your sin,
'Cause you can't tell a lie,
Oh you lie within.
The sun's up,
The surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind;
The sun's up,
The surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind.
It's a powerful thing,
If you use it well....
And when it's here and it's seen,
It's something else......
Yeah...
Yeah...
Ohh..
Yeah...
The sun's up,
And the surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind;
The sun's up,
The surfs fine;
But there's something weighting on your mind.
The sun's up,
The surfs fine;
The sun's up,
The surfs fine;

Just One Minute

Mind is very beautiful phenomenon,
It thinks what we want it to,
If something is sensed being negative,
It provides us the complete chain of how those things could be perceived of being negative,
This develops a fog of negativity and pathetic egoism,
And then the soul; So much child,
Can't balance the facts of positive and negative,
So take your chances and gush the water of truth in the mind,
Believe me...
It just takes a minute...

This One Meal

This one meal mom just made
All this food she prepared
This one meal, I remembered
Mom and I had a deal
She said 'Just Eat It'
I stared at the bread I just bit
Watching mom throw away the leftover
Did she even think about the world hunger?
I tried to stop thinking about all this
I couldn't look at my full dish
I cannot hide it
It is too hard, ..
All the world hunger..
From which people die
All this food mom just threw away
Kidney Beans, Sausages, Potatoes...
If only she thought of what she was doing
Throwing away all this food
If only she thought
of what this food could do
save lives, prevent hunger..
Help people live their lives longer..

Have Desire To Have

Have money,
Plenty of money,
or little money,
Have appetite,
Have no time,
we are hungry,
and then become angry.

Have appetite,
Burning appetite,
Churning appetite,
dizzy appetite.

Have appetite,
Have plenty of time, but
Have no money.
People are hungry,
and they are hungry as always.

Angry are hungry,
anger for better things,
Better fast food,
better service,
better facilities

Hungry people are angry,
anger for basic food,
Just to fill the pit,
that churns day and night,
not knowing,
What is available to a man.

Hunger is the turning point,
when insufficiency is pointed.
Hunger is an insult,
when inefficiency is noted.

Let us have the desire,
to have a better world,
where no human,
go and sleep with hungry.

No Fixed Abode

Around the streets, some people pace;
Others sit in doorways and stare into space.
With nothing to do and nowhere to go,
Days seem to drag and time goes slow.

Their daily lives hold little direction;
They're prone to illness and infection.
Their dowdy clothes are full of dust and dirt;
Their eyes are full of hunger and deep down hurt.

Aromas from restaurants waft through the air,
Making pangs of hunger much harder to bear.
Their bellies grumble due to a lack of food;
Remembering better times, they sit and brood.

Some want money for food, drink or drugs;
Some just want love, and they just want a hug.
Amidst the city's seemingly never-ending din,
Many scavenge for their food in rubbish bins.

To ask for money, some seize their chance:
They get ignored or receive a cutting glance.
Like you and I, these people have feelings,
But the sight of them leaves some people reeling.

The lucky few head to a hostel for the night;
Others bed-down in doorways: a sorry old sight.
Those left on the streets do their best to sleep,
But klaxons wail loudly and car horns beep.

Each day and night, they struggle to survive;
In present circumstances, they cannot thrive.
Once upon a time, these people had pride,
But, from the world, they now want to hide.

I Do Not Own The World

Yes,
I know there is war
I know there are many people
dying in hunger
I know there is unequality
but I do not own the world!

I do not have the power
to stop the war
I do not have all the money
to buy food for the hungry
I do not have the power to pass the law
that can give equal rights to all humanity
I do not own the world!

If I own the world
I will make it the world of no war.

If I own the world
I will make it the world of no hunger.

If I own the world
I will make it the world of no unequality.

But I do not own the world...
I alone....do not own the world.

Y.... Hope

There is hope
That one time
We'll all have enough

Enough food
Not too much
Just enough
No more hunger
No more obesity
Let‘s start to work for this today…

There is hope
That one time
We'll all have enough

Enough clean water
To drink
Or orange juice
No more thirst
No more drunkenness
Let‘s start to work for this today…

There is hope
That one day
We'll all have enough

Enough love
Not the ego love
Enough soul love
No more heart aches
No more needless hurts
Let's start to work for it today…

There is hope
That one time
We'll all have enough

Enough wisdom
Enough for a healthy laugh
Wisdom for a sincere tear
No more arrogance
No more money blindness
Let's start to work for it today…

Let us start today
A kindness revolution
The biggest revolution
Ever
Let's all hope together
And work for it today.

Ch 03 On The Excellence Of Contentment Story 18

An Arab suffering in the desert from extreme thirst recited:

‘Would that before my death
I could one day enjoy my wish
That a river’s waves might strike my knee
And I might fill my water-bag.’

In the same manner another traveller lost himself in an extensive region having neither any strength nor food left but he possessed some money and roamed about and the road leading him nowhere he perished from exhaustion. Some people afterwards discovered his corpse with the money in front of it and the following written on the ground:

If possessed of all the Ja’feri gold,
It will avail nothing to a hungry man.
To a poor man burnt in the desert
Boiled turnips are more valuable than pure silver.

What Are True Riches?

Gold Finances Possessions
are not true wealth.
Give them to a dog the dog
does not care.

Food Food matters
to the dog.

The dog wants to eat
as do
the starving millions.

Gold Money Possessions
we cannot eat them.

Wise words of inspiration
focused wisdom
can change and enrich society.

A country without art
an appreciation
of what great civilizations

have said through art
is not worth living in.

What of the third world?
The topic cries for attention.

It is not pompous vanity
that divides nations.

Policies of the IMF are deliberate
it is deliberate
calculated greed and indifference.

The price the environment
and poor
people of this planet have paid

is soon evidently...
going to haunt us.

The amazingly thing is
world powers
are deliberately inflicting...

this suffering upon other nations.

The technology resources
and money needed

to resolve these issues...
was available.

Superpowers would rather
rule a rubbish heap
than share a paradise earth.
